The Crow brothers are awesome! I loved Jet, Tulsa & now Rivers. Who doesn’t love a hot rocker! Rivers was so much more.

A childhood love that got a second chance. Rivers & Stella’s Story has so many emotions throughout it. The love shared between them in the past was a wonderful part in flashbacks. The scenes in the present where they find the love & trust in each other again just melts your heart.

Stella has taken on so much, was broken & found the strength to go through life but not really living. She has tried to protect her sister & dad & endured pain no one should have to alone. Rivers comes back into her life & she learns to feel again.

Together they heal each other & find love again. This second chance romance should not be missed. Rivers will melt your heart!

I've enjoyed the previous books but Rivers is my favourite in the series by a mile.

I just loved Rivers, his story, his personality the relationship with his brothers and his love interest it was all perfect.

So we've got to know Rivers as the quiet more measured guy in the group but now we find out about his past and his biggest regret. I really don't want to say anything about his girl and their story that would be a big spoiler. I loved getting the story in past & present tense i always feel that it gives a fuller story.

The author takes us through all the painful moments, I got angry I was sad and my heart broke for both of them. The writing is superb with the author pitching it perfectly. All the guys are in the story it was great to catch up with them all.

Oh boy, I've been waiting for Rivers' story since the first book and this did not disappoint! I love a second chance at love story and this delivered. I loved how much Rivers feels for Stella, even though they've not been together for quite a while. I honestly wasn't too sure about my feelings towards Stella; she seemed so back and forth with her feelings and actions at the start, it kinda got on my nerves to be honest. Especially since their initial relationship was all happy rainbows and unicorns and no secrets. And then the bombshell was dropped about Stella's past and then it all made sense. That made for one helluva a twist! The "resolution" left me feeling a bit frustrated, and the actions of one character was confusing, but still, this is a solid addition for this series!

I thought I love Jet, then came Tulsa. I thought I loved Tulsa now we have Rivers. These Crow boys are absolutely amazing. There were so many things in the story that we unexpected and so necessary to make it all work. I loved finally getting to see what the quiet and reserved Rivers Crow was about. This story rocked my world in a good and bad way...ok, even the bad was good. A second chance romance that definitely lived up and exceeded my expectations. Rivers and Stella had a bad run of luck, but they managed to find their way and I fell for this troubled Crow boy even more. I would say you can’t top him, but you have continued to do with each book in this series. Looking forward to Ridge! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Can’t wait to continue this journey!

I’m gonna start with wow. I love the Crow Brothers and getting to know each of them. Rivers story definitely hit me with lots of emotions (warning-tissues will be required, more than once). To finally get into his head and his heart was a massive emotional roller coaster. To see him so beat up and lost when he first went home to see Stella was tough. To see how they evolved, from past to present, and all the hoopla in between was pretty epic. She is a tough brave soul, to his loving protective soul. I totally loved their story, loved him as much as his brothers. I’m sad to read the end, but there will definitely be re-reads, back to back to back. This is definitely a favorite series of mine. It’ll be yours too, so jump in if you haven’t already

I loved this book. It was a quick read. I was in a small rut with the other abundance of books I'm reading. I know when I read Tulsa I was able to pick it up and read it really quickly and loved it. I had the same experience with this book. I love S.L Scott's work. I do love Tulsa's story just a little more. But this one is still fantastic. It has a more personal story and for a lack of a better word... it hits you in the feels. I cannot wait for the next book, Ridge to come out. I really wish I had been able to read Jet's story. I love learning more and more about this family. They all have such big hearts and are so amazing. Honestly I said that I like Tulsa's story more... That may have just been at the beginning. By the end of this book it was just so difficult to not absolutely love the whole family more. There was a lot of healing for Rivers in this book. Meeting Stella was very interesting. You learn a lot about her at first I didn't like her or maybe I didn't want to loving the Crow brothers. But the more you learn about her you really connect to her or at least I really did, her and her sister. I love S.L Scott's writing and I cannot wait to finish this series and maybe go back to read some of her other writing, As well as waiting to see what she comes out with next!

