Good content, but absolutely riddled with typos. "Its" and "it's" confusion is the most common, but there's also formatting errors (forgetting to press enter between lines in a list occasionally) and consistency errors (compound words being spelled as one word in one part of the text, but with a space in another).

If that doesn't bother you, this is a pretty decent purchase. It bothers me enough that I regret purchasing.

This book is SO FUN! Especially the Character Disabilities and Flaws section! We had everyone roll these for our 5e group to have on top of our Background Flaws. We now have a Kenku Assassin with seasonal allergies. It's great!

Very useful, beautiful design, overall a great tool for aby dungeon master specializing in homebrew campaigns or for those just starting who need inspiration. Excellent and id say essential tool for any dungeon master out there.

This is a fantastic book that I recently received as a gift. This is a great resource for any Game Master, writer, or any other creative user. As a Dungeon Master for several games at the moment, I find this to be a resource that provides more inspiration than tables necessarily. Do your NPCs lack an array of quirks? How about the vendor who needs more odds and ends to peddle? Did your fighter suffer a disease after trekking the stinging insects of the cursed swamp? Now give that Captain of the Guard a lisp that takes his intimidation down a notch. Maybe you did not think of stocking firewood for the townsfolk that adventurers would not want to carry - but it still is there for sale. Now grab this book and find some inspiration for names for this disease that is now up to you on its effects/mortality/name. Do not just use this as your answer key - but as a resource for your preparation before your game, your emergency creativity resource during the game, and your late night flip through before falling asleep to jog your last minute thoughts.

This book has allowed me to sit down and generate the beginning of a wonderful campaign in mere minutes. I went from literally no idea what I was going to have my characters do (During Character Creation mind you!) and was at a loss. After several dice rolls, my characters were off to the Orc kingdom of Aramor, meeting with King Strongfist, the pacifist Orc leader. He asked the party to help him with an evil cleric who is corrupting his peaceful orcs in the south of his kingdom. Fantastic! Also, the magic items do not actually exist within the rules, so you would have to make your own rules with them. Still some neat ideas to use, if a bit over powered. This book is a natural 20, will use all the time.

Absolutely fantastic. I saw it creeping around my the store feed for months, but foolishly I didn't get it right away. It felt weird to use pre-made random tables, since I've spent countless long nights enjoying my time making my own for games. However, I finally caved, and realized all the work inside is exactly the kind of stuff my friends and I used to make. It's perfect for our games and we absolutely love everything within. If you like sensible but fun random generation for your fantasy RPG, this book is for you. It works in to almost any ruleset, providing only basic descriptions, making it flexible and almost universal.
