Great book. Dyer's premier work. Purchased as a gift, YEZ is one of the few self-improvement books I recommend to friends. Delivery was on time, and the condition of the book was better than described by the seller. Buy it and enjoy!

This book was extremely helpful in understanding GUILT and WORRY as unnecessary "erroneous" emotions. However, the ideas were a bit extreme (I guess I tend to still lean on the more "dependent" side of the spectrum) for my tastes. The book is outdated, I believe originally published in 1976, but the themes are still mostly applicable for today's times. Overall, I am not disappointed and have already loaned the book out to a friend.

Dr. Dyer skillfully navigates the reader through life's "Erroneous Zones." Taken to heart, it can help you to recognize and eliminate negative behaviors that are limiting your life. In the end however, it's still up to you.

This book is wonderful - it's practically my Bible. I literally went through and highlighted passages of significance to me. I refer to it often to get through some of life's bumps in the road. A definte must-read if you want to change your outlook and see things in a new light. Very honestly written and incredibly helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, distilled to easy-to-understand terms. Dyer never uses the term CBT, and instead invented his own corny term, but I'm a successful "graduate" of a CBT program, and I can tell you this is it.

Now.... I remember reading this book decades ago, and still wound up in a psychiatric hospital later in life. This suggests that having needed knowledge on a printed page in front of me was not the same as fully applying it. In my case, a skilled therapist was needed. But the concepts are in this book. In fact, if you read the introduction and the first chapter, you have 95% of it.

This ought to be considered basic living skills, and be taught everywhere. Alas, it is not. But this book, having sold fourtyeleven-gazillion copies so far, is a good start.

I found this book to not only be exceptionally helpful and on point ... but also very well laid out.
Each chapter starts with Wayne presenting his information, followed by clear examples and bullet points that serve to drive home his topics.
I also have listened to his tapes and he has a refereshingly different presentation - not your typical motivational shouter or joke teller.
This is a great first Dyer book to purchase! Highly recommended.

Really great book, but most people don't give enough credit and attention. This book basically summarizes most peoples bad behaviour problems and why it happens. All because of irrational thinking. First comes thinking then comes behaviour or acting out! This book needs an audiobook format from audible.com

This was officially the first "self help" book I've ever read. In fact, it's the first book I've ever willfully read on my own (excluding the books I was forced to read in school and college). It was amazing. I felt like he was speaking directly to me and my specific problems from start to finish. He has a completely contrarian view on SO many aspects of life that just makes you think "wow, I've never thought of it that way." I highly, highly recommend and I'll definitely read it again.

This book could also be considered lifes instruction book.

I sought counseling after my divorce and this book was given to me by my therapist. It was a true revelation(!!!), in ways I could not have imagined. My copy was tattered, marked up, and well loved.

As the years have passed I have given my personal and well-worn copy away four times to friends who have benefitted from its message.