WOW! I think I am in love with Rivers Crow of The Crow Brothers band. His story was a hard one to read because of all the pain he felt losing his Mom at 17 and the loss of his soulmate a year later. Then there is Stella Fellowes woman Rivers destroyed with lies and left to live the hell that her life had been. Stella's story broke my heart. When Rivers comes back 5 years later to claim what should have been his all along. S.L. Scott knows how to pull the write kind of emotions from her characters to tell an emotionally charged story that will stay with her readers for a long time to come. I highly recommend this book and the previous books in this series. I cannot wait to read Meadow and Bridge's story next.

When I read Tulsa, I knew I wanted Rivers' story bad! The author did not disappoint! Rivers is quite the persistant man to get his woman back. The love of his life, Stella. When they parted years ago, she was left on her own to deal with the craziness of her father. She did things to keep her sister safe, even when it was sacrificing herself. This story tugged on my heartstrings. Rivers' really cares sooooo much for Stella, and would do anything to help her. Goodness, he is just the ultimate guy. I loved that he loved her so much and has over the years. Nothing was going to stop him from being with the love of his life. I'm excited for Ridge's story. The brothers all have their happy ending!!! YAY!

I said I was waiting for the story of Rivers from the moment he was introduced to us in Spark and now that I've read it and experienced all that is Rivers, I want everyone else to meet him and experience it too! This was everything and more than I wanted in this book -- from my point of view, I personally feel Rivers is more intense and heartbreaking than Jet and Tulsa, but beautiful at the same time. Your heart will break for Stella and swoon for Rivers and although this is a standalone, please read all 3 books. To fully engage and appreciate each brother, you must read them all -- don't miss out on this series. If you love rock and roll romance with some angst thrown in and sweet, sexy times, you will love the Crow Brothers!

Stella and Rivers is a story of second chance and how in order to get that second chance you have to lay your soul out on the line.

This was emotional and rough.

* Very good storyline with a not expected turn in the last part of the story.
* Great main and secondary characters and because of the previous books I feel familiar with them.
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Plenty and meaningful dialogues that keeps the story on track.
* The love is still strong between Stella and Rivers and that is clear from the first meeting
* Love scenes is sweet, teasing and steamy hot.

This book had me hooked from the first moment.

S.L. Did a perfect job with Rivers. Stella and Rivers are complicated but oh so perfect together. Their souls are one their hearts are one. Rivers is so sure of their love from the start and never backs down. I love a man who fights for what’s his. And what a so,I’d man. When he makes a promise he keeps it even for scum like Nikki. Stella has had it rough but she doesn’t realize how strong she really is. Her and Rivers belong together.

Okay I went through Jett and Tulsa always wondering about Rivers and finally S.L. Scott answered my questions only making me want more. These two is like what Romeo and Juliet would have been if they were still alive. A secret is what teared them apart and now Rivers is determined to get his woman even if it means bringing up the past. Now have to say what Stella went through is heartbreaking yet made her who she is stronger. S.L. Scott and her rock stars are just amazing cannot wait to see what she does with Ridge and Meadow. Awesome sauce.

Rivers Crow is officially my favorite Crow brother! He may be the quiet brother, but he is loud and clear when it comes to his love Stella. This book is all about second chances. Not only a second chance at love but for Rivers and Stella individually too. Both carry burdens that consume them in grief and guilt. It keeps them closed off from their family and friends, but it's pretty magical reading their transformation as they rebuild their relationship! It wouldn't be a SL Scott book if there were not crazy plot twists and a little trouble from the boys of The Resistance! This book is fun with some laugh out loud moments, but also some scary and gut wrenching ones too. It is a page turner for sure!

I'm giving this one a beautiful 4.5*.
It was a really emotional read. It was hard to read what happened to both Stella and Rivers as we learn why they broke up and what went on in their lives as they were apart.

My heart was so broken while reading what she went through and how strong she was without even realising it. And good God in heaven how much I love Rivers and his beautiful heart. I was rooting so hard kfor them to work everything out - every word and action was on point and so right I almost didn't wanted to end.

And now I can't wait to see what S. L. Scott has in store for Ridge.

I adore Scott’s writing, and this is another 5 star for me just as Stella is Rivers North Star and he is her crow.

I've been in love with Rivers since we first met him in the previous books and damn! He is everything I hoped for and more! Rivers knows how to use words and poetry - that's for sure! You can't help but adore all his sides.

The book itself is really captivating and is the kind of book in which you know something happened in the past and you can't put it down because you need to know what happened! I absolutely adored each page.

It's quite romantic, but of course there are many steamy parts!

