Erin has officially run out of material. I thought the book was just boring, and annoying. I would expect some more creative ideas besides what was here, with a whole new area to explore, yet I got this. *Spoilers* - Basically 5/6 of the book was just Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight arguing. So boring. Just because Hawkfrost was training with Tigerstar, Brambleclaw was trying to be friends with Hawkfrost, and Squirrelflight was raging because of that. So annoying. And with Leafpool, nothing exciting really ever happened, and neither with Squirrelflight. They are warriors! It made no sense what-so-ever that Brambleclaw was putting Squirrelflight in apprentice duties, no one even noticed..............and Brambleclaw was not even deputy or leader. What gave him a single right to boss Squirrelflight around like an apprentice! Personally, I was on Squirrelflight's side, yet I found the arguing boring and relentless. I thought it would eventually stop halfway through and Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight would get a life and do something exciting, but no, all it is, is a pair of bickering old ladies arguing throughout the book. And it defies the books previous on the quest to find Midnight. They where practically mates, and this book just wastes time and money on them arguing. Personally, I got very sick of it by the end. It did show how Thunderclan moved on after the great journey (which got it 2 stars), yet not a big problem if you miss it. A disappointment to the series. I hope future books are better.

The Clans are still settling into their new homes and problems are developing between those who feel the Clans should still help one another and those who believe there were always four Clans and each Clan is responsible for itself. There is also the visions that the medicine cats are receiving that none can interpret. They can see blood and violence but not the who or why.

I did not cry as badly in this book. Probably because the battle scene was interrupted by my having to close the book to get off the bus in the middle of the battle scene which was towards the end. I still teared up though. This story is more of Leafpool and her feelings. It also shows the resentment Clans have towards one another but how it is necessary at times for them to help each other. And the battle still rages between Clan born and kittypets. Midnight makes another appearance. I like the respect shown to her. The bond between those who traveled to the sun-drown place is still strong but fraught with problems because of the division of the Clans. A surprise appearances occurs.

I enjoyed this book. I look forward to the next book. I want to know about Leafpool's one vision. What does it mean for the future? And why the appearance of an old friend?

Sunset is a perfect ending to a perfect series. The story begin with Thunderclan right after the battle which reviews that Sootfur and Cinderpelt have died and they tell us Brook and Stormfur came back. So life moves on. All of the cats work together to try to put the clan back together. Ashfur is now hating Brambleclaw for taking Squirrelflight away from him. Now they have learned that Twolegs put traps all over their territory. Which later takes off a tail of a cat later in the book.. Brambleclaw continues to meet Tigerstar in his dreams and Shadowclan is taking territory from them...

The book is well written with 3 jaw dropping secrets though 1 is not solved yet...

It is fantastic. This is one of my favorites of the series.

The Power of Three sounds good but my only disappointment is Erin Hunter share the glory to some cat that are not relatives of Firestar and Tigerstar. It seems that they get all the attention. Why not Daisy's kitten they were kittypets that is interesting or Sorreltail's kits or three of a mixture.

All in all great book. This is a great book.

Erin Hunter YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

**If this is the same as the original “Holigoo Laser Light- Green & Red Stars” (see box photo) then they are amazing!!

When searching the Holigoo account this is the only green & Red light laser with black housing they still have on the store even though it says ‘Demeao’ brand do I believe it’s the same light.**

I purchased 2 of these in September after watching a comparison YouTube video that lists them as one of the best. We just got them out for Xmas and are blown away but the build quality and light projection. We have a few made by another very popular manufacturer & paid a lot for them but these make those look like cheap crap.

We have a ranch house on a 75% grade hill in so cal, so our soil is rock hard & it’s hard to light the entire house with the steep grade of our yard. These do the job very well!

PROS:
- The lights are very strong and fill a large area without any fade out on th edges
- The remote works well from 10 feet away (one remote controls them both)
-The different modes & speed settings make for endless possibilities.
-The metal build and ground stake are well built and feel substantial- I foresee these lasting for many years to come!
-The 2 thumb screws allow the laser head to be tilted and adjusted to fit whatever direction you need.
-There is a color change option for red, green, or red green combo.
-It comes with a plate for tree or bulging mount if you don’t want to install them in the ground with the metal stake.

CONS:
-I wish the cords were longer
-I selected the 4hr timer setting last night after install, they blinked confirmation, and then didn’t turn off. I had to come out and manually turn them off.
-When pressing the reset button on the remote one of the lights resets to the same pattern as the other but it also includes smaller moving dots...only one of the lights has this pattern even though they are exactly the same make/model.
-Most of the modes are too much and feel like a seizer...they can be slowed down but then it looks like a bunch of bugs crawling on the house.
-With all the options I wish one was included for the hologram (Xmas trees, bells, etc) instead of some of the more annoying ones...we have a hologram light for the garage though so it’s not really a negative...Just a wish.

After going through all the variations we settled on a slow speed movement that displays groupings of red & green dots alternating with a firework type explosion. If your trying to decide if this is worth it, YES!! Stop looking and get them, we have tried 4 brands over the years and these are hands down our very favorite!

This is definitely one of the greatest books Erin hunter wrote. Thinking about it makes me squeal with excitement. It is definitely amazing. But, that cliffhanger though???????? like I must know what happens next! They put brambleclaw in a really difficult spot. But they put it together perfectly, and it is amazingly worded. This is on point. ?? a must read.

Well we found out what the prophecy was really about but it still kind of shocked me that Brambleclaw was the one to stop Hawkfrost from succeeding in becoming the ruler of the forest. Also, Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw should keep being a couple and Willowpaw, always believe in StarClan. Thanks again Erin Hunter for the best series I have ever read.

This book was an epic conclusion to what was 'The New Prophecy.' Sunset was filled with adventure, drama, romance, comedy, and much more. There are a few minor spoilers; READ CAREFULLY!

The Clan is recovering from the badger attack, and lots of cats are injured. Two were killed; a warrior, who I will not give away, and the Clan's medicine cat Cinderpelt. Leafpool is then promoted medicine cat of ThunderClan.

ThunderClan has taken in two allies who came to help them fight the badgers, and all of the other Clans are viewing ThunderClan as a weak territory, even though they insist they just help everyone in need.

Meanwhile, Brambleclaw notices tension building up around the lake. A vengeful prophecy has been told numerous times: Before all is peaceful, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red. He has no idea what is still in store for ThunderClan.

Brambleclaw still meets with his brother, Hawkfrost, and his father, Tigerstar, in his dreams. Tigerstar is trying to teach his sons to become leaders of their Clans, and rule the forest together. Brambleclaw is unsure, but Hawkfrost is eager to learn, and Brambleclaw notices that his brother is turning out to look like his father, who was a greedy cat who only cared for power.

On the other hand, Leafpool has chosen the path to be a medicine cat, and has to give up on her past love for Crowfeather, a WindClan warrior. Medicine cats are not allowed mates.

As the forest gets darker and darker, the troublesome prophecy yet to be filled, every cat knows something is wrong. In this epic conclusion to 'The New Prophecy,' find out what happens to Brambleclaw that will change his life forever.

Thanks for reading my review!

I think a cat-lover would love this book, although it would also be good for the "talking animal" enthusiasts, and fiction fans. During the beginning Brambleclaw, the protagonist, is very jerky, but only because of the badger attack at the end of the prequel. He is constantly tempted to take control of his clan, but he is very loyal and trustworthy at all other times. The book is mesmerizing, although it is less action-packed that the prequels. I thought it had many non-physical confrontations though, and I could hardly stop reading.

P.S. SpecNav is a fan of the series!

This is very disappointing. The snowflakes and dots are bright and crisp but all of the other images are very dim and blurry. You can barely see them against the house. If you want the images to move you have to allow the project to cycle through all of the images. You can't just opt to have moving dots or rotating trees. If you pause the images, all movement stops. We will most likely be returning this unit, which is a real bummer since I past up many sales on other projectors to buy this one.

WARNING: THIS REPORT CONTAINS SPOILERS!!

The story might take place in a forest in England. The forest has firs, cedars, and mostly cottonwood, maple and oaks. There is old road, abandon workshop, and quarry. Marshes are near the lake and streams that runs into the lake. The first main event is the clan of cats is recovering from a badger attack. It shocks the clan when two new clan-mates arrive - Brook and her mate. They are from the mountains. Most of the clan is not happy with them being there.

Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost meet together which leads to Firestar, the leader of Thunderclan, getting stuck in a fox trap. Hawkfrost made it seem that Blackstar, the leader of Shadowclan, is there. Brambleclaws kills Hawkfrost because Hawkfrost was trying to kill Firestar AND Brambleclaw because he wanted power.

It's a really great book because it has a good ending with Brambleclaw getting out of his father's reach and becoming mates with one of his best friends. I'm also glad that Brook and Stormfur come to Thunderclan again. I like the Warriors' Saga because there is fighting and adventure and friendship. It is a wonderful book.

My friend, a huge fan of the Warriors series, is what got me into this wonderful story, and I'm glad she did.

What's so great about the Warriors books is that they're so easy to get into, and Twilight is no exception. I found myself turning the pages and being sucked into the story just as fast as I have in any of the other volume in the series.

