Sawyer ran from her terrifying, zealot father in hopes of finding out something about the outside world her mother shared with her when she passed. She had keys, some money, and a rough idea of where to go. Once in the Outskirts she finds something she never knew existed; friendship, love, and a makeshift family in Finn, Josh, Miller, and Critter. She's found happiness in this new life, but all of that is threatened when her old community brings its teaching to the small town and with it all her past she thought she'd left behind. With some of the past comes good, but she won't get to enjoy it as long as her father is out to get her back. Sawyer knows Finn will do anything to protect her though, they have found a love that is meant to be and no past hurt and lies will keep them from a future.

"My heart fluttered in my chest like it grew wings and was trying to escape."

The Outliers shifts the focus from the first release, The Outskirts, from Sawyer and her escape to a complex story about family and friendships. We learn much about Sawyer's mother, her father, and her past that is built upon lives meant to protect her. We also get a glimpse into how much Sawyer is changed by the events from her childhood and her new reality, we see her learning and changing as her friends share with her and as she discovers love with Finn. Finn is still a total heartthrob, showing us that the brooding boy we first met really just needed to right girl to bring him back into the land of the living. He has his heart on his sleeve with Sawyer and their romance and sweet, over-the-top love story is something to envy. There are a lot of twists in this book, there has to be with a history like Sawyer has, but there are a lot of great surprises too. There is so much going on though, it's the sort of duet that reads like an extra long single novel and it's worth reading all at one time.

"And the day of reckoning was here."

I tried to really give The Outliers my entire attention, but it's an easy book to skim even with its unique story line. It felt rushed, like parts of it belongs to the first release in the duet, The Outskirts, and like the rest was added in to turn it into a duet. There were so many moments that could have been built on, but so much was going on that what could have been important slipped into the cracks and odd moments and chapters found their way onto the pages instead. The romance between Finn and Sawyer is fierce, the loyalty between mother and daughter, friends, and family is such a great part of the story, but neither gets the development they deserve. Ultimately, I wish I'd read these books back to back, waiting for the release of both, because it might have felt more cohesive all together.

"Your eyes give you away, Sawyer. They always have."

The Outskirts Duet is a perfect example of T.M. Frazier's ability to come up with a romance novel that is gripping and unique, featuring characters and story lines that aren't in every other book on the market. Finn and Sawyer are the sort of characters you will come to care for like friends, you'll spend every page hoping for all the dreams they have to come true. The writing is passionate, the story is fresh, and the entire duet is out now so you won't have to wait impatiently like I did.

The conclusion to The Outskirts duet is a twisty, emotional swoonfest. Definitely not a standalone, this book picks the story immediately, with Finn and Sawyer dealing with the big reveals from the end of the first book, and fighting to protect the future that they so desperately want together

In order to avoid spoilers I won’t go into detail, but after finding safety, a long-awaited home and an unexpected, all-consuming love in the town of Outskirts, Sawyer’s life has been turned upside down by revelations from the past. And when danger lurks once again, she is faced with the choice of running to safety again, or staying to fight her demons once and for all.

It’s no surprise what choice she makes, and by her side is Finn. Gorgeous, damaged, broody, reborn-by-love, Finn, whose love for his girl left me absolute swooning as he stands by her side through all of the turmoil.

I loved Sawyer’s journey in the first book, and this book continues that as we get to see her further let go of the once-lost girl that she was and embrace who she is now, finding her feet and fighting for what she wants She still has a lot to learn and she’s figuring it all out, and I loved that she opens herself up and takes it all in, and never is that more evident than watching the further development of her relationship with Finn.

Oh hell yes, there is lots of hotness to be had! Finn is a dirty talker with the moves to back up his filthy words, and the sexy time is seriously hot, and a wonderful reflection of the emotion and intensity of the love story.

I like the direction that the story took. There are some surprises along the way, and one storyline in particular really pulled at my heartstrings, and I love that we got to explore that in such beautiful, heartwrenching detail. Other parts of the book were more predictable, and it didn’t really have the level of intensity or excitement that I was hoping for, but I like the way it all played out, and I loved how the strong focus on the love story was maintained throughout. Oh, and a quick shout out to Josh and Miller, who brought some laughs and provided some very welcome comedic relief in the midst of all of the turmoil.

This is a great finish for Finn and Sawyer’s story, with all loose ends tied up and the book providing a wonderful sense of closure for two people who so desperately deserve their happy ending.

I was sooo ready to get back to the small town of Outskirts and revisit Finn and Sawyer – but also Critter, Josh and Miller. I loved this characters and their tragically beautiful story so, so much – and boy, that first book left me hanging, mouth agape. So many secrets and lies had still to be uncovered, so much betrayal needed to be atoned for… So naturally, THE OUTSKIRTS, the conclusion to this duet, couldn’t come soon enough!

Sawyer Dixon has lived a sheltered, yet not, life in the past. She barely knew nothing about the outside world and was as gullible as they come when she met Finn – scared and dependent. She was still adjusting, when she was thrown for the loop of her lifetime…

In this book we continue to see Sawyer grow, adjust and evolve, how she becomes so much stronger and more independent, how she handles the cards she has been dealt and starts to take matters into her own hands, facing her enemy and with that her biggest fear, all while reconnecting with important people of her past and falling deeper and irrevocably in love with Finn. All of that was amazing and rewarding to see, and I cheered her on!

And Finn… As damaged and broken as he has been in the first book, now that Sawyer has helped him heal, he is nothing but strong and protective and simply Sawyer’s rock, all while granting her the freedom she needs. Every little bit I learned about him – the sunflowers! – had me loving him even more.

These two together were magnificent and strong, their connection powerful and just perfectly right.

As much as I adored Sawyer and Finn as a couple, loved watching them grow, with the madness in which things ended in the previous book, I just expected… more. More heart-palpitating, jaw-dropping moments, more angst, more shocking twists and turns than the smaller ones that were expertly interwoven into the storyline (Critter! I wouldn’t have thought you had it in you!).

That being said, it is an absolutely amazing and sexy journey, with an absolutely stunning ending for our couple, which I highly recommend to go on.

'The Outliers' is a fantastic follow-up to 'The Outskirts'. This picks up immediately where Outskirts left off with Sawyer finding out the truth about her mother and her past in Outskirts. With that revelation, Sawyer learns that she has a chance to finally have a real family but in order to do that, she must completely break free from her cult leader father. With Finn, her newfound friends and family by her side, she learns to reclaim her life and live that life to the fullest. All of that will be put on hold though once they learn that her father and his cult are getting closer to the Outskirts and the madman wants his family back by any means necessary.

I definitely enjoyed this much more than the previous one because this has very little of the problems I had with Outskirts. The story flowed better and there were fewer technical (grammar, typo) issues. What I liked the most is that Sawyer and Finn were together throughout the entire book. There were no unnecessary drama, angst, or stupid crap that came between them. The book is Sawyer and Finn loving each other and fighting for their future together. It's so refreshing to see that when it's so easy for the author to give in to the temptation to put some unnecessary drama between them. Sawyer is more enjoyable here because she's much tougher. I still enjoy those moments of naivety in her (like the Be-yon-chee part and the the birds and bees talk with Josh) and I liked that it didn't just completely go away. Finn is also much better here. Except for one thing (which I will talk about later), he wasn't the controlling a-hole that he was in the previous book. Sure he is still very protective of Finn but let's just say that he is more reasonable and he lets Sawyer make up her own mind. The only thing I hated about him is how he never used (or at least offered) protection when he knows that Sawyer is too sheltered to know the consequences of unprotected sex. I don't usually mind unprotected sex in books but I thought it was such a dick move on his part because in this context, Sawyer doesn't even know how babies are made... He knew that she didn't know and yet he never made any effort to inform her. Like what I said, total dick move. I love Josh and Miller and I kinda wish that they have bigger parts here but who knows... Maybe there's a spin off plan for them? I also liked how the story dealt with Jackie. I will admit that my theories about her were so ridiculously far off but I still liked how it was handled. The history of Sawyer's name is also another thing that I thought was too cute.

Anyway, this was a fantastic conclusion and it definitely elevated my overall opinion of the duet.

“I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

HOLY FREAKING AMAZEBALLS!! The conclusion to The Outskirts Duet by T.M. Frazier was breathtaking!

After that JAWDROPPING cliffy at the end of book one where Sawyer’s world imploded when a ghost from her past strolls into CRITTER’S bar, I have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on book 2! I had so many pent up feelings roiling through me, so many unanswered questions clanging around in my mindboggled brain, and I was DESPERATE for closure!!!!!!

Well, I am delighted to report I got my answers, all the loose ends were tied up in a perfectly ornate bow, and omggggg the second chapter in the angsty, unforgettable love story of Sawyer Dixon and Finn Hollis was everything I could have dreamed of AND THEN SOME. I am keeping this unabashedly gushy review strictly spoiler-free so there will be zero plot related elements spilled, but suffice it to say, THE OUTLIERS picks up right where THE OUTSKIRTS left off and I stayed up ALL NIGHT binge reading this UBER ADDICTIVE, ANGSTY, SWOONY, UTTERLY SENSATIONAL novel, and clung to each gorgeously crafted word as if my life depended on it!!!!!!

Just like with book one, in THE OUTLIERS I was totally swept up in T.M. Frazier’s exhilarating storyline, her resplendent prose, her beloved, beautifully flawed characters, the gripping suspense, the scorching hot interludes and the SHEER MAJESTY OF IT ALL. Each and every moment in the ongoing saga of lovebirds Finn and Sawyer, along with their colorful cohorts (Oooooh I looooooved Critter, Miller and Josh HARD!), was pulsating with blistering passion, vibrating with intense emotion, rife with drama and intrigue, and overflowing with #AllTheFeeeeels!

