Nice looking softcover book for a good price. My kids (12 and 8) love these books and play Warrior Cats with their friends. We bought this as a gift for their friend when he turned 10 because he wanted to read them.

Now granted this is in comparison to other books purchased the same way...I expected some wear & tear, but the book was in worse condition than anticipated. The binding was worn much more than expected and some of the pages seem like they might come out at anytime; however for 0.99¢ it still wasn't a bad deal.

The second book in the first of Erin Hunter's Warriors series had a lot going on.
Windclan has been driven from their territory, but with Shadowclan under new leadership, it may be possible for them to return and help restore the balance of power between the clans.
Meanwhile, Fireheart faces a temptation to return to kittypet life, while Graystripe faces his own form of temptation in a star-crossed (starclan-crossed?) romance with a riverclan warrior.
There were new characters introduced, and some returning faces that readers might not have expected, and there were some big changes as apprentices became warriors, and new apprentices began training.
Ering Hunter writes all of this with passion and intensity, but this installment just felt like it was trying to juggle way too many subplots. The result was that a battle that should have been climactic took place with four chapters still to go, and two major additional plot developments got crammed into those last four chapters. The pacing felt off, and there didn't feel like there was a good consistent flow of story.
All of that being said, the character development was good, and the worldbuilding remains as charming as it was in the first book. Hopefully the next installment will be a bit more tightly plotted.
The Kiddo (age 10 as of less than a week ago!) enjoyed this book, and especially likes the ideas of the clan. He speculates about the clans of stray cats in our apartment complex, and is a big fan of the dialect of the world of Warriors.

Now a warrior, Fireheart (Warrior name of Firepaw) helps out the neighboring WindClan to reclaim their homeland, but both WindClan and ThunderClan face growing tension and threats from the other two clans, RiverClan and ShadowClan. Fireheart also faces woes as his best friend Graystripe finds love with an enemy RiverClan member and Fireheart longs for his own family. Visiting his kitty pet sister Princess puts Fireheart’s loyalty into question. Tigerclaw is still making questionable decisions that make Fireheart worry for his clan and their leader Bluestar’s safety. Will Fireheart be able to feel at one with his clan and will they be able to fend off the growing threats?
Favorite Quote: “Graystripe, whatever you decide to do, I will always be your friend.”
The action adventure in these novels is very readable. I also really like the overall message of loyalty to your friends and family, but empathy to others, even if they are your enemy. There are cat deaths in the battles of the books, which would distress younger readers (my eight-year old son gets distressed just hearing bout it). Overall, a great read for middle readers (and their parents).

Book 2 of the Warriors series finds Fireheart in trouble and torn between the Clan world and his kittypet world. Wind Clan has been displaced from their territory and Fireheart and Graystripe are sent to find them and bring them back. Fights occur and Fireheart is caught between loyalty to the Clan and friendship.
I enjoyed this book. World building is still going on and surprises pop up when least expected. I like how the cats form their society and let their feelings show towards those who do wrong. I also like that they form alliances. When Fireheart brings back a newborn kittypet to the pack, he does it for himself although there will be advantages to the Clan. I also like this kitten, Cloudkit. He is independent, much like children who break the rules but the parents are proud of them because they did something good. I could feel that emotion in Fireheart and Bluestar but also their frustration with him.
I look forward to finding out if my suspicions about a traitor are true as I continue this series.

Thrilling and threatening adventures continue in the forest as four Clans of cats seek to survive and thrive in their separate territories. Prey within defended and patrolled boundaries is precious to each clan. Hunger caused many conflicts, attacks and battles.
Fireheart is now a loyal warrior and member of the Thunderclan. Occasionally, Fireheart experienced vivid dreams, during which he was visited and warned by someone who still cared for him, even from the afterlife. As the dreams combined with Fireheart's own keen senses and observations, he learned to be wary of a strong, treacherous and cold-hearted warrior from his own clan.
Divided loyalties created conflicts in this rich story. Fireheart struggled to balance loyalty to his clan with his relationship to his sister, Princess, a kitty-pet. Graystripe from Thunderclan and Siverstream from Riverclan became star-crossed lovers with divided loyalties.
Fireheart's name reflects his character so well. He burns with a fierce clan loyalty and yet, he has a compassionate heart.
A very enjoyable read!

Hi! I'm Cherrycloud. I make kid friendly reviews for the book series Warrior cats. Today's review is on Fire and Ice. (SPOILERS!!) My mom once asked me, what do you get when you mix fire and ice? ya know what I said? I said, a warrior cats book. She kept on going. Warm water! she sais. I just looked at her. Fire and Ice is an amazing book. Its been a while since ive read it, but i remember it clear as the weather on the night im writing this. Ive been reading Warriors for a long time, and i am eternally grateful. I loved Silverstream from the start, Ive gotta say. I also loved Windclan from the start. Even Cherrycloud is part Skyclan and part Windclan! (just to get this straight, Cherrycloud lives in Skyclan. Skyclan is my favorite.) I like that the newly made Fireheart (Firestar) has the courage to go and save my second favorite clan! I dont remember too much, so thats all for this time!

