Viral Misery: Book One

This is the newest series by Thomas A. Watson (with his wife Tina). Well written, with believable characters and realistic plot. A fun and enjoyable read, and a bargain at the price. I have all his books, and they keep getting better and better. Try it, you'll like it.

Awesome storyline, and the characters were amazing, and being a typical Tommy book. It made me laugh. Tina Watson you did an outstanding job contributing to this book. The story of the husband and wife trying to survive, not knowing if each other was alive, and saving lots of kids in the process, was one hell of a ride, with lots of suspense, and definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat, from start to finish . Wonderful book, and the ending was great. Can't wait for the 2nd book. Definitely, the best book I've read this year !!!

One knows what to expect from a Thomas Watson book and this one is all the better for having Tina's touch added to it. The reader is soon invested in each character introduced and you can't wait to see what happens to each one. I know I speak for everyone who has read this one when I ask; how soon will we get to read the next one? This one has the thrill of the Blue Plague series without the heavy-handed violence that Bruce dealt out. The characters and scene are so well described; I can almost see Robin running around with nothing on but pink cowboy boots. Can't wait to see how the other storylines develop and merge; especially want to see Wendy and Arthur's son make it home. Hurry up and get busy writing these, you two.

This book will have you laughing, crying, and everything in between. Arthur is a hoot and Wendy is so badass I want to jump in her shoes! I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next one. Tommy, adding Tina to your writing was a most excellent choice! Thank you both for this amazing journey.

I ordered this book because it had five stars and the subject matter is one I enjoy reading about. I mostly read Science Fiction. This is by far the worst book I have ever read. It's propaganda and it's written for a twelve year old. This is the first review I have ever done in my 50 years of reading Science Fiction.

Thomas Watson has been a published author for a long time but this is the first time teaming up with his wife Tina and all I can say is "What took you guys so long?" I love this book with it's lovable characters, action and the emotional ride it takes you on.
Arthur and Wendy are quite content living mostly off the grid on their farm with their pets, livestock, weapons, making their own clothes and occasionally pulling part time nursing shifts at the hospital. Wendy is away on a ladies vacation on a cruise ship when the bird flu virus begins and people start dropping like flies. Millions die, some get the flu but recover, others are driven crazy and for some unknown reason many of the survivors are children.
Arthur checks on his young neighbours and saves their little baby Nichole, needing formula and diapers he heads to town and ends up rescuing many more children. Meanwhile Wendy has escaped from the cruise ship with young children she has saved.
Arthur with the help of the children fortifies the farm against marauding gangs of cruel and nasty survivors while Wendy begins her long and danger filled trek home.
This compelling story of survival against the odds is a must read. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this awesome series.

Thomas Watson, and Tina Watson come together, to put out, a heartfelt, action packed adventure that I could not put down. It seriously left me yearning for the next book in the series. It was first and foremost, an excellent plot. Secondly, they wrote in a cast of characters, that you can not help but love. And lastly, the trial and tribulations that the two main characters go through, simply trying to survive, and get home, make for such quality reading, that I seriously, could not put this book down. I NEED part two... Amazing story, well told, gripping, and heart warming, all at the same time.

Amazing book. I've read other books that Tommy wrote and they're great but I wanted to read what Tina wrote. And I loved it! I am now waiting impatiently for a sequel! haha. Post apoc is my favorite genre especially the more realistic kind such as this. I got my post apoc fix fulfilled now. In fact we were going to a BBQ over the weekend but I was so into this book I almost faked being sick so I could stay home and finish it.
I love the character of Sarah.Can't wait for the sequel.

Thomas Watson is an outstanding author on his own, and now he finally teamed up with his wife, Tina. Together these to have come up with an epic story, that I hope will continue through many more books.
Great character's with plenty of action. Arthur and Wendy are the type of people that I would want to hook up with if something every happened. The kids that they saved and collected are lucky to have found such caring people in this story.
I can't wait for their next book.

Fantastic story, amazing characters, terrifying situations!

This combined effort by Thomas and Tina Watson is a realistic and sobering read. Could this happen in our lifetimes? A fully engrossing story that barely lets the reader up for air. Outstandingly well done!