If I thought I adored this couple before...well, guess what? It's FULL-BLOWN WORSHIP now!!!! Finn in all his growly, dominantly sexy, mouthwateringly macho glory left me all aquiver—and Sawyer gives new definition to the term endearingly feisty, gloriously kindhearted sweetheart. She endured so much in her young life and after finally escaping the cruel clutches of her evil, bible-thumping daddy Richard Dixon and finding a true home in the Florida Everglades, I just ached for her to find happiness with her hot, broody ALPHASMEXY man Sawyer who had quite a few crosses to bear himself.

These two are the quintessential book couple for me! Their devotion for one another runs so deep and their destinies are so irrevocably intertwined you cannot bear the thought of them ever being apart for even a millisecond. The once-in-a-lifetime love and red hot lust that blazes between this crazy in love duo was so aching beautiful and powerfully profound it took my friggin breath away!!

There are definitely a few more hurdles for this couple to overcome, mostly pertaining to external forces, but they do it as a UNITED FRONT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. Although I would have personally preferred a little more romantic strife between them in this second installment--they were almost TOO happy (ha-ha!)-- their story arcs come brilliantly full circle by book’s end and I can bask in the sheer splendor of this beloved couple who “started out as outliers, each on the cusp of different societies” found their home, their family, their place in the world IN EACH OTHER’S ARMS.

Bottom line? T.M Frazier penned a RIVETING finale to The Outskirts Duet! The passion was electrifying, the feels were off the charts, and the edge of your seat drama was full throttle from start to finish, finally culminating in a heart-gripping crescendo that left me speechless!!!! So does love triumph over all adversity, does the dastardly Richard Dixon get his just desserts, and most importantly, does everyone truly live blissfully ever after in the sweltering Florida swamplands? You gotta read to find out but prepare to be ENRAPTURED!!!

A life that is full of secrets and sin. It’s the reality that Sawyer is faced with upon the loss of her mother. With a letter as her guide, Sawyer flees her life and heads for the Outskirts. There she learns a little more about a side of her mother that she never knew existed. With an unexpected love in the wings, Sawyer begins to feel like the people in this town are her family. Something that she has longed to feel the embrace of. Then the past comes knocking on the door once more. Threatening all that Sawyer has come to love.

With the ultimate cliff hanger ending in The Outskirts, we pick right up with the story in The Outliers. Sawyer discovers that there is so much about her mother’s life that she never knew. Leading her through sordid secrets and revelations that make her long for a life that she feels cheated from at times.

Through it all, Sawyer turns to Finn for comfort. The beacon of hope that was meant to be in her life. A destiny that only begins to unfold once Sawyer learns more about her mother and the secrets that surrounded her time in the Outskirts. With the threat of ‘punishment’ from her father, Sawyer learn to let Finn be the protector that he so desperately wants to become.

Danger is lurking and the stakes are even higher. Sawyer finds herself struggling with flight or fight. The choice might be easier than Sawyer could have imagined. Love and loss will play a part at putting the sins of the past to rest once and for all.

What a ride!! Sawyer has uncovered so much about her mother. Events, people, and moments that shed a light on the woman that Sawyer never saw in this light. It is a burden and a bubble of happiness all rolled up in one. Finn is definitely coming out of his shell. Shedding his burdens and inhibitions. Creating memories that will heat up the romance between Sawyer and himself. Trust me….Finn knows how to talk dirty and back it up!!

While I want to make sure I don’t give away any of the secrets since they are so iatrical to the plot of this book, I do want to say that the revealing of so many elements in Sawyer’s mothers life in the Outskirts was compelling and thought provoking. To think of all that was lost can only lead you to believe that fate certainly had a part in Sawyer and Finn’s relationship. Their paths have always run parallel to one another, but once they crossed the explosion was one that would be felt for many years to come.

All of the loose ends revolving around Sawyer and Finn will be tied up with a nice red bow. Leaving you with all of the answers you will need to understand the path, the journey, and the end of the road.

TM Frazier could not have developed more symbolic names or more poetic ideas for the titles of the books in her newest duet: The Outskirts and The Outliers. Both terms imply that the setting as well as those who find themselves dwelling in its less than desirable location are hiding from the world and the devastation and destruction that has already rained down on them…but these ‘outsiders’ seem to find their place in this ‘little backward town in the middle of nowhere USA’ because there is always beauty to be found within the muck…there’s always light to be found in the darkness…there’s always love to be found in the least likely of places, especially when it seems hopeless due to the cruelty that has already been endured.

By the end of The Outliers, Sawyer’s education and initiation into the world outside her captivity at the hands of her father has allowed her to truly understand all that she was missing out on and all that she still has to learn. She is still fairly naïve, but it’s that innocence that allows Sawyer to work through all of the ugliness that she has faced and determine that it will no longer hold her down…that it will no longer hinder her from truly living. And with Finn by her side as well as a few other outliers who have become her family…her everything, she’s able to put the past behind her and look to a much fuller and happier future. That’s not to say that she doesn’t have setbacks and that her past doesn’t find a way to put her present in chaos, but her new outlook and life’s revelations have allowed her a way to see beyond her fear and fight against the demons that threaten to destroy what she has built in the Outskirts.

Finn, in a way, is reborn through his love and need to protect Sawyer. His past is just as heartbreaking, but he can see passed it because Sawyer offers him a way into the light, and because of that gift, Finn opens up and finds himself a little on the outside. In a way, though, I feel like Finn takes on more of a secondary role in book two because it’s Sawyer’s past that has to be dealt with and it seems kind of fitting that Sawyer is allowed to spread her wings a bit and find her way. I’m not saying that Finn is in any way less important in book two because he’s not, but Sawyer is at the forefront of The Outliers, which feels right given everything that had to be dealt with concerning the world she fled.

Love fiercely. Love possessively. Love crazily. Love always.

That’s the lesson that the characters of The Outskirts Duet and its readers learn through everything that is revealed and all that unfolds in book two. And, while the second part of Sawyer and Finn’s story is not as twisted or unhinged as what TM Frazier usually writes, the plot line as well as the way things are handled seem to fit the point in their lives these characters have reached and what’s truly important when it comes to moving forward and feeling more whole than they’ve ever felt before.

Sawyer and Finn both went from merely existing to truly living and fighting for a forever with each other, which proves that even those who live on the outer edges and feel detached and different from everyone else deserve a life filled with love and family and they’ll fight dirty if it means that their life gets a little lighter amidst the darkness and murkiness of their humble lifestyles.

I willingly reviewed this book.

So, we finally have the sequel to The Outskirts. The first book didn’t exactly finish in a cliffhanger because we did have our HEA, but there was unfinished business with Sawyer’s father, the evil Richard Dixon. He was a menace about to happen because his church was about to hit town and there was no doubt in Sawyer’s mind that it was deliberate, and he would come looking for her.

There was another huge surprise at the end of The Outskirts, and that was that Sawyer’s mom, Caroline was alive and that’s where we the readers were left hanging. And that’s where this book starts. Her mother had been alive and living in Critter’s home all this time. Sawyer didn’t know whether to be happy, angry or sad. But that was her mom right in front, so she couldn’t help but go give her a hug. Except, her mom wasn’t behaving right. Turned out, all her tribulations had affected her mind and she was suffering from some kind of PTSD and her mind was not all there all the time, but reverted back to twenty years ago.

In this book, Sawyer and Finn are already an established couple, so the plot deals mostly with Sawyer reconnecting with her mother and learning who exactly was Richard Dixon and how it all related. In a rare moment of clarity, Caroline told Sawyer her whole story, from being raised on the church, promised to Richard, escaping to the Outskirts and meeting Critter. Everything Sawyer thought she knew about herself turned out to be a lie, that her mother perpetrated to keep Sawyer safe while living in the church community. Even Sawyer’s name is related to the Outskirts. There’s a lot of information given to Sawyer, enough to overwhelm anyone.

The Church of Light finally arrives in town and Sawyer and Caroline are heavily guarded by Finn, Critter and all their friends Josh and Miller. One woman from the church, the only person Sawyer considered a friend within the church, makes contact with Sawyer and leaves her a strange clue related to Richard Dixon. Sawyer wanted to help her get out but she remained loyal to her husband, even with the abuse.

sI don’t want to spoil the action in this book. Suffice to say that Finn and Sawyer get closer as a couple, Sawyer learns about her true parentage, and faces the danger that Richard Dixon presents. They surge stronger at the end, and everyone is together and happy, the end.

The book was riveting and suspenseful. With every page turn, I expected the bad guy to pounce, so I kept turning pages fast. Everything, and I mean everything is connected at the end, even names, the author did a great job in all the inter-connections. There was a great scene I liked where Miller was sick and Josh was taking care of him that was hilarious. Miller was such a whiney baby. With tender scenes, sexy scenes, funny scenes, the author wrote a book that was very entertaining. I told my daughter about the plot of the story and she said it sounded very far-fetched. And yet, the author made it sound so normal and real, I guess this is the gift of writers, make a far-fetched story sound believable and have us enjoy it.

Note: This is the second part of the story that started in The Outskirts. If you haven't read book one yet you should or you may be a bit lost. Slight spoilers for book one ahead

The Outliers was another sweet read. Oh, Sawyer and Finn are perfect for each other! If you have read the first book you know some things will go down in this one, some things Sawyer never saw coming, and I was so glad that she has someone like Finn to be there for her and help support her. To give her that love and compassion in the hard times. They are great together.

