I couldn't have asked for a better end to this great series. I have been sucked into this story from the very first chapter. The characters are really what sucked me in. The emotions were so real I had trouble reading some parts. I'm sad it's over, but so glad to have an ending like this!

This entire series was a roller coaster ride of awesome. If I could turn this into a movie, the world would be rapt with the insanity that is the Debt Inheritance. This was a solid end to a VERY sordid and solid story. I will be raving about the twists and turns of this literary ride for years to come. Definitely a series to read and then revisit!

Good not great, I enjoyed the series but felt the story was a bit bloated. I will never start reading a book without knowing if the series is complete. Hard to remember details between releases. I have not read the epilogue yet perhaps this will answer questions I still end. I found the ending satisfying and enjoyable.

An Epic ending to an epic dark series. I loved this series. It was tough to read in some parts but I do love a dark story and this was one of the darkest I have read and one of the best, if not the best. If you like them dark do yourself a favour and read the whole series. I cant wait to see what Pepper Winters comes up with next.

The Indebted series was my first read by Pepper Winters! I honestly didn’t know what to expect! I can tell you I was not at all disappointed!

This series is a magnificent work of art! I can tell you as soon as I finished I had a massive book hangover!

I also recommend The Dollar Series!

*I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review*

The Final Debt! I have read every book in this series (which you should), so I have been anticipating this book. I just couldn’t wait for Nila, Jethro, Kes, Jasmine & Vaughn to get their peace! I feel like I know them in some strange way. Like I have been reading their diaries and felt their pain, sadness, anger & love. That might be strange considering the series is fiction, but it just proves what a wonderful writer Pepper Winters is. She is and will always be one of my all time favorite authors. Her writing is so raw. I always feel a connection to her characters. Some may think this series is too dark or too unbelievable, but isn’t that the fun and intrigue of reading a fictional story? All I know is, I loved every single book in this series. Even when I would get angry at parts or cry over others, I still loved every minute. And, I absolutely love Nila & Jethro, flaws and all. I even love Jasmine, Vaughn & dear Kes. This book is very intense. There is a lot of death and destruction but closure most of all. I loved learning more history of the debt inheritance in this book. I loved how strong and full of love Jethro & Nila are in this book. And, I was ecstatic for them to find there HEA! I will be reading the epilogue next, because I already miss them :)

