An awesome well written fairytale based read! Lots of action, adventure, magic & danger! You will also meet lots of magical creatures dive as ogres, trolls & talking animals! I can't wait to read more in this series.

I received this book for free. I admit that my initial thought was that this was another lame Cinderella remake. I am glad that I did not quit reading. This turned out to be an interesting book and a good read. What was originally a turn off for me quickly turned into a like-able story reminiscent of "Into the Woods" with the mixture of fairy tell characters and new story. Overall, I enjoyed the story and think this is going to be a pretty good adventure going forward.

First off, I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.
This ended up being a fairly decent book after an odd start, at fist I thought it was just another reselling on Cinderella, but it was more than that by the end. It takes place in a kingdom that has outlawed magical people... yet neatly have of the people Rilla meets on her trip are magical in some way, there were several fairy tales referenced in the course of the book, but unfortunately I wasn't able to place all of them, they were just obvious enough to tell me that there was some other fairy tale character at that point.
I would have given this book more stars, but it was really not a complete story, it didn't quite end on a cliffhanger, but it came close.

The Megastaff was a great, well-written, enjoyable story. Not your typical Cinderella fairytale. Ends in a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to read the next one. Received an ARC and I’m leaving voluntary review.

This was a fun fast paced book. We can always use a new hero but doubly so when that hero turns out to be a girl! Cindrilla is the misfit heroine that girls today need! She is the example of how to stand up for yourself that we all need.

I found myself aggravated with the main character and confused st the random fairy tale characters popping up for only a moment. Some dont really push the plot forward... at least not in book one.
However, there is enough intrigue and confusion as to what's happening to make me continue the series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I’m not surprised that I really liked this book. It’s right up my alley with the fairytale references, strong heroine and fantasy adventure.