At the end of the last book some ghosts came back into Sawyers life. People she never thought she would see again. I was really curious how this all would play out. How these people came to be back where Sawyer is and how it all worked. I was still expecting more of an intense, terrible situations plotline like the author's other books, but again this was a nice, sweet story. Not that there are not the bad part, bad people, bad things that happen, but it is not the same level. And I loved it.

Sawyer has a lot to work through. A lot of things she is thinking about. Now that she can do whatever she wants, now that she can learn and experience and explore she is a bit overwhelmed. But Finn is there for her every step of the way. He is there to talk things through and see where she may want to go from here. He was amazing. I loved Finn. Considering his past I did think he may get a bit too overprotective when some bad people come to town and Sawyer may be in trouble, but while he did do what he could to keep her safe he also let her be her.

Sawyer is one of the strongest people. When she runs into a girl from her old church, a girl who lived as she did before she escaped, she does what she can to help her. Not that she necessarily wants the help, but she doesn't shy away from doing what is right even if it is a bit scary. She is amazing. I was so happy to see her get her happily ever after. To watch her work her way through everything obstacle life put in her way and see her come out the other side better for it. This book was a great read, but then again I always love this authors books.

After the huge cliffy we were left with at the end of The Outskirts, I couldn’t wait to see what would transpire next. I was one of the many who was eager to get my hands on part two of The Outskirts duet. And what was I most excited about? Getting the chance to see my sweet honey Finn again. He definitely didn’t disappoint!!

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

This story was intricate and multi-layered. It delved into the reunion of family, the complexities of friendship, the bond between those that love and are loved, and the further development of the everlasting love that existed between Finn and Sawyer. She was still trying to find her way in her new life with her first taste of freedom and Finn was only too happy to go along for the ride. I adored him for the lengths he was willing to go to ensure her happiness. Finn was still the winner of my heart in this story. I respected the heck out of both Sawyer and Caroline, not only for surviving but for their strength in forging a new path and for embracing and accepting a past they could not change. I loved getting to see more of Josh and Miller because they were always good for a laugh. But most of all, I just loved the love that oozed from the pages of this book.

I really wanted to give this book five stars. I really did. So why didn’t I? Well… it’s going to sound real petty in the grand scheme of things, but… Jackie’s name was mentioned 19 times (yes, I freaking counted!). And for me, that was 19 times too many. Especially when by the end she might as well have been nominated for sainthood. Am I missing something? Because in book one there wasn’t much to like about her other than me feeling sympathy for Finn’s pain over her loss. What happened? I’m also not a huge fan over the way this duet ended. It felt off. Again, this may be a “me” problem, but it felt rushed and lacked the passion I’ve come to expect from this author. Especially because this story evoked so much passion and compassion from me. I wanted something that felt complete and left me satisfied with saying goodbye to these characters once and for all and I didn’t really get that.

Would I recommend this book? Heck yeah I would. READ THIS DUET!! I’ll read anything by T.M. Frazier, as evidenced by all of her books on my bookshelves ;) So I say go ahead and read because I can guarantee you’ll fall in love with Finn and Sawyer as easily as I did!

Reviewed on behalf of The Book Boyfriend Addict. A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.

"Say," I said, pulling away so I could look in her eyes. "You have me. Don't you know by now that I'd do anything for you? When the world gets heavy on your shoulders I'll carry the weight for you. I'll be there. I'm not going anywhere. Not now. Not ever."

Here we are at the conclusion of Sawyer and Finn’s story! If you recall from reading The Outskirts that things got off to a rocky start for these two when Sawyer, after just having escaped her controlling father and the religious sect that they belonged to, shows up and parks her trailer mere yards from the cabin that Finn’s secluded himself to for the past few years. It didn’t take long for passions to ignite between them, making the swamp they live in a heck of a lot hotter. As these two explore their unexpected connection, Sawyer’s past is catching up to them and threatens everything good they’ve managed to find in one another.

"You want religion?" Finn pushed back a lock of my hair. "Then I'll get on my knees and worship you for the rest of my life. You want to save someone? You've already done it. You saved me. You want heaven?" His hand skated up the back of my skirt. I shivered. His deep voice hummed in my ear. "I'll take you there right now."

This book picks up immediately after the doozy of a cliffhanger from the first book. We knew it was just a matter of time before Sawyer’s past comes for them and that’s what we get in this book. Her and Finn are deeply in love and looking forward to a happy future, one that they both deserve after all they’ve endured but before they can do that they must find a way to free themselves once and for all. I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet this book was, if you thought Finn was full of swoon before, just wait until you read this one. I really loved him and Sawyer together, he was so different than the man we first met and it just highlighted how far he fell from who he truly was when he holed himself away in that swamp all those years ago. Seeing the wonderful, caring, protective, and sweet man that emerged, was truly heartwarming. We also go to see Sawyer’s inner strength shine throughout this one. I loved the contrast between her innocence and her ability to stand up for those she loved. Things do get a touch suspenseful once things finally come to a head, but as a whole this was a wonderfully romantic story that was a great conclusion to this duet. Seeing how everything tied together and just how truly meant to be Sawyer and Finn we was very sweet and of course, spending time with all of our favorite secondary characters was a real treat!

'I was no longer Sawyer, the girl running from her past. I was Sawyer, the girl from The Outskirts.
A true outlier just like the rest of them.'

With the conclusion to The Outskirts Duet, T.M. Frazier gives readers everything they will expect and want from the story of Sawyer and Finn with The Outliers.

The evolution of Sawyer's character continues with this book, and readers end up seeing a stronger more independent heroine. Watching her reconnect with people from her past, take on the church that left her damaged, and face her biggest enemy is rewarding. More than that, though, is finally getting to see Sawyer's HEA. This is a woman who has fought for every single thing in her life, and readers will desperately want her to see success and see those who have harmed her get well-deserved justice.

Finn continues to be the kind and protective hero he evolved into during book one of this duet. The one aspect that I do love about him, though, is that he seems to have the perfect balance of protecting Sawyer while also giving her the freedom she needs. He isn't the hero that saves her, he is the hero that supports her, and that makes him one of my favorite types of male protagonists.

The story, for me, followed the plot line I expected. There are no twists, turns, or surprise revelations, which is unexpected in a T.M. Frazier novel, and ultimately, this is what makes me give it a four star rating. Maybe that is unfair to the author as writers can grow and evolve, but after reading all 10 books that have been published by this author, I had certain expectations walking into the book that weren't met. The writing is still good, the characters are likable, and the story entertaining, but it lacked that certain Frazier quality that makes me love her books, devour her story lines, and obsess over her anti-heroes.

Even though I didn't personally love this duet, I would still recommend it to other romance lovers, especially readers that have wanted to try her books and may have been hesitant due to the violence of the anti-heroes and story-lines. With this duet, readers still get an interesting romance that will capture their attention, but they will also be intrigued by the end and the return of a certain character and the glimpse into the next story.

Voluntarily read an early copy.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING….I thought T.M. Frazier blew me away with Outskirts, but she proved me COMPLETELY wrong. The Outliers is one of my all-time favorite reads just as the first book was, and it’s also the top read so far of 2017 for me. I’m just speechless….
I won’t give much away in the plot or spoil anything from the first book, but this picks up right where Book 1 ended. Secrets will be revealed and danger is coming to town. I just fell more in love with Finn and Sawyer. Finn not only protects Sawyer, but he also assures her of her own strength.

“And no one could break you. No one. You’re far too strong to be broken by weak minded people. Look at all you’ve been through and how far you’ve come.”

I saw a completely different side to Sawyer. She is definitely not the scared, unsure woman she was when I first met her in The Outskirts. She is a “damsel and a knight.” Despite the pain she and Finn faced, they never let it determine how they felt about each other and other people in Outskirts. She and Finn have both grown in ways I never imagined.

T.M. Frazier has a magical gift of telling a story. This duet delved way below the surface of being a romance. It came full-circle, and I love when a book does that. She also addressed the issue of faith, and it was beautiful.

“We focus on the goodness in our hearts because God lives in our hearts, not the details.”

The title, The Outliers, is a perfect choice. Frazier not only tells readers what the definition is, but what it means for Finn and Sawyer. There are just so many details like these that seem small, but they aren’t. They define the characters and the story itself.

One added note…LOVED the bonus scenes…especially Critter’s. AHHH…I love this man!!!!

If you haven’t read this Duet, you SERIOUSLY NEED TO DO IT NOW!!!!!

The Outliers can't be read as a standalone you should read outskirts before going into book two because you'll be a little confused and if you haven't read The Dark light of day you definitely should before or after this one because a certain character from it is mentioned . After finishing Outskirts I couldn't wait to get my greedy hands on the rest of Finn and Sawyer’s story I mean with the way it ended just had me craving more and I wasn't disappointed it takes place right were it left off . Finn and Sawyer are a strong couple they learn day by day how happy they can be with each other and how much they accomplish with some romantic moments splash of sexy times . Sawyer has been through so much but now thanks to the love of a man who would do anything for her , friends that have her back , and a father figure who might be more then what he seems Sawyer blossoms beautifully plus she can be a bit naive but some laughable moments come out of it . Finn is just amazing so alpha sexy and fiercely protective the little but big things he does for the heroine had me swooning . We also in a way get a second love story in the background of whats going on with Finn and Sawyer be it's a second chance love after being separated for two decades was so giddy the romantic in me just happy danced , it would be a third romance if you include Josh and Miller with hilarious banter and shenanigans .

