This is a great book for MLP lovers. My daughter sits and reads this for so long! She learns facts she didn't know from the show and shares them with us all. It's much more interesting than I expected.

This book is a fun read for kids and bronies alike, giving a lot of information on the show, characters, song lyrics, and even contains interviews with the people who worked on the show as well as Lauren Faust herself. This is well worth the money I paid for it.

love the book it is a definate asset to my little pony fans it was also great to find both seasons 1 and 2 at a great price . I would recommend buying the book and seasons 1 and 2 it makes a great gift set

This is definitely one of the more prized books in my possession. I'vent read too far yet, but from what I've seen so far, it's really slick. The references are great, and the original concept sketches from Lauren Faust are really cool.

This book is Perfect for any age My Little Pony fan! It has the lyrics to all the song, pony bios & episode breakdowns, with all the friendship lesson quotes from the end of each episode! A must have for any true MLP fan!

My daughter absolutely adores this book. She is a big My Little Pony fan and was especially thrilled to have the lyrics for all the songs. The book itself is very attractive and "magical" looking. I would highly recommend this for any My Little Pony fan who's old enough to read.

this book is 20% cooler than any other book I read. it's full of great art and guides. the only problem is that I thought when it said it came with a map of equestrian I thought they meant a poster, what I got was something different, but it is still a good book so to all you bronies and pegasisters pls buy this book

The quality and beauty of this book was a pleasant surprise! My daughter absolutely LOVES it! Just ordered another copy for my niece's birthday.
I also expected it to be bigger, but the small size is actually so much more appealing than a huge guidebook size (I was expecting the kind they sell for videogames - obviously, I didn't read the dimensions in the description). When I saw it was smaller, I was happy, since my daughter LOVES smallish books that she can carry around. She is 5 and is a HUGE fan of the show!! :)

Update: Book has TOTALLY fallen apart! OK, I know what you're thinking - a FIVE-year-old's book, of course she abused it. Well, you'll just have to take my word for it that that is not the case. (I'm the kind of mom who is kind of 'anal' about things being put away properly, etc., so not like this book was shoved down in a couch cushion or anything like that.) This book wasn't abused in any way but the binding has totally failed and all the pages are falling out. I tried to contact the publisher only to get the run-around. As much as I HATE to do it, since I've already paid for it once, I reordered a new one for my daughter because she loves the book. But out of all the books I've ever owned, this one is the ONLY to fail like this, so it was obviously defective. Maybe it was just our copy or maybe it's a defect in the binding glue or whatever.

my daughter cant read by herself yet, so i read a little to her about the pony history etc. its cute, entertaining. SHe enjoys looking at all the photos as well. I think there are newer ponies that are not in this book, but its not a big deal. OVerall we are happy with the book, it looks like the ELements of Harmony book on the show too. cute

My kids are getting into chapter books and like the show so I got this with the intention of giving it to them for Christmas. When I got the book, I was disappointed. I expected it to be a cohesive story which it is not. It is more like snippets from the episodes of the show and little blurbs about the ponies. To enjoy this you would have to be a die hard MLP fan. I returned it.

I bought this and Manvotionals: The Art of Manliness at the same time. When I opened the box my apartment flooded with light and I found myself transported to the Plains of Valour, which I later learned is down the street and to the left from the Fields of Elysium. There, the Marquess of Queensberry and Teddy Roosevelt told me that I had unlocked the key to Ultimate Manliness and that to ascend to the next plane of Nobly Moderated Testosterone I had to defeat the Minor Inconvenience of Woe. I thought that was worth a try and so accepted the challenge.

Of course, in hindsight I should have guessed that to Teddy Roosevelt a "Minor Inconvenience" would of course be a nine foot tall suit of fire-breathing samurai armor animated by the combined visceral hatred and pettiness of a small country. Having already accepted the challenge, though, my honor was at stake and so I girded my sword (metaphorically, of course) and fought the demon-lord bare-fisted.

Since I'm only about 125 pounds sopping wet, I had to use my head. To make a long story short, I headbutted the thing into submission. Anyone who doubts how I could take out an evil giant armor-golem should ask any of the people I've headbutted if I could do it. If they can respond through the flashbacks, they'd probably say "sounds like something Tim could do."

Anyway, while Roosevelt liked my never-say-die attitude the Marquess thought it was a rather low-born strategy. Due to their split decision I couldn't ascend to the next plane, but they did decide to crown me Master of the Art of Manly Friendship and told me to go forth into the world and evangelize the combined virtues of Friendship and Manliness. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to assemble a posse to that end, and then we shall become noble knights-errant travelling across the world righting wrongs and proving that while haters will always hate they shall never prevail against the light of Friendship, Manliness, and the Equestrian way.