Holy diamond on a cracker!!!!! I just finished Final Debt and Indebted Epilogue by Pepper Winters in a race against the clock to get this review out before the tour and OMG I didn’t sleep a wink because not only was the clock counting down on my reading time but also the fact that I could not put these books down. I was rabid! I think hubby lost a few fingers while drumming them on the counter trying to get my attention because the fur-babies and he were going hungry from neglect because unless it involved work, I totally shut down and entered Hawksridge for the Final Debt then floated on pink puffy clouds of princess goodness for the Indebted Epilogue.
So let’s dive right in………
Final Debt is the last installment in Pepper Winter’s Indebted series before the Indebted Epilogue. I’ll be reviewing both books for ya seeing as how they came to me as a set and I don’t think it would be fair to separate them, kinda like twins, so there!
In Final Debt, we pick up right where we left off in book 5. Our heroine Nila has just met up with our hero, Jethro (her newly resurrected lover). He’s got a plan to end the debts once and for all (oh brother) and is lying in wait in the woods to heal a bit more and to put his plan into motion. In order for his plan to work though, Nila must go back to Hawksridge and continue on like Jethro is not alive until he can make his big move. Reluctantly Nila goes back into the estate to face down her crazy captors until her soulmate comes for her. Little does she know that the baddies have other plans for her, mainly paying unpaid past debts and the biggest being the final one, death! The two lovers/conspirators believe there’s time for Jethro’s plan to work but little does Nila know that the remaining Hawks have moved up their plans and they wait for no man or Weaver!
As soon as our unsuspecting Nila enters the grounds, she is kidnapped and carted away to Africa to visit the family diamond mines and to pay restitution for the failed 3rd and 4th debt. Will Nila survive thousands of miles away from Jethro? Does he even know she’s gone? Will he come for her and if so, will he be in time to stop the payments or will her worst nightmares be extracted and exacted on her? When you have payments like these, you definitely don’t want to be indebted……..
Vague much Toot’s???? Why yes, yes we are!!!!! Bwahahahahahaha
If you haven’t read Pepper’s Indebted series, these are a must. Yes they are kinda dark erotica but honestly they are probably some of the most unique storytelling I have ever come across. It sweet, it’s a bit PNR, it’s erotic and you’re eyes will definitely bug out at some of the atrocities that are committed in the name of history, greed, selfishness, twisted idealism, horrible righteous people, blackmail, money, power and out and out torture but you’ll also cheer, sigh, cry, yell, scream and go through an entire mixture of emotions while reading it and then once the rollercoaster is over, there’s even an oooey gooooey happy feels epilogue to make it all better. Yep you heard me, an oooey gooooey happy feels epilogue and that’s all you’re getting from me! I have cried buckets of tears, gasped till I got the vapors, had nightmares for Nila and Jethro, and cheered when the baddies got their comeuppance only to then have my heart broken into a million pieces but Pepper didn’t leave me hangin’, nope she mended the wretched thing with duct tape and staples in the epilogue.
Seeing as how these are the final two books in the series, I honestly don’t want to give you any more because I hate spoilers but I will say that the Epilogue is written just how I like them. Give me a bit of the now, then fast forward a few years to catch me up and then do it again so I can see where we’ll be in the future. Loved it!!!!
If you’ve never read this series, it’s not too late to join the bandwagon. I’d give this series a million billion sparkly and black diamond review if I could. I recommend it to anyone and everyone over the age of 18. Please, please, please trust me for once and pick up the first book which is currently free and give it a try than come back her and thank me *grin*
Oh and guess what fans, there’s a surprise at the end of the Epilogue, Indebted isn’t over, nope there’s gonna be a new story. We’re traveling back in time to see how it all started! We’re gonna meet William *happy dancing and butt jiggling all over the freakin’ place*
5 big happy black diamond stars!!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I've been sitting here, wondering how on earth I'm ever going to be able to put my thoughts and feeling to paper... To even come remotely close enough to expressing how much I've adored this book, the Final Debt. How do I adequately describe the sorrow, terror and hope that's been fluttering around like a flight of butterflies that have taken up residence in my stomach? I don't think I can find the right words but I've given it my best shot.

If you've read the previous 5 books in this series, you'll have been perched on the edge of you seat anxiously waiting to see if and how things can progress from where they were left off. If you haven't read them....where the hell have you been? Get reading!

There are so many answers provided in this book but along with those answers comes the true devastation that while the final debt looms over the horizon, there's a deep pit threatening that maybe it just can't be avoided any longer.

Nila is swept away by the two worst people she could possibly be forced to accompany and it seems there is little hope. She learns so much but can she ultimately teach them a lesson or are they untouchable?

I've waited throughout the series for something to happen, a comeuppance of some sort and honestly, an audible cheer of "Yes!" escaped me when it finally did. Euphoria! While there's more than one of these moments throughout book #6, along with that thrill, comes more desolation. Even when things look like they might turn out the way I (the reader) want them to - wills them to - there's more wreckage around the corner.

This books has put me through an emotional rollercoaster that's had me feeling utter joy, faith that maybe things will work out and absolute annihilation when they don't. I've cried both tears of exhilaration and tears of anguish.

I haven't read the Epilogue yet - released as book #7 - but its open on my kindle, waiting to be read. I'm not sure my poor heart can take much more but I'm compelled and addicted to this story.

I honestly can't recommend this book or series highly enough. It's an absolute masterpiece!

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless book chic’s ramblings and reviews

There are many books which are centuries old that we call classics and in my opinion, this book, in fact every book in the series, should be given that title.