My Review:
4.5 stars!
I loved the conclusion to this story. It starts off where the cliffy leaves us. Sawyer is in shock and panicking, she doesn’t know if she can believe her eyes. Critter needs to help Sawyer and convince her that what she is seeing is real, on top of making Sawyer believe and trust him.
“We cried because we both finally knew the truth. We cried for the time lost between us, we were both crying for her.”
Finn really turned around in this book. It was perfect! I loved watching their relationship evolve and seeing Sawyer evolve more and more has the book went on.
“I don’t know what to believe anymore. It’s scary not having faith, but freeing at the same time.”
There is a scene about faith, Sawyer and Finn are discussing it and I just wanted to applause. It was presented perfectly and I couldn’t agree more.
I really enjoyed learning Critter’s background a little more too and finding out how he and Sawyers mom got to be where they are today.
It wouldn’t be T.M though if she didn’t throw some darkness in there. Sawyer’s dad brings in the dark but so does Critters background. Critter has some pretty amazing talks with Finn too. I was cracking up.
This book has a little bit of everything. There were times it was sweet and romantic, times it was sad, times it gave me anxiety, and times it made me laugh.
I’m really hoping to get a spinoff with some characters, they are too good to let go just yet. We do get a surprise character, so if you’re familiar with her other books you will be happy!
“In The Beginning, Finn and I were just two outliers, each on the cusp of different societies. Together we found our place.”

5 Star Read - Book two of the Outskirts duet. Book one left us with a doozy of a cliffhanger. Something I feel is a superpower from this author. This reviewer does not do spoilers, so you have to read for yourself to have all revealed (haha evil laugh).

What I will tell you is Sawyer maintains her awesomeness in this book. I love her even more. She has such an amazing heart even when major truths are unveiled. You get to experience her becoming part of her community/family. Finn really shows his beautiful but protective side in this story. He is finally letting go of the hurts of his past and embracing this new life and love he has been given. Side note: Steamy and sexy is part of this read so plan for some fan yourself moments.

This story definitely ups the angst. You get some retribution (another thing this author does well, wink wink) which was a LONG time coming in my opinion. I also love the message that a woman can become her own defender and create salvation for herself. Help can also come from the unknown or something greater. Hmmm yep I am talking in riddles(tapping my finger on my chin with a smirk on my face). Another element that was insightful was how religion was discussed, looking at how it can be a powerful source of comfort but also can be used to abuse the weak. Enough said cause you need to read this book to know what I am talking about. I definitely recommend. Happy Reading!!!

“The Adventures of Sawyer and Finn” continue in the Outskirts. Sawyer trying to come terms with the truths unveiled and Finn is finding his place back in society. Love is never simple, whether it be your true love, your parent’s love or your friend’s love… each has a measure of truth and a measure of trust. But one thing is for sure, each has to be nurtured and not taken for granted. Most people don’t get a second chance, but with the support of new found family and friends, everything just falls into place.

Finn knew from the moment he played eyes on Sawyer, that she would be his forever, just as he would be hers. He just needs to show her just what that really means. Between keeping her safe, and showing her how limitless his love is, her strength is stronger with him to help carry the weight.

The Outliers was the perfect ending to the Duet, and I have to say I loved it more than the first. Maybe because it was my happily ever after, maybe because it held the answers to all the questions, or maybe because it righted all the wrongs … who knows? I just know that I just loved how much Finn loved Sawyer, and how their stories were entwined from the start, almost like it was destined. Loved the story and their take on love, fate and forever.

I loved The Outskirts and was really hoping that the second book of this duet would be equally as enthralling. Unfortunately, for me it was not. While I love the main characters, Finn and Sawyer, as well as Critter, Josh and Miller and even Sawyer’s mom, I just had too many issues with the storyline and the writing. I will never let typos affect my opinion of a book, as I know sometimes they can’t be helped, but in this case, when I say writing I just mean the storytelling. It seemed very repetitive in parts and in other areas there were gaping holes in the plot line. I don’t want to state specifics, as I don’t want to give any of the storyline away, but I will just say there was a twist involving Richard that just made no sense to me and seemed very underdeveloped. The storyline overall was ok, but just didn’t grab me the way the first book did; at times I felt like there was drama for the sake of drama, which I just don’t enjoy. However, as I mentioned earlier the characters really stayed with me and I did find myself wanting to know how their story would play out. Sawyer and Finn certainly deserve their HEA and while they have to work to get there, it is definitely worth it. Their dialogue is fun, and I wish the reader could experience more of Finn teaching Sawyer about life in the “real world”. I think that would’ve been fun, as there are so many things that must seem completely foreign and strange to her.
I’ve been a fan of TM Frazier since her first novel, and while this one may not have been my favorite, I am certainly eager to see what she has planned for her readers in the future.

This is the epic conclusion to The Outskirts. Loved this book, T.M. Frazier never disappoints and she delivered an inspiring story of love and family. This book throws some punches, there's action, humor, suspense, romance, and some hot sex. We even get some surprises and some bonus scenes which I loved.

I'm not going to ruin the book and tell anything that happens because everyone needs to go in blind. That being said you should make sure you have read The Outskirts before you read The Outliers or you won't have any clue what is going on. Sawyer and Finn are amazing in this book just like the first and I would love to see them in other books or get like a novella with them. Can we please get a Josh and Miller book???? Pretty pretty please I need more of them in my life.

I loved that this book has a few themes that it follows such as family is the most important and God is love. These people fight so hard to keep their family together throughout this whole book. Every one of these characters has their own obstacles to overcome to reach their happiness. This book isn't just about Sawyer and Finn. The secondary characters have just as much of a major role as they do. This book is about family, love, hope, and faith. That's where the theme of God is love comes in. Sawyer has to overcome what has been forced onto her and find her own faith in whatever that may be. I loved that after all she's been through she still wants to know about religion and God. This is such a powerful story and T.M. Frazier you have did an amazing job telling the story of not only Sawyer and Finn but also Critter and Caroline.

I absolutely love this duet! Yes, duet. So yes, you need to read the first book in this series before diving into this conclusion. I promise you will not regret reading a single page of this thrilling duet. The first book left me hating myself that I read it when it released. Not because it wasn’t a great book but because I had to wait so dang long for the conclusion.

The setting, the characters, the emotions, and the drama are absolutely perfect. I was immediately sucked back into the world of The Outskirts and couldn’t put my Kindle down until I devoured the last word.

Secrets are revealed. Twists pop up at every turn. Family, love, and even humor remain.

Sawyer and Finn’s relationship is so amazing. I love how they grow, teach each other, and overcome every obstacle in their way. They are together, strong and anchored, and that is one of the things I love the most about them and their story. Sometimes it’s nice to have a couple stay bonded and unbreakable when they face so much turmoil.

The secondary characters truly help make this story. They don’t distract from the main characters and plot line but add to it making it, if possible, more emotional. I loved getting to meet new characters that helped both Finn and Sawyer develop allowing for a deeper connection to them.

I can only hope we get a spin-off for Miller and Josh! I love them and hope we get to see more of them in their own story!

Don’t miss out on this great duet! Go grab both parts right now because once you finish the first you’ll be dying to pick up the conclusion!

This book picks up right where book one ended. I couldn’t wait to see how this all ended because talk about a cliffhanger, right? Well, Mrs. Frazier delivers a read that had me sitting at the edge of my seat. There were so many things going on that had me gasping and clutching my kindle a little tighter.

T.M. Frazier certainly didn’t hold back on this one. Sawyer’s strength and courage were certainly put to the test. But the bond and love she and Finn had never wavered. The love between these two has grown immensely and it’s so beautiful to see them grow as individuals and a couple. Finn has done such a drastic change from the beginning of book one. His love for Sawyer has no limits. He’s just so sexy and protective.

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

GAHHH! Yes, Finn!! I love you too boo!! Lol. It’s just so absolutely adorable the way he is with Sawyer. With the dangers lurking in the shadows, the suspense had my heart pounding. This was really such an enjoyable read. A great conclusion to Finn and Sawyer’s journey.

*3.5 Stars*

Outliers is the second book in the duet. It picks up right where book one leaves off. Outskirts must be read to understand Outliers.

Sawyer is living in the Outskirts, a world completely different from the one she grew up in. She is still trying to navigate her way with Finn's help. They continue to grow closer day by day with the threat of Richard's return looming.

I did get a little emotional at the end with the bonus scenes, which I thought was a fantastic addition. I'm glad we got to see just a bit more past The End.

Personally this one dragged a little for me. I was still extremely interested in seeing what happens to Finn and Sawyer but for some reason it just didn't hold my attention as much as the first book. Not to say it's not a good read but book one had me flying through the pages.

I can't wait for Up In Smoke after that little tease at the end!!

What an amazing grand finale to this stellar duet! Finn and Sawyer’s story will stay with me for a long while.

This book takes off right at the end of book one. Sawyer has just had the shock of a lifetime and it’s a good one. However, along with this twist is the knowledge that pure evil is in its way. But Finn and Critter will make sure nothing happens to the love of their lives.

Ms Frazier writes such a gritty vivid story I felt like we were down in the swamps in Florida. The many twists and turns in The Outliers had me on the edge of my seat. All of the secondary characters helped add so much to this story. I fell in love with Josh and Miller and would love to see how their story continued.

But at the end of it all was the amazing Finn. Sawyer brought him back from a bleak existence and through their relationship Finn learned how to love and accept unconditional love in return. Sawyer became a force of nature not to be a victim ever again.

Together these two are one of my favorite couples ever. 5+ back to the swamp stars.

This is a great conclusion to this amazing duet!!! Finn & Sawyer are two passionate characters who would fight anything to protect anyone they love.

I really enjoyed seeing Sawyer grow as a character. She was a little timid in the first book and it was understandable, but in this book, she really shows her inner strength and how fierce she can be. Finn, oh that man, he is still a total alpha, but with Sawyer, he is sweet and loving and such a dirty talker. Seriously, their passion for each other just burns so bright and strong throughout this book!! I loved how these two characters fought so fiercely together. They really took the life they were building with each other and made it beautiful.