Twilight has many more triumphs than flaws. Its triumphs are that the plot has taken a few twists and turns in this volume, most notably something mentioned vaguely about Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next to conclude the New Prophecy series. Some new characters have been introduced, and returning characters are as welcome and beloved as always, somehow managing to include all our favorite cats (except for Graystripe). The new relationships between the Clans and the new dangers to the forest pick up the story, carrying it along to its conclusion.

However, the book's flaws are undoubtedly in the lost friendship between Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, as well as the "love" between Crowfeather and Leafpool. While Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight have taken personality turns for the worst, each of them irritable and on such short fuses that you can't help but scream in your head, "When are they gonna make up all ready?!", Crowfeather and Leafpool's relationship left much to be desired. Whether you're a fan of the pairing or not, it's clear that how it ends for them seemed abrupt and pointless compared to their apparent longing for each other throughout the whole book. By the end of the book, I felt like the two of them had never truly loved each other at all, and I was disappointed. Not only this, but some cats - such as Tawnypelt, and Hawkfrost - didn't appear enough, especially when compared to earlier volumes.

Despite that, though, Warriors: Twilight is still an entertaining, grand adventure I'm sure many will enjoy. Some of the story's faults didn't even strike me till after the last page had turned, but even if I had felt them throughout the book(which some I did), I still loved every minute I spent with the four Clans. If you love books with meaning, great characters, and about animals....Warriors is for you.

I loved this book! I own it on hardcover and finally got a chance to read it. Some other reviews said that this wasn't the greatest one in Warriors: The New Prophecy but I thought it was one of the top books in this sub-series. Basically, the main parts were that Leafpool was struggling with her new love for the Windclan warrior Crowfeather. Leafpool knows she is not supposed to love any warrior outside the Clan, especially if she's a medicine cat! Her sister, Squirrelpaw is struggling with her relationship with Brambleclaw. It is sad to see how they are breaking apart from each other and to see Brambleclaw becoming more and more like his father, Tigerstar. Squirrelpaw is falling in love with Ashfur, a ThunderClan warrior and Brambleclaw is upset and treats Squirrelpaw badly. They are always quarreling over something. I think the author didn't have to make it so sad. However, I think that in the next book, Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw will be back together again. I think the Squirrelpaw&Ashfur thing was almost to get people to think that Squirrelpaw would in fact become in love with Ashur.

When Leafpool and Crowfeather ran off becuase they loved each other so much, they run into Midnight, the badger. Midnight warns them from attacks from her own kind, badgers. Her family is upset how they are being driven out of ther home. Leafpool and Crowfeather return home to ThunderClan and find things a mess! The badgers are attacking. There are to many of them and ThunderClan will lose. All of a sudden, Onestar with a group of WindClan warriors, comes to the rescue and drives the badgers away. Cinderpelt, the medicine cat, dies from the attack of the badgers. I cried at ths part. It was so sad! Cinderpelt told Leafpool that she knew this was happening. It was so sad to see this beloved character die. While they are recovering, Stormfur and Brook appear out of no where, and the book ends. I wasn't sure what that was all about. Do they want to join the Clan? Are they just visiting? How did they get there and how long did it take? What was the journey like?

I am looking forward to the next book, which comes out January 1, 2007. This a great series and I advise all those who love fantasy and cats to read these books!

Sunrise

Author: Erin Hunter

Book review by Sami Gibson

Sunrise by Erin Hunter is a book people will like if they like the outdoors or if they enjoy a good adventure book. This is the twelfth book in a series about four clans of cats (WindClan, RiverClan, ThunderClan, and ShadowClan.) Isuggest reading the other eleven books before you read this one.

There are four main characters Brambleclaw, a dark brown tabby tom, Squirrelflight, a dark ginger she-cat, Leafpool, a light brown tabby she-cat, and Hawkfrost, a dark brown tom. These cats live in the forest along with most of the other characters. During Sunrise Brambleclaw and the others struggle with relationships between family and friends.

The exciting series continues in a new place. A lake with several other things near by, including things the cats call `thunderpaths' and `the horse place' these things truly are roads and a stable. There is a map in the front of the book that is easy to understand.

Loyalty to the Clan is important to the lives of these cats but sometimes love gets in their way. Survival is a big theme in this book the Clans may end up warring with each other. It ends up as survival of the fittest.

I recommend this book if you have ever wondered how the family cat would manage in the wild. I hope this review about an awesome book convinces you to start with book one or continue with the series by reading the latest book published, Sunrise.

Wow, this book was wonderful! I spent the day reading it, and the ending was the best part. WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS ARE CONTAINED IN THE REVIEW

Leafpool seems to have given up on Crowfeather. She has a new job to be part-time mentor of RiverClan's medicine cat apprentice

Brambleclaw has shown whose side he is on. He became deputy to Firestar, when Firestar realized Graystripe was dead(He isn't, but ah well, can't tell the cats that ;) ) He had a hunger for power during the whole book, but it didn't bother him at the end, where he had the choice to kill Firestar to be leader, but he doesn't, and kills his brother instead. Exciting! But the poor cat is left with horror at the end.

Cinderpelt in fact has not died, but has been "reincarnated" in one of Sorreltail's kits. Creepy, but nice, the wonderful cat is still alive!

I guess even the author that kills all the "cute cats" (if you read the innterview you'd understand) couldn't give her up for good. xD

Ashfur was horribly bitter about the Squirrelflight/Brambleclaw relationship. Which leads me to believe he was responsible for the treachury caused at the end of the book. Which is sad, cuzhe was cool in the 5th book.

From the sample chapter for "The Sight" at the end of the book. It refers that the "kin of the kin" is reffered to Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw's three kits, that they apparently had during the six month period betwen the book. (Their names are Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Jaypaw) And they are apparently prophecied to have great power)

That's it, I guess. VERY GOOD BOOK! I reccomend reading it even if you saw all the main parts of this review.

Pretty disappointed. You can hardly see it against the house so added it with other lights and it brought nothing to the party. It works good inside on the ceiling if i can get husband to bring it in. Would never buy again.

Sunset is a good book but not the best out of the "Erin Hunter"'s books. Squirrelflight is back with Brambleclaw again and Ashfur is really mad at both. Even Starclan wanted Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw together. While Brambleclaw is still listening to Tigerstar about he and Hawkfrost becoming leaders. Stormfur and Brook came to visit Thunderclan and Riverclan. When Stormfur and Brook came to Riverclan, they got kick out becuase Stormerfur attacked Hawkfrost. Then Firestar accepts that Graystripe is dead(even though he isn't) and appoints Brambleclaw deputy because Starclan send Leafpool a dream that they wanted Brambleclaw to become deputy. At the end Hawkfrost give Brambleclaw a chance to kill Firestar to become leader. Instead Brambleclaw kills Hawkfrost and before Hawfrost dies he tell Brambleclaw that he had help from a cat from Thunderclan. (I think the cat was Ashfur because Ashfur was really mad that Brambleclaw became deputy. He pretty much call Leafpool a lier and he said that can go aginest Starclan pick for deputy of Thunderclan.) Leafpool and Squirrelflight appears at the place and Leafpool said that the prophecy have been forfill. ( I think that Brambleclaw feel guilty that he kill his brother.)Now I just have to wait for months for The Sight which is about Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight's childrens.

In the books of The New Prophecy it expresses the thoughts of two cats (switching off) and this book contains the thoughts of Squierrelflight and of course Leafpool. In this book Squierrelflight and Brambleclaw start to trouble with their relationship concerning trust. Squierrelflight can't stand the thought that Brambleclaw can even think about his halfbrother Hawkfrost, she says there is something about him she just can't trust. While Leafpool is having trouble with her own admirrer Crowfeather from Windclan! That's right even though she is a medicine cat she can't ignore her love for him! Meanwhile all the medicine cats keep having terifying dreams of disaster, claws and darkness, while Leafpool has her on vision of claws, darkness and pain then it ends. What do all of these things mean? Meanwhile for some reason that Hunter never seemed to put in the book is that Windclan is hating Thunderclan and wants nothing to do with them, until the end of the book when they come to help Thunderclan in their time of HORROR! Something sad about this book is the cat who dies in the end. I'm not saying who it is, but is a cat who you have know a long time and will feel pain to see the end come to this cat's life. Read the Book for more! It's GR8!

I fell in love with ALL of the warrior books from the very beginning and each of them has been (in my opinion) five star books. This one met my expectations all the way! I must say that I thought Erin Hunter summed up the series quite well and left me waiting to read "The Sight".

The four clans: ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, and ShadowClan have made their journey to their new home for some time now and many things are starting to unfold in slow motion. Leafpool, the ThunderClan medicine cat has been having visions and they say:

"Before there is peace,
blood will spill blood,
and the lake will run red..."

Leafpool is still not sure what it means but all in all she's got a bad feeling about what's going to happen. Mothwing, a medicine cat that doesn't believe in the great StarClan has a new apprentice...but how will she teach him if she doesn't believe in StarClan?

As dangers unfold Leafpool See's BrambleClaw and his half brother Hawkfrost. They're talking to their dead, murderous father, Tigerstar...