Warning: Minor spoilers of Characters. Please read the first book, Warriors #1 “Into The Wild”, before you read this one, if you don’t, it’ll make less sense.
Firepaw,( a ginger tom) the apprentice, is now Fireheart, the warrior, and an important member of ThunderClan. But his journey has only just begun. Danger is never far away in Warriors. Fireheart has suspicion about Tigerclaw, the deputy, (a dark brown tabby with unusually long front claws), killing, Redtail, the old deputy. Fireheart needs to tell Bluestar, (a blue-gray she-cat, with silver around her muzzle) the leader of the clan, his assumptions, or risk the safety of the clan. With his best friend, Graystripe,( a long-haired solid gray tom) Fireheart tries to show loyalty, but destiny has a different idea, for both of them. They also get their first apprentices (Cinderpaw [dark gray she-cat]) and Brackenpaw [golden brown tabby tom]), giving them even more responsibility to the clan.
You’ve heard that cats rule the internet. Well, they rule more than that. They rule the world, that means in Warriors too. The best part of the book was just the action and drama. You will have to read it for yourself. I can’t expose too much because I’ll spoil it for you, and don’t know how to explain the awesomeness of the book. After reading the book, you’ll never look at cats the same way again. But above all, it’s a rollercoaster of emotion of the book.

This book is so different from the first book. I enjoyed the first book FAR more. A large portion of Fire & Ice, and especially the first half, shows cats lying and conniving to get what they want time and time again. I don't understand why the warrior code doesn't include something about integrity and honesty. I deducted three stars for the profuse lying and conniving. What does this teach our young people? With a little more effort the author could have easily written a story that would inspire integrity in our young people.

Im a young reader but in love with these books! I can relate to many character like Jayfeather hes missinderstood and is treated like a helpless kit bc of his blindness and Ivypool who is overshadowed by dovewing 'her sister'! Now im going to talk about cats I highly dislike bluestar, yes I understand she was going Thorough a hard time snowfurs death, oakheart, and her kits, she still took her anger out on cats who where closest to her like whitestorm she grived his death for three pages of the book then said ok we need to train are apprentice harder and when brightpaw lost her eye she flippin named her lostface! Now lets talk about the diffrent ways to start likeing warriors a bit more youtube is a very helpful search up warriors and down there Erin Hunters channel that tells about new books and even a MOVie yes its true soon there will be a warriors movie coming out i also love making up my own cays and drawing and making storeis out of it my main cat Swifteyes is a awsome character and my own cats Fallingrain, riverheart, and darksmoke. Well i hope u read these books!

In book one, Into the Wild, a house cat finds adventure when he enters the woods. Joining ThunderClan, he (Firepaw) finds it difficult to make friends, including with Tigerclaw, the #2 in command. However, Bluestar (the head of the clan) takes him in under her wing. It isn't until Firepaw proves himself that he finds more acceptance, yet Tigerclaw still isn't one of them. Firepaw learns that the vicious warrior murdered Redtail (another ThunderClan warrior) and is waiting for the right time, and cat, to share this news with.
Story overview:
---------------
Having been promoted to a warrior, Firepaw takes on the responsibilities of his new name, Fireheart. Keeping one eye on Tigerclaw, he begins to question the validity of the claim against the warrior. In the meantime, Fireheart is given charge over his own apprentice.
Longing for his old life, Fireheart sneaks back to his old neighborhood. In doing so, he comes across a familiar cat. After sneaking back for countless visits, he begins to question his new lifestyle in the clan.
When his best friend, Graystripe, becomes infatuated with a female cat from another clan, Fireheart wonders about his friend's loyalty. Yet this problem only escalates when RiverClan teams up with ShadowClan in order to take out the weakened WindClan. Conflicted between his friend, old life, duty as a warrior, and suspicions over Tigerclaw, Fireheart battles to live up to his name and protect that which is most important to him.
My thoughts:
-------------
Like the last book, this one was easy to read and pulled me into the pages. I enjoyed continuing along with the characters and experiencing the situations they were put into. My biggest complaint was the ending, which didn't feel like an ending at all-it left too much unexplained. Of course, that was done on purpose-so the reader would be suckered into getting the next book in the series. Well, it worked. I will be obtaining a copy in the near future and write a review of it here once I have completed the reading.
Things to consider:
-------------------
There is a ferocity that accompanies this tale as would be appropriate for a nature show. I can see this being disturbing for younger children. No sexual situations or foul language. I would age appropriate this to preteens and older. Also enjoyable for adults who like fantasy stories such as Redwall.

