I thorough enjoyed this book! The plot is so good that you can't put the book down.
Both Matt and Janie are great characters so well developed that you can almost feel you know them.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series. This book is a must for romance readers.

Is exactly how I describe this first installment of the First Class series. I so related to Jane in her loss and the need to find closure. It is hard to move forward from the grief and over whelming thought of a life alone after the death of her husband. Jane shows true strength in her decision to take her "trip of a life time", and it turns out to be just that with the help of Matt Latham, the man in the grey suit she meets on the plane who goes on to show her "His New York" and they become lovers in the process with "no strings attached."
But soon Jane realizes she has fallen in love with this handsome, sexy, wealthy man but knows he is a player so she says nothing of her feelings and leaves to go home, not knowing that Matt has come to think that she is "The One" but thinking she doesn't return his feelings, lets her go until Katy, Jane's friend, calls Matt and let's him have it with both barrels. Now he knows Jane has feelings for him, but she is gone. He let her go! I can't wait to read "First Class to Portland" to see if Matt can straighten out the miss understanding before he loses Jane.

I read this and immediately bought AJ's entire First Class series. Great light reading by the pool! I have read more engaging romance novels but also have had many, many WORSE ones in my hands. You cannot go wrong with the Latham family.

Really liked this book, but was forced to purchase the next book for the story to end. I really try not to read books that do this. I went head and bought the "First Class to Portland" which I enjoyed. Then decided that was enough of a series.

Janie is a widow who has always dreamed of visiting New York. She decided to splurge and go first class. Matt is a business owner with several other people. They meet at the airport in Portland. Read to book to find out what happens. I enjoyed it.

Being an older romance reader, I really enjoyed this book. I was really able to identify with Janie and most of the feelings she felt being a woman in her forties. AJ HARMON did an excellent job. I cannot wait to read book two

I really enjoyed reading this book. The reason for only 4 stars is because I had no idea that to really finish the story I needed to have book #2, First Class to Portland. I have read many books that continued into the next book but hadn't had one that never finished the story first. Other than that, it's a good read but make sure you have the next book to continue on reading.

As with many books that are free, readers would be well advised to download the sample first. I understand some reviewers being upset about the cliffhanger, but in my opinion, there is a much bigger issue.

The main question is: does this book hold any appeal for the reader? Given the high ratings, clearly it does. I find the ratings baffling. For me, the characters were two-dimensional and the dialogue was wooden. The steamy scenes were perfunctory. There would have to be a lot better explanation about why the hero is mesmerized by Janie. Just having her be "different" from the usual woman he dates is not enough. New York is filled with women who do not fit into the size zero, socially elite categories.

"I want you, Janie," he breathed. "May I have you?" What is she? A piece of cake?

Janie took a long hot shower, making sure her armpits were perfectly clean shaven, as her dress would not be hiding any FOLIAGE growing under there. GAK!

2 stars because the book was free. I'm not worried about the lack of resolution as there would be nothing to tempt me to continue reading this series. This just feels like 80's Harlequin revisited.

Very well written with good character development. But......I do not like un-ended books. I realize it is Book 1 in a series, but I thought the story would be finished in this book and perhaps other characters would take over in Book 2.

A pleasant surprise. A story about a second-time-around romantic encounter that is not bland or apologetic. The heroine comes with baggage, captures the eye of a rich hunk but returns to a ho hum life in a manner that does not seem contrived or stupid or made-for-this-book only. I would read the sequel sometime.

Have you ever thought about taking a First Class trip, anyplace? No thought to expenses just a getaway. I think about it quite often but I have not done it yet. Janie Anderson loses her husband to cancer and finally decides to take that trip, first class to New York, a trip she dreamt about as a child.
Janie gets more than what she bargained for when she meets Matt Lathem. He's rich, handsome and has a reputation, but can Janie and Matt put aside old hurts and love like it's the first time? I would like to think that we don't miss out on love because of the past, but ending aren't always tied in a neat bow.
I truly enjoyed what the author did with Matt and Janie; each one battling with his or her own issues and in need of relief, but neither ready to give up and give in. The tension between them was not only sexual but emotional.
I wanted to give this book rating higher than a 3, but the editing issues stopped me.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided by the author for the purpose of this review.

Very interesting fantasy. Every woman's dream to meet a man like Matt. My only criticism is that the book did not have a conclusion. You had to buy another to find out what happened to Matt and Janie. However, I did buy the whole series.

The story would have been much better if it would have come to a conclusion at the end. I find the effort of a series too far fetched. Despite that, it is well written - a bit too unrealistic for me, but well written

loved the story, laughed, cried, lived it, but I prefer my stories complete and I don't pay for books so unless they're available from the library, I won't get to read the end of Matt and Jamie's story.
