Do you love small town romances with interconnected stories? Think Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove or Susan Mallery’s Fool’s Gold. That’s what you get with Emily March’s Eternity Springs. It is set in a small Colorado town that seemingly has healing properties. All the couples featured in this series have needed to heal in some way and they find their happily ever after.
In Dreamweaver Trail we meet up with Gabi and Flynn. Gabi has been in Eternity Springs for a couple years, serving on the police force, meeting a brother she never knew. She’s been in the background for a couple books, but now it’s her turn to shine. She’s realized that she’s not meant to be a cop and goes on a vacation. She meets Flynn, falls in love, has her heart broken, runs home. Of course, that’s what the blurb tells us, so I’m not giving a lot away.
Gabi and Flynn are both hurting from events in their lives and are looking to just get away. I enjoyed watching them get to know each other and fall in love. As with all relationships, there is miscommunication and trust issues they have to overcome and taking that journey with them was a joy… and of course it wasn’t an easy ride.
Nothing about either character really stood out as unique , but together they worked. It was really the journey that stood out to me. There were a couple plot twists I wasn’t expecting, but found they enhanced the story. And I really enjoyed the subplot line revolving around Gabi discovering glass blowing.
All-in-all, it was a satisfying trip to Eternity Springs. My heartstrings were touched and I found myself anxiously turning the pages. I can’t wait to meet up with the folks from this town again.

I am not often rendered speechless - as those who know me are well aware. However, of all of the wonderful books I've read thus far in the Eternity Springs series, Dreamweaver Trail has had the greatest emotional impact on me. Two hours after I finished it, I was still awake, turning the story over in my mind, thinking of the shocking twists and turns I never saw coming. I laughed, I cried (four times), and I was absolutely terrified twice in the course of this amazing story.
Flynn Brogan is a man trying to start a new life, a private life, out from under the intense pain and publicly humiliating scrutiny of his past. He divests himself of nearly everything that connects him to his old life, and escapes to a tropical island to take stock of his future - and take refuge from the relentless paparazzi. There he meets Gabriella Romano, a beautiful, courageous, charismatic woman who has come to the same island in search of meaning - to find the passion she lost after a traumatic event in Eternity Springs.
The chemistry is initially wary, but ultimately overpowering and they fall under each other's spell. Their passion is palpable. They are truly living the dream ... until ... it all falls apart in the worst possible way. In a heartbeat, they are thrust into a violent confrontation that will change them both. And it only gets worse before it gets better.
Fortunately, they end up -- separately -- in Eternity Springs, hiding from what happened and hiding from each other. Lost, confused, hurting, and yearning for the dream they shared oh-so-briefly, the healing power of Eternity Springs works its magic. It's a tough road - Flynn has been badly damaged, nearly beyond repair. Only the strength of a woman with a warrior's heart can tear down the walls and allow him to truly live again.
I can't say enough about the power of this book and the talent of its author. If you haven't started this series, or if you haven't read this particular novel from it, do not wait another day.

Emily March has once again perfectly balanced the romance and reality of small town living. The characters are appealing, complex, and fully engage our emotions from the very first page. I loved that that the conflict that could arise from a romantic relationship between 2 people who have faced a tragedy together.was handled with delicate respect and realism. The developing relationship between Evie and Taryn had just as much emotional impact as the relationship between Evie and Brodie.
I was also very touched by the emotional angst of the Flynn who believed that trouble followed him in all his relationships. His persecution by the press and his father was insightful and moving and the resolution illuminating! It was great to see the residents of Eternity Springs accepted him. I really can't say enough about Emily and her gift for intricately involving her readers in the lives of her characters. From the moment you start the first chapter you feel time slowing, the mountain air filling your lungs with a fresh sense of purpose, neighbors caring for neighbors, and love blossoming before your eyes. By the time you reverently close the back cover of Eternity Springs Novel you will feel refreshed and renewed by this charming town... where it is easy to believe in the miracles... of Eternity Springs!
Eternity Springs and the people in it have seen their fair share of heartache and it's nice to be able to catch up with all the people we know from previous books whose stories of sorrow, hope, love and second chances have already touched our hearts. The characters in these novels are warm and real and the town is in a beautiful setting. The story began to drag just the tiniest bit in the middle and I wish the last scene had played out a little longer but all in all, March comes through with another tender romance making fans eager to read the next book in the series immediately.

