Undraland: A Fantasy Adventure

I can't thank the author enough for introducing me to this book. The main character, Lucy Kincaid, is put into one situation after another. She is far from perfect, but she will surprise you.
This book will take ahold of you, keep you captivated. One can picture everything, in the story vividly.
You will feel every emotion the characters have. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens.

A little poorly written adn deffinitely teen angsty. Was hoping for more when the story started. It quickly devolve into twilight as far as the romantic content. Not a bad plot, just could have been more.

My son (14) and I (former librarian) are reading this series together. Book 1 leaves you at a bit of a cliffhanger. If you choose to keep reading, buy the combo packs. There are 9 books in all. It's definitely a series intended for younger readers, but... Beware, there are a lot of serious adult concepts in this series, including death, rape, torture, emotional torture, abuse, domestic abuse, slavery, mutilation, depression, suicide, and murder. The series is well written but I do NOT recommend it.

While I admit that the whole romance between Lucy and Jens is kinda fast for my taste, I like this book. No, love this book. I want to know about the laplanding and Jaime and Britta, not to mention how the whole concurring Pesta is gonna go. Also, she threw in a twist making you think that maybe Mace loves Lucy! (Gasp!) Is it a scandal!? Definitely going to be reading the whole series and probably the novels too!

Terrible. A "hot" supernatural who wears a dunce cap and smells like cookies? Really? Never mind the weak plot... Hard to get past the characters. The heroine is very strange, with an unnatural conversational style. The relationships are unbelievable.

The author assumes we know all about this magic world and does a terrible job of explaining things. With a serious rewrite the book would be good but now it reads just like every other book written by a new and young author.