This book had me on the edge of my seat!! Honestly, T.M. Frazier knows how to write a climatic book that will have you gasping for breath and have you mind blown. This book was thrilling, dark, gritty and passionate and I loved every minute of reading it!! I cannot wait for what T.M. Frazier comes out with next!!

After finishing The Outskirts, I was dying for this book! The first book didn’t end in a crazy cliffhanger, but it left me with so many questions and I needed answers! I’m happy to say that TM Frazier answered all of my questions and left me with a huge smile on my face!

Sawyer has finally found a place she belongs. She has friends, she has Finn, and she has a home. Then her life gets turned upside down. Things with her father come to light, she finds out more about her mother, her past, and where she came from. Through it all, one thing remains constant. She has Finn.

Finn and Sawyer have amazing chemistry. I love their connection. I loved seeing more about it (especially things related to their names. sigh). I also loved Miller and Josh, and of course, Critter! He was a fabulous character.

If you’re looking for a duet with some mystery and suspense, a lot of heat, romance, friendship, and family ties, pick up The Outskirts Duet! I love everything Frazier writes, and this is no exception!

I have been waiting for this book since T.M. Frazier left me hanging at the end of the first book in Sawyer and Finn’s duet. The Outliers didn’t disappoint me one bit. It was thrilling and sweet and twisted all at the same time.

I loved seeing Sawyer and Finn embracing where their new life together was taking them. Dreams reached for. Potential coming to fruition and new hope blossoming. There was a lightness to them that hadn’t been present before in either of them. And despite all of the bombshells-and there were a lot of them- that were dropped, they were able to find solace in one another.

As things kept unfolding, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. This is T.M. Frazier I’m reading here! And when things did implode, I was left with my hand clutching my chest and a lump in my throat. There were a few things that I found a hair cheesy but they didn’t take anything away from the book overall. But that ending...it was perfectly Finnand Sawyer had me wanting to spend more time in the swamp.

**FULL REVIEW**

Just like with book one, I was pulled right into this story. The second half of a duet, The Outliers picks right up where The Outskirts left off...and thank goodness because book one had one heck of a cliffhanger.

"I just can't lose you. I can't go through that again. Not with you. Not ever. I just...can't. Don't put me through that. I won't recover because I refuse to live without you."

^^^This is the kind of emotional chaos we go through as we dig deeper into Sawyer's family and Finn's demons. It's heartbreaking and amazing and so real. Finding the truths, saving the past, and pure faith that they are meant for more than what life has dealt them thus far.

"She was the first person to come along who made me miss living. I wasn't expecting her. Or the way she made me feel. Took me by complete surprise."

And so did this story. All the surprises, both big and small came at just the perfect time. And I enjoyed every moment.

What a soul-clenching, heart-warming, and nerve-shocking conclusion to The Outskirts. Book one must be read before reading The Outliers.

It picks up right where The Outskirts left off with the bombshell of an ending. And what a story the characters had left to tell us. One with a past, present and a faint hope of a future.

As readers we are taken on the continued - if not slightly stilted - journey of healing and discovery for both Sawyer and Finn and find their paths are paved with hardship, and life-changing occurrences.

I adored the sense of family within all characters of the book and loved the cameo role from one of our beloved characters from a previous TM book series!!

My favourite part was the core bones of the love story between Finn and Sawyer. Two individuals who have come from such different backgrounds yet found each other in the unlikeliest of circumstances. TM Frazier has given us another epic tale of love with one heck of a twist. Thank you!

Well, I have to say I really love this couple. And I'm loving TM Frazier and the store, I won this book in an the store giveaway and it was a sweet sweet victory! The story follows a young naive girl who flees from a wacked out religious cult. She's out on her own for the first time and is experiencing a bit of culture shock. The author did a wonderful job in allowing me to experience my world through another's eyes, New eyes, that see things differently than I can having grown up in the culture. Then there is the sexy, dark, brooding Finn. He's so mean to her, I had to laugh. Finn lost his love and isn't looking for another. Well, TOO BAD ! Sawyer is sweetly irresistible, determined and one smart cookie. Plus in a literary sense they are just ment to be together: Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, and today's Tom Sawyer? Yep!
I happily recommend this book, start with book one, this is book 2 and you are good to go!
***there is also a beautiful poem within that I loved. Enjoy!

I loved this conclusion to Finn and Sawyer's story, especially after the crazy cliffhanger we were left with in The Outskirts! But T.M. Frazier certainly knows how to bring light into the darkness.

Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always.

This was the perfect description of Finn's love for Sawyer. He's not over the top alpha, nor does he treat her like a naïve little girl. He helps her navigate her newfound life while helping her become the woman she knew she could someday be.

Sawyer, beautiful and innocent Sawyer. Just when she thought she'd escaped a torturous life with her "father", Richard Dixon, she has to face him once more, but still with that fiery rebellion inside. I love that after the life she's led with him, she's so strong-willed and ready to take on the world.

We find out so many secrets the swamp once held, things you never see coming.

Definitely recommended, but read The Outskirts first.

I'm a big fan of T.M. Frazier's and this conclusion to the Outskirts duet just re-confirmed that. It was everything I was hoping for when the last book ended on that cliffy.

I didn't think I could love Finn more but I was wrong. His sexy, possessive and protective side have me swooning. The need to protect Sawyer is fierce and I know Finn will do all in his power to keep her safe.

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

Sawyer is so much stronger than she gives herself credit for. With all the crap her father put her through and then to deal with the past following her, it would have broken a lesser woman. She continues to fight with the help of her family in the Outskirts.

I laughed, got choked up, and had to fan myself a few times while reading this. I loved this duet and T.M.'s writing. I couldn't put it down. I love Finn and Sawyer!

The Outliners picks up where book 1 ended with Sawyer coming face to face with someone from her past. There was a lot of pain and hurt but in the end everything turned out great. Sawyer finally found a real place to call home with friends and family. While Finn let go of the past and focused on the woman he loved and the future. Overall this duet was sweet, I found book 2 slow and boring at times. I think for me although I enjoyed it, I thought book 1 was better and I honestly missed the edginess usually found in this authors books. With that said I can't wait for her next release Smoke.

Much anticipated follow up book to OUTSKIRTS.
Finn and Sawyer continue to live in Outskirts, with the arrival of a travelling Church, Sawyers fears raise, knowing her evil stepfather will never leave her alone. As he closes in Critter, Josh and all Sawyers new friends I’m Outskirts join together to protect her.
I feel Sawyer found herself in this book, she questions everything that she has been taught to believe, starts laughing at their idiocy as she realises they are not true, although Finn helps by supporting and guiding her he never forces her decisions in finding herself. As long as she is safe then he is happy.
There is so much more to this Duet, but I can’t mention too much without giving away spoilers to those who haven’t read Outskirts.
A whole lot of story, feels, happiness and heartache goes into these two books.
Highly recommended!

This is the conclusion of the duet. Let me just say this book is amazing. Wow!! I don’t really know what I was expecting from this duet but it was definitely not what was given and I mean that in a good way. This book will make you feel emotions more than you even realize. I couldn’t turn these pages to finish this book fast enough. I absolutely loved the characters and am sad to know this is done. I’m hoping one day the author will think about giving us stories from the other characters especially Josh. This book has left me with a hangover that I can’t seem to read another book no matter how hard I try. This is how you know the book was awesome. This is only my 2nd book I’ve read from this author but can guarantee you it won’t be my last.

This book was every freaking thing!!! It had jaw dropping suspense, a bit of humor and a bit of sexy time. T.M. Frazier gave us her all yet again in this suspense fully conclusion “The Outliners.”
I just love the dynamic that is Sawyer and Finn, they are so sweet to each that it will most definitely make your teeth hurt. To see their love grow for each other is so beautiful to watch. Also to see Sawyer come to grips with her past and realize her strength was another great moment in this story. There were A LOT of reveals that will leave you in pure shock, twists and turn that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
This book is a love story with a touch of suspense with a touch of humor. Oh how I love Miller and Josh, I hope they’ll be getting their own book in the near future. One of my favorite books of 2017!!!

I preferred the first part, this second one has the usual problem of Frazier in my opinion: the dead never stay dead and the bad guy never goes away. So ok, it could have been a bigger but only novel, it would have been better, in my opinion of course.

I just love Sawyer and Finn so much!

Finn is such a loving and swoon worthy hero, it’s just impossible not to be overcome with ALL THE FEELS over the way he loves his Sawyer!

T.M Frazier has an amazing way of including bits of laugh out loud humor amidst the darker themes, combined with the romance, steam, and belly churning suspense her books are everything you could possibly want from a story and more.

The conclusion of Sawyer and Finn’s story is one of amazing strength, love, and loyalty.

Perfectly executed with a cast of side characters that feel like family.

It will warm your heart.

This book will leave you satisfied, happy, and with that delicious preview at the end definitely looking forward to future works by this incredibly talented author!

I sped through the first book in this duet, on the edge of my seat, so I couldn't wait for the second book. I was a little disappointed that it didn't grab me the way the first one did, but after getting off to a slow start, it soon pulled me in and held me until the finish. Just like the first book, there were a lot of twists and turns to this one and I mean twisted in a way that only this author can write. She is the master of dark and twisty stories and this one is no exception. If that's the kind of book that you like, then this duet is definitely for you. And what's not to love with a hero like Finn and a heroine like Sawyer? Despite their differences, they just fit and you can't help but root for them to win over evil and have their happy ending. And if anyone deserves a happily ever after, it's them.

