'A Baker's Dozen' is a fantastic compilation of stories from the amazing Dr. Seuss. This set contain almost all of the iconic stories we associate with the master children's story teller. Both children and adults will find these stories highly amusing with complex enough themes to keep the interest of anyone. A great starter set for children and a fantastic "walk down memory lane" for adults.

This is a great collection of Dr. Seuss stories. I have a three yr old son and every evening at bed time we read a story. We have the Whinnie the Pooh collection set, Dora and Barney night time books. But 9 out of 10 times he asks for "Green Eggs and Ham". I also purchased "One Fish, Two Fish..."

This book contains a nice selection of stories and poems by Dr. Seuss. Many of your favorites will be found here, as well as some not quite so well-known. A great addition to any library, home or classroom.
And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street; The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins; Horton Hatches the Egg; Yertle the Turtle and Other Stores; How the Grinch Stole Christmas!; The Lorax :: A Personal Account of the Discovery of the Structure of DNA :: Double Helix (Scribner Classics) by James D. Watson (1998-02-27) :: The Double Helix :: Yertle the Turtle (Floor Puzzle)

My 4 year old has been learning American Sign Language and these books are perfect! We started with Go, Dog, Go, but there are so many times you can read and sign it before that's all your child does. It's definitely nice to have variety.

Absolutly loved the book, but it came with dents in the binding and around the edges and the dust cover scratched and torn! I am very disapointed! I am supposed to give this as a gift at a baby shower tomorrow and I'm honestly embarrassed to gift it because it looks badly used!!

This is a collection of Seuss's most popular stories, including his first and last books. The commentary on each story could form a small book worth purchasing on its own. While it doesn't contain all of Seuss's stories, it is a great addition to the library of any age.

The content of the book is perfect. The stories are original and it includes extra information of the author and the background. The cover of my book arrived broken in the back, yet it was expected for a used book. Anyways it is a hard cover so the book is completely functional. In addition, the graphics are very colorful...love it!

My husband and I have been looking for a compilation book of stories by Dr. Seuss and this is the only one out there with all the greats...The Grinch, Green Eggs and Ham, Horton, Lorax and Cat in a Hat. Perfect for us, our daughter will enjoy this greatly.

This storybook is great, not only because it has so many of Dr. Seuss' wonderful stories all in one package, but because of the historical information included within the book. My children and I love the classic stories and amazing illustrations, but I also very much enjoyed learning about the author through those who worked closest to him. The personal introductions to each story are also greatly appreciated and most touching.

I purchased this book because i know if I purchased all the stories individually then the kids would lose half of them. In that regard this book has worked perfectly as it is simply too heavy for them to carry off far on their own, so they generally look for smaller lighter toys or books in its place. The extra facts about Dr. Seuss included in the book are interesting too.

It must be noted, as others have noted, some of the pictures look small in this book. They haven't made much of an effort to format the pictures to fit the page but honestly the kids probably will never notice or care until they are adults.