This is the conclusion to a story of star-crossed lovers with dark family secrets and a Heroine that equals Elizabeth Bennet for her strength, intelligence and sharp tongue. Altogether, it equates to a story that imprints itself permanently on your psyche and leaves you with the biggest book hangover you’ve ever experienced.

Pepper Winters has such a unique way of writing characters that you instantly bond with them and every time they hurt, you feel it, every time they experience joy, you feel it, every emotion and thought is written in such a profound way that you feel like you’re seeing it through their eyes at every stage.

This was my most anticipated book this year and it was definitely worth the wait. By the end of the book, I was an emotional wreck, every emotion from happiness, anxiety, shock, despair, elation and grief was pulled out of me at every turn of the page.

At the beginning we follow Nila’s journey to Africa with Cut and Daniel. The events that transpired were intense and we were given more secrets from the past as the fourth debt was carried out. Then the story takes us back to Hawkesridge and that’s when Nila truly becomes iconic in my eyes and the best book Heroine I’ve ever read.

As I have a family member with Vertigo, I understand how debilitating it can be and the way Pepper wrote Nila’s condition was accurate and I empathised with her every time she had an attack. I was fascinated by Jethro’s condition and throughout the book, both characters show so much love and compassion for each other and they are equals to Mr Darcy and Elizabeth as my most loved book couple ever written.

5 stars doesn’t seem nearly enough to give for such an amazing piece of literature and it was bitter-sweet reading the last page. Luckily, Indebted the epilogue is available so I continued my addiction for the series. I highly recommend this book and suggest that if you've not experienced Pepper Winters writing yet, you should one click every book she’s written as they’re all amazing.

Just when I was convinced that I have read it all, that isn’t so because Pepper Winter continues to surprise us with even more unexpected twists and turns in this sixth installment of this riveting series. The degree of creativity that she manages to embed into every facet of “Final Debt” is simply endless!

There are multiple aspects of this book that stood out for me, the most important would be the unveiling all the mysteries behind the Weaver/Hawk Legacy – both from the present and the past. What was striking about this was how far the author took it. She not only tells us of the inexplicable hardship that Nila and Jethro are currently going through, but she also discloses the horrors that occur in previous generations. I appreciated that we were able to catch a glimpse of that world and in doing so proved just how much “history repeats itself.”

Another thing great about the book was the character building. To say that both Nila and Jethro have been through it all is an understatement. They’ve been a part of so much depravity yet they never had the will to give up. They knew that as long as that the other still existed that there was always a way. The love and dedication that they had for each other was infallible. Nothing, not even death could separate them. Nila and Jethro were certainly fated to be until the very end.

I do have to mention that these books aren’t for everyone. The entire series is dark, dark enough that I took much-needed breaks between chapters to process my thoughts and feelings. There were moments that it became too much – the debauchery too overwhelming and just when I wanted to give up something beautiful occurs. This is what kept me going. This is what kept me tethered to my seat. This is what made this story stand out. And this is why Pepper Winters will always be one of my favorite authors. She pushes the boundaries and never ever disappoints in delivering a magnificent story.

Final Debt from the Indebted Series is Here! The epic conclusion to an even more epic series is in our grabby little hands! Final Debt is hands down my favorite book of the series. I have to say, I am sad to know that Jethro and Nila's story is over. BUT, I am confident that these characters will pop up again somewhere. So many of the secondary characters all have stories that could be told and I know the love in my heart for all of them is strong, so I can only imagine they will stay beating in Pepper's also and continue speaking to her.

In Final Debt, strength will be tested, truths revealed and secrets unraveled in this heart stopping twisted tangle of webs from Pepper Winters!

Who will survive? Will the Debt Inheritance continue on or will it finally cease to exist? Will you feel compassion for those you never thought you could or will you hold onto the deep hatred that has festered through the other books?