The Outliers picks up from where the last book ended and Sawyer is trying to figure out if everything in her life has been a lie. With her life been turned upside down yet again, Sawyer has some big decisions to make and Finn is determined to keep her safe while she deals with everything else she's got going on.

Finn is an absolute sweetheart in this book. His character has come so far since the start of this duet. Sawyer is another fantastic character that I absolutely loved. She's no longer the scared, naive girl that she was at the beginning and her relationship with Finn has helped shape her into the woman she's becoming.

This book is packed with emotions and the love between Finn and Sawyer will melt even the coldest of hearts. A great ending to a really enjoyable, twisty romance.

The conclusion to the duet series and it will make your head spin! I really fell for Sawyer and Finn and I am glad I got to read the next one in a matter of weeks apart 'cuz I was dying to know how this one would end. It was all I could ask for and more. Loved their relationship and how it was written. I do hope we get another one, one of the sidekicks 'cuz they deserve a story too :-) Another hit for me!
The threat that is Sawyer's 'father' is still out there and she doesn't know when he'll be coming for her. But with Finn and even more people around protecting her, she has nothing to fear, or does she? Secrets will be laid to bare and she'll finally know the truth about her real past. And when the day comes that Richard will be in town, she'll have more than her own to fight for...

Good read. I loved that Sawyer was not the typical damsel in distress and took her destiny into her own hands. I loved Critter (especially his name), Josh and Miller. I have fingers and toes crossed that there will be a book that explores the relationship of Miller and Josh. Wilfredo also rocked and I would love to read more about him and his crazy quest for love as well. On the downside, I didn't love how one dimensional the church and Richard were portrayed. I mean, I get that he's a bad guy, but how did he pull off everything? Does being an jerk give you magical powers to kidnap, disappear, terrorize and spy on a whole host of people? Also, as a huge fan of the King series, I was expecting a little more edge. It was pretty tame in comparison, but still good. Worth reading, for sure.

While The Outskirts felt like more of a deviation from her usual, The Outliers had all the twists and turns that I love about TM Frazier’s books. The sweet sexiness between Finn and Sawyer was still there, but the suspense was stepped up a notch.

Sawyer was always a brave girl, but that bravery came out to play even more in this book. She stood up for herself and her new ‘family’, and showed just how strong she could be. The twist from the cliffy in The Outskirts turned into a great subplot that I really loved seeing play out. And the cast of characters wove their way even deeper into my heart.

I really enjoyed this book, and the epilogues at the end were the icing on the cake, tying up loose ends and giving me exactly what I didn’t even know I needed.

This is one of my absolute favorite duets. The love story will consume you, the mystery will intrigue you, and you won't be able to put your Kindle down. I wish we would have seen more backstory on the cult. That kind of stuff fascinates me, so for me it is purely for the psychological warfare that the characters have undergone. I adored Sawyer and Finn's love story. Both characters have grown so much and they show us what it can be when we find that perfect person. I really hope we get more Josh and Miller. those two came close to stealing the show quite a few times. And we would see more Finn and Sawyer.
All of our questions from the first book are answered with the conclusion so there are no loose ends. It's the kind of book you will not want to put down

This insta-love story continues, and completes their story. My favorite parts of their story were Josh and Miller they are who I connected most with during this duet. The surprise guest at the end, is always welcome for my reading pleasure. This may not be my favorite from this author, but I am in the minority here, and I know others have loved this story.

This is the second book in the series and it started right where book one left off. Finn and Sawyer are thrown into a turmoil of the last as it comes crashing down around them. From finding out her mother didn’t die , to her scary as sin father and his church coming to their town. What’s a girl going to do but stand up and fight .
The characters just keep getting better and more complex. We see Sawyer find out what family is suppose to be and the love of those families . Finn has grown up too and he is great with Finn . There are new characters that add depth and some scariness to the book .
I read this book in one sitting the characters are well developed . You will cheer fir them. The ending will make you cry but you will love this story .

The outliers is the second book in the outskirts series and must be read in order as book 2 picks up straights from where the outskirts finishes.
So as per my previous review of outskirts, it wasn't my favourite but I must admit that I did think the series picked up in Outliers. We're left with a major discovery at the end of outskirts and basically this book continues through with Sawyer & Finn trying to find a way to destroy Says step father. He truly is an evil man & without giving away any spoilers, this man got what was coming to him. Lots of yummy steamy times between our couple too!!
Outskirts is a great tale of love, loss & rediscovery. Don't let me opinion sway you, as I think most readers will love this duet.

I have been a fan of T.M. Frazier since reading The Dark Light of Day. She tells a good story and has just gotten better with each book. I love Finn and Sawyer but would have liked to see a little more development of them in this conclusion. The story was as expected with twists, turns and edge of your seat moments. I love her secondary characters in all her books, but especially Critter in this one. I know some people have been critical of it not being gritty enough for them, but honestly that didn't bother me. I enjoy when an author steps away from what's expected, and I thought Ms. Frazier did a great job with this story. Not all of her books have to have that edge to them and I didn't think this one suffered for it. I truly enjoyed it.

The Outliers picks up right where The Outskirts left off. It was a bit fast paced, but still a great read.

It was filled with twists and turns, it seems around every corner. The secondary characters really turned up the personality and character in this second book. Josh, Miller, Caroline and Critter and Finns parents were wonderful to read about.

Sawyer had so many secrets revealed to her, but she rose through these tribulations like a champ. You could tell that she really found the strength within.

Finn (insert sigh), what can I day about Finn. He was fiercely loyal and protective to Sawyer. I believe he said it perfectly himself.

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

Sawyer is running from an abusive past and Finn is lost in grief. They find a love that to quote the author is "Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

I love TM Frazier. I fully expect to follow her work for as long as her pen has ink. I liked Outskirts and Outliers, but I didn't love them. I'm thinking its because this story doesn't have the intensity that the King series does. I'm not so locked into her only writing in the King world. I welcome new things from her or any other writer. I just felt like this duet was missing something, and I'm not sure I can explain it.

So do judge the stories for yourself because they're certainly worth your time.

There was so much goodness in the conclusion of Sawyer and Finn’s story, but if you haven’t read The Outskirts yet, it would totally be spoilers for you. And I don’t do spoilers.

But The Outliers had suspense to go along with the ever growing strength Sawyer and Finn were developing. Inner strength was a huge thing for Sawyer, and I loved seeing her grow into her own. Her newfound friends have quickly become the type of family she’d always longed for.

And with Finn? Having Sawyer in his life was like watching a butterfly emerge from it’s cocoon. No longer all broody and moody, his kind heart shines bright as his love for Sawyer grows.

This was such a wonderful end to a great story.

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Sawyer found her soulmate in Finn while on the run in the Outskirts but now she also has her family back! And it has made her stronger & more determined to stand up to her father once & for all. She is still pretty naive but again, her strength & desire to start over fresh in the Outskirts pulls her through. Book is short and sweet & Finn & Sawyer are as tight as ever - and super hot! They go the more traditional route and try to settle down & date and see where this heads, hopefully into forever with her "father" Richard left far behind. "I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always." "I can do that. I can make your body feel so good that your mind can rest a while."

Like all of Frazier's Duets I couldn't wait to start this sequel. I had so many unanswered questions and a lot of conspiracy theories in my head, because I know when it comes to Frazier something is bound to happen. I actually really loved the conclusion and I was happy that some of my far fetched crazy thoughts didn't become a reality.

This story is more than a love story between Sawyer and Finn. It's a story of Sawyer and Finn discovering themselves and learning to live. That doesn't even begin to touch on all the other relationships in the story and how I just felt completely connected to everyone.

If you are looking for a read that's fast paced, sexy and a little crazy this is it!

The Outliers is book 2 of The Outskirts duet and as always, T.M. Frazier dazzled me with her storytelling. I must admit, when I read book one I was “ok this is a bit different.” But, of course, in her true nature, T.M. ended the book with a cliffhanger that made me go “WTH?!” So, I was very excited to read the second book to see what was going to happen next in the swamp.

The Outliers was full of twists and turns and suspense that just kept me captivated from beginning to end. I simply could not get enough of the love and passion Sawyer and Finn have for each other. But it was not just their story that kept me on the edge of my seat, the author did a phenomenal job of entwining all the characters together.

There is so much to this story. It is so complex and beautiful, I couldn't even begin to tell you about the plot or situations surrounding this story. This is actually a good thing because you definitely need to read it for yourself.

The story, the characters, the setting, it is all visually stunning and paints a picture that draws you in. I was beyond ready to read this book after the ending of the first one. I was dying to know what happens next.

I was so not disappointed. This was a great ending to an amazing duet and I am sitting here without words after another amazing T.M. Frazier story. I can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve for us next.

Epic conclusion to what was a duet that had so many twist and turns that you couldn't put it down. Mrs. Frazier has hit a homerun and this story had me so Fiercely, Possessively,Crazily in love that I will be re-reading this again and again it was just so beautifully told. A story of two damaged souls both suffering from love and loss find what they need respectively in each others arms. Secrets were revealed, love was tested and great surprises were revealed that will have you instantly falling in love with this duet. Kudos TM for a book written from the heart and for reminding us readers that no matter what will come your way you're always stronger than you believe.

Shel: The Outliers duet is now complete with the release of this new book about Sawyer and Finn. I think readers of this series will be happy with this second novel. This quick read continues where the last one left off, answers all the questions, and combines that sweet heat that sparked between Finn and Sawyer. It's a departure from the violent anti-heroes in previous T.M. Frazier series and offers, instead, a love story of sweetness that's a nice blend of humor and sexiness and delivers an ending that will leave you satisfied.

Shel: Also check out the excerpt for her next book--looks like it's gonna be a doozy and we can't wait for it!