ABOUT ME-
Hellow, this is Lilypaw, apprentice of LionClan. Today I will be teaching a little about myself.(My name is lily, not denise.)
Today I was.just appointed a LionClan apprentice. Today I was out with my mentor paatroling the teritory. My mentor is Lionstar, leader of LionClan. Well, sorry I got off track, I was just getting at the good part. Guess what, we met a Tigerclan patrol crossing our territory! Lionstar almost shredded them, and I gave a new warrior a nasty scratch to remember. My brother, Thunderpaw, was so jealous that he threw a temper-tantrum like a kit! It was so funny! Now, tonight, I am on a night stroll with my best friend, diamondpaw. Bittereye and Quivertail do it all the time. Bittereye is my mother, and Quivertail is my father. My cousins are Glassypaw and Flowerkit. I can't wait until my first gathering! Then we'll talk there. See you there! BYE!

Fireheart is a warrior of Thunder clan and serves them honorably. Fireheart has a hard past; he was born a kittypet which is the clan name for cat who lives with twolegs which is another clan name that means humans. Then he had his life turned around when he was suddenly accepted into Thunder clan and will learn how to live in the wild even though as a kittypet he was always more restless than other pet cats. there are four clans called Thunder clan, Wind clan, Shadow clan, and River clan: they all know of starpelt or the stars as the place where their ancestors watch over them and communicate with each clans medicine cat who are healers that the gods talk to and warn and the clans leader who has nine lives given to them by Star clan. Clan cats also follow the warrior code which guides them and is considered treachery to break it. He arrives in Thunder clan to witness a apprentice called Ravenpaw who later claims to Fireheart that he saw the strong warrior Tigerclaw kill Thunder clans deputy. After that he befriends Ravenpaw and Graypaw and becomes an apprentice with the name of Firepaw. By the end of the first book Ravenpaw has with Firepaw and Graypaw's help escaped when Tigerclaw started spreading rumors that Ravenpaw was betraying the clan (we know he wasn't because he was with Firepaw but nobody listened), Firepaw now Fireheart and Graypaw now Graystripe have become warriors, and Tigerclaw has become clan deputy which is a position where you issue some orders and you succeed the leader should their nine lives run out.
In this book Fireheart and Graystripe start out by being tasked by Bluestar their clan leader to find Wind clan and bring them back. Wind clan was driven out of their territory by Shadow clan who wanted their territory for hunting grounds. Bluestar says that Star clan put four clans their and that that is how it was always meant to be and that it disrupts the balance of things (also we so know that Star clan is real). On their way back from their mission they are stopped by a River clan patrol even though River clan had agreed to the mission at the gathering (the gathering happens once a month at a place called Four Trees where all the clans territory's meet and there every full moon all 4 clans meet in peace) and a battle commences in which because of Graystripe a River clan warrior is on accident killed. Afterwards at some point Graystripe meets a River clan she-cat and falls in love even though it is against the warrior code. Meanwhile Fireheart has met his kittypet sister and in secret visits her regularly. Fireheart keeps his secret but when he finds out about graystripe and Silverstream he confronts them both to try to convince them to stop seeing each other. They both refuse and Graystripe in anger attacks Fireheart. After that they drift apart and their friendship disintegrates altogether. Fireheart's sister princess has become pregnant and when her kits are born she gives him one of them and asks him to bring him to the clan and to raise him as a clan cat. Fireheart is torn because they hate kittypets and would probably treat him as they would treat a piece of garbage; but princess is so hopeful and he gives in without telling her and in truth barely even thought about how they would treat him and does not fully think about it until he is at the clan entrance.
I find Erin's way of putting not so much description that the reader gets bored but not so little that you can't imagine them but just the right amount of description and that he is a master at foreshadowing. I think that one of the reason's why I love it so much is that it is mystical yet realistic and it doesn't have humans as main characters but there are many other reasons too. In short I loved it.

This is mostly about deception and lies, sort of a kid version of those cheesey love books. Except it's the opposite of cheesey. Graystripe and Fireheart, now warriors, have gotten their own apprentices. Graystripe got Brackenpaw and Fireheart got Cinderpaw, (who ends up being one of my favorite characters.) In a regular training session, Graystripe changes the course of his life. He slipped (like slipped on ice) into RiverClan territory. He is saved by a pretty RiverClan she-cat named Silverstream, and falls in love. Meanwhile, Fireheart is visiting his kittypet sister in secret. His sister also kitted recently, and she gives Fireheart her firstborn son to raise in the clan. The clan is now angry at Fireheart, and to add to the chaos, Cinderpaw was hit on the thunderpath. She will now never become a warrior, and Fireheart has practiclly taken over Brackenpaw's training, as Graystripe is out of sight almost every moment, secretly meeting with Silverstream. Fireheart has long since known about it. Cinderpaw, who is recovering from her incident on the thunderpath, her injuries confirmed; she would be permanently crippled. When she recovers as much as she ever will, Yellowfang takes her as her own apprentice. Graystripe tells Fireheart that Silverstream is going to kit. Such a jumble of emotions; which path is right?