I guess the better question is this: Will YOU survive reading this? What an amazing series this has been. Pepper never ceases to amaze me with her brilliance. I laughed, I cried, I cringed and had goosebumps from head to toe in each and every single book. Oh the feels you will experience, especially in Final Debt. You never know what is coming next and the anticipation will just about kill you. This is a must read series. All of this amazing authors books are an automatic one click for me. If you haven't read anything by her, pick up just one and you'll be hooked!

I am rendered speechless and I feel like I have been through a war.... The Final Debt by Pepper Winters was every thing I thought it would be and much MORE. Gut wrenching, heart stopping, nail biting, head swimming, soul shattering, awe inspiring.... It is filled with tears of utter sorrow and pure Joy. Your heart and head will be overwhelmed with the buffet of emotions you will feel, see sawing back and forth. Conflicting and colliding... All questions are answered. Unlikely POVs are heard. This final installment had it all. You can never be too certain of your stance in a Pepper Winters book, she has the ability to manipulate your emotions and have you seeing things in a whole new light. She can make monsters turn human.... trust me your opinions will sway. Two families, two stories... This started out as a tale of past debts and revenge, ended with two soulmates, indebted to each other. They purged their past and embraced their future. The amount of love and devotion between Nila and Jethro is palpable and transcendent. Proving that sometimes loves does conquer all.

This is a series that is pure fiction.. A wicked fairytale. There are parts that are outlandish and totally crazy, but that's why we love it!! It's our escape from reality. Pepper created a world that is somewhere between ancient times and modern day. It was often terrifying, but mostly it was wonderfully exhilarating. I loved being transported into this imaginary world. I will forever be Indebted to Pepper for allowing me entry! In a market flooded with books daily, Pepper's books stand out and are unparalleled... They are exemplary! The Indebted Series is like a living entity, embedding itself deep with in our hearts and minds. For those of us who are fortunate enough to get it, Nila and Jethro are now a part of us and we are forever grateful. Thank you Pepper Winters!

One of my most anticipated releases, I literally started this book 5 minutes after it hit my kindle. Like other fans of this series, I was desperate to know how Nila got her revenge. Because it couldn’t be a matter of “if” she got her revenge, right? I mean, if this author took me through 6 books of anxiety filled torture, and ended it without retribution, we’d have problems.

From the moment Nila, Cut and Daniel touch down in Africa, my heartrate was racing. And then we get to 14% . . . and I may have screamed at my kindle, “no, this can’t be happening!!!” I was a mess!

Bonnie, Cut and Daniel
I can’t begin to rank my hatred for these three. Not only have that brought down punishment on Nila, but they seem to fully enjoy doing so. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEM? That has been my thought throughout. They obviously are missing the morality gene. And all three deserve some serious karma.

Can I tell you if this happens? No. But like I said earlier, do you really think this author would leave us hanging? I can tell you that what goes down between Nila, Jethro, Bonnie Cut and Daniel, brought me through the full circle of emotions.

From the beginning, I have wavered back and forth in regards to my opinion of Nila. Sometimes her inner monologue annoyed me, but more times, I felt extreme sympathy for everything that she endured. I’m not sure many others could hold up and not completely break from the agony and sadness. In this book, she simply amazed me by her resiliency. I was about to give up hope with the fire scene, but she fought her way through it and I couldn’t help but fully support her after that. With her actions, she not only considers her own well-being, as to what she can live with, but also considers how it will impact Jethro, especially considering his condition.

Although my feeling for Nila changed often, my opinion of Jethro only grew stronger, in a good way, with each book. If you read my review of the first book, you’ll know that I hated him, with good reason. But as he began to expose himself, showing Nila his true colors, he won me over. Even though his condition made him weak in many peoples eyes (Bonnie and Cut, in particular), he showed his strength and willingness to fight through the pain to save Nila. The most powerful scene in the book takes place when he and Cut are alone. It’s there that we see, through a series of flashback, how horribily he was treated as a child. Truly heartbreaking. And then what happens to Jasmine . . . This is one of the hardest parts of the book to read, but it was also my favorite part. The level of emotions between Jethro and Cut, with confessions and forgiveness. All the feels.