I love this so much it is so much bigger and awesomer than I actually thought it was going to be!
It is beautiful every page the hard cover is just amazing! Any true MLP FiM Fan would kill for this.

I can safely say that I would recommend this to anyone who loves books loves colorful bright pages who loves excellent story who just simply loves life in general! If you like being alive and you like small adorable ponies than this book is probably for you! c: /)

I swooped this up from the store as soon as it was available, great price! We have a lot of pony books at home with my two young girls clearly obsessed with MLP. This one was great! Every episode aired has a summary, all the lyrics to every single song ever sang on the series, all the characters are introduced. Design and art, background, even a note from the series creator is in there. This book blew all my expectations away, it is surprisingly full of lots of fun facts, and it is very long, which is great! The cover art is gorgeous, I definitely recommend this for any MLP fan!

I am a 11 year old and I LOVE My Little Pony!! I have this book and it is awesome! It has a little story in the beginning that was in the first episode of the first season. It shows things about some episodes from season one to season three. (Which I've seen all of them). I think this is a good book for anyone who absolutely loves My Little Pony. So I definitely think this is a FIVE STAR book.

My son is turning 8 and has loved MLP for a while now. He was a closet Brony but as he has looked around and talked to other kids in his class he has found another Brony so he is not as quiet about it now. I am trying to encourage his reading so I thought this would be a good way to do it, especially since this book is 20% cooler than other books. While he hasn't read it cover to cover yet I know he will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

The Ultimate Encyclopedia for Friendship is Magic fans. It answers interview questions, gives detailed biographies on the characters, concept art, and just so much more. I love the shout-out they give to the fans of all ages. Definitely a heart-warming and wonderful book. Get it RIGHT NOW!

At first glance this book is is the essential guide book for MLP fans but this is just for little kids. Anyone who loves this new generation of pony's but is older than 7 will be able to point out the countless flaws in the book such as missing facts, wrong bio's and even wrong names. Could they try making one of these for older fans that has better (and accurate) info?

My daughter just turned 7 and I try to encourage as much reading as possible. She is really enjoying it. It's really cute. I love the song lyrics in the back. She doesn't feel pressured to read the whole thing and can just pick a short story to read each evening. I even caught her with a flashlight the other night!

A wonderful book! The characters, places, and elements of the show are all contained here. If you're unable to watch or purchase the tv seasons, get this book instead. All the episodes (seasons 1-3) are summarized up here, and letters from creator Lauren Faust and others who worked on the show are here too. A MUST for any Brony or Pegasister.

you should have written about how the elements were made and who made them although we all no it's clover the clever.But still if you put elements of Hannah there expecting you to write about the elements of harmony and how the were made.I give you 1 star rating

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter, who adores the show. She has read it nearly every day since it arrived, and she loves it! She takes it with her everywhere and has it out when she watches the show to follow which episode is playing and learn the words to all the songs. Cost of the book is reasonable, the joy it gives her is priceless.

This book is fabulous! I have a pony obsessed 4 year old, and when I found out that a friend from high school had written a book covering all things pony, I knew that she had to have it! It's better than I could have imagined...the first week she had it she literally carried it everywhere. She can open to any page, look at the picture, and tell me what the episode is about before I read it to her. The pictures are beautiful and no detail is left behind! Highly recommend for any MLP fan!

She is over the moon when she opened up! at first she was disappointed that her present is a book ! kekekeke.... But when she saw the cover her face lit up. jumping up and down after she flipped open the book. Couldn't wait for the next day to come as she wants to show her friends who are crazy over MLP! The book was amazingly written. It had all of it! Song lyrics, Episode guides, Character bios, Even a map of eqeustria! It had beautifull cover art and pre-production art. Any fan from any age would enjoy this book. It has dialoge between the characters in the back and front page. Truely better than expected!

This book provides so much more insight into the intricacies and details of Ponyville and Equestria and gives a great deal of background information as well as. It is a must have for Pony lovers of all ages!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old. She loves to read and is a huge MLP fan. This book is small but it is full of beautiful illustrations and stories about characters, places and how friendship is magic began. It's a sturdy hardcover book that will last a long time and will most likely become a collector item. This book is a must for MLP fans.

It's great but obviously is only going to cover so much. I hope there will be a vol 2 in a few years to add on everything from this point on. Nicely made book. Sharp illustrations and plenty of info.