So I’ve been impatiently waiting for this duet and we pick up right where we left off. I have to say that I wasn’t as invested with this second part of the story. Don’t get me wrong I loved “The Outskirts” but this book just fell flat in some areas and I found the plot to be predictable at times. We did get some much needed closure and I’m content with the outcome but this wasn’t my favorite book by the author.

"Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily."

This installment which follows T.M. Frazier's The Outskirts was an incredible addition to this duet. Finn and Sawyer's story evolves in such a manner that has a hypnotic pull. The author sucked me into her vortex and I loved every minute of it!

Thrilling, sexy and suspenseful would be just a slight way to describe The Outliers!

The fact that there was a surprise visitor from her King series was awesome. When Jake Dunn made an appearance, I smiled ear to ear!

The author threw in some twists that were remarkably executed with finesse. I highly recommend this duet.

Finn and Sawyer have been through so much and it's not over yet for them. Revelations make Sawyer question even more things that she didn't understand. Finn will do anything for Sawyer and I do mean anything. Finn worships the ground that Sawyer walks on and just wants to make her happy.

This small town and close friends come together to try to beat the odds against an evil man who hides behind his "church". When someone is threatening your loved ones, how far would you go?

Finn and Sawyer are super sweet, super hot together. Finn just makes you want to go aww with the way he treats Sawyer.

Great duet!

Finn and Sawyer are back in this epic conclusion to The Outskirts duet and what a conclusion it is.

Picking up from where The Outskirts left is gobsmacked, we continue on Finn and Sawyers journey full of complications, revelations, love and hope.

Although this book was a bit predictable it did not take away my enjoyment or the feel of the overall book.

I loved being back with Finn, Sawyer and the rest of the residents of The Outskirts. I felt the ending could’ve had a little more to it as I felt it was a little bit rushed, but overall it was a good 4* read for me.

Picking up right where Outskirts left off, Outliers is a great conclusion to this duet. Following Sawyer as she learns about the major secrets and discovers more and more beyond the sheltered world she grew up in is as raw as it is entertaining. I enjoyed watching how her and Finn's lives unfold as she comes to terms with what she's learned and when the past comes back to threaten everything they're starting to build together Through it all they lean on their friends and family all the way to the end. The bonus chapters shed some light on the details that were skimmed over the first time around.

The surprises that come along, hot sex scenes, the laugh out loud moments, and angst is everything I want in a brilliantly written book and this one had it hands down.
I honestly think this author should write a book for Miller and Josh!! I mean I can imagine the lmao moments that could lead to, and I just really loved the cast of characters.

The Outliers is the perfect conclusion to a great duet! I really enjoyed Finn and Sawyer's story. This duet is perfect for TM. Frazier fans that like their romance a bit on the lighter side. It has an intriguing storyline, a wounded hero, and a strong heroine. Did I mention that Finn is super sexy? Not as dark and gritty as her King Series, yet still as captivating. I loved Critter's epilogue. Nothing like a cameo by one of my favorite T.M. characters! This author never disappoints. I can't wait to read what she writes next!

The Outliers is book 2 in this series please don't read if you haven't read The Outskirts yet!

In The Outliers we pick up where TM Frazier kicked us down in the 1st book. SHOCK TOTAL SHOCK. We watch Sawyer's world be rocked once again by secrets from the past. Don't worry Finn and her new found "Family" help her through it all. I think the ringing theme throughout this story is sometimes family can be of blood but sometimes it is shared pain and experiences that bring people together to form their own family unit!

The Outliers picked up right where The Outskirts left off. I thought The Outliers was better than the first in my opinion. I still liked the same characters and liked new ones that were introduced. I would've liked to have seen more of the new characters though. There were a couple of times where I was confused at first. I don't know it's because it didn't go through final edits or it was written that way. I also thought the ending was a LITTLE rushed. While I enjoyed both books, they sadly didn't measure up to any of T.M.'s previous work.

The Outliers is a great ending to The Outskirts Duet. The love between Finn and Sawyer was so intense. I love them. Sawyer’s innocence is so sweet. At times she spoke like a child, she really didn’t know much about life. The things she said was sweet and funny at times. She was really a person seeing the everything for the first time and Finn was a great guy to show her the world. This book gave me the giggles and the butterflies in my stomach. Book two of the Outsiders series picks up where book one leaves off and other than the past and present tense flubs throughout the book is a fluid sequel to the original Outsiders book. Picking up with Sawyers ever present family drama with the reappearance of presumed dead mother, continuing with plot twists and turns along the way, and ending with one hell of a conclusion T.M Frazier has me wishing I was from some backwoods swamp town!

The Outliers can not be read as a standalone, you must read The Outskirts first.  The Outlier starts off where The Outskirts left off.  When I got this one I wasn't sure if I remember how The Outskirts ended but it only took the first line of this one to remind.   Finn and Sawyer are great characters.    Sawyer's world is turned upside down again.   Finn is right by her side being supported.   Sawyer and Finn's love is strong.  This one is a great conclusion to a great series.

T. M. never disappoints. The Outskirts series is another epic series. While Outliers was a little shorter than I expected, the series definitely warranted a 2nd book. I gave this 4 stars not because of storyline, which I enjoyed, but because there were so many editing errors such as extra words in a sentence which made me have to re-read the sentence to get meaning. There was even a missing sentence/quote (I had already returned it back to kindle unlimited so I can’t remember exactly where but it looks like “,”). I hope someone goes back and re-edits this book because these things drive me nuts

Picking up with Sawyers ever present family drama with the reappearance of presumed dead mother, continuing with plot twists and turns along the way, and ending with one hell of a conclusion T.M Frazier has me wishing I was from some backwoods swamp town!

“Reborn into a life they were always meant to live. Just like Finn. Just like me. Just a couple of outliers.”

Outliers picked up right where The Outskirts ended without giving anything away questions were answered and old love found each other again.

I really loved Sawyer and Finn together, their chemistry was amazing and they were hot, passionate and loving toward each other.

I felt how the story progressed was good and I am happy with the ending, but I must admit I loved the first book a lot more. Nevertheless I enjoyed the conclusion to this beautiful love story.

The Outliers is the conclusion of the Outskirts duet! It was just as captivating as the first.

Faced with the secrets the town hold, Sawyers life is truly thrown through a loop. All the while Finn stands by her side while she comes to grips with the reality that her past was based on lies.

A truly amazing ending to a Fantastic Duet. And I love the way it ties into characters from the King series!

T. M. never disappoints. The Outskirts series is another epic series. While Outliers was a little shorter than I expected, the series definitely warranted a 2nd book. The relationship between Finn and Sawyer is so believable. It was moderate paced, with them getting to know each other. The twist, resolved in Outliers, is one the reader can kind of expect, but the details will floor you! Look forward to whatever her beautiful mind creates next.

Part two of another phenomenal diet by TM Frazier. Such a crazy, emotional story. Finn and Sawyer have both faced demons from their past and created a new and beautiful life despite the struggles they've both faced. I loved how passionate and fierce Finn is, how courageous Sawyer is. Learning smaller side stories about minor characters. I look forward to reading more books from this author, as she always raises the bar with each new release

After the cliffy ending I really was looking forward to this book, I absolutely love book 1. Although The Outliers was an ok conclusion it didn't grab me as much as the first book in the duet, maybe I should have read them closer together.

I did enjoy the characters and story behind these books, would definitely love to read Josh and Miller's story.

The conclusion to The Outskirts Duet. Sawyer and Finn, two broken people that find each other and a new purpose to how they live. This book takes up right where we leave Sawyer in book one. What a ride. Full of suspense and just waiting for what is lurking outside of their little town. This is a great duet and I got sucked into Sawyer and Finn's story. I wish we hade more Josh and Miller - I loved them. Do yourself a favor, take a trip to The Outskirts.

This 2nd book of the Outskirts was not one I recommend reading. It was slow and drawn out. I skipped through the 2nd half of the book, then finally went to last chapter and what I call the after parts.
I am disappointed since I really like TM Frazier books.

Another great adventure from T. M. Frazier. The depth of her characters were amazing. I so loved them all. Well except one. I love when I read a book and I feel like I'm there, you can see what they see and smell what they smell.

What a wonderful conclusion to this duet. It answered all the questions I had and picked up right where the first had ended (on a major cliffhanger).

The adventures and love of Sawyer and Finn is epic. It shows us that no matter what our journey is that love will always prevail. I loved hearing how Sawyer got her name and the message behind it. Some things are just meant to be.

This duet was a great story. Do yourself a favor and read them together to really get the feel of what initially drives Finn to be difficult. It makes his love for Sawyer that much sweeter and deep. I loved the twists and turns of both The Outskirts and now The Outliers. Twists, turns, sexyiness , and darkness is what T.M. Frazier is well noted for, and she does it incredibly well.

What a wonderful ending to this duet, a duet that can only be described in my eyes as an achingly beautiful love story. A book that kept me on my toes from the first chapter. There was no doubt, following the first book, that Finn and Sawyer were a solid unit, with a love that knew no bounds. That said, I was on tender-hooks throughout waiting for the bomb to drop. One of my worries (a worry I carried through the whole book) was Richard and his ability to mess sh!t up. I had other worries, but spoilers aren’t my thing, so I’ll keep my mouth shut on that front. In fact I can’t really talk much about the storyline, so I’ll stick with the bare minimum. I loved the story, the writing, the characters, all the characters had their own story to tell and I loved the glimpses I got, Critter especially. Another win for me with all the added plot twists I have come to expect from TM Frazier.

After that cliffhanger ending in The Outskirts, I was so anxious to read this book to see how all the events were going to play out. Sawyer has been through so much, and it didn't look like things were going to calm down any time soon.