As expected, this book has several goodbyes, both good and bad. It was interesting to briefly get that person’s POV and see their true feelings. The last goodbye was equally sad and beautiful.

With this series, the author has taken me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Like any good dark romance, I was taken out of my comfort level which fueled by anxiety. But she gave me the ending I craved and the hope for a future where good prevails over evil.

Pepper wrote forty-three brilliant chapters trying to clear the voices in her head. The final debt begins where the last book ended with Nila in Africa. Pepper began this story by going back one week to give perspective from all angles how Nila ended up in this predicament. The final book rewards us with the answers we have long awaited. Just a few more distractions and a history lesson along the way to further prove Cut's obsession.
The chapters include both POV's from Nila and Jethro offering instant feedback on the others perspective. This story is about star-crossed forbidden lovers brought together by a debt inheritance many generations long.
Pepper has a natural ability at building the angst. Always expect the unexpected with Pepper. Pepper cleverly used many ingenious forms of torture as payment for the debts. Pepper dragged Nila into the lions den to entertain the Hawkes, then tortured her body with beatings. Pepper's imagination and research surpassed my wild imagination.
The agenda continued to switch and change while the rules were rewritten bringing forth more delay. Jethro and Nila tried to do many things to outplay Cut and Daniel at this evil game. Each valiant attempt was met with disappointment when reality came crashing down. One plan failed while another was implemented only to be outplayed by Cut. Cut with all the answers, the one able to alter the agenda, the one to amend the contacts and create and twist the rules in his favor. Cut is clouded by power and his power is driven by greed.
Pepper's imagination is so vivid and expansive. With creative words she spins a tale full of ingenuity. Peppers storytelling abilities are exquisite. Pepper tortured her readers with anticipation the same way Cut did with Nila.
In order to save Jethro the man she loved she has had to obey Cut the man she hated. Cut offering options when in reality it never changed the conclusion. No matter how many times Cut amended the rules, re-wrote contracts, or changed the agenda he always committed to the final plan which is to end the debt the way it was always intended to with death.
I am in awe at Pepper's mind to have these wild thoughts wanting to break free. The torture scenes are so vivid that I can feel each strike made. The pain and torment is felt in the words.
I wait on baited breathe unsure if more trickery was in the works. Never knowing if Pepper was going to continue throwing out more surprises.
What a way to finish the series. Pepper recapped and revisited locations and memories to bring closure to the pain and bring forth forgiveness.
Pepper writes both her male and female characters with strength, love, forgivenesses, and passion. You can't help but fall in love with Jethro and Nila.

No, I am not ready to write this review. Between the trauma and up and down emotions this final book brings, I am heartbroken to have to say a final goodbye to Nila and Jethro. For months I have lived with them in my brain and heart, wondering what is going to happen next. Will they find their release from this debt that should have never been sought after? Will they both come out alive? Well Pepper Winters gives us the answer and more than I could have even dreamed to ask for.

I won’t even begin to discuss what happens because each and every event, on every single page, needs to be endured and cherished by the reader. I will warn you to have the whiskey and tissues ready because you will be all over the map with emotions, intensity, white knuckling your kindle at times and yes screaming out loud in a few places, sorry again hubby for waking you up, but every minute was worth the pain in finding out what happens to the debt tradition, why it was even in place and could Nila and Jethro win against evil.

Now for the part I didn’t expect. Pepper gives us the background stories that have haunted us while we tried to figure out just who these Hawks are and why the Weavers just gave in to this tradition. We get the POV’s of people who were just a monster and had no soul, to the tender hearted people that played in the background and we forgot they had a voice. But even with all of that, Pepper had one more HUGE surprise for us. You won’t even believe it when you read it.

The Indebted Epilogue was an interesting part of the series. It really did tie up the few loose ends that the final book left. While I am glad I read it, my heart was already a mess from the final book so I was mentally exhausted by the time I got to the last few pieces of the story. I do recommend you read it though, I am sure if I hadn’t, I would have been asking more questions once I came back to my senses and gained control over my brain and heart once Nila and Jethro was finished with me.

