A Novella Set in the Black Dagger World (Black Dagger Brotherhood)

Amazing addition to the BDB world. If J.R. Ward could crank one of these out every month in addition to the Brotherhood and Trainee books, that would be great (no biggie, right?). Fast easy read that totally sucked me in.

J.r. ward is an amazing writer every book about the brothers or dealing with the BDB is spectacular. I cry almost with every book I read and I did it with Dearest Ivie, it is wonderful to know how the outcome will be always a rollercoaster of emotions with her books. I can't wait for more BDB books!!!!

Such a wonderful story. I absolutely love Silas and Ivie. Could not put the story down, I had to read it to the end straight through. I experienced sad, laughter, and Happy. Great read. Another sequel I hope

Oh my goodness, I teared up when her father came to see her in the clinic, and damn near lost it when Ruhn stepped out of the elevator. The only negative.... Far too short, I could have used 10-15 more chapters :D

It’s one of the best feel good stories I have ever read. I absolutely love to read Ms Ward’s stories. The BDB is my favorite book series and I know it’s an off shoot of the series but it’s really great.

Ward was able to eloquently cram so much emotion into such a short story it is astounding but very well done! The ups the downs the highs the lows; all of it exquisite written. Well played J.R., well played!

This as the others was great. I cried and I laughed. Wanted to keep reading more of Ivie and salas story. Please intertwine their story like with the other books, or a new book for them. Looooovvvveeee it

The Black Dagger Brotherhood continues to be a guaranteed excellent read and rollercoaster of different emotions. I recommend the whole series. Anyone who has dealt with hospice will relate to the heartbreak and hope.

I have an infatuation for J R Ward and The Black Dagger Brotherhood!!! This is a short story based in Caldwell, NY about Nurse Ivie and Silas. Ivie has a strong, humours, straight forward personality. Silas is a handsome, gentle male of the Glymara. He has a secret that will haunt your very soul and challenge Ivie's strength. The love they find is unbreakable, but will it last.....
This is a must read short story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, sigh for the sincerity of their LOVE and ugly cry. I'm serious, tissues are a must. J R likes to twist your heart a few times during these books.... But, they are so worth it!!!!! I never want this series to end. I literally drool for a year until the next book. A MUST READ!

BDB universe always makes me hurt so good. XD I wasn’t even planning on reading this because like, who are these people? So glad I did though. Now I wish it had been a full length novel, but even still, I enjoyed my time with Ivie and Silas <3

It’s just a love story. Nothing more, nothing less, but it’s so sweet and emotional that you’ll just keep reading. Even if it’s vampires, the subject is still something that will tear at you. Happy reading!