I hope that you read this book and enjoy it as much as I have!

let me get this straight THIS REVIEW IS A MAJOR SPOILER ! after Cinderpelt dies,(tragic) she is re-born as one of Sorreltail's litter. Creepy & weird, but exiting. Guess the author gets sad when Firestar's,like, best friend gets killed. It was, like, so exiting when Squirrelflight falls in love with Brambleclaw again. The only bad part about that is that Ashfur gets like, so mad, which is a bummer cuz he was great in the 5th. But there is NOTHING bad about Brambleclaw killing Hawkfrost, except for the fact that he's killing him. Ugg,so many deaths. It is so cool that Leafpool gets to walk in Mothwing's apprentice's dreams. It is so sad that Leafpool has to stop loving Crowfeather.

Just to start this book is NOT about vampires and romance it's about cats and that is so much better to clear that up. WARNING THIS REVIEW INCLUDES MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this book features as the main characters Squirrelflight and Leafpool this time. In Twilight Leafpool struggles with her relationship with Crowfeather and is willing to go rogue an leave the clans to be with him. Squirrelflight struggles with relationship problems as well. She is torn between Ashfur and Brambleclaw. She is now remembering why she loved Brambleclaw and is now leaning toward him a little more than Ashfur after she realizes she won't risk her life for Ashfur BUT she will for brambleclaw. Overall this book is Great and I totally recommend it unless your looking for vampire romance.

OMG!!! i heart it x100!

after the badger attack, leafpool decides to help mothwing mentor her apprentice willowpaw because mothwing doesnt believe in StarClan. later, spottedleaf shows leafpool a terrible secret about mothwing and hawkfrost, convincing leafpool that for sure hawkfrost cannot be trusted. meanwhile squirrelflight and brambleclaw rekindle their- er, relationship leaving ashfur incredibly bitter. also cloudtail spends tons of time with daisy and her kits, making brightheart sad and leafpool and brambleclaw get mad. o and one of sorreltail's kits looks exactly like cinderpelt! amazingg firestar also accepts that graystripe is dead and appoints brambleclaw as deputy! and at the very end, brambleclaw is given an opportunity (by tigerstar and hawkfrost) to kill firestar and become thunderclan's leader. so brambleclaw has to choose between loyalty and ambition, just like tigerstar, except tigerstar chose ambition. wat will brambleclaw choose? and the ominous prophecy "before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red" is fullfilled. its also sort of an abrupt ending, so.. we'll have to wait for the new series Power of Three! then we'll find out wat tigerstar's spirit does to brambleclaw and the destiny of brambleclaws and squirrelflights children jaypaw hollypaw and lionpaw

My NP reviews are very short. And I still wrote typos! Today's goal: NO TYPOS IN A REVIEW FOR AN AWESOME BOOK!!!!. . .there.

I'm so happy to see that Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are back together. Like I wrote in a review before; If they just have one tiny, small, puny special moment together, they wouldn't resist each other anymore. My theory was correct. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

And Crowfeather and Leafpool broke up (YES!). Leafpool wants to remain loyal to her Clan forever now. Mothwing got an apprentice called Willowpaw too. Willowpaw is so cute in the Cats of the Clans book!

But what about that prophecy? 'Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red.' Pretty scary to me...

And the dark forest dreams with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost still haunt Brambleclaw. If Squirrelflight heard that one, then it's all over forever between them...Tigerstar says he can help Brambleclaw get to leadership easily.

Firestar gave up about Graystripe too! And he chose another special cat as deputy. I won't tell you; its a secret...okay, alright. It is pretty easy anyway......................................................................
BRAMBLECLAW!!!!

But since Brambleclaw got closer to leadership on his own, even without an apprentice, Tigerstar told Hawkfrost to do something horrible to Firestar! You'll have to find out what he did ALONE!...without Tigerstar to help you!

xoxoxo,

Wariors The New Prophecy is very tense you don't know what's going to happen next, but by the cats on the cover you can guess. I'd say Warriors is my favorite series yet. This one in particular... Sunset is full of action packed chapters and miserable paragraphs like when Leafpool can't love Crowfeather, also Cinderpelt's death. I'd love to see more Warriors books from Erin Hunter. These books are full of surprises for example when you learn Mothwing doesn't believe in StarClan, thats why I think these are good for children. Thank StarClan Erin Hunter wrote these books!

Warriors #5: The New Prophecy*****

*Warning: Spoiler Alert*

In the last portion of this book, many badgers attack the ThunderClan Camp. Though the story focuses on three cats,
Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, and Leafpool, this is Cinderpelt's story.
Characters

Cinderpelt: Very young, gray she-cat with blue eyes. She is very pretty. Pelt is gray, slim, and sleek
Squirrelflight: Orange tabby she-cat with green eyes. Pelt is slim
Brambleclaw: Tom with ta-okay, I'm sure we know what they look like.

A great rumbling sound filled Cinderpelt's ears. She could hear snarling, and jaws snapping, and the sound of trampling.
Young Cinderpelt's blue eyes widened. Suddenley a badger burst through the thorn Barrier. It stopped, sniffing the air.
More badgers thundered through the barrier.
Great StarClan, there's so many of them!, Cinderpelt thought. The hollow filled with the sound of battle.
Brackenfur scrambled up beside Cinderpelt, as the young she-cat slashed a badger down its side.
"Cinderpelt! Sorreltail's kits are coming!" Brackenfur gasped. "Okay. I'm coming. Good luck, Brackenfur," Cinderpelt tried to sound reassuring. Cinderpelt bounded over to the Nursery. The young, gray she-cat gave Sorreltail a stick to bite down on for when the pains came.
The medicine cat fought off a badger.
Another badger lumbered up, snarling. Cinderpelt quickly raked the badger the badger's muzzle.
The badger howled in pain and stumbled backward. Cinderpelt lunged for the badger's neck, and bit down hard.
It swiped Cinderpelt away. Cinderpelt smashed into the wall of the Nursery.
She swung her paws toward the badger, hitting it directly.
"You will not destroy our camp!" the she-cat yowled angrily.
The badger swung around and headed out of the hollow, full of screeching cats and slashing claws and flashing pelts.
Another badger roared in frustation and pounded toward Cinderpelt. Cinderpelt sliced it across the nose. Blood splattered onto the ground. "I'll show you to invade ThunderClan!" Cinderpelt hissed, and pounced onto the badger's back. She dug her claws in. The badger moved from side to side, trying to throw her off.
Blood started to well from the badger's back. "I won't let you hurt Sorreltail, or her kits!" the young, gray she-cat's blue eyes shined. She would do anything in her power to save her Clanmates. The badger yowled angrily and slammed Cinderpelt onto the ground. Pain shot up her her back.
She would not let this badger hurt any of her Clanmates, even if that meant sacrificing her life. Cinderpelt batted the badger with her hind legs.
"I won't give up!" Cinderpelt mewed. The she-cat sliced her claws at the badger's throat. Blood spattered on the Nursery floor. The badger swiped a massive blow at Cinderpelt. The gray she-cat let out a pitious wail of pain. Sharp pain flew throughout her body. Cinderpelt struggled to get up and slice the badger to pieces. The pain was too much. She let out a small wail. The badger's small, black eyes gleamed in triumph, snapping its jaws and revieling rwo rows of yellow teeth.
It snarled viciously and lumbered inside the Nursery, standing over Cinderpelt. Then a cat lunged for the badger and bit into the creature's neck. Spitting in fury, the badger stumbled out of the Nursery.
Leafpool! Cinderpelt managed to speak. "Leafpool! You came!" Cinderpelt had always known that Leafpool was an incredible medicine cat. "I've always known you were an amazing medicine cat. You truely are. Better than me" Cinderpelt struggled to speak, but she wanted Leafpool to know how great she was. "No, I'm not. I left the Clan." "Yes, Leapool. You are. I don't mind you leaving the Clan. I understand how you feel. It's okay". Cinderpelt noticed the pool of blood around her.
"Don't leave me, Cinderpelt. You are very young to....die." "I am young, but StarClan could not have chosen a better medicine cat then you, Leafpool. My time has come. Good bye, Leafpool. May StarClan light your path." "Cinderpelt, no!" Leafpool gasped. "StarClan could not..have chosen... a better medicine than you. This is my destiny, Leafpool. I'm sorry." Cinderpelt closed her blue eyes as dizzying blackness sorrounded her. I'm sorry, Leafpool, Cinderpelt thought as she took her last, shallow breath.

I believe Cinderpelt was very young, way to young to die, but she fought with courage and bravery. Cinderpelt lived her very short life well.
Her place in StarClan is special.

When I first started reading the Warriors, I immediately got into a habit of non-stop Warrior Cats reading. When I got to this book, Twilight, it seemed that maybe when Erin Hunter was writing this book, she was filled with many wonderful ideas for her story. Mothwing is one of my favorite characters. She's a shy, sly medicine cat, yet inside, she's ready to protest against her frightening, muscular brother, Hawkfrost. Squirrelflight changes her emotions and personality in this book; she begins to understand others, like Brambelclaw, Mothwing, and even Squirrelflight. The characters in this story are all interesting, though some stick out more than others. I simply couldn't but the book down! It was so suspenseful. WhenI put the book down, for the rest of the day I had questions such as: will Squirrelflight find the bravery and courage in her heart to forgive Brambleclaw? Will Mothwing ever stop depending on Lealpool, or will she give Starclan a chance? Will Brambleclaw not follow Tigerstar's cruel footsteps? Will Firestar understand that even though the prophecy warns that Bramblecalw and Squirrelflight can't be together, that they really need to? I picked up this book, read it, and it made me think more sophisticatedly, and I thought of different, unique ideas. The characters in this book sometimes are awkward, but they can also teach you lessons. For example, the elders remind the kits about Firestar when he was an apprentice and how he got in trouble by breaking the Warrior Code. He was punished, and now that he has learned his lesson, he follows the Warrior Code rules and he is a great leader. It really tells you that if you listen to the rules and make the right decisions, you will grow up better. Now, Crowfeather, in my mind, has made a giant change. When I first heard of him, when he was Crowpaw and he was a taunting bully to many cats in his clan and cats not in his clan. But after his journey to see the Tribe of Rushing Water and after seeing Midnight, I think that this made him change his ways by seeing how much cats needed him, seeing how many cats are in danger. He has chosen a good path, and now that he has, I just can't see him taking a bad path. The Warriors series is great and major things, changes, and secrets are revealed. The Warrior books are very fine, and out of 10, I give this specific book a 10!

