This story was a great blend of secrets and intense steam. The author brought Ethan and Mia to life and I enjoyed every minute of it. The emotions surrounding the characters had me feeling their thoughts and emotions. I couldn't get enough. I'm never disappointed with this author's writing.

What starts out as an interview between Ethan and Mia, leads to an unplanned pregnancy, a snowed in cabin, and an edge of your seat thriller.

There are twists, turns, unsettling events, repartee with snappy one liners, and a growing love between Ethan and Mia....what's not to like?

Enjoyed this story from beginning to ending. The chemistry was off the charts hot ? with Ethan and Mia and couldn’t put away my kindle till I finished the story. Mia and Ethan are amazing!! I love mountain man stories and it's even cuter when they get snowed in. Ethan is a rich man haunted by his past and Mia shows up at his house to tell him she's carrying his baby after one night together, but she's afraid and then they get snowed in and yeah, what else is there to do when you get snowed in?!??? Big Mountain Daddy is a beautiful book.

The plot is peppered with mystery, suspense, romance, action, and emotions. Ethan and Mia hit it off too well but each was keeping secrets from the other. I like the twists in the story. The sex is steamy but I’m not a fan of the “Daddy” thing. Nevertheless, I like the story. [I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

Well written. Not an easy situation for the main male character to be in. No real solution to the situation. This was well portrayed by Ms. Hamel yet too, she included a redemption for this man in the female lead. Both very strong characters. Good plot twists. Nicely done!

Ethan cuts himself off from the world after an accident at his company. He ha agreed to do an interview an ha a one night Stan with the reporter. A great sexy story! Ethan is a reclusive billionaire hiding in the mountains. Mia is a reporter wanting to write Ethan’s story. They have a sexy one night stand which turns into Mia searching for Ethan on his mountain. Great characters, great story, steamy sexy scenes, drama, love, and a HEA. I received an arc for a voluntarily honest review.

This is a well written book about secrets and desires. It is a suspenceful romance that pulled me in from the first page and didn't let me go until the end. It is a standalone book with no cliffhangers. I highly recomend this book.

I liked that the story had few characters and I got to know each of them well. I didn't like the gap in time and wish that the book had been longer to avoid it. Otherwise, I recommend this book.

Mia and Ethan's story was fantastic! The chemistry between these two was hot. They shared some really sexy scenes. The story was well written and included some twists that kept me turning the pages. It was hard to put down.

B.B. Hamel writes the most beautiful love stories, and her latest, “Big Mountain Daddy” is one of her best. From the very first page, readers feel the tension, which flows from personal angst to sexual tension to the fear for one’s survival. Not only does Hamel give us main characters with an electric, combustible chemistry, Hamel also uses that POV switch per chapter that allows her readers to build a greater understanding of the main characters through their thoughts, actions, and fears. Thus, allowing her readers to gain an enhanced sense of identification with them as well. Even better, the reader is not told in the first introductory paragraphs that a character has this particular set of traits; instead, Hamel allows her reader to discover what there is to know about a character through the character’s own musings, actions, and dialogues between the different characters! Then Hamel adds to this path of discovery a plot that is both suspenseful and unusual, making every novel she writes a major page-turner, a book the reader cannot put down until the last page is read. Can you tell this reader/reviewer is a HUGE fan of B.B. Hamel’s writing? Although I was given an ARC of “Big Mountain Daddy” to prepare this honest voluntary review, I plan to purchase a copy of “Big Mountain Daddy” for my own FAVORITES library. A man with secrets and a reporter trying to uncover them. This is how Ethan and Mia met. Ethan secrets are bigger than Mia and he wouldn't share those with her, though he didn't mind sharing her bed! Next Mia has a secret and thus began secrets, hot sexy scenes, trust and danger. Great read I read it in one sitting

Wow! This book completely captives you from the first page to the last. Very very good read couldn't put it down till the end and I still wanted more! What started off an an interview for a story, ends up being an encounter filled with Russian money, hired guns and murder. Mia and Ethan have a lot to live for but with so much hanging in the balance can their love survive? With great characters and a quick action filled storyline this was a wonderful story.

Fun characters, a twisty plotline, and plenty of salacious steamy goodness. Ethan & Mia meet under forced circumstances, but things turn cozy and personal. Intrigue and danger mingle with the underlying romance. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

What an exciting read! Romantic suspense at its finest. Lots of feels, angst and love. A hot mountainmen and a beautiful journalist. Throw in a smart dog, a troubled past, attempted sabotage and enjoy. B.B. is a great storyteller.

I am voluntarily reading and reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book. This book had me from page one to the last page, I was so intrigued. It is a great storyline, emotional, passionate, and great chemistry with the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Well written book with a good storyline. I absolutely loved the dog aka Jones. Ethan and Mia know how to turn up the heat. I about had heart failure when they left Jones with Sally, but was righted in the end. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.

Mia Scott, a journalist seeks out to interview Ethan Reid, a very rich owner of the largest lumber companies in they U. S. who suddenly disappeared two years earlier after the accidental death of seven of his employees at one of his mills. Mia was sent by her boss, Murray Hunter to write a profile, but Ethan refused to answer any of her question, only to say, write what you want. She then followed him to his room, ending up spending the night with the gorgeous Ethan.
Ethan Reid has been haunted by the death of his employees, blaming himself, though he had nothing to do with it, bids away in his mountain mansion he calls his Prison. A month later Ethan gets a visit from Mia telling him she is pregnant with his child, now someone is out to kill them and soon the secret Ethan has been keeping comes out.
I love this story, it was well written, likeable characters and beautiful scene and reading the love grow between Ethan and Mia during their difficult time, while running from the enemy.

Big Mountain Daddy is completely captivating. B.B. has crafted amazing awe inspiring strong characters in Ethan, Mia, Shelley/Jen as well as Jones. Micah is a blessing to be coveted by all. What began as a story turns in to a life Mia never knew she needed. This book has it all. There are horrible and traumatic reasons for Ethan being on his mountain and Mia is going to find out why. Can she handle the honesty she's asking for? Can Ethan break free from his self imposed private prison? I literally stayed awake all night riveted to this book. A romance filled with passion as well as danger. I truly adored this read and believe that this is my absolute favorite B.B. Hamel book ever.

Mia has to do a profile on the Moutain man and it's has to go as planned for the sake of her boss and maybe her career, but at first she doesn't even know who she's looking for. Their wasn't any pictures of Ethan online.

Until he comes in and she just knows it's Ethan, rugged and huge. Ethan didn't want to do the profile. It was only a favor to Murray that he was doing to begin with, but in no way would he say why he went off grid in a self imposed exile on a Mountain.

Mia didn't know what would come of the interview with Ethan, but all she knew was that she needed to know more even if she had to go to the ends of the world to know it!!!!

Secrets will be revealed and lies will come to light.
Loved the book and I really had a hard time putting it down! It was a great read by an even greater author.

B. B. Hamel always writes excellent books and this on is no different. Rather has his deep dark secret past which makes him want to stay isolate from the world until her meets Mia. Mia is a journalist how was sent to interview him but ended up having a hot one night stand. Of course what's a one night stand without getting pregnant.
This book has secrets on both sides mixed with danger, learning each others bodies, mystery, and a cool dog that has his own role in the book.
