A Novel (Dexter Series) by Jeff Lindsay (2015-07-07)

Once again the kids are in danger and need rescuing. Lindsay's plots are as predictable as a Hallmark Channel romance movie.

1.Oh wow Dexter is in a pickle.
2.Wow Dexter gets out of pickle.
3.Oh and the kids are in danger again. Better go rescue those kids.
4.Oh yeah and put in too much unneeded internal dialog from Dexter so you can fill out 200+ pages.

This book is worth a read if you're curious about the ending of the series. Don't expect anything too spectacular.

Before you read this, the last book of the Dexter series . . . make sure you are ready. I mean it, make sure you are ready to say goodbye to this character because I see no way to continue this series without rebooting it and as much as I love that . . . it was painful to say goodbye.

I'm honestly a little disappointed in the actual ending, the final "villain" as it were, but it was still a wortwhile journey and it was enjoyable from start to finish.

Also, if, like me, you thought Dexter's Final Cut was kind of a weak book, DO NOT SKIP IT. You HAVE to read Dexter's Final Cut to understand the plot in Dexter is Dead.