I think this book was great but not that eventful. Leafpool runs away with Crowfeather and Cinderpelt dies. At the end of the book ThunderClan get attacked by badgers. Also at the end of the book Stormfur and Brook return! YAY! Anyway I think that Erin H. is a very good at clif hangers but the end kind of annoys me because now I HAVE to get the 6th book by this week to find out what happened to Stormfur and Brook. I love Graystripe (who doesn't?) and i have heard he is coming back! YAY!There is not much more to say except Leafpool isnt as nice as she used to be and Squrrilflight and Brambleclaw keep on treding "on each others tails". I have always thought that Brambleclaw was bad and i wont change my mind!I always will like the previous series more because I miss Rusty, Firepaw, Fireheart, Firestar because Erin H. doesnt talk about him that much anymore. My favorite characters are Graystripe,Stormfur, Feathertail, Ashfur, and, Silverstream! YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK!

"Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red." Those are the ominous words of an unfulfilled prophecy that ThunderClan's medicine cat, Leafpool, received. But what does it mean? After the devastating badger attack on ThunderClan, Leafpool can't help but wonder if the prophecy means that something even worse is looming on the horizon. At the same time, the past continues to haunt the forest as old friends struggle to find their place, others appear to be lost forever, and an old enemy resurfaces in a quest for vengeance. A dark and sinister path is unraveling, and the time is near for certain warriors to make choices that determine not only their destiny, but the destiny of all the clans.

The book begins where the last book in the series left off; there had been a horrific badger attack on ThunderClan, plus old friends, Stormfur and Brook, arrived. The clans got along pretty well at the beginning, but then Shadowclan thought they'd take advantage of ThunderClan's weakness from the badger attack, so they tried to steal land. But their attempt did not succeed. Then Stormfur and Brook went to RiverClan, but came back soon after because of Hawkfrost. The medicine cat, Leafpool, heard Hawkfrost (Brambleclaw's brother) and his sister talking and learned Hawkfrost was trying to make his way up to the top, but in all the wrong ways. Leafpool also struggled to relay messages to her medicine cat friend, Mothwing, about how to save dying cats in her clan. Meanwhile, Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost had been taking lessons in their dreams from their father, to learn how to become leaders, though Brambleclaw was torn between his ambition and loyalty. Brambleclaw was soon made deputy of ThunderClan, and finally proved himself worthy by saving his leader rather than killing him to win authority.

This was an excellent read that was difficult to put down. Some of the reasons included well-written characters, exciting parts, and happiness.

Some of the well-written characters included Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, and Leafpool. Brambleclaw was a well-written character because the author gave a great depiction of how he was torn between ambition and loyalty to his clan. Squirrelflight was a good character because she had a good personality; she is funny, loving, loyal, and caring. Another well-written character was Leafpool. She was struggling with her new medicine cat duties, a sinister prophecy hanging over her, and interpreting signs for her medicine cat friend who does not believe in StarClan. The author perfectly depicted her struggle without any "deus ex machina."

There were many exciting parts throughout Sunset. One time was when Leafpool overheard Hawkfrost talking to his sister, Mothwing. She found out that Hawkfrost was exactly like his father, the evil Tigerstar, because he was overambitious and willing to kill any cat or do anything to get what he wanted. Another exciting part of the story was the part where Brambleclaw spied on RiverClan. He watched in horror as his brother, Hawkfrost, managed to get Stormfur and Brook kicked out of the clan in order to cradle his own ambitions. That was exciting, but the most exciting part was when the leader of ThunderClan, Firestar, got caught in a fox trap right where Brambleclaw was meeting Hawkfrost. Hawkfrost was urging Brambleclaw to kill Firestar in order to become leader, but Brambleclaw didn't want to get power in that way. Their quarrel turned violent after Hawkfrost tried to kill Firestar himself. Knowing what he had to do; Brambleclaw killed Hawkfrost to save his leader, ultimately proving his loyalty to the clan.

This book included a lot of happiness. One happy part was when Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw became friends again, after a previous fallout. Another happy part was when Brambleclaw was made deputy unexpectedly, and the entire clan was happy for him. The biggest happy part, though, was when Brambleclaw finally did what was right and killed his over-ambitious half brother rather than killing Firestar. After that, the entire ThunderClan respected him, even those who doubted his loyalty.

Sunset was an excellent book and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a good read, because of good characters, exciting parts, and happiness. Before reading this, however, it might be advisable to read the other books of the series, because Sunset jumps right into the storyline.

The sixth installment of Warriors: The New Prophecy #6: Sunset, was much better than I expected. Sunset included many different subplots and old charecters not brought up in Twighlight that completed the New Prophecy. Tigerstar was eager to get revenge on Firestar through his kits and was able to walk in their dreams to convince them power is everything. In the end, when Brambleclaw is given the chance to kill Firestar, he shows to waiting readers where his loyalties truly lie. As for Firestars kits, Squirrleflight makes her decision on the cat that she wishes would be her mate and Leafpaw deals with the troubles of her friend Mothwing and her new apprentice Willowpaw. The new series of Warriors, The Power Of Three, looks very good and I can't wait!

This was a great end to the series, but I still needed more. I thought the turn Squirrelflight made from Ashfur back to Brambleclaw was a bit quick. She had a lot to be angry about and then all of a sudden she's back by his side. I think Ashfur was so mad he'd do anything to get rid of Brambleclaw including help Hawkfrost trap Firestar. So while Erin Hunter wrapped up "The New Prophecy" of blood spilling blood, she's opened the gate for a whole new issue. My only hope is she doesn't jump too far ahead into the next series without finishing up this bit of mystery. Not to mention Leafpool's new "apprentice" in the neighboring tribe. There's a lot more story to tell in this series and I think she may have ended it prematurely. That being said, it's still a great read and a fabulous set of books. And while I know she's geared it to kids, I'm 30 and absolutely love these books. I can't wait to see what's up next...not to mention the tales of "the Lost Warrior" Graystripe. Lots of story left, keep them coming!!!

I read Twilight as the first book of the "New Prophecy" series, and I love it forever and beyond. If there was only one book that I could read on a 18 hour plane trip, I would read this EXACT one. I love this one as much as Leafpool loves Crowfeather.

Erin really does it every time! I really loved this book! And it really is sad at the end because in the previous book, Erin was talking about the end is coming for a cat all too soon. For a second I thought that she was talking about Firestar and then I thought..."Wait..that can't be right! If Firestar dies then the series would end!." And then I got a letter from author tracker saying Erin is writing a book called 'Firestar's Quest' coming out Fall 2007.

And when I found out that the former medicine cat dies (find out for yourself =D)at the end, I was really crying lol. =(

I also frowned at one part in the book when Cloudtail was training Daisy. When Cloudtail asked her to fight him, she said she didn't want to hurt him. And he said you can't say that to an enemy in battle. I have to say Daisy is a peaceful cat and Cloudtail shouldn't try to turn her into some cat she's not, espically a peaceful cat for goodness sake! She's actually the only cat with sense in the whole warriors series! Trying to being peace to the clans not bloodshed!

I also agree with one of our reviewers that there should have been more romance in this volume. There was surely more romance between Firestar and Sandstorm but between Leafpool and Crowfeather, there was really only romance when they weren't together.

Overall, I truly reccomend this to any cat lover and hope the series goes on and Erin you rock! =D

This is one of the best books yet. I read the book in one night getting to bed around 6:30 but it was well worth it. The prolog at the beginning is not clarified till the last 1 or 2 chapters and you'll guess it aroung the 3 to last chapter. I wanted Brumbleclaw to die but that didn't happen. But the last 3 paragraphs should have happened sooner than they did but then the suspence would not have been as good as it is.

This seires is one of the best any reader would like if you like battals, secrets, and as little romans as the book can be with still being good if you havent read the first 10 books its best to start at the beginning not the middle; if you do the earlyer books would be ruened when you get around to reading them. Enjoy. Morninglight AKA Fire Kaiba.

I just finished reading twilight and i have to say it isn't as good as i had hoped. Crowfeather and Leafpool go ahead sneaking every moment together but fate isn't to kind to them. I find Onestar a bad leader, he broke all ties of the friendship he and Firestar had since Fire and Ice. I hope things do work out between either Squirrelflight and Ashfur or Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, I hope Brambleclaw resists his father's dark heritage, after all, Goldenflower was a respected warrior. I was sorely dissapointed in the end, the warrior who dies shouldn't but i knew they had to die sometime. I wish that they would make a book between Darkest Hour and Midnight. Hopefully Sunset is much better than Twilight.