After another lonely Valentine’s Day, Gabi Romano decides to trade snow and cold for the sun and sand as she dog sits in the gorgeous Caribbean. But what she doesn’t anticipate is finding two passions- creating glass art and the mysterious Flynn Brogan, her next door neighbor. When she meets Flynn, sparks fly but when their island fling goes down in the flames of violence, Gabi finds out that the Flynn she knows is a façade and living a lie. Heartsick, Gabi returns to Eternity Springs and finds a way to move on with her life without Flynn and the passion they shared together.
Flynn knew his secrets would come out but he expected to be the one to tell Gabi himself, not the media but when he is caught by enemies he didn’t see coming, his desire to survive overcomes his desire to make things right with Gabi. Until Flynn moves to Eternity Springs for the winter and Gabi returns home for the Christmas holidays. This time the healing power of this small mountain town will show these two bruised warriors that love can heal the damaged of hearts and second chances are right there waiting for you…if you take the chance.
Emily March has penned a delightful addition to her Eternity Springs series with Gabi Romano’s story in DREAMWEAVER TRAIL. I love this series with a passion. It has characters you can’t help but fall in love with, a serene yet enjoyable setting that makes me long to visit anytime of the year and so much more. This is an author who is a wonderful storyteller, who knows how to hook her readers in and doesn’t let up until the very end of the book. She lets the characters take over and tell their story which is what makes this series so enjoyable in my opinion. The writing is tight, story flows smoothly and the few twists in the story left me flipping the pages quickly to see what happens next for Gabi and Flynn.
We met the intrepid Gabi Romano in earlier books in the Eternity Springs series and now it was her time to find her own happy ever after. Restless and listless, she finds her passion on the beaches of the lush Caribbean in the form of creating glass art. But that is just one side of her passion especially when she meets Flynn and then all bets are off. She falls head over heels and loves the time she is able to spend with him. Until danger and violence crash into their idyllic fling and tear these two apart. I got to admit I loved seeing Gabi find her passion for a career in the form of creating glass art. She is lively, strong and capable heroine who is more than a match for the damaged Flynn Brogan. Flynn is at first charming, delightful and quite sexy but after the danger that catches him unaware, he is damaged and living in the shadows. It will take all the strength Gabi has to heal his heart and soul in order for these two to have a chance at happy ever after. I got to admit Flynn grew on me after the attack that left Gabi reeling and running scared. Flynn became more than a rich man hiding out but a wounded warrior who hid his scars inside and out as best he could, letting the shadows hide him away. There was a line in the book that really spoke to me. It was about life is worth living, even if we stumble, it was worth it because life is made up of stumbles and falls. Flynn needed to learn that and Gabi was the perfect person to show him that even as the healing powers of Eternity Springs worked its magic on them. There were new characters introduced that left me eager to know more of and some returning ones that left a smile on my face. This is an author who knows how to create a wide diverse cast of characters to appeal to anyone who picks up one of these books.
DREAMWEAVER TRAIL can be read as a stand alone title in the series but it is best read in order because you might not get the back story as complete for some of the characters there. I got to admit I am eager to see where this author goes next in the series and can’t wait to start the next book in the series even if it is to reconnect with a few old friends as well as meet some new ones. If you enjoy small town stories with a touch of magic, hope and more then you will definitely find the Eternity Springs series to be right up your alley. So run-don’t walk-to grab DREAMWEAVER TRAIL and settle in for hours of reading pleasure.

I am so glad to finally see Gabi Romano get her happy ever after. Gabi has had a rough time after joining the Destiny Springs PD and having to shoot and kill someone in the line of duty. When the story opens, she has been drifting, helping her mom at the Inn, house sitting, basically trying to find her niche. When she takes a job house sitting on a tropical island, she meets the one man who understands her life all too well. Flynn Brogan has lived a nightmare, having been falsely accused of his wife's murder, losing his friends and family, and being hounded by paparazzi. Gabi doesn't know about this facet of his life as he keeps it from her.
A horrible attack and resulting deaths, along with the truth of Flynn's history causes Gabi to flee the island and return home. Flynn's very existence is threatened when his tortures go from mental to physical and his life is totally changed. He ends up in Destiny Springs looking for some of it's vaunted healing nature and maybe, deep in his heart, a chance to find a way back to Gabi.
I enjoyed this book because Gabi and Flynn are such interesting characters, both scarred by love and searching for a new beginning. Just when they find some peace with each other, life intervenes and they are torn apart. I appreciated that they both had to trust their feelings and really want to make the relationship work the second time around. Flynn is always hiding who he is and doesn't get what he wants until he can open up to Gabi. Gabi needs to trust in her feelings and go for the prize wholeheartedly.
As in all series, it is fun to see what is going on with the other characters and meeting new ones. There is an excerpt from the next book in the series and it looks like another winner in what has been an excellent series to read. When I got ready to read Dreamweaver Trail, I went back and re-read the entire series and enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