This book gutted me, breaking my heart over and over again!
It is intense, beautiful, elevating, crushing, torturing…
It tore me to pieces, put me back together only to tear me to pieces again…
This must be the best second chance novel I have ever read!

The twists and turns of the plot left me gasping for air, suffocated me at times, with my heart being in my mouth. They caused goosbumps and almost killed me with the immensely high tension and suspense! I had to put down this book time and again to just breathe…
The characters are plastic and vivid, the main characters adorable, warm and caring…

This book is everything and more!

Oh, I do love a second chance romance. And it's a rockstar second chance romance which makes it even better. Because who doesn't have a rockstar fantasy (I'm looking at you Adam Levine)?

SL Scott knows how to bring the feels. I adore her writing and will always read her books. Rivers proves she has a way with words and knows what she's doing.

Sparks are reignited, chemistry is off the charts explosive, and the pain and heartache are so real, so raw that you'll want to hold Rivers and Stella until they are put together again.

Told only like SL Scott can tell a story, you'll be cheering for this couple from the very beginning.

Rivers Crow. It's a shame he's a fictional character. Cause this guy ... he ripped my heart out. His love for Stella is epic. He's always wondered what if. Now that he's on a break, he's gonna get to answer to that question. Thing is though, Stella isn't the girl she was. That girl is long gone. Replaced by a woman who's allot stronger than she knows. But, Rivers Crow, is still that boy she fell in love with. The man he is now, she's not sure if she can trust him with her heart, or her secrets. There is sooo much I'd love to tell you. So many parts of this book that quickly became my favorite. You'll just have to read to find your own.

The chemistry that Stella and Rivers pulled at my heartstrings. Their past, their pain, their love....the characters need to get past their painful pasts. This love story is definitely one to pick up and read.

Rivers is a stand-alone but I wish I would’ve read the previous Crow Brother books. Looks like I have more books added to my to be read list!

OH MY! I knew this book was going to be good, but DANG! Although I absolutely LOVE all of the Crow brothers, Rivers is definitely in the lead. This sexy, misunderstood, broody rock star fights for a second chance with the only girl he ever loved, and the chance to prove he’s worthy of the woman she’s become. Stella’s had to endure unspeakable hardships in the 5 yrs since Rivers tore her world inside out. She’s a survivor against all odds save one, Rivers Crow. He’s her blackbird that keeps her going. She’s his shining star that lights his way. Their struggle to find their way back to each other is not 4 the faint of heart. LOL! A MUST READ!

This series is one of my favorites from S. L. Scott, but she outdid herself with Rivers!

A beautiful second chance romance featuring Rivers, a broken rock star, and Stella, the girl her left behind. Now five years later, they come face to face and it sets off an emotional whirlwind!

This book had me nearly in tears. Rivers and Stella’s story was a little bit sad, a lot emotional and simply an amazing second chance romance. I loved these two characters. The writing is phenomenal. Scott infused emotion and chemistry into every single word!

A second chance you don’t want to miss

Well let me start by staying that I have read several of S.L. Scott's book and have really enjoyed them all. The Crow Brothers have been great stories, I read Spark and Tulsa and loved them both. I can certainly say that Rivers did not disappoint. Rivers is an emotional ride filled with love and laughter but also a few gut retching scenes. It is hard not to fall in love with these three brothers and their stories. Rivers can certainly be read as a stand alone, however I recommend reading all three books because they are so good and you will really get to learn about them and see the loyalty they have for one another.

Awesome story, I was hooked with this author when I read the Reckoning and since her stories have not disappoint. My heart rejoiced for River & Stella and Lordy all that alpha testosterone coming from River over his Stella had me swooning lol, listen this is a awesome read a very well written story so don't pass this up, so looking forward to Dave & Meadow story ?? so not to long ok ?!!!!!

Rivers and Stella found love together at a young age, but incidents occurred in their life that destroyed the love they shared. Years later, Rivers returns to find Stella a very changed person from the girl he loved. Horrific situations had affected Stella's life and she had to fight to feel loved again. Eventually they both realized that their love was still there and they fought to re-establish their feelings for each other. Through several traumatic obstacles their love triumphed and they ended with an HEA. This book was well written and had this reader going thru several emotions.

Rivers Crow is the quiet one. He is gorgeous, family oriented, and protective. He recognizes his mistakes and is trying to make them better and get his life back to where he envisioned it to be at one point. His family is number 1 and he would do anything for them, including getting thrown into jail. He’s thoughtful and contemplative. A very talented songwriter and bass guitar player.