I gave it one star because of the remote and how ease it is to use. Other then that it is terrible . You can hardly see any of the lights and don't saw it has to be dark because it is. What a disappointment ! I guess I'll see how it works inside, but who really want lights inside. very disappointed .

Sunset was a good book, with all due respect. Of course, there were some aspects that left many more questions then answers, but the reading was fun none the less.

I especially liked the (!SPOILERS!) big fight scene at the end of the book between Hawkfrost and Brambleclaw. It was a good twist to have Firestar being trapped in a fox trap. You always assume that he'll be okay, as (ususally) all main characters live. But, since the writers kill off so many characters and it has been decreed that Brambleclaw has a set death date in The Power of Three, who knows what will happen? It was a huge relief when Brambleclaw killed Hawkfrost, as I have been waiting for that day for a long time. Leafpool's prohecy has been fulfilled: "Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red." Your brain does tend to toil endlessly, thinking about what the prohecy means while waiting for this book to come out. Thankfully, but friend Darkfur and I figured out the case of 'blood relative' spilled the blood of another 'blood relative'. It was a very good prohecy that you do need to think about in order to know, unlike the original serie's prohecy, "Fire alone will save our Clan." That was very predictable...

The traitor that Hawkfrost's spirit mentions after the fight is also unclear. Many believe that the traitor is Ashfur. It is true that Ashfur was acting like acid towards Brambleclaw for 'stealing' Squirrelflight away, and it is also a fact that Birchpaw, Ashfur's apprentice, was the one carrying the false message to Firestar that would lure him down to the lake. And Ashfur was also the one to tell Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight that Hawkfrost had Firestar in a trap, perhaps to bring Brambleclaw to the lake. Perhaps Hawkfrost told Ashfur that he could get Brambleclaw down to the lake, it would look like he killed Firestar and Brambleclaw would be exiled, which of course was not the case. I don't think that it is Ashfur, because in The Sight, he shows no hostility towards Brambleclaw. He's even the first to cheer when Brambleclaw stays deputy when Graystripe returns.

That brings me to Graystripe. I personally thought that Graystripe should have returned in Sunset, but it probably was for the best when he returned in The Sight. It was a bold decision when Firestar appointed Brambleclaw deputy, even though he had no apprentice.

Brambleclaw was very annoying in Sunset. He continues to trust his evil father while pushing Squirrelflight away from him. He only realizes their evil at the last second, before it's too late.

It was good that Crowfeather and Leafpool didn't run off again in this volume, as that would have made me burn the book in frustation. Crowfeather and Leafpool are both idiots for liking each other! They break the warrior code like...what is it, seven times!? It's too frustating.

All in all, this book was a very good addition to the works of Vicky Holmes, Cherith Baldry, and Kate Cary. You HAVE to read it, as it has many twists and turns along the path. If Brambleclaw wasn't such an idiot and Leafpool not so moody, I think that it would be a perfect book. However, that is not the case. Sunset deserves an "A-" grade and 4 stars. Read it if you love Warriors!

Sincerely,

~Dapplewing~

For starters, I'm a big fan of the warriors series. I love the way Erin writes and the way she is so kind at her book talks. These series are amazing! I recomend them to everyone.
I was so excited for this book and had to wait forever! And the wait was worth while. This book is one that you can't put down, with an excellent ending. Although it may sound a little violent, it is a great end to the New Prophecy series.
This book would have to be my second favorite in the series, after the Darkest Hour. I encourage anyone who has read the other books to read this one.

This book was a little boring compare to Starlight.brambelclaw is like taking Greystripe place and getting alot close to Harkfrost. While Squirrelflight is get closer to Ashfur. Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are still aruging like when Squirrelflight said to Brambleclaw "that there is only 1 cat she can trust in her life" and she was talking about Ashfur,Brambleclaw was surpise. While Leafpool is having problems with Crowfeather. She loves him and she he loves her, but there is no way they can be together. At the end Leafpool runs away with Crowfeather but then returns and Crowfeather is all saying that Leafpool didn't love him as much like with Feathertail. At the end Thunderclan get atack. Then Brambleclaw go out to fight the bagers attack. Squirrelflight is then all worry for him that he would be killed. At the very end Stormfur and Brook appears out of nowhere.

I was sadly disappointed with Twilight, fifth book in the Warriors: The New Prophecy series. We start off with Squirrelflight and the traditional Leafpool's POV. The Clans have settled into their new territories now- so much that they are falling back to old scent marks, choosing not to remember the journey. Still, they rely on each other more than they used to in times of trouble- that is, to ThunderClan's surprise, every Clan except WindClan.

There are also many new threats in their forest- foxes, hostile kittypets, and every Clan has had some sort of trouble with badgers. Meanwhile, Leafpool wrestles with her duty as a medicine cat and love of Crowfeather. Their relationship does not feel real at all- it is all too obvious how the authors steer sharply away from any romantic scenes or explanation of why they can't push aside feelings. The resolution to their problem is the biggest letdown of this series, so much that I read it twice, thinking, "That's it? What?"

Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight reappear, complete with personality makeovers. What's so annoying is that whenever one of them is feeling friendly towards the other again, immediately the other one doesn't have any interest. Very timely moodswings, no?

I did like how Mothwing's character went...though I had hoped for a lot more Hawkfrost. Onestar and Leopardstar have appeared to switch personalities...and once again, all Tawnypelt fans will be sadly disappointed.

Still, I read this book in three hours. It manages to be gripping and beautiful even amongst its flaws. I'm dearly wishing that Twilight was a book to open up loose ends...and maybe Sunset will resolve them in an altogether more satisfying way.

I'm an avid Warriors reader. I love Erin Hunter's books, especially how everything coming from the point of view of a cat is so clever and creative. "Twilight" has, thus far, been my all-time favorite Warriors book.

The story starts out with Leafpool, one of the two medicine cats of ThunderClan, dealing with a love she seeks but knows is forbidden. Her sister, Squirrelflight, is facing difficulties as well, though hers deal more with the betrayal of a best friend and the growing suspicion that her clanmates are, perhaps, not as kind as she thought them.

Throughout it all, a strange prophecy soon becomes clear:

Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red.

Ominous words, spoken to the medicine cats of the clans by StarClan, the warriors of the night sky who have departed from the world as ThunderClan, ShadowClan, RiverClan, and WindClan know it.

What do these words mean? Will Leafpool be able to become the medicine cat she so desperately wishes to be, or will the love prove to strong for her?

Read Twilight, and find out!

As strange as the title I gave my review might sound, this summarized what was running through my head in this book. The book was good as usual, but I wanted to yell at them so much! Brambleclaw faced so much prejudice in A Dangerous Path (Warriors, Book 5) and The Darkest Hour (Warriors, Book 6) due to his father-his nighttime meetings just make the problem more difficult. His relationship with Squirrelflight is already down the Twoleg drain, must he alienate everyone? He's seriously creeping Leafpool (who's caught him with Tigerstar and Hawkfrost in his dreams!) out in this book, which brings me to her and how I grew to dislike her for this book and Sunset (Warriors: The New Prophecy, Book 6). (She manages to redeem herself in Warriors: Power of Three #1: The Sight, but channels Yellowfang like Cinderpelt does in this book. [I don't find this a bad thing, Yellowfang's cool.]) She enters a doubly forbidden romance (medicine cats aren't supposed to fall in love) with a character who hasn't been exactly stable about love. (In Dawn (Warriors: The New Prophecy, Book 3), this cat didn't care if he died as long as he could be reunited with his beloved.) He seems to think he is Graystripe, and he's not. Graystripe lost his mate, your relationship with a certain cat didn't go anywhere, foolish warrior! This is what annoys me about this romance-Leafpool knows about Graystripe's affair with Silverstream, I assume? So how does she think this romance will work? Spottedleaf didn't get the cat, either, so why does Leafpool think she will get lucky? Oh my gosh, where do I start? I feel bewildered just thinking of what to write! First of all, I would like to say this is a wonderful series! I am honored to have read Erin Hunters books! I enjoyed absolutely all of them! I haven't read all of the books, though. I just finished reading this book, Warriors: The New Prophecy #6: Sunset. Now, I am downloading the next book on my kindle! I love these books so much, it's impossible for me to wait for the next one!
The characters are absolutely wonderful! They each have unique personality's, features, designs, and stories/paths! Even the characters that barely appear in the story! I like how each chapter is explaining a different cats side of the story, too. How it goes back and forth from Brambleclaw and Leafpool. In some of the books before this, it goes back and forth in between different cats, too, so it isn't the same cat each time. Leafpool's path and story is definitely one of the most unique ones. ( I'd say why, but I might give you guys some spoilers, so I'll try to explain carefully, without giving away anything as much as I can! ) I think her story was more unique because of her strong emotions and how her life just turns upside down and she no longer knows what to do. Her omens and signs from Starclan are so intense, dreadful, and also filled with mystery. She is one of the greatest characters, in my opinion. Brambleclaws path is quite interesting, too. ( Again, I'll be careful and not give anything away! ) What he did in the story was one of the best things that happened! He always made it so suspenseful and mysterious! It was so great when it was his turn to tell his side of the story!
The plot and story was absolutely amazing! It was planned and written in extraordinary ways! I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next book when one was over! I can't even put into words how great the plot of these books are, always being so suspenseful, full of action, detailed feelings and dreams. It was great!
I absolutely recommend that you should buy this series if you are thinking about it! It's a wonderful series and you will instantly get hooked! I have to say, in my opinion, this book, The New Prophecy #6: Sunset, was one of the best of the series. The others are great, too, though, so read them all!