*I was given the ARC of this by Netgalley and the Publisher for an honest review and I can't thank them enough!*
When I first started reading this, I wasn't sure where Emily March was going with this book. I have read all of her Eternity Springs books, and love that little town. Emily has a way of writing so that you absolutely feel like you live there and are watching events as they happen. To me that is what a great writer does. They transport you to their world. Which is why when I started Dreamweaver Trail I felt a little lost. The book actually starts and continues for the first third of the book on a Caribbean island. Where was my beloved Eternity Springs in Colorado? I shouldn't have been concerned. Emily March knows just what she was doing. Our heroine is Gabi, the sister of the sheriff and a policewoman who worked for him. In a previous book, she killed someone in the line of duty and so has taken time away from Eternity Springs to find out what she wants to do with her life. She knows that she does not want to be a policewoman any longer.
While in the Caribbean, she meets Flynn Brogan, a man with a messy background, and a lot of issues. They meet, fall for each other and tragedy happens. Gabi leaves the island and it is almost half a year before they meet up again. This time in Eternity Springs. And back to the place where magic happens.
This book can definitely be read as a standalone but why would you want to. Eternity Springs ranks up there with the best of small town series, and Emily March is a masterful storyteller. I can't wait for the next book in this series, and if you haven't tried these books yet, what are you waiting for. Amazing characters with believable romance. Doesn't get any better.

Heart warming as well as heart wrenching. Flynn Brogan is my hero. A past that literally came back to bite him in the a%$. The willingness to start fresh not once but twice is definitely a valiant man in my eyes. The time he spent with Gabi in the Caribbean was magical, romantic and unbelievably sexy :)
Then BAMM!!! It all went down hill from there. What happened after that was just so sad and terrifying especially the torture that Flynn endured was just so unspeakable. I couldn't believe he actually moved to Eternity Springs and tried to remain hidden (which quite frankly wasn't ganna happen as it is a small town and word get's around) to heal and feel that magical healing power. I'm so proud of him for that. What I wasn't so happy about was him hiding out from Gabi and making decisions or assumptions based on his past and present pain that he wasn't worthy of Gabi, that he was tainted.
As for Gabriella Romano the woman I wanna be when I grow up is the most amazing, feisty and lovable aunty, sister, daughter and friend who not only was in a funk and trying to figure what was next in line for her future but the courage, bravery and the zest for life to not give up on finding her HEA with the man she loves. She never gave up, not even when Flynn was hurting her. I totally admire her :)
I think this book is by far my favourite to the point where I cried a little because It felt like I was there experiencing all this heart ache and pain as well as forgiveness and happiness. Eternity Springs is definitely a magical place for healing.

"Dreamweaver Trail" by Emily March ....
What is this novel about....
"Love and forgiveness spin their magic as a woman discovers that home is where her heart belongs in Emily March’s moving new Eternity Springs novel. After another lonely Valentine’s Day, Gabi Romano trades mountain snowfall for sunshine and sand at a luxurious Caribbean getaway. There she discovers a hidden talent for creating fine art glass. She also meets Flynn Brogan, the sexy caretaker next door who brings her fantasies to life. But when violence interrupts their romantic interlude, she learns that Flynn is living a lie. Heartsick, she decides to concentrate on her craft. Playing with fire is safer than loving a man like Flynn.
Flynn is determined to make things right with Gabi—until his enemies interfere. Now damaged and driven by a need he cannot define, he seeks out Gabi’s Colorado community, hoping for reconciliation and some peace. But he never imagined a place like Eternity Springs, where lives are changed, second chances are given, and the possibility exists for two wounded souls to find their way home . . . to each other."
What I like about this novel.....
This series was of Gabi Romano and Flynn Brogan. I thought only magic could bring them together with all they had to go through. I felt this was a enjoyable contemporary romance with some suspense that will get and keep you attention till the end. This author seemed to have a way in portraying the folks of Eternity Springs in her series who really had to fight many hardships of life but in the end they are able to find love and even come out the better for it. How this author is able to do this is simply something...where you will find some 'humor, drama, trials, sex, tribulations' and only in the end there seems to be a healing process that will come about.
Bringing these two together ...Gabi who seems to have lost it all and then there is Flynn who has a painful past and a bucket load of bad luck...however bringing them together again after all is said and done seems to have come kind of healing powers there in Eternity Springs where life seems to be worth them living once more. I don't want to spoil it for you because I want you to pick up the wonderful read to see how this author brings it all out for you.
Be prepared for an engaging romantic story telling with intense emotions are at its highest where you will see how life has dealt these two people some horrible unhappiness but in the end...well again you must pick up "Dreamweaver Trail" to see if how will find happiness again. I found this novel had a wonderful supporting cast of characters that were well developed, portrayed, colorful and even yet believable.
My Impression of this novel...
I found this "Dreamweaver Trail" series number eight a very good read where there will be shown a special connection of these two people, coupled with losses and then a healing process as this author shows its reader in her writing using such gracefulness and even some humor.