Dear Warriors' Fan Club,
Fire and Ice was AWESOME!!! The whole time I was reading it I was so amazed how detailed it was. I was surprised no Windclan cats died of hunger. I was scared when Cinderpaw hit the thunderpath. Also, when Brokenstar / tail attached the camp. The ending was pretty tense, but awesome. My favorite part was when princess gave Fireheart cloudkit. I was so excited I kicked the back of the car seat!!! The next book I want is Bluestar's Prophecy. I have been dying to read that book. Bye!!!

Bye!!!

Something very rare has occured that doesnt happen often within the world of book series: Erin has created a sequel that has succeeded the first! As i first read the Into The Wild, i wasnt sure if i would continue reading the series, but this book has pushed away all my doubts! Combined with its detailed descriptions, breathtaking thrills, sizzling romance, and heartstopping surprises, this makes for an excelent read! The character's personalities are really starting to grow, and you can never guess what happens next! Now im wanting more and more! The war and hatred between Thunderclan and Riverclan is so strong, that you can almost taste it! Fire And Ice makes for a great title because you can feel the hatred between each rivalry. As Fireheart and Graystripes bond grows closer, you really discover the true meaning of loyalty. I cant wait for the next book, and find out if this endless war will ever be resolved. As Fireheart's loyalty and friendship grows within his clan, you can obviously tell that one cat is going to change all that: Tigerclaw. You can obviously tell that this ruthless monstrosity will stop at nothing to get what he wants, making this tom the perfect enemy. As for Spottedleaf, you can tell that she isnt just a pretty face, and that Fireheart is obviosly drawn to her. Their forbidden love is quite a shocker and makes this book all the more dramatic. Overall it was a great book and i know the next will be even better! I cant wait for the next book, i know that this is just the beginning!

I loved Warriors II Fire and Ice. It was an exciting book that was more exciting than the first. I enjoyed the new characters and the secrets between the Clans and Clan members.
Not too long after Fireheart and Graystripe become warriors they get their first apprentices. Cinderpaw is Fireheart's apprentice, young, and energetic. When Cinderpaw gets hurt so badly that she may never be an apprentice, both cats are heart broken. But was her injury an accident or did someone want her to get hurt?
There are separate loyalties in this book unlike Book One. Graystripe has fallen in love with a RiverClan cat. That is breaking the warrior code, which puts him and his clan on the line. Fireheart has caught up with his kitty pet sister and sees her when he can. Princess, his sister, gives him one of her own to be a member of ThunderClan. Will the young clan member obey by the warrior code or will the clan not accept him for who he is?
Cat lovers, good readers, and both girls and boys would like this book. It would be best if you read Warrior I Into the Wild, first because you will understand it and enjoy it even more.

Book two in the Warriors Saga shows Fireheart continue his journey to understand the Warrior Code, show loyalty, and mentor his own apprentice, Cinderpaw. This book, as good as the first one, is great for young readers and is an enjoyable, fun, intriguing, adventurous, and a wonderful book. This book focuses on Fireheart and his close friend Graystripe as they train their apprentices: Cinderpaw and Brackenpaw. When Fireheart notices Graystripe starts doing a not-so-good job mentoring, he discovers that Graystripe fell in love with a Riverclan cat named Silverstream, the daughter of the leader of Riverclan, (crookedstar) and has been sneaking away to meet with her--Graystripe being a cat of Thunderclan, this is against the warrior code. This book continues the first series and shows the battles between choices of the Warrior Code and Prophecys given to the Clans from Starclan.

I was somewhat disappointed with this book. After Into The Wild,I was expecting this terrific sequel to it and I was disappointed. This book is good, but it was nowhere near as good as the first one. I like the tension and suspense in this book for example when you think Fireheart and Graystripe's friendship is going to end over Silverstream. I liked Silverstream a great deal. However, I felt that the whole thing with Cloudkit was not helpful to the storyline in any way at all. The only thing that it accomplished was destroying ThunderClan's trust in Fireheart. It was pointless and seriously counter-productive. It was cool that Fireheart found his sister again and that they could build a relationship again after not seeing each other in a long time. Fireheart's struggle with not belonging and wanting to be with his own seemed very real to me. The battles and personal struggles are so real that I felt like I was there. The individual characters are so believable it's ridiculous. Really the only reason this review doesn't have five stars is because of the whole Cloudkit thing. This book was very well written and I do highly recommend it. Remember, this is just my opinion of the book. I thought it was spectacular, but that one part damaged my opinion. All things considered, though,a truly enjoyable and very believable sequel. I can't wait to read the next book.

