PLEASE let there be a full book based on this short story. It was totally worth the price, but I am totally addicted now and more than willing to pay full price for a complete novel based on Ivar and Sasha.

Still doing it right! I've read all other books in this series....this book makes the villian a lovable character. I was actually cheering for him - who knew! Ms. Callahan is an excellent writer to humanize this guy! Thank you. Cannot wait to read the full story.

I was very disappointed.I expected something better from Coreene Callahan than just great sex. There was no story plot at all. I have enjoyed the rest of her Dragonfury stories very much, but not this one.

I realize this was a short story but it really left you hanging. I think it should have had at least one or two more chapters to set these chartaters up to have some closer. Or a new full book on the two. Even a villain needs a love life.

Ok Ivan was taken down by a female, the mirror image of him. I hope for all the fans sake we get maybe possibly a conclusion to this little tib bit??? For me at least I will be pissed. So Ivan has a weakness or more feelings than he lets on, wouldn't it be funny if she got pregnant from that encounter. Lol. Anyways good read a must. Need another fix of dragon.

This is a short story in the Dragonfury series. I really loved it!
Ivar is a very driven man. He is a scientist, manipulating dragon DNA to create female dragons, and bent on eradicating the humans off the face of the planet. I actually like Ivar, strange as that may seem to some, because he does have a ruthless streak. He is a man of conviction, but I think he is a little blinded by his hatred on relying on humans to procreate.
Sasha Cooper is a woman I would like to know better. She is a shy person normally, but on an impulse, she indulges in one night of passion that could change her life forever.
I was looking forward to reading this short story, as I have really begun to love this series. I have been wanting a story from Ivar's point of view for a while, so when I heard this book was being written I was very excited. The only disappointment I had was that the story was too short! The story was really fun to read. The passion and attraction that these two characters have for each other just about burned the pages! I think that Ivar has met his match in Sasha. She is a scientist too, so they have something in common. I actually had a smile on my face at Ivar's reaction to Sasha near the end; his panic was a bit comical. I could actually picture the scene quite clearly, and I giggled at the images in my minds eye. I am now looking forward to continuing reading the Dragonfury series, and cannot wait for Venom's story.
Coreene Callahan has written another fantastic paranormal romance. She is fast becoming one of my favourite authors to read. Her books are fast paced, exciting and extremely addictive! I still have an issue with the f-bombs used, but I have come to realise that these characters are what they are, and I wouldn't change them at all.
Due to the use of bad language and the explicit sexual scenes, I do not recommend this book for younger readers. However, I highly recommend this book if you love erotic paranormal romances or books with sexy dragon shifters! - Lynn Worton

When I saw the blurb and read the couple for this short were going to be Ivar, the main antagonist in the Dragonkind series, and Sasha, his apparent mate, I was skeptical. Ivar is a very well written bad guy and while sometimes I kind of agree with his reasons, his methods are truly horrible and he’s definitely a BAD guy. Yet…when I read this I found myself intrigued by the way he thinks and the way he chose to process certain life events. Sasha was an amazing character and if I’m honest absolutely perfect for him. Their hookup was a little….unbelievable at first…but as soon as the initial what? Passed I was very much into their conversations and thoughts/feelings. Though this story was wrapped up pretty neatly by the end I still wanted more. Even though I have strongly disliked Ivar from the first novel I now want him to get his happy ending too. Though hell if I know how she is going to make that work! One of the many reasons I am a fan of Mrs. Callahan. Obviously I recommend this to any fan of the paranormal romance genre, though I will add that I feel like the first three books in the series should be read first. At least. If you read all four then the short everything will make perfect sense to you but if you read the first three you won’t miss any major plot points or how weird it is to actually be rooting for Ivar.

I love the Dragonfury series. I just wish Ms. Callahan would write the series faster. I've read this book already in a previous group of authors combined books release. It's a cute fun sexy read but no suspense. Little mystery and leaves the door wide open for more between Sasha and Ivar. I wish it was like the previous 4 books in the series with intrigue suspense mystery action packed dragon drama... but no it's just a one night stand that leaves you with a wide open ending. I love the writers style but hate it takes her so long to get another book out. I actually loose interest in following her releases because she is so slow. I guess that is my only major complaint. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because her Dragonfury series is really good. Maybe I'm just to impatient?!?