There are just no words for this series. NO WORDS. It was an epic ride that I often questioned myself why I put my heart through this, but then I wouldn’t have missed it for anything. I had become a fan of Pepper Winters with her first series and wasn’t sure how she could ever out write that, but man she gave us a life time event with Nila and Jethro.

After spending a year on the series, in my eyes Pepper Winters did it justice. She kept her readers glued to the pages book after book and it all came down to this, and I am satisfied with how the Final Debt ended. Lots of explaining done by various members of each family and I didn't walk away with any unanswered questions. Like the others, this will be a hard book to review, so I'll let Pepper Winters words do it for me, because I pretty much highlighted the entire book!

"Love was the worst enemy, winding its commitment, ensuring no freedom when it came to clearheaded thinking of adversity. Jethro loved too much. Felt too much. Suffered too much." ~ Nila

"It didn't matter where we ended up. What we did for work. How our lives panned out. As long as I was alive with Jethro by my side...I would be home." ~ Nila

"We're family. All sins are forgivable by those who share the same blood." ~ Cut

"I'd loved her for months. Yet it seemed like my entire life. I'd fallen for her as an adult. Yet she's intrigued me as a child. She'd been born for me. I'd been born for her. We were linked. Joined by fate and history and destiny. Star-crossed, doomed from the start, absolutely forbidden lovers." ~ Jethro

"I knew what hell was. I knew...because I was there." ~ Jethro

"I would die tomorrow. But I could live today. I could achieve more in one act of cruelty than I ever could in a coffin." ~ Nila

"I wasn't like my family. I was unique. I was me. And I'd never been more fu@king grateful." ~ Jethro

"I would hold him for the rest of my life and ensure he never felt anything but acceptance, adoration, and unconditional love." ~ Nila

Pepper Winters didn't make it easy for Nila and Jethro, which didn't surprise me since they have been tortured for five books already. As they claw and fight their way back to each other, we learned how deep the love they had for each other really was. At certain points they didn't even need words, their eyes said everything their mouths couldn't. The book is well written in various points of view to bring the story to a close. There is no epilogue with Final Debt, however there is a separate book called Indebted Epilogue to complete the series.

I didn't know whether to be happy or sad when this book finally hit my kindle, 6 books in fifteen months must have been no mean feat for Pepper Winters and she left no holes barred when delivering this final instalment in Jethro and Nila's epic tale.

For five books we have been subjected to cruel and unnecessary debts for Nila to repay in respect of her ancestors and this book was no different in the final debts of the Debt Inheritance.

Pepper, you are a master at your craft, the book has your signature written all over it, the poetic writing, the feelings that the writing portrays and as a reader you feel both Nila and Jethro's pain both physically and emotionally.

This book is literally the climax to this series it had me nervously palm sweating as Nila awaits her fate, will she be the next victim of the Debt Inheritance or will she overthrow the Hawks once and for all.....????

The book is brilliantly paced, no part of this book feels rushed, the book couldn't have been any better, it's full of surprises and lots of extra POV's to heighten the story to epic levels and you see why some characters are why they are and it was just amazing.

This is an epic conclusion to my favourite series ever, it's raw, edgy and seriously bewitching and most of all so imaginative in storyline and its a very creative and original piece of modern literature.

Pepper has added a further book, Indebted Epilogue which is an essential companion to this series.

Could this be it? Time for the Final Debt to be paid. Has Nila run out of ways to escape her fate? Is there no way to break the cycle of so many years of Weaver and Hawk feuding?

Love and hate. The emotions have run hand in hand for Nila since Jethro first came to claim her for the Debt. Each torment that has been suffered from the hands of a Hawk only strengthened Nila’s will to fight. No matter how hard they sought to break her, Nila fought back. Grasping from the depths of her will…fighting for every Weaver that came before her. Determined to break the cycle.

Nothing prepared her for Jethro. The man Nila should hate. The captor that has now grabbed her soul. A love that grew from the hate. Now that love is tested.