This is a fantastic book!! It's hard watching Brambleclaw struggle with his loyalty to the clan and his ambition to become deputy but it is great when he finally chooses the right path. Squirrelflight's troubles with her mate are interesting to watch and it is so hard reading about how Leafpool is terrified that Cinderpelt is too angry with her to visit her in her dreams. This book is an incredible ending to The New Prophecy and I can't wait for the next one!!

I am such a HUGE fan of these books!!!!! I think they are all good, and I have to say "Sunset" was not my absolute favorite. It is the last book in the "Warriors:The New Prophecy" and on May 1 they are going to make another series "Power of Three".

I think the ending of this book is to abrupt. They should have told you more about the cat who helped Hawkfrost at the end. And I am DYING till "The Lost Warrior" comes out so we came FINALLY know what happened to Graystripe! Kate Cary PROMISED he would come back according to my friend who is also a Warrior fan.

In this book, Stormfur and Brook have left their Tribe and have come just at the right time for ThunderClan, to help them recover from the badger attak at the end of "Twilight". I think the book should have told you why they left the Tribe and why they couldn't go back. Despite everything they didn't tell you, this was a great book! But don't read it unless you've read the others or else it will make NO SENSE!

P.S. To the writer of "I Like Something Called an Ending": It is SO sweet that they brought Cinderpelt back!

Her poor judgement leads to an ending that is guaranteed to make you sad-but don't worry, there's quickly hope at the end of the tunnel. Despite my ranting, this was a good book. Check it out!

I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with all of the Warrior cats adventure and is a great peace of literature. Erin Hunter did a fabulous job with the last book of The New Prophecy. Best book ever! I can't believe that Cinderpelt was kinda re-born into Cinderkit' s body! And I wished that RiverClan and found out about Hawkfrost earlier, but the way Hawkfrost dies, I liked it just as well! And yes, I know Erin Hunter isn't one person; she's a bunch of people that help each other write the warrior books. Ugh! What will happen to Brambleclaw now that Hawkfrost is dead and is seeking out revenge with Tigerstar? I'm eager to read the next book. I just hope nothing super tragic happens to Brambleclaw or ThunderClan! Anyway, great job Erin Hunter!

Book 5 is absolutely action packed and doesn't stop till the last page! The start of the book talks of a mysterious death within a clan and will soon walk with StarClan. The four clans finally find their new territories and are still establishing boundries. StarClan is still walking to the new destination and the clans have not yet recieved a sign and are losing faith. RiverClan medicine cat was not ment to be and doesn't believe in their warrior ancestors. A secret meeting is being held with a cat who has passed, but does not walk amongst StarClan teaching blood to be ambitious. Great book highly recommended!

Where to begin? I promise that there will be no spoilers in this review. Once again Erin Hunter has done it again. (They make absolutely great stories.) Any way, this book finally answers the questions you may have from the previous books. -The book finally has the clans settle into their new territories, and a choice between ambition and loyalty are confronted. Thunderclan is recovering from the badger attack, then suddenly, a fallen warrior is much closer than the clan thinks. Sunset of the Warrior books is awesome. I highly recommed this book to ANY person who loves a good adventure story and loves twisted plots that keeps you reading.

Squirrelflight and Leafpool, daughters of Firestar, the great ThunderClan leader cat, has some problems going on in their lives. Squirrelflight finds it hard that her best friend, Brambleclaw is betraying her so she concentrates on a friendship with another, better cat called Ashfur. Leafpool is in a stage called forbidden love. She's falling for a WindClan cat called Crowfeather when she knows that she can't. Leafpool's a medicine cat which means she heals cats with herbs and recieves signs from StarClan. Medicine cats do not fall in love and if they do, they broke the Warrior Code and sent to exile. Also, cats can not fall in love with another cat in another Clan. So that means Leafpool broke 2 warrior codes.

Now, Leafpool thinks that she's usless now. Her mentor has found a new cat who could do some jobs for her. Leafpool aruged with Squrrielflight and they never argue. Will Leafpool run away from home with Crowfeather so they can be together and live happily ever after and would Squrrielflight abadon Brambleclaw forever and go with Ashfur; so that their memory is nothing but history?

This book is really good with many twist and turns. It may also be really sad to some people.

This book marks the six book of the second Warriors series. As suspected people who have read the series pretty much knew what was going to happen. However, there was a twist. Hawkfrost said that there was someone else who helped him trap Firestar, someone in the Thunderclan. My guess is that it could have been Mousefur or Spiderleg. Dustpelt agreed with Mousefur about Firestar overstepping the warrior code, but if he is revealed as a traitor, his sister Sandstorm (Firestars mate)will be pissed off.

Why can't Brook and Stormfur go back to the Tribe of Rushing Water? What exactly happened?

My hunch is that those questions will be revealed in the graphic novel, "The Lost Warrior" which is about what happened to Graystripe.

I am a huge Warriors fan and have to say, this wasn't the greatest. It was still good though. Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry or "Erin Hunter" contineud their Warrior Saga with Leafpool, the new medicine cat of Thunderclan (after her mentor died) and her sister Squirrelflight. Leafpool had fallen in love with Crowfeather a Warrior in Windclan. But it is forbidden because medicine cats are not allowed to fall in love or have kits. Squirrelflight is dealing with her friend, Brambleclaw's betrayl. She feels she cannot trust him because of his brother Hawkfrost. The story line, as usual, is complicated with all sorts of surprises. Twilight, for me however, was still a little disappointing. Brambleclaw was made out to be like his father, Tigerstar. In previous books "Erin Hunter" was leading his charector away from Tigerstars path. But now you can't be so sure of what Brambleclaws going to do. As other reviews say, Leafpool and Crowfeathers relationship did seem to lack some romance. Overall I still enjoyed Twilight and recommend it very much. I also can't wait for Sunset, Firestar's Quest, and the third generation of Warriors, The Power of Three.

The devastating badger attack left me stunned, the death of Cinderpelt made me cry hard, cold tears. When Leafpool got the prophecy I was eager to find out what would happen next.Later, I couldn't believe that CHEATER Tigerstar was still after Firestar, with his sons Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost to help him(Brambleclaw didn't want to kill his leader). When Brambleclaw had to kill Hawkfrost to save Firestar it made me feel joyful that he was dead.Overall, I love this book.It screams awesome!!!!

This adventure is exiting. Squirrelflight is STILL quarreling with Brambleclaw. She is hanging out with Ashfur. While I, Polarheart, left from Thunderclan and is now deputy of Snowclan. So you will have to find out the rest of the adventure on your own!

"Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red." Thunderclan's medicine cat Leafpool received a warning from Starclan. As the clan slowly recovers from the badger attack, Leafpool wonders...do her dreams from Starclan mean worse danger than the badger attack?

In this series Firestar has mated with Sandstorm and has two daughters: Leafpool-Thunderclan's medicine cat, and Squirrelflight-a young and talented warrior. Squirrelflight was not sure about her love for Ashfur or Bambleclaw. Bambleclaw was Tigerstar's son; his resemblance makes others wonder if they can trust him. Bambleclaw is having secret meetings with Tigerstar in his dreams, and Hawkfrost is with him. They discuss how they can rule the forest; just Bambleclaw and Hawkfrost would be the leaders. Only first, they must become deputy.

Bambleclaw does not know what to do. He is tested with his loyalty to his clan, and his hunger for power that he inherited from his father. Also his love for Squirrelflight is stronger than ever. If she found out what he was going to do, planning, meeting with his half-brother and father, he is afraid she would never trust him, again.

In the end, he realizes what his purpose is and goes with it. The dreams helped him decide what is right, and what is wrong. Erin Hunter goes by the pen name Kate Cary and Cherith Baldry; they have sold more books than J.K. Rowling. I have enjoyed this series and cannot wait until the next series comes out! Even if you do not enjoy reading about cats, you will love these books. When you get into it, it's like they are not even cats but real people. This is a "must have book" for any young reader who adores fantasy, with "sitting at the edge of your seat" adventure. Add this book to your shelf, and you will not be disappointed.

These books have been incredible for my 9 year old. This is the second series that he's read in the Warriors group by Erin Hunter. He uses the language that the cats in the book use, and he often comes to tell me about some exciting twist that has happened, or a new character that he's falling in love with. These have been great for his reading speed, he's reading much faster and with greater recall since starting these books a few months ago. I highly recommend them.

I'm totally crazy about all things Warriors, but I must admit that this was unusually...worse. Not saying it was bad, but I didn't pick up the plot line until the very end. However, I gotta admit that this is a good read, seeming to just say to you "Turn the page! See what's next!" (I was so excited that it took me only two days to read it). This will make no sense if you didn't read "Midnight" or "Moonlight", and it really helps to read the original Warriors series first. I read the New Prophecy first, then read "Into The Wild" and it made SO MUCH SENSE!

