The Xoe Meyers Trilogy was a pretty good YA read. The characters are believable even with the fantasy elements. It's a quick, fun read. There are some grammatical errors, but overall, an interesting story line. I wish the rest of the books were free. I'd read them!

Although slightly slow to get into, once I got past the first chapter, the book had me hooked. What a cliff hanger at the end of book 3. Now I have to buy the rest of the books to see how the story pans out.

This book was absolutely amazing. I loved this book so much and could not put the first three down. This book was one of the best books I have ever read. I do recommend this for anybody who is looking to read this book.

I give this series a 5 start rating because it was one of those books that you can't put down. And that goes for all three books. It was non stop action and it gives the reader the impression that they are there in the flesh along with the characters. Love it!!!

Awesome read, full of supernatural drama, a few spelling errors but could easily pass them over as books had the means to bring you in and make it a wonderful read. It is full of teen angst and troubles on top of the supernatural problems

I enjoyed this set. It had a good writing style, conflict, some romance, and more. Why a 4? I wanted to give a 3.5, but half stars aren't allowed. There were bits I wasn't thrilled about, but nothing too bad. I rate fairly harshly. Mainly because I don't think most of these books could compare to the greats, the classics. Those few that do get a 5. I'm looking forward to the next book.

What a lot of fun this series is. Happy to have added this to my library. Non-stop action from beginning to end. To top it off, it's cleanly written. Imagine that.....and author who tells such an interesting story and doesn't need to use foul language and sex to do it. Cudos to Sara Roethle for that!!!

There are some flaws in punctuation, grammar and spelling. It does not detract from the story.

I'm not sure where to start. I enjoyed these books. Ok I love snarky lead characters with attitude. But sometimes too much attitude is too much. I get what Zoe is. I just don't understand why it's continual. That aside I really a loving this series. I will definitely read more. I just hope she lightens up some.

xoe: cute beginning to the series. had a long start up, lots of teen angst. descriptions of things, rooms, people, etc were very long, almost winded. 3.5 to 4 stars.
accidental ashes: I enjoyed this book much more than the first. There was more action, definitely but that isn't why. It wasn't as slow, plodding and wordy. I missed the strong-female-not-relying-on-male vibe that Xoe had before but we all change in a relationship and this was minor. I absolutely look forward to continuing this series. 5 stars
broken beasts: another very enjoyable addition to the series. we meet more of the supernatural community in this book and it is a whirlwind of political drama. also humorous. 5 stars

First book, you meet Xoe, her mom, her friends Lucy and Allison. Learn a out her life and that she was abandoned by her father before she was born (or was she). Then at school a new student appears his name is Dan. He creeps Xoe out. He seems to be always watching her and then he starts paying lots of attention to Lucy. At the same time Xoe meets a guy she feels comfortable with immediately. Read the book ;))

Second and third books follow Xoe and her friends through lots of adventures, but I will give away too many spoilers if I say much more.

So, read and enjoy.

I do not like to let too many details out in these reviews. Let it be said that Zoe is not whom she thinks she is and neither will be her friends. With that said, the storyline develops over the three books and goes back and forth enough times to keep you interested and not knowing what is going to happen next. There are werewolves, vampires, demons, humans and some other very powerful entities involved before the end of the storyline. I found it fun, suspenseful and well worth the read.

Talk about a Awesome Series that I enjoyed reading. The 3 books, could easily have been one long book, but I understand why she would publish them like this. This story was a little young for me, but I really enjoyed it anyway. The characters are fun & interesting and the story line keeps your attention. I read this in one sitting and don't regret a minute. Can't wait to read the next. A BIG Thanks goes to Sara C. Roethle for writing such a wonderful story and sharing it with us.

This is not the same old, tired vampire-werewolf story. It is most entertaining and I loved all the characters. They are each very different and believable. The only thing I didn't like is how rushed the endings are. It's like, 'well, we're done here' in the last chapter, then The End. Overall though, these are quite good.

As the header says the book was entertaining which means it wasn't bad we get some fun characters and the plot is interesting my problem was with the main lead it feels like there were some designs flaws she seems strong at one point then weak the next smart and dumb and so on not really sure I'm gonna read the fourth book

I really enjoyed reading about Xoe and her friends. The characters were well developed and the story lines were interesting and refreshing. I look forward to reading more in the future and the half demon girl and her friends, family, and enemies and more adventures.