Firepaw, now a fully fledged warrior, is back for more. His best friend, now Graystripe, joins him in warrior duties. Together they find WindClan and bring them home (Hint: Along the way they meet a long-lost friend). Also, Fireheart and Graystripe get apprentices. Fireheart is overwhelmed with training the she-cat apprentice, Cinderpaw, and trying to convince Bluestar of Tigerclaw's treachory. As a result of Cinderpaw's eagerness, Graystripe nearly drowns in the river. A silver she-cat, Silverstream, rescues him, which leads to love. As Fireheart gets more and more frustrated with Graystripe's breaking of the warrior code, he feels extremely lonely with his best friend turned against him. Meanwhile, Fireheart finds his long-lost sister, who is about to start her kitting. After a horrible accident, Cinderpaw is nearly trampled to death. Fireheart's sister, Princess, hears the sadness in his voice, and gives Fireheart her first-born kit to take back to ThunderClan. He took the kit back, and ThunderClan almost denied the kit a home because of the greencough and whitecough sickness raging through the camp. The kit is named Cloudkit, and remains with ThunderClan. As Fireheart and Graystripe try to find where their loyalty lies, a battle is creeping up on them. At the end, Graystripe forgives Fireheart for letting Silverstream go in the battle. Tigerclaw, unfortunately, also saw Fireheart let the she-cat go, and is now watching Fireheart with hatred and mistrust. Will Fireheart reveal the truth about the evil deputy? READ THE DARN BOOK!

My 3rd grader and I are reading this book together. It was hard to get her to want to read. I was searching for something that interested her. She loves this series of books. Now she WANTS to read them all the time. This is not an EASY read for a 3rd grade nor is it too difficult. Please note that there are cats fighting in the book. And some cats will become injured and/or die. Violence is not the central theme. The book centers on survival of the clan, camaraderie, problem solving, and feline politics. The storyline is multi-dimensional but not too complicated for an 8-year old. The characters draw you in. I highly recommend this book, whether a cat lover or not.

Ok, I might have some spoilers, so if you don't like that, move on. Anyways the book was boring, and half of it was fireheart and graystripe fighting on graystripe breaking the warrior code. Graystripe met a she-cat, which he fell in love with. However, the she-cat was from RiverClan. So he was breaking the warrior code. Fireheart tried to help his friend, but graystripe? He wouldn't listen. He kept seeing her. And graystripe ruined their friendship. Fireheart's kittypet sister, gave her first born son to the clan. When fireheart came back to camp, he spilled the beans about his sister. And he got a lot of hate. Omg, FIREHEART! Can you be any less stupid! Why don't you just lie about it! You could say you found it in the woods! This is not the fireheart I know and love. And for graystripe? He continued to see the she-cat. I guess fireheart didn't care any more. I wouldn't recommend this book unless you want to read the whole series (like me) so you brag to your friends.

There are a lot of details in Warrior Fire and Ice that make the book understandable for me as a reader. Warriors Fire and Ice is a remarkable book because it has many specific character details that make book understandable. One of the reasons this book is understandable is because of a mean character that has killed three in his clan. The mean character is the leader of a specific clan. This mean character is a helpful way to understand the evil cat that you have to say away from. Fireheart is now a warrior to ThunderClan with his best friend Graystripe, and they are the main characters in the book.Yes the main characters make the book easy to understand because of the mental pictures. Fireheart has the fur of fire in the night sky. Graystripe has the fur of a gray cloud looking like it is about to rain. Why I did this descriptions cause of the picture in your head of what Fireheart and Graystripe look like. Thunderclan is like a caring, grateful, drama, and working clan with their cats that are very wise and old. The main characters are understanding because of their personality. Lastly, there is this part in the book that has Fireheart and Graystripe travel into the woods. The book is easy to read and understandable because of the way Erin Hunter wrote it. You should read this book!!!

This is a really good book. In this book, the author describes the little movements of the cat. Just by the description I can almost imagine every single scene and every single little movements. I just like fantasy books, and I will say this is a fantasy book, because the author added a bit of human facts in the story. For instance, in the story, the cats travel in a group, and that's just like military people, they also walk and travel in a group. Also this story gives some cat facts, like the cat sniff to smell other cats scent, and that's how they know their enemy. I really enjoy reading warrior series.

Fireheart has now become a true ThunderClan warrior; and Bluestar assigns him a special mission. Brokenstar had previously driven WindClan into exile and took over their hunting grounds for ShadowClan, clearly breaking the warrior code. It's up to Fireheart and his best friend Graystripe to bring WindClan home now that Brokenstar had been driven out. In this journey he finds WindClan under a tunnel in a thunderpath. Tallstar, WindClan's leader, is grateful, and Fireheart and Graystripe take them home. Soon after, Fireheart and Graystripe are taking their apprentices, Cinderpaw and Brackenpaw out on a border patrol. Graystripe saw a mouse scuffle across the river on RiverClan territory, and dared to cross the frozen river. The ice cracked, and Graystripe fell through and nearly drowned until a pretty silver RiverClan she-cat named Silverstream saved him from the deathly torrent of water. Graystripe and Silverstream eventually fall in love, and Fireheart doesn't like how Graystripe is neglecting Brackenpaw's training, and breaking the warrior code just to see this RiverClan cat. Even worse; Silverstream soon discovers she is expecting kits. Fireheart is furious with Graystripe, and their friendship begins to crumble. Will their once-close friendship ever be recovered?
Overall, I have really enjoyed this book. It's even a great book the second time you read it! My favorite part was when Fireheart and Graystripe went out to bring WindClan back from exile. It was exciting, and it kept me reading all night. It even gave me chills when Graystripe fell through the ice!! I wasn't sure if he was going to live or not!
Cat and fantasy lovers would really enjoy this book. It's a book for guys and girls, and I know this because guys have joined my Warriors proboards website. This book series is fun and exciting, and it's the only book series I've been able to read the books under two days!