I am hooked on both series of Warriors. I was a little disappointed with Sunset because it kind of left things hanging. All the rest have been GREAT. They told a complete story and I just couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.Nothing like a soap opera. This kind of was..

I can't wait for Lost Warrior and I am sure a lot of Warrior fans believe (please..Please) that the mystery of Greystripe will finally be resolved. Brambleclaw might not be too happy but I have been waiting FOREVER!

This has been the best series I have ever read. Please don't change the style the rest have been written in and turn them into soaps. A reader should be able to pick up ANY book in a series and find a complete journey into the story and read the next one because you WANT to, not because you won't know what is going on if you don't. Thank you Erin Hunter for Warriors. You have 12 winners. Keep them coming.

I don't undertand why at the fifth book in a series a good percantage of the authors just seem to write down whatever pops into thier head. Of course, I enjoyed the book, thoughI found myself reading it when I was bored, and only then. That was really odd for a Warriors book, but - what can you expect from the New Phrophecy? Just a feeling of incompleation. I also don't understand why people choose to give the whole story to other reviewers; stop it, we don't want to read the entire story online, we just want to know what you thought about it; excellent, good, okay, or bad. Please, I made the mistake once- just give us the facts, not the book.

I actually was kinda dissapointed with this one. first of all, there really is too much to bear and there are all sorts of little problems but no main theme. I actually got frustrated. Where was the actual writing? I missed it! I kind of hated it when "Erin Hunter" painted a picture of Brambleclaw as an evil and bad tempered guy! There seemed to be too much at once. The story plot was pretty bad. What saved Erin Hunter was her style of writting which kinda flows well. Don't get dissapointed, I'm sure that Erin Hunter (Or the Erin Hunter"s") will make the next enstalment as great as the other one.

This last book in the second warriors series is really good! With Leafpool and Crowfeather falling apart, Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight coming together, RiverClan secrets, evil guys and...someone...is closer to the Clans then they might think! Graystripe is dead according to Firestar, but HE NEEDS TO COME BACK!! Leafpool gets weird signs from StarClan. And no guys, Ashfur does not kill Firestar making Brambleclaw leader. Sorreltail's daughter is named Cinderkit, find out why! Cinderpelt rocks! If you want to know what happens and have read the other warriors books, read it!!! This book is really good!

I loved the original series. This disnn't upset me either!

In the last one, Leafpool left but came back. Now she's a lost, confused, and arrogant medicen cat. She arrogant because she's so worried about her ex-mate, who her best friend is, and that it's her fault Cinderpelt died.

But she still cares about Squirrelflight. Squirrelflight gets back with Brambleclaw and dumps Ashfur. Obviosly the prophecy is fufulied and Hawkfrost dies. Brambleclaw is made deputy but is going to be real mad when Graystripe comes back in, "The Sight"!

that's all the good stuff. Enjoy readind it1

I like this book. Although it does leave a question unanswered at the end, the prophecy, "Before there is peace,(or, before all is peacful) blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red," was answered. Maybe the unanswered question will be answered in the Power Of Three, the new series. Though, I don't think it was answered in the first book of Power Of Three, The Sight. Well, other than that, this book was pretty good in my opinion. But you probably should read the other Warriors: The New Prophecy books first.

I hope I helped you in this review and didn't spoil the book for you.

If you want me to ask questions to get you wondering what happens, here,

P.S. before you read this, you might want to read the other books or it might ruin the surprise.

~ (1)How is the prophecy fulfilled ( I hope I spelled that right )

~ (2)What happens when Brook and Stormfur come back?

Bye!

I am a librarian, and I started reading this series in 2005. I never really understood why it was for children because there is more violence and bloodshed then the Harry Potter series. Moreover, The Warriors saga became a lot more darker and gothic once it spun off onto the sequel: "T.N.P."

This book is mostly a plot filler to make room for the final book "Sunset". It was obvious that one of the cats from Thunderclan was going to meet its untimely fate. The first clue was in Starlight, Leafpool took the medicine cat oath. So while she is still an apprentice, technically she is not. The second clue is in the prologue of "Twilight". Keep in mind what Crookedstar said. Who was Crookedstars daughter? What happened to her, and who tried to save her? Look out for "Firestars' Quest" in which he goes on a journey to find Graystripe and bring him home, and the movie "Warriors of the Forest", a film with real cats featuring the voice of Michael Clark Duncan as Tigerstar.

Twilight, the fifth book in the new prophecy series, is mainly a plot filler, tying up lose ends in the previous books all in preperations for the 6th book Sunset. this time we switch to Squirrelflight's point of view with some chapters for Leafpool. the clans are begining to settle into there new homes and life seems to be returning to normal again but trouble faces Firestar's two daughters. as Squirrelflight becomes more distant from Brambleclaw cause of his friendship to the shady Hawkfrost, she must also deal with the fact of Windclans sudden bitterness towards Thunderclan and as for Leafpool she must struggle with her feelings for Crowfeather that may affect her duties as medicine cat. the book starts out slow in the begining but really picks up at the middle mark and goes into hyper drive at the end which ends in a cliffhanger for Sunset. some people will be dissapointed as a beloved character dies but at the end people will realize it is a logical choice. another great read that will have you at the edge of your seat during its climactic showdown get as soon as possible.

This is the last book in Warriors: The New Prophecy and l will say I'm sad that season 2 of the warriors series has ended. This was a very good book, with lots of surprises and action to keep you reading. In this book you will see who Squirrelflight choses to be her mate, will she chose Brambleclaw or Ashfur????????? And Leafpool's prophecy will be fulfilled. "Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the lake will run red."

Sunset was a good ending to Warriors. MY REVIEWS DON'T GIVE WHAT THE WHOLE BOOK IS ABOUT, but I do give what most readers are looking for; the facts. And the facts are that Sunset was a statisfying ending to a lopsided series. The book was filled with exciting twist and turns. If you were disappointed with Twilight, then you will feel a little more compleate with Sunset, but be forewarned, the ending IS NOT SATISFYING.It just leaves you hanging on the tip of a cliff, precauriosly, dangerously, hoping desperately for another page, just like it left me, I turned the page, and there it was -

The introduction to the NEXT Warriors series; oh please, Erin Hunter barely managed to keep her second series from destruction. I was sorry for reading the New Prophecy. It left me thinkng Hunter had lost her touch. Don't read the next series is my advice. It will just leave you hanging.

I read Twilight and Starlight back to back so get to compare. Twilight is the better of the two, which is great, because I was about to lose hope. I really enjoy this world of books and the editing and writing seemed to be better. I'm guessing that one half of Erin Hunter is more interested in this than the other and maybe that other should stop writing on them.
I am getting annoyed with the huge role that Starclan plays in this series as compared to prior ones and just how much they interfere and say stupid things and give out stupid needless information. The story pacing would be much better without it. It wasn't difficult to guess which cat was at the pool hearing his/her death warning and I admit to getting sniffly, but that didn't change my annoyance with the books.
Leafpool is an annoying character. Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw are also annoying. I find the whole Brambleclaw issue to be completely different from what his setup was in the start of the series. He seems to become more and more weak willed and stupid with each book, when he was a cunning, clever and non power hungry cat.
Sunset will be the last book in this series I read unless the reviews are just really good for Power of Three. It's too early to tell.

wow! i can't believe erin hunter did it again lol =P twilight is an amazing addition to the new prophecy series and it will keep u reading till the very end.

ever since the five clans arrived in their new territory 2 moons ago, they have learned to go their separate ways...well, most of them. the warrior clans face many hardships, some new, some old, some that they never dreamed of. with a new leader, windclan becomes stronger and denies the help thunderclan have given them over all those times and refuses their aid, while riverclan battle with the dangers of twolegs that leave many of their cats ill. shadowclan has had trouble with malignant kittypets while thunderclan are in need of apprentices and warriors.

firestar's daughter encounter hard decisions that will determine their relationship with thunderclan. remember leafpool and crowfeather at the ending of starlight? they seemed perfect for each other, didn't they? i think they make a really cute couple, but in the end they feel more strongly for their clans and kind of...drift away. but i really feel that they will want to see each other again in sunset (the next book) and further volumes (i hope!!) to come! there really needs to be more romance in these series. they're way too shallow & need to go more in depth, not just by ending a relationship by saying, 'i don't think u care about me enough, and that's the end of us' that's way too...bland! i liked crowfeather and feathertail's relationship though.... it was very realistic (to me). and squirrelflight's feelings for brambleclaw dissolve as her emotions toward ashfur become stronger. although brambleclaw and squirrelflight kept on quarreling throughout the book, it was really obvious they were destined to be friends. =)

all in all, twilight is a very appealing read, and that is why i finished it in the bookstore lol! ^_^ i truly hope things will turn out better in the next book, like more romance & hopefully the clans will get along better now that onestar understands the true meaning of friends. and the very ending was a big cliffhanger, when two cats (you'll have to find out yourself!) come along to find thunderclan in a huge mess. i was so surprised, i thought we had seen the end of them! but i'm happy because they were among my favorite characters in moonrise =) nevertheless, i am eagerly awaiting sunset, the 6th book in the new prophecy saga!

