The entire Aunt Dimity series is amazing. I finish one and download the next to my Kindle. Half way thru the 21 book series and wish there were more. GREAT reading. Never a slow chapter or page in the books.

I love the relationship between Lori and Bill and you can't help but wanting to know more and more about aunt Dimity's story. I really recommend this book to anyone that loves a good romantic story with plenty of mystery to go around.

Seriously. I've read a heap of cozies, and given several an honest 5 stars. Compared to all of those, this one stands a solid 10 without exaggeration. Splendid mysteries, splendid humor, splendid compassion, extraordinary character development.

Aunt Dimity is really getting around! There were too many rabbit holes here and I was ready to give it a sigh of relief several times - NO, THAT'S NOT IT! Aunt Dimity did not belong here and I did not like this book.

This series is just delightful. They are not ANYTHING like a Stephen King book (his are brilliant, but they scare me so much - I can't even begin to read another one). They are maybe similar to comparing witch tales to Wizard of OZ. Aunt Dimity is like someone's "Aunt Bee." They do NOT dwell really at all in the spirital, ghostly aspect.
Start with the 1st - "Aunt Dimity's Death" and I promise that you will come back for more.

Nancy Atherton is one of my all time favorite writers. This is a consuming story and held my attention all the way through the book. Aunt Dimity's recipes are an enjoyable touch as well. Nancy's books are always lighthearted stories without giving away the resolution before the actual end of the stories. I think you will enjoy this book as well.

Again, I had a great time visiting the countryside of England, vicariously touring, hiking and dining....It is over 90 degrees where I live just as I am reading this book and I am enjoying the wet, the cool and the teas that go with English life....the story was good, too! Delightful and touching, this story was one of my favorites so far....the last one in my library, I ordered the remaining 8 last night! Aunt Dimity, where are you?????

A fun story with a whole different perspective. The mystery of the "gold or no gold" was fascinating. Actually, it was the second time I have read this particular book. I bought it at the airport when I was traveling a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the second reading as much as the first.

I have been waiting (and waiting) for this to come out on Kindle. I have all of Aunt Dimity's books on Kindle and re-read them often, when I need something light-hearted and romantic! Thankfully, the first one is now available. I was not disappointed! Thank you for putting it on the Kindle option!

Lori leaves Finch! I missed the small English village and all the atmosphere that comes with it and it's characters. The story was fun though and full of surprises. Lori can never truly get away from a mystery!

Love all the Aunt Dimity books... good stories that take your mind away from everyday life for a while. You are always waiting for the book to end so you can see how she figures things out, but hating it to end at the same time, cause once it's over.. you are looking for the next book

All the Aunt Dimity books are great, but Nancy Atherton really outdid herself with the story in this one. Romance, adventure, wonderful characters and an obnoxious pop star, and you won't guess...well there are several things you won't guess. One of her best.

I became an instant fan with the first Aunt Dimity book. I hated to put the book down and hated even more when I reached the end of the book. These people feel like best friends! Thanks Nancy Atherton for keeping the characters alive with each new book! I am on my third one and am extremely grateful you are continuing to write more! May you live forever!

I discovered Aunt Dimity several years back and bought many of the books. When I got my Kindle, I started replacing the (well-read & well-worn) paperbacks.

These stories are always fun and interesting - I've re-read most of them and they are my 'go-to' stories for a good bedtime wind-down.

Since I've discovered Aunt Dimity and here wonderful stories, I've been reading them like potato chips . . .can't stop at just one. Snowbound fits that bill . . .Just plain fun to read, a great break for a few hours. And another stop on the Aunt Dimity journey. Enjoy it.

The Aunt Dimity series is made up of great, light reads that are really fun. No heavy thinking here; just an enjoyable, lighthearted book. As I was reading this one, though, I kept expecting Lori to appear, but she didn't. I really think this book should go before Aunt Dimity's Death, not after. At any rate, it was still a very enjoyable read, and I recommend it.

I just finished reading AUNT DIMITY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA. I have read all her previous books which I thought were very good, some better than others. DEEP BLUE SEA is her BEST yet!

I loved it! It caught my attention on the very first page, and would not turn me loose until the very end. Please, someone tell Nancy Atherton to keep it up! Please keep us supplied with more of your constantly improving writing about Aunt Dimity and her friends! Thanks!

I read several reviews before starting this book today and I must say that many were misconstrued. I read the book in a day and couldn't put it down. Every story in the sereis is similar, but different. They're similar in the fact that Nancy gives her readers a brief glimpse into Lori's past and how she came to Finch, Lori always finds herself a mystery to solve, and she seeks guidance from Aunt Dimity (except in book 2, Aunt Dimity and the Duke). However, the mysteries change with every novel, questions are answered, and we watch the characters grow. Furthermore, the villians in her books are very rarely ever truly evil. Usually, they're poor individuals who are mixed up. I didn't find Lori to be crazy or raving in this book. She was simply coming to terms with past behaviors and trying to make changes. Something we all do in life. Moreover, I thought Nancy's descriptions of the Ren Faire were wonderful, because if you've never experienced one, she paints a perfect picture for you. Having been to one before, I can say she was quite accurate.

I started this series in the second week in July, after receiving the first 6 books as birthday presents; I finished the 14th book today. I must admit I was a bit nervious about this series, because it had been described to me as similar to Jan Karon's Mitford series. I started Jan's Mitford series, but was unable to finish it, because I thought it was too slow. However, once I started reading this series, I realized that I wouldn't be able to stop after the 6th book. I think I was in the middle of book 3 or 4 when I purchased the rest of the series. I haven't bought "Aunt Dimity Down Under" yet, because I'm waiting for it in paperback. If you're looking for a nice mystery series that is wholesome and enjoyable, look no further. Very rarely do you happen upon an author who is able to keep you turning page after page, book after book; Nancy Atherton is such an author. Overall I give this book and every other book in this series 5 stars. I haven't reached a point during this series where I've wanted to hang up the towell.

God bless and enjoy!

I fell absolutely, positively in LOVE with the Aunt Dimity series! I found my first read.. Aunt Dimity and the Village Witch at a store which carried unique gifts. Read it in 2 days. Purchased the 1st in the series and read it in 1 day! I just love the way Nancy writes. She brings you right to london...sharing her tea. Crumpets and brown bread. Wonderful author, wonderful read!

My niece introduced me to the Aunt Dimity series. I am reading all of Dimity in sequence and so far have not been disappointed! Stories remain fresh which is sometimes difficult when the author does a long series. I admit that I do skim over ongoing character introductions so a reader can begin with any book.

I enjoy the Aunt Dimity stories and Nancy Atherton writes well. But, I can hardly get past my dislike for Lori. She is a jerk. She's close to 40, but attracted to 21 year olds?! I really don't like her. Perhaps the author could kill her off and have Bill (who's stupid to put up with her) find someone better!

This is another of Ms Atherton's imagnative stories and well worth reading. I have read all of the Aunt Dimity series but still enjoy returning to read them again. Just finished Aunt Dimity and the Duke. Third time Ive read that one. Read the "Holiday" only twice but will in time read it again. Good stories. Good Entertainment.

This is my favorite Aunt Dimity "mystery". I put mystery in quotes because there's no dead body, no murder. But Lori's search for a missing mystery brother is first rate. I can read it over and over and enjoy it each time.
