The Risen, The Survivor Chronicles: Book 4

Loved this series. A unique and fresh approach to an apocalypse tale that you cannot put down. The characters are real and the suspense is captivating with a satisfying conclusion. I also loved this author's Captured series. Well written and great storylines.

I loved this series! These books had everything. I'm also happy the final book had a decent ending. I'm just sad now I have to find another book to read and I know it will not hold a candle to this one.

I loved loved this series. This was a good enough conclusion, but I do love my happy endings. I felt like there could have been more character development or character depth in this set as there was more in the previous three. This is just my opinion of course. I wish it would've included more about the conclusion that was presented in the last set as Donald. And more info and time spent on Victor and the other Lost Souls as well. All in all a great series. And I'm happy with the ending- mostly. Hence the 4 stars.

Have you ever just read a series and became addicted, I am so addicted to this series, I didn't want it to come to an end. Erica took these characters and made me fall in love with them all. You cheer them on and you have hopes and dreams for them. She just draws you into the book and you are living it. I've recommended this series to everyone I know and will continue to do so. If you've ever experienced Erica Stevens writing you will love this series and this book. Amazing amazing amazing. I hated for this to end, but at least we all got the answers we needed.

The ending to this truly fantastic series fits so very well. Erica Stevens writes a completely different story with each series, and this one is no different.

The cause behind the terrible events that brought these people together weren't the true focus of the story. So often, the cause isn't the most important thing - it's what we do to survive the circumstances we find ourselves in.

I didn't allow myself to read the chapters as she posted them on Facebook because I knew I would struggle not to finish the story at my own pace. It must be hard for Erica to say goodbye to such a wonderful group of characters, but I truly believe her timing was perfect ... the ending was perfect ... all of it just "clicked" so well.

I'm left with that melancholy feeling I always have when I finish a truly fantastic series, and although I will miss them, it all feels so right. Thank you, yet again Erica, for sharing a story that swept me up and connected to my heart. You truly have a gift!

Wonderful reading, BUT i have to ask WHY, this story started in «July of 2013» and ended in «April 2015»?????????
What is the reason behind taking almost TWO YEARS to start Once Upon a Time & The End?
What would all the readers do if s*** really did hit the fan? I do not know about the rest of the readers out there, but i would have over THIRTY stories i would NEVER get to know THE END. While the lights are out, and water no longer flows, all the authors out there, could not do that final book for The End.

Erica Stevens continuing story of Raily, Zander, Al, Carl, John and all the others that at survived the end of the world as they new it; it's fantastic. You come to love these characters. You cheer when they make it through a bad situation and cry with their loss of a loved one.
This story gives to hope that if thing do get bad that our humanity will keep us together. The survivor chronicles are a fantastic read one that I'm glad I stopped and read. These books are well worth there price and really worth the read.