Stella Fellowes is a survivor. She’s teaching, a job she doesn’t really love anymore. She’s been abandoned by most of the people she loves in her life: her mom, her dad, her boyfriend, Rivers. I love the Crow Brothers. I love Rivers. This book left me wanting more. The first half felt like no real plot line. I often wondered where this was going to go. Lots of feelings and words, but nothing really happening. The second half really took off plot wise. I would’ve loved to get to really know these characters better.

Wow, I just love this book, but how can you not enjoy the Crow Brothers. I was so looking forward to Rivers story and the author did not disappoint me. What would you do if your ex-turned back up after five years?
The flow of this book was wonderful and even if you have not read any of the other two books you can still fully appreciate these great characters. It's full of love, hate, trust, misunderstanding, forgiveness, suspense, lies, loyalty, family but most of all a second chance. Rockstars and second chance loves! Sign me up. I was all in for this story and I loved it! I swooned. I cursed at my kindle. I was so emotional reading this and of all the stories in this series, I think this one was my favorite. (Have I said that before? Maybe... They just keep getting even better.) I am in love with these characters and I want to read more about them all. This book definitely took me by surprise though. There were some twists and definitely some turns that I did not see coming. I can't wait to see what S.L. Scott has in store for us next!

Rivers Crow has the ability to grab you by your heart and make you fall in love. I've read all the Crow Brothers books and this one is pulled heartstrings I wasn't aware I had.

Rivers and Stella have a very emotional past that leads them both on different paths, and when they reconnect the sparks fly. Stella and Rivers have to overcome obstacles that are constantly being thrown their way. Learning to love and trust again after heartbreak isn't easy but they prove that it can be done. You won't be let down of you take a chance on Rivers and Stella.

This was such a beautiful story. I am a sucker for a broken rock star. I have been looking forward to River's story and was not disappointed!! I loved River and Stella's second chance at love. It is not an in your face, action packed read. It's an emotion packed, chemistry filled read. You could feel their love story and their pain. Stella was a character I felt very protective of and River was so in love with her it was painful at times that they were apart. It's a great read and I look forward to the next book in this series.

S.L. Scott did a great job on Rivers. The book had a great plot and it was well written. It was filled with emotions. I was on an emotional rollercoaster. I couldn't put the book down. River and Stella were strong characters, that have been through a lot. They were good for each other. Their connection and chemistry was strong. They were made for one another. Love these Crow brothers. Though there is no denying River's is my favorite. A story filled with heart breaking, gut wrenching angst and I LOVED it!
River's is a famed rockstar. Stella was his high school sweetheart.

I think Rivers may be my favorite Crow brother, but don't tell the others!! There was something about Rivers that just drew me in & made me fall in love with him! It definitely doesn't hurt that he's a sexy rockstar & that he's in a band with his equally good-looking brothers! I Truly enjoyed Rivers story! Loved this book! A wonderful addition to this series. The characters have amazing chemistry together. I love how this family is so strong and loyal to each other as well as the people they consider extended family. This story like the other two books pulls you in until the end and leaves you excited for the next book. If you love second chance romances I recommend that you read this book you will not be disappointed. You will not be able to put this book down.

This story has such an amazing expression of thoughts that fits the story so well. Time after time little phrases could easily turn into lyrics. While this story has many trigger scenes be aware, it shows survival, courage and how much love can expand the characters life of they make good choices. Enjoy this story but even more enjoy the authors expression of thought as it flows to the rhythm to remain true to the characters themselves. Enjoy.

Crow Brothers Band their characters are believable, honest and caring. The female leads in their stories are fairly dark and covering physical abuse by former males in their lives.

Not exactly light reading. I found myself skipping alot of the details as they were too intense for me. Recommend reading as the brothers are really worth the read.

This is the third in a series about the Crow brothers, a rock band that has finally hit it big time :) You have watched Rivers sulk through life the last few books, pining for his lost love, Stella. I'm in love with the Crow brothers. This was a sweet second chance story between Rivers and Stella his 1st love. A misunderstanding lead to 5 years apart. Rivers could not have been more swoon worthy winning Stella over. I wish there would have been dialogue between Stella and his brothers wives. I love when Johnny and Dex made an appearance.

