The Rational Male is one of the most helpful books for any man. It's important for any man to understand how a woman prioritizes different males at different stages of her life. As a younger man at 24, I can't help but feel extremely grateful to Rollo for putting the big picture in perspective. This will help you understand why at 18 that young woman you were dating didn't want to get married, and then 15 years later that same woman at 33 will need you more then ever. Men need to be aware of the different strategies women have when it comes to sex and relationships. This book can literally save your life. I advise any man to read this well before even thinking about marriage.

For the 2nd straight time, Rollo dispels feminist myths almost scientifically. His professional 3rd person writing style disarms the typical "angry Mysoginist" strawman argument feminists use to silence people.

Rollo single handledly taught me the red pill and inspired me to become an author of 2 books myself.

I give it 5 stars.

Rollo's writing could be improved. He sometimes repeats himself, he sometimes uses too much words to explains something but all in all....the value of this book is in the knowledge. It is so important for men to understand the concept that going through some not very well written sentences is not a big deal at all. That's why I give it 5 stars.

Every man needs to read and soak up this knowledge. It is a hard realisation when you think of all the blue pill mistakes made in the past but you can have confidence and optimism about the future no matter what your current circumstance.

The first printing of the Rational Male (different book) had small type, various typos remaining from blog posts, and other issues.

This book, in contrast, is of higher quality both in terms of printing and in terms of editing. This book also has a better overall structure than the previous Rational Male book: this book takes you through the life cycle of a representative female in the current sexual marketplace, indicating how best to understand the motivations and priorities of a typical woman who is in that phase of life. This creates a core narrative of sorts that makes this book feel more like a cohesive whole.

Certain terminology is not explained in depth in this book, as that was the focus of the previous Rational Male book, but this book is nonetheless self-contained. If you're totally new to the subject area you may have to google a few terms, but even then that need won't arise frequently.

Until a revised 2nd edition of the original Rational Male book comes out, this is the best place to start in reading through Rollo's work.

dislikes... the are multiple spelling and grammatical errors.

likes... content. this book, along with the rational male, are MUST READS for every man! they should be read and fully understood.

my complaints about the spelling and grammar errors are only called out because I feel books that are this important should be 100 correct...bc the info is just that important.

Do it!
Do it now !

Being in the military and about to go to Iraq, I now understand how I got so many lays. Back then I didn't give a s*** about what people thought and I see how this attracted women to me.
Don't let women use you anymore..
Educate yourself so you don't have to settle with a fat nasty.

"Let me tell you why you're here. You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain, but you feel it. You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?"

As school children, we all remember learning this famous speech Abraham Lincoln delivered to his pirates as they advanced on Moscow.

Today men have the same uneasy feeling. We know a grand game of the emperor's new clothes is being played when it comes to gender relations. It's so insidious and pervasive that most are not even consciously aware of what's happening. It's just the way things are.

But if you have even a few nanograms of free testosterone left, you still feel that splinter. Something isn't right.

Enter Rollo "No Beta Left Behind" Tomossi. If you're ready to hear what he has to say, it may be life-altering knowledge that finally makes sense of women. Along with elder statesmen like Heartiste and Roosh, Rollo has been a voice in the wilderness for years.

If you're not ready, you may be triggered. You may be shaking and crying. You may scream "Wow just wow! Seriously!?" These are normal reactions. But if you tough it out to the other side, you will see gender relations clearly. How you deal with this new reality is up to you.

I really enjoyed and got a lot out of the first "Rational Male" book but this feels like the same thing all over again, with some charts thrown in and a more science. None of it feels necessary and only reinforces ideas that didn't need reinforcing unless you are someone who isn't red pilled. Like the first book, it's plagued with terrible formatting which makes it difficult to read. Despite that, the first book I gave 5 stars because I think it's important to read and everyone should be exposed to this information but a sequel wasn't needed in my opinion.

red pill/MGTOW

Best in the manosphere to understand Hypergamy!!
This is a book for sharing wisdom to younger folk and to immediately voice concerns with others.
Talks less about game but more about walking on eggshells in a peculiar environment.
This book is better than Paul Elam's book.

For Mgtow:

briffaults law
mature women nonsense
Rollo does comment on MGTOW, info will aid you, but at sometimes shallow depth.
Since Rollo is from Sosuave and Pook and the mill. Go check out Truthovereverything on Youtube as he is like a bridge from PUA and knows everything!
I consider Rollo to be the counterpart to Stardusk in MGTOW. The Rational male is more Psychological, game, plot & circle, and more of a father-figure. While Stardusk, is deeply intellectual, philosophical, evo psych and biological explanatory discussions. Youtube - "Stardusk Rollo" as he jabs. Sandman is more popular than Stardusk.

Pay attention!! to the break phase, epiphany & transitory phase for mgtow.
Best chapters and segments: open hypergamy and conditioning (1945 must read), social convention. ego investments 1990, equalism 2119

Study the Graphs:

Female hormonal 426
Study timeline graphs 628, this is the most important to understand the psychological and biological aspects of female nature
The Subdominant Model 1890, back to the plantation beta male! Know your place!

