Losing Leah Holloway (A Claire Fletcher and Detective Parks Mystery Book 2)

Amazing, I was reading this book every chance I got. Downloaded the audio version so I could listen on the go or as I was lying in bed at night. Thriller, suspense, with some twists of romance all in one book. I was constantly on the edge, trying to figure it out and just when I thought I was sure I turned out to be all wrong.

Amazing. The story line kept me breathless and wanting more. The characters are flawed but real. The conversation Claire has with the profiler is true to therapy that is really practiced. Wonderful! I want more. Thank you.

What makes a well balanced mother who doesn't drink go crazy and ram cars, killing innocent people as she drives her car with both her and her neighbours children in it, into the river where Claire Fletcher dives in and is able to save the children but Leah Holloway refuses to be saved, preferring to drown.
Claire and her once boyfriend Detective Connor Parks rekindle their relationship as they trace the movements of Leah and delve into her background. What they find isn't the picture perfect life that appears at first glance. A well written sequel to Finding Claire Fletcher with loads of suspense. Recommended

This is the 2nd in the series about Claire Fletcher..This one continues, and she is not dating Detective Connor Parks, as she just cannot forget the years that she was kidnapped and raped for years.

When Claire and her sister are out fishing, she sees a car go over the bridge and into the water. She rushes down and finds that there are children in the car. Before the car goes under, she knocks on the window for the women driving, to tell her to unlock the doors so she can get the children out, the women shakes her head No, then she deliberately sinks down below the water and drowns. Claire does succeed in the getting all of the children out by breaking the sun roof. Conner is called to the scene and he can't believes he sees Claire, who he is still in love with. Now the newspapers are wanting Claire's story, but she doesn't want to give any interviews, and her sister, Brianne, tells her that she will will tell them to story and to keep Claire's name out of the papers, she will say she is the one that saved them.

While also investigating this case, Connor has been on the serial killer case - that is killing Soccer Moms..Now Claire is in the middle of both of the cases, as she does realize she wants to be with Connor. Is it too late? Now someone is targeting Brianne. Is this tied to the serial killer case?
Why would a Mother try to kill her children, along with the neighbors children that she had taken to the soccer game?

Great follow up to the 1st of this series!

Losing Leah Holloway is continuation of Finding Claire Fletcher by Lisa Regan. Although it continues with Claire's life it is a stand alone story. Some back and forth in time, Losing Leah Holloway is immediately a page turner that at times has you on the edge of your seat. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. I was given an early copy to review.

This was an intense thriller that kept me reading and on the edge of my seat. It's a great page turner with scandals and live affairs galore. I love reading about Claire and Conner reuniting and finding happiness after all shed been through. I loved the entire book, it's a must read for romantic suspense fans everywhere!
