A Collection Of Riveting Haunted House Mysteries - Ghostly Secrets Super Boxset

Good start for a series, looking forward to the rest of the story. Second series of three stories is even better than the first set. Both series have a great ending and final resolution. Getting ready to read more of this author.

TALENTED AUTHOR IN DIRE NEED OF AN EDITOR. That's what I should enter in the title category. This writer has very good but half baked story ideas. He DRAGGGGS his narrative painfully along, torturing the reader with meals, wardrobe changes, driving details and a hundred and one irrelevant descriptions. I was GOOD little girl and DILIGENTLY forced myself to read the first 35 pages of the first story. After that, skim, skim, skim. Does any author want readers to do that? I'm sorry but I just couldn't endure anymore. You, Mr. Hayden, need an editor. With an editor and complete rewite you could have a serious winner here. But as of now.....

The first book was interesting at the beginning but is so filled with errors I cannot finish. I do not mind the occasional misspelling but this was beyond ridiculous. It seemed every page had at least one error but most pages had several misspelled words, punctuation errors, and extra words. Some sentences went on for three lines with five or six commas. Other sentences had random words added that obviously did not belong. Punctuation error can change the entire meaning of a sentence and then has to be reread several times to grasp the intent. It became so distracting that I returned the book. I can understand how a aspiring author may not be able to afford a proper editor but many of the errors should have been noted easily by anyone proofreading.

The stories were great but the endings are like a car wreck!! You don't know whats happened, you've slammed into something but you don't know what or how! The endings are way too abrupt, there is no closure to the stories I've just read, nothing is tied together. I feel I've been cheated out of a great ending to a great story. I don't understand the endings... you are just left not understanding anything at all. I will not be reading anymore of these books until the endings have some closure!
I rarely leave negative reviews but I felt this needed to be said.

In this box set there were three different stories. Each was told in three books. The stories were very good. However, the editing was terrible. There were many misspellings and parts that didn't quite fit together. I enjoyed the mysteries. Each was detailed and resolved in the end. No loose threads were left. You will have to suspend your beliefs some, but you will enjoy the stories. Each story is written by a different name, but they all follow the same style and pattern of story telling. I will look for more by these writers.

I thoroughly enjoyed this first story in the "Ghostly Secrets" collection. Well written with the credibility of a true-to-life haunted-house tale. I read from beginning-to-end in one sitting as the storyline flowed flawlessly to its chilling and thought-provoking climax. I also thought it clever how the roles of each character played into the plot. It was later in the story that I questioned if Rob's parents were aware of the house' tragic history...super scary to be the only and last to know? I can hardly wait to read the next story!

There is a cycle hear a pattern of emotional ups and downs that makes your heart beat faster at points so all in all a really good read. Are all of these books by different authors? Love the flow to the series. A few too many typos but that didn't stop the stories from impacting.

Just finished this story and loved the story. It was very believable and the characters were well thought out. The only problem and the reason l did not give five stars , there were a lot of typing errors and misspelled words. That always bugs me. A good read.

Awesome books! I downloaded the entire series and can't put it down. Mr. Hayden is a very talented writer, whose works i look forward to reading hopefully for many years to come. Trust me, you too, will love these stories and characters.

I loved everything about this book, I manage a restaurant and put in some very long hours, the entire time I was reading this book my mind was on it, couldn't wait for a free minute to get back, a real good read, if you pick this book up you will not won't to put it down. I enjoyed reading your books. They were thrilling and heart pounding. The events were unpredictable and worth reading on for the final twist. I recommend having someone proof read before final publication.
