Though each family member is flawed, each has one virtue-a love of family. Family is not only those through blood-line. These themes make this novel a realistic portrait of the real families of today we all desire and strive for.

Elin Hilderbrand is fantastic in everything she writes, but I am obsessed with this family she continues to visit around the holidays. I buzz through it so quickly, it's just easy to read and sucks you in. It's become a tradition and I hope she keeps it up!
