I don’t usually write reviews, but this book is one you want to read! I loved the characters, the story line! I read a ton of books and this will certainly go down as one of my favorites!
Great job Tami! A MUST READ!

This book arrived sooner than expected and in very good condition. Tami Hoag is one of my favorite authors, she is really a very good story teller. I had purchased the second book in this series of three without realizing it was a series. Fortunately, I realized that before I started reading it and immediately ordered this first book in the series. Wonderful that it arrived so quickly! Thank you for such good service.
Twisted (Tracers Series Book 5) :: Down the Darkest Road :: A Novel (Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska) - Ashes to Ashes :: The Alibi Man (Elena Estes) :: Deep Dark (Tracers Series Book 10)

Recommended byh my sister in law. She said it had beenrecommended to her by her sister. This author's books are not my style. I did read to to give them a chan, but the books were too "dark" for me. The vision of mouths and eye's being superglued and eardrums punctured is too horrible.

LOVED THE WAY THIS WRITER WRITES........JUST DRAWS YOU IN HER BOOKS! A MUST IF YOU LOVE A GOOD MYSTERY! THIS ONE HAS ALL THE FRILLS TO GO WITH IT TOO!

This is definitely worth reading for the variety of somewhat interesting characters, yet ultimately leaves something to be desired. Trying to find a serial killer, the police have a number of possibilities. Hoag creates some suspense by revealing the backgrounds and personalities of these characters slowly. So far so good. The problem for me is in the solution: The killer has no more motivation than any other character. Wouldn't it be nice to have several well-developed characters? Wouldn't it be nice to have the hero and heroine be more than stereotypes? The potential is here, but I wish it had been more satisfying.

Loved this book! So many possible suspects, but it’s always the quiet one. Just when you think you have it all figured out, something throws you off. Highly recommend this book, she’s one of my favorites!!

I hate reviewing books. I do however appreciate the folks who do reviews and do them well. I like the book. It was not the best book I have read. I will read more books by Tami Hoag later. This book did not make me want to read another before others I have in my person to read list..

that was really good. poor tommy i feel really bad for him. He should have pushed his mother off the edge of the ferry. I would like to see a follow up book of Tommy. It seems I am going backwards in this series I read the last one first and just finished this one now getting the first one.

This was a real page turner. The crime itself was very disturbing to think about. The characters were all flawed and very real. I especially liked the way the writer gets into the heads of all the kids in this book. You can feel their emotions pulling at them, too young to realize their lives will never be the same. Who wouldn't feel sorry for the two main child characters in this story.

Holds your attention. Interesting characters. Some surprising twists, but leaves some questions unanswered. You want to know about the detective and what happens to some of the other characters. I hope there is a sequel!

I love her character development, she makes you care about the characters. Without that, a writer is just mediocre and she has that gift in spades. I wince at some of the torture scenes. She doesn't over do them, but it is hard for a woman and a mother to read.
