I am still reading this book. I am very interested in it. I just hate to see this book end. I read the first 2 books of this trilogy and enjoyed them immensely. Adriana Trigiani is one of the authors I enjoy reading the most. I love her homey style of writing. I am an Italian and I can relate to the plots of her books.

The Supreme Macaroni Company left me with a lot of questions from the very beginning. TMI was not the case in this novel. I had enjoyed the first 2 novels in this series and could not wait to read this one. However, the third novel in this series was a disappointment. Was not one of Adriana's best novels.

I am a fan of Adriana Trigiani and read everything that she writes. This book was just okay. It was very predictable, and there were loose ends left unanswered. I will still continue reading her books because I like the family dynamics among the characters, and I like the levity when reading Trigiani's novels. I would like a meatier story line.

Let me start by saying I love Adriana Trigiani! But I was DISSAPOINTED in the momentum of the book. It almost feels like I'm reading the same old story like Danielle Steele. I want to see more of the The Queen of the big time, big stone gap, Lucia Lucia. I want more surprises! I knew what would happen before I read it! Ugh

As always Trigiani keeps you enthralled with Valentine and family's wonderful relationships. The Supreme Macaroni Company was no different, you feel like you have spent the weekend with an Italian family with all of the love and chaos.
I will wait again for another adventure of Valentine.

Ms. Trigiani draws from her Italian background with her stories about a century old family business with hard times and hard choices to make about business, love and always the family. Trigiani, is a story teller supreme, her stories are a comfortable read. Curl up and enjoy story telling at it's best. She never disappoints. It is hard to put a book down once you begin, then as the end nears you will be a little sad to say good bye to the characters she has introduced you to and their stories.

As always, this author delivers wit, charm, and the daily lives of characters that feel like your family by the end of the book. The scenes of Italian life and drama are rife with the customs of the warm, inclusive, tradition riddled events that are just one small part of a great Italian heritage

I cried and cried. Trigiani brings the emotions of an opera to this book. Read the trilogy and read them in order. And prepare yourself to add some family members to your family and then to lose them. Weep and laugh. I did.

I started reading these books because I saw the author on a talk show and I am glad that I did. I did not know when I started the trilogy that Valentines factory would end up in Youngstown. I am from that area and I know all the places that were mentioned - Bears Den Road and the Lake Club. I laughed and I cried partly because I share Valentines tragedy. Great books!

I loved it!!! It really finished off the trilogy beautifully. All loose ends were tied up in true Trigiani fashion. I am now reading all her previous books. Her portrayals are so true to life and her characters are 'real'. A great read!!

I love Adriana Trigiani'$ writing about Italian families. She evokes joy and laughter within the absurdity of Italian and all families. This book provides us insights about a personal journey within the context of marriage and family. BRAVO!

I really enjoyed the book until the end. I think it was too abrupt
and disconcerting...The story could have ended on a brighter note.
I do like her writing and have read the other books she has written.
I will read her books in the future. I hope the endings are softer.

The Supreme Macaroni Company is the next chapter in the life of Valentine Angelini. I truly did not want the book to end. Adriana Trigiani draws you into the story so you are part of the family, even if you are not Italian. She shows you that all families have the same love, worries and quirks, no matter what their heritage. I hope she continues to write about Valentine , or any other characters. I have read all her novels.

This author is one of my favorites! The latest in this distinct series maintained the enjoyment and integrity of her writing. I consider the characters as well-known friends and heroes. I highly recommend this book!

A great read, especially if you are blessed to be in an Italian family with a family business that continues for us since 1905. I think since New York is geographically closer to Italy that east coast link is very strong for all the characters in her stories. The first bookI read by Adriana Trigiani was the Shoemaker's Wife and was delighted to discover these other three books. Her characters are portrayed like real people that we all can relate to people in each of our lives.

Wonderful! It was fun to read about family interaction and of course he story line too. If you are Itaian, you will recognize the characters. I am anxious for the next novel following these characters into their futures.

The first two books in this series were so winning and Valentine was an endearing character. For some reason, in this volume, the author chose to make her almost unbearable. She is selfish, self-centered and whiny to a fault. This is not the future I hoped would befall this beloved character. There is nothing that says there can't be a part 4 to this trilogy. Please bring back the Valentine we all loved!

I adore Adriana Trigiani & have read many of her novels. The Valentine Trilogy is one of my favorites; and Supreme Macaroni (3rd in the series), is the best! So many "laugh out loud" moments -- I'm sorry it ended!! Want more.

Another amazing story from Adriana Trigiani. What can I say about this great Author but she does it again. This book is about an Italian American family that contains love support and heartbreak. Loved it.

I'm Italian American and Adriana Trigiani has all the old customs and traditions down pat. She is an insightful writer and thought provoking in this book. She knows the nature of the Italian people and writes with such humor that I sometimes laughed aloud. But, you don't have to be Italian to read this book.

I've read almost all of Adriana Trigiani's books & LOVE!! them. Her writing style is excellent, which for me makes her books easy-reads. She uses her personal, family history & knowledge (due to research) in each aspect of her stories so they "come alive" for me. HOWEVER, after reading so many of her books, I'm finding they're becoming repetitive in their themes, i.e., so many
are now based on the design & production of shoes or clothing. Time to expand her topics? themes?

After reading The Shoemakers Wife, this book was a real disappointment. The relationships were predictable and dull. I had really hoped to love this story so I would continue on with Ms. Trigiani's other stories, but will pass for now.

The third novel in this series was somewhat formulaic, but it had a satisfying ending. I have enjoyed watching the development of Valentine, the main character. I enjoy Adriana Trigiani's style of writing.

Was so looking forward to reading Adriana T's latest sequel book- I thought this book was written by a novice writer
Instead of Adriana T. It was not up to par with The Shoemakers Wife. I would not recommend this book-

I started reading Adriana's books because of her name and never stopped. Her style makes me laugh and cry but mainly, her books are real, describing Italian families as they are: not a lot of boundaries but tons of love.

I have read every single book this author has written and this one is the weakest. It was very difficult to get into the story followed by a weak and predictable ending. I was unable to emotionally connect to the characters. Something is amiss...

I love the rich Italian Family history that is always woven through Andriana Trigiani's books including "The Supreme Macaroni Company". She makes you feel like you are part of this wonderful Italian family. Barb Cognetta

Loved the story as usual with Adriana Trigiani. She writes as if she's sitting having a conversation over a cup of coffee. This was a beautiful love story even though Valentine got a bit too headstrong at times; loved her husband for standing by her no matter how difficult she became. Keep up the good work Adriana Trigiani!

I read to be entertained and to gain knowledge. Had I not been reading this as a book club project, I would have put the book down and never touched it again. The writing was sophomoric, the characters shallow and the storyline weak and over-simplistic.

Never having read this author before, I am astonished that she has written so many other books that seem to have been so well received. I was not entertained and the primary knowledge I gained was that I would not read this author again. Too bad you can't get your money back.

I absolutely love the story telling ability Of Adriana Trigiani. I love she writes using contrast and comparison. By the time I finished this trilogy, I felt that I was part of this Italian family. I cannot say enough how much I have enjoy reading these books. Thank you so much, Adriana, for your gift.