This book to me was very, very exciting. The main character, Fireheart has just become a true warrior of the Thunderclan, along with his best freind Graystripe. Together they faced many things but when Graystripe meets a she- cat from an enemy clan they're freindship starts to fall apart. Another problem in this book is Tigerclaw, the deputy of the Thunderclan. Every cat in the Thunderclan looks up to Tigerclaw, except Fireheart, who besides Graystipe and a fromer cat from thunderclan, named Ravenpaw, know a very cold- blooded thing that this deputy has done. When no one believes the story that Fireheart has to tell about Tigerclaw strnage tings start to happen in the Forest.

Cinderpaw is a lively, well meaning cat, who can be overly enthusiastic-unlike her serious, inntelligent brother, Brackenpaw! In this book, Best friends become worst enemys, and fireheart sees a change of heart in the prickly apprentice, sandpaw. I have to tell you, this is an exciting sequel to the first warriors book. As soon as I finished reading the first book of the warriors series, Into The Wild I went into a reading frenzie and started on the second book right away. In this thrilling sequel Graystripe falls in love with a riverclan she-cat named Silverstream. (If you have read the first book you would no that having a relationship with a cat from another clan is against the warrior code) Fireheart finds out about Graystripe and his love affair and tries to sto it from going any farther but Graystripe won't listen to Fireheart. Fireheart fears that is Graystripes secret gets out that it wont onlt indanger him but also the whole clan! After pleading to Graystripe so many times that he cant be with Silverstream, Graystripe completly ignores Fireheart and he starts to think that Firheart doen not trust him. Soon their frendship starts t ofall apart and all the while that that is going on Fireheart tries to convince Bluestar that Tigerclaw killed Redtail (the former Thunderclan deputy) but she wont listen to him and she refuses to belive that her new deputy killed Redtail. This is a great book that I recomend to everyone who loves animals and a great adventure. Trust me, this is a journey that you will want to take!

Now Riverclan's mad, and things get worse as Graystrip falls in love with a Riverclan she-cat. Fireheart is strangled between his loyalty with his friend and loyalty to the clan. I picked up the first book a couple days ago beayse I felt I should read a variaty of books including books with animals as the main characters. So I therefore bought the first book - and was pleasently supprised. So I bought the sequal the next day and I'm glad I did. I thought the first one was good and I should continue reading the series to have something to read. But this is so much better than I thought! I thought that this was a really good book even though two things really annoyed me.
First let me tell you what this book is about:
Fireheart is a new warrior in the Clan. And the Clan really needs some new warriors. The rivilaries between the tribes are growing feircer. And there's still that one question: Where's WindClan?
But that's not the only problem. Loyalities have began to switch. Fireheart became reunited with his long last sister. And she's pregnet. And that's not all! Here's the coolest part: Fireheart gets an apprentice! Oh! And I almost forgot! There's a member of the Clan... who cannot be trusted... dun, dun, dun...
And the Clan needs all teh trustworthy warriors they can have especially since NoLeaf (winter) is coming and there are new kits to feed...
There are two things that annoyed me in the book: One thing is that the secret of Tigerclaw still lingers on throughout this book and it still wasn't solved. Also. I wont give away the plot but... the author does something which makes me so mad at him! You'll see when you read it. WHICH YOU WILL! ITs a good book! Go out and get it. Hard covers worth it.

I have read the Warrior books before, but the umpteenth time through still is good, too. I know how it all turns out, (sorry, spoilers!) And it is great. Fireheart certainly has left his kittypet life, and is a true and loyal warrior now, even with his own apprentice. A reunion with someone from the past brings a nice story twist, but can Fireheart trust everyone in the clan? Is his own best friend disloyal, or just confused? Does a tragic accident with his apprentice mean she will never be a Warrior? You will have to read to know! :O. :D. And, btw, I would recommend this book, I did enjoy it, and can't wait to get my hands on the next one again. :)

The plot thickens! There was a cliffhanger at the end of the first bookand I wanted to see of it would resolve in this book. It didn't, so I will be continuing the series.
Our hero, Fireheart, is now a warrior of the ThunderClan. And with his new title comes new responsibility and new challenges. In this book, Fireheart is sent to return the WindClan to their lands, becomes a mentor to the young Cinderpaw, and struggles with matters of the heart. And there is the returning challenge of his mistrust of the ThunderClan deputy, Tigerclaw.

