I enjoyed this book a lot. Different but interesting concept on this subject. I have often thought how a person might deal with knowing you are the child of a very bad person. Obviously, very difficult.

Whilst the storyline was OK, it was obviously padded out to increase the size of the book which made it repetitive and exasperating with little progress in the story over many many chapters. I like to read every page in my books but this one really did force me to skip a lot of it and I did not lose any of the plot by doing so.

I would absolutely hate the idea of what happened to the woman in this story, to happen to me or anyone I knew, much less anyone I cared about (like family members, I mean). I was on the edge of my seat!

After reading a few of this author's other books, I had higher hopes for this one. The premise was interesting, but never really went any where. The majority of the book revolved around the main character either talking to her shrink trying to rationalize her situation and feelings or talking on the phone. The characters were one-dimensional and dull. Relationships are strained, but never really explained why. The "twist" was predictable. I was bored of this book quickly.

Now my second book of Chevy Stevens. She keeps you on your toes throughout the novel. This book was so addicting, I moved back and forth from my kindle reader to the audible app, so I could be immersed in the story with every free moment I had while reading it, from start to finish.

Chevy Stevens is very good at getting the reader enthralled in the story. Very hard to put the book down. Anticipation waiting for the next climax to unfold. Chevy keeps your mind ticking over as the characters go through the dramas of the book "Never Knowing" Worth a read.

This is the second book by Chevy Stevens. Her very first book Still Missing was a NY Times Best Seller. This is quite impressive for a first time writer. It was so good that I couldn't wait to read the second one, Never Knowing. Just as brilliant. I am anxiously awaiting her third book, due out this year. She is an impressive writer with a genius imagination! A must read!

Wow, what a great read! Chevy Stevens is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I love the fast pacing and unexpected twists, and the way she keeps me engrossed until the bitter end.

MINI SPOILERS:
Never Knowing is no exception, and it's a unique concept of story-telling, in that the narrative is told by the protagonist in therapy sessions. The problem was, though, at just when I was super scared for Sara, but then I got totally deflated bc I remembered the entire premise was that she was going back to tell the psychiatrist about her tribulations: basically, the element of worry over Sara's wellbeing (and, more importantly, her life) is lessened by the fact that we KNOW she lived because we're hearing her tell the story after the fact. That's literally the only thing I would change about the book, if there was a way to make that possible. Until I had that realization I was TOTALLY hooked, but when I made that realization that she was clearly still alive, it bummed me out a little, like I had peeked at the ending and didn't have any more surprises. Seriously though just one minor criticism: the book is so great that I devoured it in two days (and I'm I slow reader). Bravo, Chevy!

I bought everything I could find by Chevy Stevens after reading Still Missing. This was the second book by this author that I read. I wished that I could just put it down and forget about it. Once I start a book I have to finish it. I felt like a was listening to a song stuck on repeat. Same thing over and over and over until mercifully It reached a way too predictable and underwhelming end. I'm so glad to be done with it. I will read another by Chevy Stevens but it's gonna be a good long while. I'm amazed so many gave this one rave reviews. I would skip this one.