Cool quotes:

"Alpha seed, Beta need." 464 comical
"Betas at the Epiphany – Saving the Best" 1129 PUA's love leftovers!
"pre-whipped" 1900 - beta-destined LOL
"Hypergamy doesn’t care about equalism or reciprocity." 2179
"think karma's...." 2554- rational male talking about karma, that is not logical

Must read as well as his first book.
Maybe his next book will be Preventive Suicide. I was a bit disappointed with no mention of the carousel here.
Go play games with your hamsters!

Greetings fellow awakened men.

I’ve read through a mere 30% of the book, and I feel ready to say that it is an incredible work.

It feels pretty &*%$ to be defeated, doesn’t it? In the war of the sexes, the generation of our fathers has been completely decimated. It wasn’t even a contest. Women control western society: its memes, conventions and subconscious beliefs, they write the rules. You’ll find this work, from an average perspective, pretty anti-female. The line that got me was: “womb-en”. I stared at this for awhile, thinking "is this a typo?”. To be sure, Rollo Tomassi is representing the Male end of the argument from a position of intellectual superiority and even anger. So many men have been burned through our situation, on such a large scale, causing such incredible unhappiness and suffering, that his anger is justified.

Realise that the picture given to modern men, the blueprint of how to live your life, is like taking the most ideological, popular, boring ride at an amusement park. Your close loved ones, guardians, police, teachers, everyone you ever looked up to all take this ride and ask you in various direct and indirect ways to please get on the ride and come with us. If you are a woman, a minor or a farm animal the impetus to take any other route would be hard to find. It is a sad day indeed when the opportunity for a true Alpha to go his own way is missed, and he elects to take that boring, repetitive, backwards, corrupt *&^%ing ride. This world is an open book, you can write anything you want in your masterpiece. Are you gonna tell me you just want to neatly and meekly copy the chapters of everyone around you?

Rollo Tomassi is a bright man. He understands and sees through the house of mirrors. He is a true red blooded Alpha. As a dedicated blog follower I take this opportunity to send some spare change his way. His writing helps sooth the wounds inflicted by human nature and cultural dogma. His recent post on female indignation, for example, has had me noticing this feminine pattern everywhere within the women in my life. In this way his teachings give me new tools to fight back. Suddenly I find new awareness, power though knowledge, and the now naked truth seems almost dully obvious. Through the freedom of the internet and at no ongoing costs I am gifted with Tomassi’s influence in my life. Thanks Bro.

This is the second book I've read from Tomassi and it's the second time I've encountered the same frustration: reading it is a pain in the ass. Let me explain. Tomassi makes great points, so the content of the book is sound and excellent. What lets it down is the way it's expressed: convoluted sentences with too many adjectives and adverbs that unnecessarily burry the point he's trying to make. He says something with 100 words that could be said in 10, often repeating himself over and over. This really distracts from the points he makes.

I'd naturally blame the editor, but the editor can only do so much. Tomassi needs to improve (by simplifying and avoiding verbosity) his writing.

The first book was already a masterpiece, this one even exceeds it. With a much better structure and edition, for me it becomes the most important book for any man when it comes to gender dynamics...it cuts right through al the bulls*** the media has told you to believe about the nature of women, and how you as a man should behave. It leaves you with a brutally honest truth, that at the end, if you accept it will set you free.

Rollo knows what he's talking about when it comes to women, inter-gender and social dynamics. A much needed complement to his other book The Rational Male. His thinking on the hierarchies of love, social primacy and hypergamy are unlike anything else I have seen in the market. A must read.

This is my second book by Tomassi and find it awful to read. I somewhat enjoyed the first book which explains the feminine imperative that we are all living under, it was a bit of a slog but I forced myself to finish it, it took months by the way. I thought this book would tie many ideas together to create a philosophy or wholistic view of our predicament. For some reason I cannot get thru the first chapter. I have jumped around the book hoping to find something to sink my teeth into but I feel no reason to keep going. I really could not care less about the whole menstrual cycle of women, with hormones, ages, etc. I think Tomassi is trying to be the poor man's Freud. A review of Freud's ideas about women will say more in a few pages than these pop culture explanations.

Read this book and you can skip almost anything else red pill blogs has to offer. Live your life, then keep mental notes on what this book talks about, you will be amazed on how accurate this book depicts reality.

While this book has ideas of merit which many of today’s men could benefit from being exposed to, it is quite a slog to read. Unfortunately, the Kindle version is riddled with editing errors, with many words being incorrectly hyphenated. A comment on the store stated that the book spent six months being edited, but many mistakes have not been found, or just have not been corrected. ‘Hyper-gamy’ is a common example, ‘womb-an’, which is supposed to be ‘woman’. Tomasi’s previous book was of the same editing standard, where passages were repeated word-for-word a couple of pages apart. The writing style is barely comprehensible in many instances and repetitive. Sentences go on forever. He also misuses ‘literally’, when describing young women’s sexual freedom. If a woman has many options, she is figuratively in a candy shop choosing flavors. Not literally standing in a candy shop. If this kind of thing annoys you, this book might not be for you.

I cannot believe any reader with just basic familiarity with human psychology and some understanding of how causal relationships are established in scientist would find this book worthy of more than one star. The author presents a biased overgeneralized and subjective view of male humans that likely is appealing to men who believe that boys are always boys. I am writing this review based on the audible sample I listened to, but I found that a fair sample of the rest of the book.
