To Wed the Widow doesn't follow the normal formula of historical love stories. One can't tell whom is the villain and whom is the victim right away. It allows the reader to form opinions without being spoon fed what to think. It's quite refreshing and unexpected. It's ally enjoyed this book.

An amusing regency romance with a serious side. The pull of duty and how it effects a whole family when the future depends on sons is the antagonist in this tale. Told without the explicit scenes so often present the author presents an enjoyable tale with an appropriately happy ending.

I loved this book, it was gentle and exciting with lots of twists. A true regency romance without 15 pages of graphic sex. Three forth through the book I could not stand the suspense anymore and had to read the last 2 chapters to see whom he married. I will read this book again and again.

I enjoyed this story very much. It was well written thus making the story line easy to follow. The author drew the reader in and allowed us to experience her characters many emotions. The story had intrigue, suspense, some violence, some sexual content, hatred, and romance.

She was still young, blonde, and beautiful. But men were afraid of her. They did not want to be the 6th dead husband. But now she was going to the balls and enjoying dancing. Would everyone ignore her? It was just a while before the countess came to her for advice

Witty and fun dialogue, loyal servants and pets, battle of the sexes misunderstandings, lovers being held hostage by the societal dictates of the ton, and villainous villains all carefully crafted into a wonderful story. Read this in one sitting, it was so good!

Refreshing to read a tale of redemption. The author skillfully engaged us to reveal the grief of the beauteous widow, who had lost hope of ever producing a family, as one after another the husbands expired. She suffers scorn by society, until the brother of an Earl finds himself her champion. Loved the journey.

Filled with conflict and tension, this very well written romance is a riveting tale that draws the reader in from page one. I highly recommend for anyone who appreciates well drawn characters and a fluid style.

After reading the first two stories in this series I was excited to read this one as well. I very much enjoyed the depth of character each role was given.....even Retribution. Enjoyed not having explicit scenes to skip over such was in the first book. As always a happy ending after much trepidation was thoroughly pleasing.

Very good story. I felt for the characters and got lost in the story. The plot was interesting if a little unbelievable but captivating all the same. The characters, main and secondary were well developed. Story will make you smile and cheer for the inevitable happy ending.

The struggles between two brothers,different from each other and the women they love. This is a wonderful story of the search to love,heal and happiness. I loved the characters and look forward to more of Ms. BRYCE
novels.

This is a very entertaining book. It's funny and sad with a happy ending. It really has two stories in it. The story of George and Elinor Will keep you reading till the end. And the extra story of Sebastian and Flora is great.

Megan Bryce seduces the reader from the very beginning. I read to escape to a world of happy endings where the light of goodness ever triumphs over the darkness of selfishness. This story is the best of such escapes!

Not your expected Regency romance, author Megan Bryce has penned a great read with several unexpected twists and charming turns. She deals with areas of pain for many a marriage and gives us a noble hero and heroine whose sacrifices are full of reward. Thoroughly enjoyable, it kept me fully engaged to the very end. Not gratuitous, it's a great romantic tale!

A Love story that brings all the elements together - made for each other lovers , the evil relative, the closely knit family, and the impossible situation. It all comes together in a most satisfying way.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The plot was interesting and the narrative was logical and well written. Lots of romance without being ultra graphic and sensational. Will consider other titles by this author

Such a wonderful book. I never knew what would happen, whether there was going to be happiness or despair. A truly lovely story. One that teaches as well as entertains. A book that makes you think, hope, cry and take a look at your own life.