This is the 8th book in the Eternity Springs series, and the second book that I have read by Emily March. I was intrigued by Gabi in the last book and was very eager to see what her story would be. Gabi is at a crossroads and trying to find her direction and passion in life...which leads to a dog-sitting gig in the Caribbean. First off, where was this opportunity when I was in my mid-20s??? Of course Gabi immediately meets her extremely gorgeous and single neighbor, and the mutual sparks are off the charts!! Of course the story can't that easy...our mystery man is actually a millionaire living under an assumed name because he was recently acquitted of his wife's murder. This was a little zany to me, but I went with it. The part of the story I actually loved the most, was Gabi finding her passion for blown glass. The way the art lights her up was positively inspirational. But just when you think the story is just too perfect...there is some extremely outlandish violence that rips Flynn and Gabi apart. I had a hard time with this part of the story, as it really came out of the blue. I honestly didn't want to keep reading once the story took one too many sad turns...but I am glad that I continued. It was extremely emotional to watch Flynn and Gabi reconnect, which is where this book truly became a love story. I cannot wait to read the next book, which is going to follow the story of the extremely sexy Cicero...who was Gabi's blown glass mentor and a new resident of Eternity Springs. Now I bet that one has some fire!!

In Dreamweaver Trail (Eternity Springs #8) by Emily March, Gabi is looking for something, but she's not sure what. On a journey of self discovery she leaves Eternity Springs and takes a job pet sitting on an island in the Caribbean. On that beautiful island she not only discovers her love of and desire to make fine glass art, she also meets Flynn. When she mistakes Flynn for the pool boy next door, he doesn't correct her. Flynn is at his island home seeking anonymity after making headlines for all the wrong reasons. He is not at all who Gabi thinks he is, he's hiding a dark past from her, and he's not looking for any kind of relationship. Gabi isn't looking for a relationship either, after what happened with her former fiancee, she has a hard time with trust. The island is small though, and Gabi and Flynn end up spending quite a bit of time together. She can't deny he's hot and she can't imagine away the chemistry between them. Gabi is cautious, but decides a vacation fling might be just what she needs. They both feel more than they expected though, and just as things are progressing between them, terror strikes, his secret is out, and Gabi flees her Caribbean escape.
When Gabi runs to Italy, where she is studying fine glass art, Flynn runs into trouble of his own. Not just trouble, but a horrifying nightmare he barely makes it out of. Flynn ends up in Eternity Springs, trying to find peace and heal even as he isolates himself. With Gabi in Italy he thinks he and his dog are safe. Until Gabi returns unexpectedly and is shocked to find Flynn living in Eternity Springs. Gabi is even more disturbed by how much Flynn has changed since they last saw each other. He's mysterious and won't talk to Gabi. Even though Gabi didn't try to contact Flynn since she left the Caribbean, she still wants answers. She also still cares and has strong feelings for him. Feelings Flynn has too. Flynn doesn't want to let Gabi in though, some part of him thinks he's protecting her. He feels damaged, not whole, and he doesn't know if he'll ever feel whole again. As hard as Flynn tries to push Gabi away, she pushes harder to get in. Will he ever be healed enough to let her in? Can they both forgive and have another chance together?
Dreamweaver Trail is an emotional romance with tragedy and triumphs. This Eternity Springs book is much different from the other Eternity Springs books because much of the story occurs in the Caribbean, not in Eternity Springs. However, Eternity Springs is where Gabi and Flynn come back to. I loved how Emily writes Gabi and Flynn's story in the two different settings. The contrasts between the two are great, and she describes both so well that you will easily feel you could be there with Gabi and Flynn, frolicking in the water in the Caribbean, or walking in the snow in Eternity Springs.
Gabi and Flynn are both great main characters. They come from quite different backgrounds, but fit together so well. Gabi is stubborn and will do what she needs to do! She is a character you can admire...for all she's been through as well as the courage she has to take life and live it! Emily gives us great background on Gabi, but leaves a little unsaid that I might have liked cleared up but it didn't take away from the story. Flynn's story comes to us more gradually through Dreamweaver Trail, and he's been through a lot of tragedy and loss. He is strong but he is also a bit broken, and Emily's way of writing about him will pull you right in...breaking your heart a little. The chemistry between Flynn and Gabi is definitely there, heating up the pages! I liked how Emily didn't write about this explicitly though, it was not necessary for the story and left some things to the imagination. I loved the way both of their characters grew throughout Dreamweaver Trail, and how they dealt with conflict (and there is a lot!)... it was a process that could not be sped up.
Dreamweaver Trail is Gabi and Flynn's story told over a period of time...long enough that it didn't feel rushed. The pace is perfect, and Emily's writing is smooth and easy to lose yourself in! Most of the secondary characters you will have met before if you've read the other Eternity Springs books, but Dreamweaver Trail can be read as a stand alone. The secondary characters that are revisited are in the background enough that we don't need a lot of detail on them. I did love the dog in Dreamweaver Trail, another character who will steal your heart!
At times intense, at times more light hearted, Dreamweaver Trail is a contemporary romance I'd highly recommend if you want to lose yourself in another place for a while!