This was an amazing book. I loved it so much. I didn't actually think Leafpool would run away with Crowfeather. It made me cry when Cinderpelt died though. From the beginnings of all the books with Cinderpelt as Cinderkit, Cinderpaw, then a medicine cat, Cinderpelt, that every clan loved. The badger s made it very hard on ThunderClan though. This was a GREAT book!

This was a very suspenseful book and I thought it was cool when Stormfur and Brook came to ThunderClan. I'm not giving away the ending to people who want to buy the book, but I thought it was really really exciting when Brambleclaw had to make a choice between Firestar and Hawkfrost. Go Warriors!!!

This is the last (6th) book in the Warriors: The New Prophecy series by Erin Hunter. While this book tied up the series fairly well; I was a bit frustrated with how anti-climatic it was.

This book follows where the last book left off. The Thunder Clan, having driving out the badgers, are trying to rebuild their camp. A number of questions are answered as things progress. Will Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight forgive each other and get back together? Will Leafpool's prophecy about "blood killing blood and the lake running with blood" come to pass? Will Brambleclaw's secret dream meetings with his brother Hawkfrost and father Tigerstar lead to anything? Will Brambleclaw succumb to the call of power or will he remain loyal to his clan? Will Hawkfrost manipulate the clans into war? What about Mothwing and her inability to communicate with Starclan?

The majority of this book deals with Brambleclaw's story as well as Leafpool's prophecy. Overall it is an engaging book and a page turner. There is again less action in this book, although it ties up the majority of the major plot points well. I was very frustrated with the anti-climatic way the book ended, I mean they spent 3-4 books foreshadowing the horrors to come with Leafpool's horrible prophecy, and I found the ending to be a bit of a let down. That's all I will say about that in an effort to avoid spoilers.

The book is left somewhat open ended with regards to Tigerstar and the general plans of Thunder Clan. Obviously these story-lines are picked up in the next Warriors series called The Power of Three.

I will not be reading anymore of these series, as I did not find them to be all that interesting and found the laborious way the plot dragged on to be frustrating. I really think that all six of these books could have easily been made into 1-3 books with a more interesting and condensed plotline. Lovers of cats may like the series anyway; although as mentioned in my last review on book 5 of this series, I thought many of the cats' actions were very uncatlike. A much better book about adventuring cats is Tad Williams Tailchaser's Song. Tailchasher's Song takes you on an epic adventure with a cat who faces the ultimate in kitty evil; and it is a great story with a fast-paced plot in one book.

I loved this book! It had enough twists that I could not put it down for more than 5 minutes, and I cried at the end. Generally the Crowfeather/Leafpool was dissapointing in the end but i belive they will still be together in the next book. I also have high hopes for Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, judging by Squirrelflight's ending. I cant wait for the next book, and for seeing what Stormfur and Brooke are doing there, could they want to join Thunderclan? I wish that Erin Hunter had told us more about the conflict with Brightheart Cloudtail and Daisy, but all in all it is a thrilling read that keeps you hooked till the very end and leaves you begging that the next book will be out sooner!

Warriors Twilight was, in my opinion, not the best in the series. Erin Hunter, or Cherith Baldry and Kate Cary, seem to try to hard to make all the cats relationships with each other go awry. This one really didn't have the adventure or excitement that most of the others have. Instead is was just kind of a sappy love story.

Like the rest of the New Prochecy books, it follows two story lines. One is Leafpool and Crowfeather's. This part is full of deciept as Leafpool and Crowfeather try desperately to be with eachother. Leafpool has to chose between her two great loves... Starclan, and Crowfeater. What will her choice be? The other story line is that of Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw and Asfur. Squirrelflight is spending all of her time with Ashfur, as Bambleclaw groes closer and closer to the traitorous Hawkfrost. In the end, she too finds where her heart truly lies...

Well be ready for a SHOCKER because I was totaly disapointed with the results!!!!!!!!!!! b) Remember when Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight got into that fight? c) Remember our beloved cat Cinderpelt? She has a destiny that no one would even dream of her having!!!!

I think the things that bothered me the most about Sunset was that the completely jumped-up prophecy Yellowfang fed Firestar came down to the death of a single cat. Does anyone else out there feel that if they were told, more or less, that slaughter would drown them in blood, they'd still be waiting for the real thing to happen?
Starclan: Oh no. Yeah, the cat bleeding into the lake is what we meant.
Firestar: Gotcha. Whoof, sure glad that's over.
I think I'd be yelling at my ancestors to get a handle on hyperbole, because I as a Clan leader would have enough to worry about ASIDE from dire threats of war, death, etc., etc. StarClan continually irritates me, because they react in limited ways: A) They refuse to help you; B) They refuse to lay it out pat for you, and instead throw out riddles and obscure prophecy when they DO decide to help you; C) They chide you with the fact that they do know what's coming, and man, it's going to suck, but they can't do anything to stop it; or D) Tell you there's nothing you can do to stop it, either.
And let's not forget that Warrior Code everyone's gotta uphold! There have to be 4 Clans, but not really, because there were 5, and StarClan just decided not to tell you. Warriors, if a Clan dies because of tragedy, neglect, and apathy, that's fine. But don't you dare ruin the sacred laws by making friendships that form us all into one big Clan! Don't forget that StarClan is all-powerful, except when they tell you they aren't, but block the moon out to keep you thinking that. A cat is supposed to help any cat that asks for it, but Clan leaders who don't want to lose face by admitting they have starving elders and sick kits need not obey that rule. And while we're calling a spade a spade, there's not a single good deed of Firestar's that goes unpunished or unnoticed.
The worldbuilding of Warriors is always pounded and broken to fit the plot. Surely, since there are hundreds of other books out there that are actually able to seal every plot hole, there's something better you could buy for your kids?

This book is my favorite because lots of the cats in the book have life changing choices to make. Like Brambleclaw had a choice to make and he stood his ground and killed Hawkfrost .All in all I love this book.

Sunset is defenitely one of the best books in the WARRIORS series! I just had to read the last part over and over again! It's so dramatic and I never liked Hawkfrost, I hated him after he kicked Stormfur out. Great book!!!

I thought this book was good but not good enough for the 5 stars or even the four stars...There were a few parts in the book that were just not something that was good for the story, or so I think...if you want to hear them read on...

1. Ashfur is not the right one for Squirrelflight

2. Brambleclaw is not evil! But if he does Squirrelflight should be able to pull him back!

3. If Ashfur and Squirrelflight become mates I'm not reading the series anymore!

4. How could you make Cinderpelt die! She was so young!

5. How could you break up the true love of Crowfeather and Leafpool?! They are like meant to be and you broke them up! Why?

Three stars in the sky. A traitor within ThunderClan. An uninteresting climax. In TWILIGHT Erin HUnter went astray. Now she comes back insisting she has something good for us. Sadly SUNSET dodders like TWILIGHT before it. Instead of a massive conmfrontation at the end it is Bramble claw and Hawkfrost aruging and Hawkfrost accidentally getting killed.

Stormfur and Brook leave the Tribe for unknown reasons and that story is never wrapped up as is a dying Hawkfrost reveals that there is a traitor within ThunderClan. While in TWILIGHT these problems could have been introduced we are left hanging for the pitiful POWER OF THREE which sounds terrible. We should have followed Graystripes progress before confirming him dead instead of saying 'Yeah well he hasn't shown up forever so maybe I should consider him gone'. Hawkfrost had no big ally like Tigerstar and he is a paper-thin villain, a carbon-copy of Tigerstar. Nothing new appeared in the series finale, just an 'oh well' kind of feeling. PS May I ask what moron thought it would be cool to reincarnate Cinderpelt.

Right from the beginning this book messes with the readers emotions, talking about a cat who’s going to die and they don’t know when. Pulls right at the heart strings.

I think I remember when I first read this, I didn’t see the very subtle clues as to who the cat was but now that I know, it’s easy to see.

The classic cover for this book isn’t as awe-inspiring as the others, it just seems a little busy, and don’t get me started on that new cover. I wish something could have been done with the WindClan moors or the Moonpool. I also wish they hadn’t gone with the uncomfortable close ups, at least on the classic covers, readers could guess at who the cats were.

I think there was a lot going on here so I couldn’t get my full emotions invested when that cat died, even though it was such an emotional part, there was just so much going on around it.

The pace was great for the story but with all that going on, everything seemed rushed. I do like the three stars that are shown to kick off the next series.

I think Twilight needs more romance. Like in Dargerous Path There's a lot of romace between Fireheart and Sandstorm. There's very little in the new prophecy, which dissapoints me, there needs to be some happiness in the book. There's a huge cliff hanger at the end, but don't get your hopes up like I did. If you want to know who dies, look at the cover and think who that could be.

I havent read it yet, but I cannot wait until i can read it. with the climax at the end, and all the loose ends that have to be tied up, no doubt it will be the bomb! Rusty has gone a long way, firepaw, fireheart, and now, firestar.

I was keyed up for the first few books but they seem to have lost their touch. I mean it was all so good and then Erin Hunter leaves out so many mysteries. Now I feel like I don't even like the series anymore.

In the copy of my book that I bought, Theres some pages missing but it seems that it was published like that! I have two of the same chapters and missing pages but it also seems like the book was published like that. On page 240, it then goes to page 270. What's up with that? Did anyone else buy this book like this?

I get so into this book that at times it made me cry.It feels as if the things that are happening to the cats are happening to you. When a cat dies in the book you feel as if you knew them personally.
