after reading 50 shades series, i didn't think there would be another book to top them. BUT, WOW....the first chapter had me hooked..i was reading chapter after chapter, unable to put it down. let your imagination go wild, and you will be wanting more. Put youRSELF in Faith's position and you will be enjoying this book more than by just simply reading it.orgasmic

The Sweet series by Maya Banks is wonderful for anyone who likes romance novels that have a plot line. There are 6 books in the series that all build on each other so you get updates on the characters. The books are hot and steamy but believable.

Wow! This book was totally amazing. Gray is looking for the killer of his partner. Faith works for her father's security business, where Gray comes to work as a cover for finding the killer. The minute he sees Faith sparks fly in him. I really don't want to say too much about this book because it wouldn't be fair to others to give too much away. All I can say is the book is amazing to watch the relationship between Gray and Faith. Will they be together or not? Only the ending will tell you. Maya Banks you are incredible. Starting book 2. WOW!

There is always an unseemly side in police work and Maya takes that walk on the unseemly side with this novel. Moving out of the ridged workings of law enforcement to undercover work to catch a killer is not new. But Maya also pulls in the dom/sub side of the human mind to try to sidetrack the undercover cop from his goal of catching his partners killer. That side track takes him dead on into the face of the killer and shows him what is really important in life; the love of a like minded woman.

I loved this novel. It was well organized in its plot. It give those of us who are curious about sex clubs a look into that wild side. As a retired police officer I can say she understands how politics within a department works and how we hate sometimes to work within those boundaries. The sex scenes are steamy and more like the real thing would be than some novels. Highly recommended!!

This book was everything I wanted it to be. Love. Sex. Thrill.Murder. I couldn't place the book down, I had to know what was going to happen. Very fast paced read, but with a lot of detail; just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more

II bought this book because i had read other books from this author. I was a little disappointed because it lack the love story that i had envisioned and that this author has in her other books. I still enjoyed it but won't be reading the other books of the "sweet series"

I didn't read the reviews before I purchased this book. I should have. I have read Banks' KGI series and really like those books so I thought I would try something else she has written. Next time I will read the reviews of an author I am not totally familiar with before I purchase any additional books by them. I would still purchase additional KGI books if she continues that series, but I will be very cautious about anything else she writes.