I've just finished this second book in the Warriors series, and it really kept me on the edge of my seat with the battles and the intrigue! I have really enjoyed the series so far, and find it particularly enjoyable that the cats seem to act like cats (albeit talking cats!) and not just like little furry people.
The one thing that seemed out of phase with feline character was the "romance" they had going in this book. The "Romeo and Juliet" theme might have been interesting, but doesn't seem to work with cats, since I can't imagine cats bonding to each other the way wolves or swans do. If you can keep your suspension of disbelief going through it, you will enjoy this book.
I am over 30, but I still enjoy a god fantasy novel!

Like I said I've began to love warriors.
With every thing going on in ThunderClan Fireheart still has suspicions about Tigerclaw being a traitor, but with his new apprentice Cinderpaw, Fireheart has more important things to think about. When Cinderpaw is interested in RiverClan's river everything unravels itself after Graystripe falls into the freezing waters and is rescued by Silverstream. Fireheart later takes one of his sister's kits to camp making everyone frustrated with two kittypets in ThunderClan.
I had gotten very interested when Shadow and RiverClan attacked WindClan. I thought Nightstar could be trusted after taking Brokenstar's place in ShadowClan! in the end Tigerclaw shows more signs that he's a traitor yet serves his clan well.
I don't care how you all think of my review.

You don't have to be a kid to enjoy this great series. If you like fantasy, and especially love cats, I guarantee you will like these books. I actually came along these books by mistake, the first one was in the wrong section of the bookstore. I saw a cat on the cover and decided to give it a try. I'm hooked now. If you liked 'Tailchaser's Song' (which is regarded as an adult book, go figure), read these!
The story keeps moving and the cats have complex personalities. Cat lovers everywhere, rejoice!

This is such a great book filled with romance, death, deception, thrilling fights, and the lovable main character, Fireheart. Fireheart is a warrior now and he needs to deal with the threat of other clans, banished cats, a strong murderer and deceiver, and even the questioning loyalty of him to his clan. His closest friend's loyalty is also being questioned by Fireheart and with all this going on, Bluester will not believe that Tigerclaw, the leader's own deputy, is a traitor. How will Fireheart ever cope with these problems? The awesome answers are throughout this book, this adventure.

This is one of the best books I've ever read. my best friend told me about it, promising to bring it to school soon, and that night my mom broght home the second book from the library. Now me, my best friend and another friend are totally obsesed with these books. I'm waiting for the sixth one to arrive.
This story is about Fireheart, the former Firepaw, and his life as a warrior. The first significant section is about how Fireheart and Graystripe, who was Graypaw, go out of ThunderClan territory to bring back WindClan (driven from their territory in book 1) from a dirty, damp, unhealthy tunnel. The second part is about how Fireheart dicovers love between Silverstream (a RiverClan cat) and Graystripe. The problem is, their love goes against the Warrior Code. Most of th book is about resolving the second problem, and the major problem caused by this. All sorts of interesting stuff happens in this book, including but not limited to, developing friendships and charecters. This is a great book. I advise it to anyone who likes cats and/or fantasy.

He went from Firepaw to Fireheart but that wasnt the only thing that changed. Windclan was driven out by the vicious leader Brokenstar of Shadowclan. Fireheart is learning more and more about Tigerclaws deep secret and cant wait to finally crack the case. Will Bluestar, leader of Thunderclan believe that her so called loyal deputy would betray her? But thats not the only thing going on Graystripe is in love and Fireheart has doubts of where his loyalties lie. Can Thunderclan get through these dark times? Jump into the great series of warriors.

Fans of the first Warriors, Into the Wild, will be welcomed back into the world of cat clans with a feeling of coming home. Erin Hunter has handled the progression into a sequel very nicely, keeping the same feel of the first story with the natural progression asked of a follow-up. The main feline character, Firepaw, has now become a warrior and earned the name Fireheart, and readers will share his triumph along with him. Windclan, one of the four clans of the forest, has gone missing, and Fireheart and his best friend Graystripe are dispatched to find and bring them back. Tensions are starting to mount between the remaining clans - Riverclan and Shadowclan see Windclan's departure as an opportunity to extend their hunting grounds. Fireheart is starting to grow suspicious of his clan's deputy, Tigerclaw, while Graystripe is making an unlikely friend... Once again, Erin has created an engaging and action-packed tale that is beautifully planned and written.