This was so good! Rivers loved Stella from the moment he met her. When something happened and they broke up he never recovered. His band is successful but his heart is still broken. Their story is sweet and filled with forgiveness. When danger occurs and secrets are exposed you see just how strong love can be.

Rivers and Stella story, they have known each other since teenagers, but a misunderstanding caused them to follow different paths. This is a second chance romance, their feelings are there, it will make you feel them as well, they both deserve to be together, you will fall in love with Rivers Crow.

I was so excited to read this. I mean, who wouldn't after reading the blurb right? And it was an exciting couple of chapters... but then after a while the momentum of my excitement slowed down... I'm a huge romantic sap, and I get "cheesy", I do... but there were lines in there that were really unrealistically cheesy. I'm sorry...

I know these folks are inlove but we're talking about a rockstar— albeit considered an artist, and artists have a way with words—who at some point, did drugs and everything that a rockstar does... and a hometown girl, who's an esteemed educator that had baggage the size of her home state...

I'm sorry, I really wanted to give it a perfect score and I can't imagine how hard it is putting together a story... but there were parts where I feel like don't make sense aside from the unrealistic proclamations of love... the push and pull was annoying but of course its part of it... to suddenly decide to go back and rekindle what once was after years? To not figure out an immediate solution to what broke them in the first place? It took him a couple days to decide to ask permission from that crazy girl to break the promise? and that situation with the undercover cop also raised my eyebrows... four years and nobody suspected even just a little thing?

I love rockstar romances! They're an escape... an indulgence and one of my favorite storylines... but this one, I feel like it fell a wee bit short. Honestly, I was a tad disappointed. I expected so much... I put it up there you know? Don't get me wrong, all in all it isn't bad, bad... The story actually picked up in the middle then towards the end.

I hope Ridge's book is better...

I'm thinking Rivers is my new favorite Crow brother. He had it all for me and when him and Stella were on the pages together, I kept waiting for my kindle to burst into flames. Plus it had such an emotional tug on my soul that I kept a box of tissues close by. This book had it all!

I swear each book in this series is better than the last! I am so in love with these brothers!! WHEW! I feel like I waited forever for this one, but it was so worth the wait! This is an emotional story that is worth every tear I cried! I LOVE RIVERS!! 5 huge stars!

Excellent read as Rivers finally gets a second chance with the girl he's always loved. Having all the fame and money hasn't made him happier. The only way he'll ever be happy is to make things right with Stella. He returns to Austin to do just that!

I think this is the best one of the Crow Brothers so far. I love how rivers was able to help himself then go after what he wanted. I loved this book. S.l. Scott gets me sucked in every time. I only put it down when I couldn’t hold me eyes open. Great book a must read.

Wow .loved it .it sucks u in form the beginning and keeps u going to the end of the story .i read this book in one sitting, cause I couldn’t put it down till I was finished of it . I have loved all of the crow men .cant wait to read ridge’s book

This book had it all... heartbreak, drama, and hot rock stars. What more can you ask for? I love Rivers and Stella and their love story. I was an emotional wreck reading this... I couldn’t stop reading once I started. It’s worth reading.

Rivers and Stella have come full circle to find a love that never died. This is an emotional and heartwarming story. Each of the Crow brothers books are exceptional and I can't wait for Ridge's story.

I don't know how I feel about this novel. It doesn't come close to being amazing, like the first two novels of the series. It was hard to get into the storyline. This lacks certain interesting point throughout the story. It was well, boring.
Stella is Rivers ex girlfriend from his hometown. He goes back to woo her one more time. She is sketchy at best. There is just something about her character that I didn't like. She feels to fake.
Rivers is one of my favorite characters from this series. He has the mysterious air about him that draws you in.
Mainly this is just a let down after how awesome the first two novels were.

I do love S.L. Scott books however this book although an okay storyline, was a bit long-winded, repetitive, the bit over-the-top sappy. No one talks the way these main characters do, let alone a rockstar. Just a bit too much. I had a hard time finishing it and did a lot of speed-reading to get to the end.

This is the sixth book I’ve read by SL Scott and am saddened to say it was a major bust. The storyline is so unoriginal I feel I’ve read this book three times already; even had to double check. But nope, never read it before. The effortless way in which they get back is also too unrealistic for me, sorry. Hope to read more, improved books by Scott in the future!