Ms Callahan did an awesome job bringing Dragonfury’s villain to his knees. Who knew Ivar had a soft side much less sexy side. I surely didn’t expect it.
Fury of Fate was originally a part of a short story book set called My Bloody Valentine. If you didn’t already know, it is a novella connected to the Dragonfury series. This is Ivar’s short story.
Fury of Fate starts shortly after Fury of Desire had ended. Ivar is grieving the loss of his comrades when he meets a woman who will knock him on his ass; figuratively and literally. A match for this villain indeed, Sasha only plans to use him. Despite his rough and dangerous persona that Ivar projects, she is not fazed by him. She has her mind set to take only what she needs.
Wouldn’t you know it, Ivar gives to her.
Coreene shows us Ivar’s vulnerable time of his life as he grieves his fallen comrades. She also shows us a bit, no, a lot of his sexy side. I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think I would like him but reading about this side of him is certainly an eye opener. There maybe hope for him yet. She did an excellent job pulling me into Ivar’s story and left me wanting for more.
Yes, there is a bit of a cliffhanger. Ivar does not get his HEA…just yet. But I’ll tell you this much, You will look at him with a different light.

Love this story! If you haven't read the Dragonfury series, you must must try them! So much romance as well as thrilling adventure. I love my Prime Unlimited. For ten bucks a month I can read as many books as possible. And that's a lot. (Retirement is the best ;). All six of Coreene 's books are read and listen free. Audible is wonderful.

I have completely and totally loved the Dragonfury books and can't wait to read Venom's story. However, this novella left a bit too much open for my taste. It was a cliffhanger and Ivar's personality did a 180 degree change. I was excited to see that this was Ivar's story and I began wondering about the type of woman that would draw the Bad Guy and ensnare him. This story felt unfinished and it needs to be finished.
It is still well written as Coreene Callahan is an excellent author but it left more questions than answers and I am left still wanting closure.

So, obviously this isn't finished. I really liked this other side of Ivar. I liked Sasha. LOL. Man she really gave him a run for his money...really freaked him out. She nearly kills him for accidentally tapping into the Meridian! He flees and thats the end of it but I know its not the end. So, a bit disappointing because of that fact but a nice teaser. Still not sure of his motives and everything but we learn a bit about Ivar and he used to be friends with Bastian. Sasha is special that I could tell. Time will tell!

I love this series and I don't think I ever looked at Ivar in this way,hot hot oh yummmmm?
If you haven't read this series then you need to order it up, you will not be sorry. I just wish they would come out sooner. I am looking forward to Venom's story in March.? Every book is so so good, and just make you smile, and laugh and want one of these Dragons for your very own.

Read this between Wick and Venom's story. Acknowledged Ivar has met his kryptonite. Other reviews have stated its to quick and abrupt, however it is just meant to be a glimpse into who Ivar is and possible could be. I never thought Ivar was "evil, not like lothair or Rhodin. Just a scientist so absorbed in his research and cause with no concept of human norms and morality. He isn't human don't expect him to follow our rules.

I loved this little peek into what Ivar is like when he's not terrorizing humans. And as usual, I love Coreene's characters. I think Sasha is a wonderful, strong female character with her own goals. I do hope this story continues, either with its own book or through the rest of the books in the series! I'm curious to see if Sasha can make Ivar change his ways! ;)

I was on the fence about reading this short story about Ivar, but I'm glad I decided to take a chance. I'm very curious to see where this leads. I was disappointed at the end, but only because I wanted to know more.

Who knew Ivar could be "human!" Suffering from the loss of warrior and best friend along with multiple failures in his plans for Dragonkind to deliver a fierce blow to humans, Ivar wasn't expecting Sasha. She evoked passion, gentleness, and a sense of peace from his chaotic world. Not only that, she surprised Ivar, which never happened. This is a must read teaser for fans of the Dragon Fury series!