This, the second book in the Warriors series, continues the saga of Fireheart, an orange cat who escaped his human home, joined ThunderClan, one of four clans of feral cats, and became a warrior. Accepted by most but still disliked by some,(Tigerclaw, Longtail, and Dustpaw) Fireheart and his friend Graystripe are sent on a mission by Bluestar, the Clan leader, to find WindClan, who were driven out by the hostile ShadowClan. Once they return(I won't say what happens)things begin to get worse in camp. On their way back to their Clan, the two warriors get into a battle with RiverClan, and a cat is killed when he is thrown over a cliff by accident. Needless to say, RiverClan is not happy. As the plot goes on, trouble stews with sickness in camp, Fireheart's first apprentice, Graystripe's growing love for a RiverClan cat, and Fireheart's discovery of a very familiar cat. When he brings home a white kit, he is ridiculed even more. Failing to persuade Graystripe to stop seeing the RiverClan cat, the two friends' closeness begins to deteriorate. But when rogue cats attack the camp, with Fireheart the only warrior, and soon afterwards a joint attack on WindClan by Shadow- and RiverClan, Fireheart discovers that he cannot trust everyone.
I quite enjoyed Fire and Ice, and have only one complaint. I wish to point out that I disapprove of Erin Hunter implying that all lost cats could make their way in a colony of feral cats. There is little to no chance of a cat finding a colony, much less being accepted. However, that sad fact takes away none of the enjoyment of a good story, providing you understand it's fiction. I don't think that's worth taking away a star, though. That being said, I am looking forward to the next books, Forest of Secrets, Rising Storm, and hopeful sequels.

I've read AND own all the Warriors books that are currently published. I am waiting for Book Four of the Power of Three series. I recently read all the manga books, the original series, The New Propphecy, the Feild Guide, and Cats of the Cans. I also read the three Power of Three books that are sold now.
I recommend these books to everyone. Little kids will enjoy the adventure, but there is buits of romance, sadness, horror, and funniness in these books. They are great for all ages, but the older you are the more you understand. I recomennd reading them slowly, they pass by too quickly. I've read... hmm... 19 books- no, 23- in probably 2 months. And thats just this series. I've read plenty more. so please, please but the first book of the series. If you want to buy this one and you read the ones before, please do because all of them are very good books. I'm only 11, but I think these books are great! firestar, Brambleclaw, Jaypaw, and Graystripe are the different ain characters of each series. But the series are connected. for example, Firestar is eventually leader in Warriors, and is also leader in all the other Warriors series. PLEASE BUY THIS BOOK!!

A 12-year old female friend of my 11-year old son loaned him the first "Warriors" book, and he loved it so much that he used his Christmas money to buy the next three. He has read like a maniac (which is cool, since he hasn't really cared that much about reading until just recently), and has loaned all his books to his homeschool buddies. They have started calling each other by the book characters' names, and have enjoyed the sharing of the books tremendously. He pestered me until I bought the rest of the series, and he is in book heaven. I highly recommend these books for boys or girls, or even for adults who like to read children's books.

I think that this book is really good because it has a lot of adventure and it also has a lot of mysteries! I think this is a good family book too. I recomend that kids read this of course it has to be the level of their reading skills.I promise that you will like it if you ever read this. My favorite part is when the war is going on and that is all I have to say! P.S. I know you will love it!

If you liked Into the Wild, your sure to like this book even more. Its an amazing sequal to book 1.
Fireheart and Graystripe are warriors now and have new dutiesto take care of. They are assigned to their first mission: find and bring back Windclan.
But that's not the only problem for Fireheart, has to worry about Tigerclaw, not to include the growing relationship between Graystripe and a cat from another clan.
Its hard for Fireheart to do, especially with his first apprentice to train.

Firepaw has finally earned his warrior name Fireheart. But that's not thing only thing that's suprising, Windclan has been missing for a while and all the other three clans try to help and find the clan. Truth is Shadowclan's old cruel leader had chased Windclan out of their own territory. Bluestar is sending Fireheart and his good friend Graystripe on an important mission to find the missing clan.
Is it true that Graystripe has fallen in love with a she-cat in Riverclan, but isn't that against the warrior code? Not to fall in love with a cat from a different clan of yours? Fireheart tries to keep Graystripe away from Silverstream so he doesn't get himself in big trouble. Fireheart also runs into a kitty pet that he has known for his whole life. With bringing a new little bundle to the clan, Thunderclan doesn't accept this new commer. They start to lose trust in Fireheart. Fireheart tries to keep close with his clan and also trying to get his best friend out of trouble. Can he do it all at once, or is he going to lose a friendship between Graystripe while his clan could never trust him again?

I have read both Warriors #1 & #2, and decided to write a review on both, so here it is for Fire and Ice. I stayed up all night reading this book! It is absolutely delicious! I am a great fan of animal-related books such as this novel and it is fantastic. I really felt as though I was there with the cats and the story is layered with truth, lies, secrets, and crusted with some betrayal. I will admit, you must read Into the Forest to really understand Fire and Ice, but they are both worth the read!

In the second addition to the original warriors series,Graystripe gets a bit more attention. This relates to a RiverClan warrior, but i am not saying how! Also,Firehearts nephew,Cloudkit, joins the clan as son of firehearts sis,(a kittypet)Princess!Read this suspenceful book, perhaps the best in the original series and the second series,The new prophecy.

This book is a total thriller. Fire and Ice is the 2nd book in the best series I've ever read. This book is all about Firepaw and Greypaw and their adventures in the forest. When Firepaw discovers surprising facts about Tigerclaw, Thunderclan deputy, he is forced to make a choice, to betray the deputy or keep quiet.