Final Debt is the book that so many fans of the Indebted series have waited for. Readers will pick right up where the last book ended. What you will find are revelations about the past, secrets that have been hidden so carefully, and a love that faces any battle head on. In the end….we all have one question….will the Hawks prevail in their reign of terror? Can Nila and Jethro break the cycle of death that surrounds their family legacies.

For me, I found myself soaking up this story. Wondering if the over the top antics of the Hawk family would end anytime soon. The destruction that Cut and Bonnie have dealt out during their lifetime tops all other Hawks throughout the centuries. I found myself rooting for Jethro and Nila….wondering if either would see the ‘end’. What I discovered were more secrets that I needed answered. My answers came in an unexpected surprise.

What were they? Well - I am certainly not spoiling one single moment of this series for you. Grab the book…but be prepared to read all the way to the end. Trust me - you will want answers too!!

Loved it, loved it!! This book is the epic conclusion to a great series by Pepper Winters. We finally get all the answers to the secrets between the Hawks and Weavers. I was enthralled from the very beginning, and this book is even more intense and has a lot of emotional turmoil that it was hard for me to put it down. The relationship between Nila and Jethro is unique and complicated, but their love is undeniable. Now, it is time for Nila to pay the final debt. The Hawks (Cut, Bonnie, and Daniel) are just atrocious people with a lot of hatred for the Weavers. You will hate how they torture Nila. I had to Google some of the instruments to get an ideal of what was being used to torture Nila—appalling. Nila was taken to Africa by Cut and Daniel to pay the fourth debt, which Jethro was not aware of their departure. Nila exhibited mental strength to try to overcome whatever the Hawks had in store for her since she thought Jethro was still healing and not available to come to her aid. Will Jethro save Nila? Will Nila be able to sustain and find the strength to survive because of her love for Jethro? Does she have the will and determination to fight back? The Final Debt is heart wrenching and will have you having repugnance, love, and feeling poignant. I was heartbroken and sad for one of the characters, but I was also exulted at other times. This is a must read if you enjoy a very deep and dark romance with intrigue, mystery, but can be gut wrenching and blissful. Pepper Winters' writing and stories will never disappoint you. I wish I could give these 6 stars. Thank you Pepper.

Finally, it's here! The thrilling, erotic, nail biting, "OMFG I can't take anymore!" conclusion to Pepper Winters' Indebted series. I was equal parts anxious for this book and terrified of it. I have never been so scared and stressed out while reading before. At about the 40% point or so I wanted to rip my damn hair out. Seriously, it made me binge eat junk food and I have been working extra hard to eat clean!

Nila, Jethro and those they care about have all gone through agonizing pain to get to where they are. How much more can any of them take before they buckle and crack? Oh trust me, you're going to find out and live all of the pain yourself. I loved these star-crossed lovers from the very first word of their story and no one deserves a happily ever after more than they do. But is that really in the cards for them? Can they put a stop to this heinous debt inheritance before the final debt is collected? Blood will be shed, tears will be cried and you may even want to hide your Kindle in fear. (I don't recommend putting it in the freezer).

This entire book had me tense with apprehension. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next while simultaneously being terrified of it. I did not a breath a deep sigh of relief until I got to the end and knew no more damn pain was coming. What an epic journey this series has been and I loved every second of it. Thank you Ms. Winters.

“I’d loved her for months. Yet it seemed like my entire life. I’d fallen for her as an adult. Yet she’d intrigued me as a child. She’d been born for me. I’d been born for her. We were linked. Joined by fate and history and destiny. Star-crossed, doomed from the start, absolutely forbidden lovers.”

“So much had happened. So much pain and debts and death. But this. A simple kiss in simple coffee shop in a simple world. This made it all worth it. This made it all priceless.”