This is the eighth book in the Eternity Spring Series. Things that I found slightly different about this entry was that the lead characters spent much of the time away from Eternity Springs, ultimately returning to find the peace she was looking for at home all along. Once again I was drawn into the artistic endeavors of the characters. I've always been intrigued by glass art and the ocean, so I didn't mind the story’s vacation from Colorado.
It is a quick reading romance that includes some violence and adult sex scenes. There has been violence surrounding the characters before, but I don’t recall it on this scale. And the same for the sexual side of the relationships, I don’t recall it being as detailed before – I didn't find it over the top, but was surprised to see it to this extent in an Eternity Springs book. Then again it has been a while since reading the prior books, maybe I've forgotten.
Going back to the ending of Book 7, I had hoped for a richer conclusion to the prior story at the start of this one, but once again was a bit disappointed. It seems that this author, like many I read, don’t realize how involved we get with the characters they create and how much some of us want to participate and follow their stories to the final details, full proposals, wedding plans, sunset kiss, fade out. Instead we get a summary paragraph as a commentary between observing characters.
Reading the included preview to book 9 due out in January 2015, the story continues with a character introduced in book 8 and the next Eternity Springs single lady. I am glad to see the story will continue the glass art but like the prior releases, it appears what the preview chapter provides the usual commentary sum-up paragraph as the “happy end” for Book 8’s couple.
I still enjoy visiting the little oasis of miracles in the Colorado Rockies, and will read each with the hope of getting more than a summary paragraph about the proposal or wedding one of these days.

This is the second story that I have read in the Eternity Springs series by Emily March. I found that this book was vastly different from the first one that I read. I think that the reason that it was so different is because Emily went in more deeply about the two characters being attacked and the aftermath of it. In addition, I felt it took a little longer to get to he main point of story. Some one would say that it was the right time in the book to have their the story really begin but i felt that it could have happened earlier.
I really did like how well written Flynn and Gabi's characters were. I really felt like I was there in the book feeling everything that they felt. I think she also did a great job of describing the scenery of both the Caribbean Island and Eternity Springs.
In addition, I really like how she ended the book as it made you want to read the next book in the series. I would say the reason that I gave it 4 out of 5 starts would be because it took longer to get to what the real meaning of the book and those main characters. I am very interested to see where she takes these characters in the future.
I think this book is a great read for both the romance and fiction readers.

Dreamweaver Trail by Emily March
Love this series because there is so much to learn from the books.
This one is about Gabi and how she's on an island in the Caribbean to recuperate from a shooting incident that rattled her while she was a cop.
The story also follows Flynn who owns the Tradewinds on the island and a lot of property. They meet and she misunderstands and thinks he's just the pool boy.
Lots of action and careers are detailed. She is becoming a glass blower and is given the chance to go to Italy to learn the trade firsthand.
He has found the dog she was sitting for but has gone through a lot of torture and has disguised himself but headed to her hometown to heal. Others learn of his existence around town and others seek him out to help him and her get together.
Hot steamy sex scenes but misunderstandings happen and they split and you wonder if the powers that surround the area will bring them back together.
Loved learning of the step by step process of the glass blowing and his trade of designing things. Few main characters and a bunch of other relatives that live in town and so good to catch up with what's going on in their lifes. Love how she's able to see things and then can design them.
Excerpt from the next book in the series is included.
I received this book from Library Thing in exchange for my honest review.

