The Road to Woodbury (The Walking Dead Series) - The Walking Dead

THis book was amazing. It was exactly what i needed. If u get this book make sure you get the rise of the govener. I read that first and it was great how the two came together. This book starts after/during the Rise Of the Govener. Highly suggest this book. Just wish there was another book!!!

This novel doesn't escape the essence of the walking dead world where a walker is around every corner, In fact it maintains that and shows us the demented origin of key characters that are formed into the plot of the comics. Great piece of work and has gripping chapters tag won't let you rest until you read them

The first book was entertaining but this one was pretty useless for me. I won't be continuing the series. It's not representative of what I expect out of the walking dead world. Poor writing. Unbelievable story lines. Yes I know it's a zombie series, but it has to have some root in reality. This does not.

Good read especially for fans of the comic like myself but not as good of a read as the rise of the governor. If you are just a fan of the show I do not think you would find either enjoyable. Let's face it if you haven't been reading Kirkman's work so far I doubt your starting now. Looking forward to the next novel. Fall of the governor.

Husband and I both love The Walking Dead comics, TV series and the video game! These books are a great addition to anyone who is just as involved with the story and want more behind the scenes of how the Governor came into his position in the new world.

I love zombie genre, the walking dead series and anything affiliated. I enjoy getting to know new characters and getting more info on some we've already met. This is ideal if youve read the G/novels or watch the series and want to boost your Woodbury wisdom.
These guys are awesome and I can't wait for more. :-)

The road to Woodbury was alright. While this book was not as good as The Rise of the Governor, it still had it's moments. I hope that The Fall of The Governor makes up for the mediocrity of this one. If I didn't love the walking dead comics, tv show, and the genre itself I'd most likely be a much harsher critic.
