Just finished the Kindle edition of Heat Rises, I loved it! The story line kept me interested and wasn't predictable. This was the best book so far and I hope there are more to come. I highly recommend this book and series even if you haven't watched the show but seriously you have to watch the show because it is awesome.

I bought this book for my Kindle this afternoon, and had it finished before the new episode of Castle aired tonight at 10. To say I tore through it is an understatement.
The book is by far the best of the three 'Richard Castle' novels released to date. As a fan of the show, the sneaky (and not-so-sneaky) references to the show really push this past "good book" into "amazing book" for me. I laughed out loud at several parts, most notably 'Butt Rogers' and 'We don't need no stinking badges.' As a story, it actually did keep me guessing until the reveal, which hardly ever happens within this genre. Color me impressed.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. I enjoyed the concept when the TV series was introduced and now I find the books a good escape on a long weekend. I recommend Heat Rises to anyone who enjoys a mystery with some twists.

The Richard Castle books with Nikki Heat as the main character are outstanding. I really didn't think they would be that great, seeing how they were created as a spin off of the show, but I was very pleasantly surprised! Love this series!

Item: Book as described.
Delivery: Prompt and well packaged.
Recommend: Would recommend this Nikki Heat novel to anyone whose a fan of Castle!
Purchase again?: Yes, if I ever need another copy.
I am a Castle fan, so I may be a bit biased. However, if it was a crap read, I would state it without hesitation.
Definitely for one for (but not restricted to) Castle fans!

Better than the first and goes beyond the introductions of characters to a solid mystery. The relationship of characters is what a bood is all about and this one does a good job at that. I'd recommend it to followers of Castle and Nikki Heat.

great continuation of the story.. this is kind of weird .. you can not help but put Becket and Castle in the roles of Heat and Rook
its a book , bases on a fictional charter written by a ghost writer ..pretending to be one of the fictional character ..

I absolutely love the Richard Castle series with Nikki Heat. Heat is definitely an operative word for character and setting. The mystery part is not so much the clincher but the romance between Nikki and Castle. Must read.

The Nikki Heat Trilogy is a captivating mystery novel based on a television series known as Castle. The way this novel and all the other novels under this trilogy had me on the edge of my seat and I could not put the book down until i read the final page. It keeps you guessing until the end and it captures the criminal thoughts and her reasons for doing what she did, which by the way if killing someone was not bad her actions would be justified, like no other book ever has and it can easily be put on the number one shelf with the like of Patricia Cornwall and Oliver Stark. I would recommend this book as a present to a loved one. Looking forward to many more new books!!!

This was my first Richard Castle "Heat" book. It was a fast, easy read. Interesting to see how it relates to the TV Series. It kept my interest till the end, but was not so good that I want to read another in the series.

Nikki Heat is a superior police detective. All the books are about her amazing exploits as she solves one crime after another. These books are well written and the characters are believable. Enjoy them very much.

This is an action packed mystery. The Nikki Heat character is an interesting female detective (that wants to stay a detective even after maxing the exam for promotion). She certainly keeps things moving and holds the reader till the end.

I love 'Castle', and the Nikki Heat books have been great fun for me. The characters are not exactly 'Castle' and are not supposed to be. But it is easy to relate them to the ones in the TV show. I want to read more!

Richard Castle (or James Patterson) did another great job with Heat Rises. It's a great compliment to watching "Castle", when you need a little more than the TV show. Think it's so great that "Richard Castle" is really bringing us this book.

I always love the Nikki Heat stories. The characters in the story is so much like the TV series (which is very good). Richard Castle's books hold your interest and give you a little humor also. I would highly recommend any of Richard Castle's books.

Quick and light with just enough twists to keep you turning the pages. Far better than the television show. Castle is great at creating a certain feel that keeps a reader interested no matter how implausible the string of events.

These are some really fun books. They aren't the series, but do have similarities. All in all, they're a good, light read. Don't expect a Clancy thriller here. Just some good, relaxing, entertainment...

I could not put this down. Excellent. The references to Firefly, and others were slipped in quietly, which put a smile upon my face. The writer has captured Det. Beckett`s character quite nicely.
Kudos.

This book has an interesting plot that is fast paced so it keep the reader interested rather than bored. I have not completed reading it but am enjoying it very much on my kindle version purchased from the store.