'Dreamweaver Trail' is book 8 in the Eternity Springs by Emily March. In this book we get to know Gabriella 'Gabi' Romano and Flynn Brogan. I absolutely loved Gabi's story. This entire series is amazing! Emily March has written yet another wonderful romance. Anyone that loves romance needs to read the entire Eternity Springs series! You will not be disappointed! I can't wait to read what happens next in Eternity Springs in book 9 'Teardrop Lane' due out later this year.

Second Chances! A beautiful love story. Filled with passion and a few missteps. So well written you won’t want to sit the book down – you’ll be turning pages throughout the night. An interesting twist is the art of glass—loved learning about it! Characters are very well developed. Enjoy! Once again Emily March has made a compelling story come to live. When Gabi meets Flynn for the first time, I could just see the dog barking and teasing as she tries to catch him. Flynn standing there laughing until she notices him. Ms. March has a way of making words come alive on the page. I devoured each word and will be rereading all of Eternity Springs's books until the next one comes out.

This is another in Emily March's Eternity Springs series. The book starts off well, presenting a very likable heroine and a hero with some deep emotional scars. I was enjoying the story very much, when suddenly it took a very dark turn. The description, even after the fact, of physical torture, was not what I was expecting, and it spoiled the book for me.

I laughed and cried (a lot) reading this book. Gabi and Flynn meet on a Caribbean island, are separated and meet again in Eternity Springs. I thought there were some darker moments in this book than in other books in the series, but that's what makes Gabi and Flynn tick. If you haven't read this series, I recommend it.

Gabi and Flynn are another couple who you would love for neighbors, friends or family! A beautiful story that each reader will enjoy and relish every word. I have become a fan of Emily March from the first book of this series - Angel's Rest. I got it from Book Bub pretty cheap, but it got me hooked. I read the series straight through and then waited on pins and needles for Dreamweaver.
The characters are warm loving people who have their personal dragons to slay. You really wish you could live in this town and earn your angel badge.

I have read every book in this series and loved them until this one. I felt it was too graphic and ugly. If I wanted to read about brutality I wouldn't choose a romance book. I was very disappointed. I will read the next one hoping that it is every thing I want in an eternity springs story.

Please RateDreamweaver Trail: An Eternity Springs Novel
The good:
You can definitely expect the same heart warming and quippy dialogue from Ms. March in the eight installment. Gabi has been such a firecracker in the previous books, but she really lays it out in this one. She got on the fast track to becoming one of my favorite heroines in Eternity Spring. Flynn on the other hand- my heart just ached for him. He had the worst of the worst hands dealt to him. As a result he became brooding and shut off. Although, you know how much I love a brooder so it worked in his favor. The dynamics between Gabi and Flynn were quite adorable. They may be tough on the outside, but they melt when they're around each other. A trait that I always find so incredibly endearing. Side note- Bismarck is the absolute BEST! Love that dog. Probably made the story 5 times better with his antics.
The bad:
This book took a very strange turn. I won't give it away, but about a third to a half of the way through the book I was left completely baffled. Take the circumstances out and I sort of like where the story arc was headed. However, the circumstances seemed too far-fetched for me. It took this once fun-loving series so a very peculiar place. Second bone to pick- I didn't get enough time in Eternity Spring catching up with everyone. I understand that at book eight something has to give otherwise the book would be 1,000 pages long. BUT a the first half of the book doesn't even take place in the quirky little town.
Overall:
I still loved my trips to Eternity Springs. I don't think I'll ever say no to reading a book in this series because I feel like I know everyone in real life. I have a laundry list full of characters who I can't wait to see what happens to. These books do have a reputation with adding some semi-outlandish suspense into the mix. I just think this plot twist took it a little too far. Don't get me wrong I still thoroughly enjoyed this book, I'll just have to put aside the whole mind-boggling aspect. Bottom line- if you love the Eternity Springs series I still think you'll enjoy it. If you haven't read them, then you need to and start with book 1 right now! :)
Happy Reading!
