this is a great story about getting over your first love and trying again. Talon is a man that has been burned by love before and doesn't want to put himself there again. Eaven has been emotionally abused by her ex-boyfriend for way to long now that she is free of him she isn't looking for anything new. Though both of these people are avoiding love and commitments they find the instant they lay eyes on one another that there will be no other for them. At first you are not sure if Talon is just obnoxious or is hiding something. You later find out his whole story and realize it is self preservation. Eaven at least tries in the beginning but is thinking that he is just not into her so maybe she should just give up. This book is incredibly hot and has the perfect amount of push and pull to make you think this could really happen. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I had a hard time getting into this book. Everything was fast paced and I found it difficult to see the chemistry between the two main characters because of it. It also felt that the characters should be in high school and not college.
Parts 1 and 2 (The Walking Dead Series) - The Fall of the Governor :: Descent (The Walking Dead Series) - Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead :: Walking Shadow (Spenser) :: Walking Into The Unknown (# 10 in the Bregdan Chronicles Historical Fiction Romance Series) :: Heaven Sent (Rebel Walking #2) (Rebel Walking Series)

Finally a story written that the boy doesn't have to fix everything for the girl who'd die without him. This couple knows they will be something from their first look, but work through a few real rough spots to get to their HEA.

Another series featuring hot rockers that I have fallen for. Hilary did a great job of keeping me interested in what was going on. I could not but this book or the second book down. Order both of the books because you are going to enjoy both of them.

I am hooked. This book was an excellent read. This is the first book I read by Hilary Storm and I will be reading plenty more. I love the main characters and like that fact that other people in the book still held big parts in it.

This was an awesome story about how someone can help you heal from past heartbreak. I love how quickly each of the characters knew they were falling in love. Talon was able to tell about his heartbreak on the first date, so that Eaven didn't have any doubt about what was going on with him and so she could decide if she wanted to continue on the path they were headed down. Beautiful story and I can't wait to start the next book!

I truly enjoyed this book for it being the authors first book I feel like she was able to hold the readers attention thru the whole novel

The only problem I had was I felt like the characters were a little ya and there love story was a little rushed, but besides that it was good. I would def recommend this book and read the rest of the series

Color me fooled. With that many highly rated reviews, I thought it would be something worth my time. But, there is so much wrong with this book it's not even funny.

At the top of the list is without a doubt the stilted choppy writing. It is so bad. The dialogues are so forced and awkward that it makes me uncomfortable for the characters! And how many sentences on one page can you start with 'I' - pretty much all of them it seems. Really?! Who even cares about the storyline if the writing is so stiff? Not me, I returned the book at the 30% mark. It's a wonder I made it that far.

Shame too, I do love a good rocker romance. This however, doesn't qualify. Even at 99¢, it's just not worth it.

This book had a very good storyline and likeable characters. There were some very funny moments and steamy scenes. this was my first time reading this author. Looking forward to future books by her.

Yikes, this is bad! A 6th grader could do better. The writing style is awkward and immature, the dialog stilted and unnatural, like a slap in the face. Read the other one-star reviews - all true. Why anyone would give this 4 and 5 stars I can't figure out. Needless to say, I did not finish. Unfortunately, I had bought the whole set and didn't get to it for a while which means I can now no longer return it. Don't make that mistake.

This book was a huge disappointment. I think I only finished maybe 15% of the story before returning for refund. I love a good rock-star romance; so it was the summary that drew me in. However, all of the dialogue in this story felt childish and juvenile. I would not recommend this book to anyone. I will not be reading the remainder of this series. I have returned this book for refund.