I loved the development of her relationship with Finn. She pulled him out of a really dark place in his life. And he would do anything to protect her and keep her safe. I especially loved Critter and the relationship Sawyer had with him. With Josh and Miller sticking close by, her new family unit was strong. I am hoping at some point in time we will see a story for them as well.

I was expecting this story to be a little darker than it turned out to be, based on events from the first book, but it all ended the way I was hoping it would and I had a huge happy smile on my face.

Another great story from T.M.!

Cause there should be. T.M. Frazier has done it again. Not many people can make me cry, but she does. I have laughed, cried, yelled, gotten angry, gotten worried and at times a little freaked all over a book. Over people that are only real once you read this book. There are five words in the English language that most resonate with me at this moment...you saved me...and...the end. So for now, I'll say goodbye to Mrs. Frazier until I see her words again in February. Thank you from the bottom of my ❤

Nobody is braver than a giraffe that ventures into a Lion's Den , to save her family.
Sawyer had a steel backbone always, just needed to flex it every now and then. Book 1 ended in a cliffy, but book 2 continues. The Wow and Omg factors are in full glory throughout, I gasped out loud at many places and doubled up in laughter at others. Finn proved himself to be rock solid, dependable Hollis and the swooooonthump worthy ????

"I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always."

Could he BE anymore perfect?
The only time he lagged, a quick thump on his head with a rolled newspaper by his Dad , Joe , and he fell in line ?

“Life’s too short to beat around it when you can carve your way through it in half the time and sit back with a beer and a cigar for the other half.”
“That slap was for picking the apple before it had time to fall from the tree. Raised you better than that, son.”

Finn has found his forever factor. and he ain't letting go so easy, and whatever calamity come between them is swiftly dealt with.
I loved Critter the most in this book. He's a Daddy I would've loved to have. He has two decades to make up for ,in his girls' lives and he does with all his heart and soul.

the kind of love your mother and I have is not the kind you can recover from. It's not a cold. It's not temporary. It's the kind that becomes a part of yourself. Like the blood in your veins.

Caroline is "The Surprise" and you'll learn more about her mettle and mother spirit .
Sawyer is the Belle of the Ball, the Apple Of her Father's Eye. Everyday she's learning about the modern , real life that was denied to her . She keeps up with it at a steady pace. She's brave, smart, loving, generous.
A special thank you to Bridgett, Sandy Bennett and Jackie .
A very tough subject was dealt with in this book. The dreaded " MANFLU" , deadlier than the Black Plague. Miller falls prey to it and symptoms are severe - slight sneezing and coughing , no fever though !
Josh is poor sexy nurse who has to tend to the patient, short of strangling him.
His choices in soup - " Stars or Noodles"? Is what saved him ?
I loved the story and loved the quirky characters. The story flowed fast and smooth like a rising swamp water, had the earthy smell of outskirts and beauty of sunshine and sunflower fields. I could picture everything Tracie wrote , such vivid was her writing . Just felt the ending was a bit rushed and bollywood style.
It's a 4 stars, but extra half star for the epilogue of Critter and a Surprise Walk-in ?. Somebody hand him a box fan , Yo!!!!

Sawyer Dixon thought her mother killed herself to escape the hell that her alcoholic, abusive, religious fanatic father put her through.  When Sawyer finds an escape, left to her by her now deceased mother, she jumps at the chance to run away.  Making her way to the small town of Outskirts, Sawyer finds a whole new life and must learn quickly to adapt to a lifestyle that is completely foreign to her.  She is later surprised to find that her mother is alive and there in Outskirts, but her mother is broken, a shell of the abused woman she once was.  With the help of her friends and the love that she found with Finn Hollis she is determined to help her mother and to keep them safe from her abusive father Richard.  When the church arrives in town for their summer tent revival, they know that he will stop at nothing to either get Sawyer and her mother back or see them dead for the betrayal and transgressions he feels they have done towards him.   The devil though doesn’t take into consideration the lengths that a mother will go to protect her child.  The mother and child don’t realize that if they can beat the devil then they can true members of a family and no longer be Outliers.

T.M. Frazier has done it again in this duet to Outskirts.  Outliers was a remarkable story that once I got started I couldn’t put down.  I finished it in one sitting as the words just flew off the pages at me.  Sawyer showed great strength and determination in the face of danger and opposition. Her innocence is both funny and endearing.   Finn is the book boyfriend that was absolutely swoon worthy. He is handsome and strong and most importantly knows how to apologize to a woman when he knows he messed up. There are several hot, steamy romantic moments throughout the book that only Frazier could write and do justice to.   Frazier even goes so far as to give us a few bonus chapters at the end to let us know exactly how some of the behind the scene storylines played out.  Outliers is a five-star read

The Outliers is the conclusion of The Outskirts Duet. It's a quick, insta-love read. After facing the devil Finn and Sawyer get their HEA.

The Outliers beings where The Outskirts ended as we discover the truth about Sawyer's mother and Critter. It's a doozy! Sawyer's life continues to move full speed ahead as she continues to learn about the ways of the world outside of the religious sect. Finn moves into full protective mode when Sawyer's father's religious sect comes to town. All bets are off when the devil himself shows up to take back what is his.

Sawyer and Finn continue their insta-love relationship. Finn's over-the-top love proclamation "I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always" had me rolling my eyes. I'm probably in the minority but it felt a little too much. More secrets are revealed and families are reunited. My favorite character in this story is hands down Critter. Props to the man for keeping faith. 3 Stars

Woohoo, the conclusion to 'The Outskirts' is here and it was AMAZEBALLS!!!!! 'Outliers' starts up where book 1 left us. Sawyer has just been confronted with the biggest bombshell of her life and now she has to process all the details and her feelings. At least now, she has Finn who is a constant throughout it all and we get to see the growth and maturity that Finn has now taken when it comes to his fierce, possessive and crazy love for Sawyer. When they hear that the Devil himself is close by and threatening the freedom that Sawyer fought so hard for, they now have to all unite to take down evil personified that destroyed so many lives. With some more worthy fighting for, Sawyer and Finn must uncover more secrets, deceit and deepen their understanding of themselves and one another. But in the end, will it be enough to protect the lives and love that they have fought so hard for or does the sinister darkness have his claws in too deep?!

Even though I enjoyed Outskirts so much (of course I am, TM Frazier wrote it. Hello!!!!), I absolutely loved this book more. There was boys of everything in the book from jaw dropping confessions, heart stopping moments, strength and sacrifices of loved ones and the indescribable bonds that can never have a reason or an answer, that even though growing up we don't choose our family, but now have a choice of who we can be with to start a new one. It also explores the fragility of ones mind when we need to protect ourselves or purity and wonder of seeing or learning something for the first time. TM Frazier always writes flawlessly and effortlessly with characters that grow throught a story that is believeable and that you have a connection with them through experiences. The main characters have an intense and all consuming chemistry that bursts off the pages and the steamy scenes........ DAAAAMMMNNN, soooo HOT (cold showers are recommended). I never thought I would want to go visit a swamp, but if I find me a man like Finn, well then I will take insect spray and a fan ;) Loved this series.

This is book 2 in The Outskirts Duet and it picks up where book one left us hanging. Sawyer has just found out a few well kept secrets and is struggling to come to terms with everything because everything she knew to be was a lie. However she was being protected and maybe sometimes when truths come out it can only turn your life in a better direction. The question is though can Sawyer and Finn overcome the hurdles that are being thrown at them and can their love survive? Warning - You must must must read book one before reading this one or you will be lost lost lost!!!

I am going to admit this book was the complete opposite from book one and I still can't make up my mind as to which side of Finn I preferred. In book one we had the hidden but ragged, sexy and bolder alpha Finn and in this instalment we have the softer and much more reserved Finn and even though I love both ways in a character I just find it hard to adjust to the complete change in one character. Sawyer was a breath of fresh air though, as you read through you can see her growing stronger and understanding the normal world a little better each day.

Overall a really enjoyable read even if it kind of felt as if there was something missing from book 2 as the first 50% was quite slow for me. I have always loved everything TM Frazier has written to date and even though I didn't quite get some of this one I still loved Finn and Sawyers story right to the end. I can't wait to see what TM Frazier brings us next though.

We pick up from the first book and continue on the swampy ride!

I have to say the ending bit had me open mouthed and completely gobsmacked! I was not expecting that! At all!

Obviously I'm not gonna give spoilers but this book goes even deeper into Sawyer's past. Not only hers but Finn's and also her mother's and Critters.

I absolutely loved the plot. The twists and turns at every corner had me stopping and thinking about what was going on and where it may lead. Some i guessed. Some i definitely did not! It was steady then sped up and then slowed again and then sped right up i loved it! The pacing was perfect. It was fast enough to keep you gripped but not so fast that your head spun. You were able to read it and take it all in.

Finn and Sawyer were pretty much made for each other. I loved how protective he was but also that he forced himself to stand back and let her grow too. She was so sheltered from life that she needed that but he was always there to catch her, swoooooon!!!! i FLOVED Finn. Sawyer was so sweet and innocent and thankfully she didn't let her past dictate her future. She was determined to have a full life. Her friendship with Josh really boosted her confidence what a great friend to have!

The chemistry between and Finn and Sawyer started as a slow burn and turned into an epic love story. I loved that her innocence brought him back into the world of the living and how his progress also helped her to trust him and thrive.

I also loved all the supporting characters Josh and Miller have to have a book!! or a novella or something! Come on!! we can't be teased with them and be left hanging! surely?!?!

This duet is written very differently to the King series and i love how TM is expanding her writing it's great to be a part of as a reader.

Loved this story it has everything you need from a book and to see all the characters grow was an amazing thing to read.

Highly recommend!