Final Debt is finally here. The wait is over. As soon as this book hit my kindle, I dropped everything I was doing and dove into this story. I have been waiting on pins and needles to get my hands on this book. To say that I devoured this book is a complete and utter understatement. I was up three hours earlier than I normally would be on a Sunday, just to read this book. I could not put it down. The story and the words just consuming me. And let me tell you, it was worth every moment of lost sleep. As I sit here typing up this review, I am tired. I am exhausted. I am emotionally spent; completely drained. And it was worth every second.

What can I say about Final Debt? Final Debt was everything and more. Final Debt is exciting, intense and utterly captivating. You will be taken for the best ride yet. Your questions will be answered, and secrets will be revealed; some will shock and surprise you. Your jaw will be tired from clenching it with every suspenseful moment. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting, just waiting to see how this will all play out in the end. You will be filled with love, hope and anger; never knowing which emotion will be your next. Your mind will be blown.

I am so sad that this story has come to an end, but what a crazy, wild ride it’s been. Pepper Winters has continuously blown me away with this series; with each book being better than the last one. What she has given me here is an intense, gripping story with a very satisfying ending. Pepper Winters has taken me on the most incredible journey. She has taken me outside my normal little happy box of reading and has made fall in love with characters that I never thought I would. She has made me live and experience a world I never knew existed and one I know I will never forget.

I don't even know where to start with these final two books to this amazing series. I've never felt so content with the ending of a series but so utterly broken at the same time. This entire series has blown me away. Pepper is one of my favourite dark read authors. She just knows how to make darkness seem so light.

I'm so sad it's all over... and sad at other things that I can't and won't tell you about. I wanted to cry because some things just aren't fair... but seem so right. I. Was. Destroyed. Devastated.

This is one of the best conclusions I have ever read and the most epic series ever! Pepper managed not to just grip me within her words but her characters too, good and bad. I've LOVED EVERYTHING about these books. I'm a dark read lover. Always have been, always will be. I'll also always buy Peppers books because she is just that good.

This series is outstanding.
Powerful.
Breath-taking.
Stunning.
Magically captivating.
And so much more.

The pain in the words rips your heart to pieces and mends you all at the same time.

I give these books, and the whole series 6 magnificent stars!!!

This book is the end to a debt paid. You need to read all of the Indebted series to understand this one. It is deep, dark, and painstakingly romantic. Nila and Jet are made to be together and and have to fight to get there. I can't wait to read the epilogue. Thanks Pepper for finishing the Hawk and Weaver stories.

Wow. How can I even articulate exactly what I want to say...this story has wrecked me. From beginning to end, I was enraptured and entwined into a world I could never imagine living in.

Every whisper, every kiss, every text message, threat, and history lesson...I wanted, no. I needed more. I craved each chapter, each exchange, each debt.

And then...it was over. My heart was ripped out, squeezed and split open, only to be stitched up and replaced back into the hollow cavity of my chest...over and over again. It was agony. Sweet, sweet agony. I felt it all.
And I never wanted it to end.

Jethro & Nila have forever been placed in my heart, on my mind and a part of me. This series is by far one of my very favorites of all time.

The roller coaster of emotion, the suspense, the straight up torture...it appealed to every morbid part of me and satisfied each request I have when reading a book/series.

I cannot wait to see what Winters cooks up next, her writing is epic of all proportions and her stories don't just play out for you...they become a part of you.

I can't even begin to review this book and do it justice. The whole series is an emotional roller coaster ride, amazing in all ways possible. Gut wrenching, addictive, mind blowing brilliance !!!! Pepper has a way with her writing that draws you into the story on all levels possible, right in to your kindle never to leave until your heart and mind is total mush !!! What an excellent writer she is.
I can't tell you how many times my throat formed a lump from all the emotional turmoil I experienced. Another history lesson , another debt another will he , won't he ??? the whole series has kept me hanging by a thread waiting for this outcome. Sometimes it got all too much and I put my kindle down and walked away for a break, it was THAT good. My poor old heart and mush filled mind couldn't take it !!!! A sign of a great writer may I say !!!
The Hawks and the Weavers will forever hold a spot in my heart especially Nila and Jethro. The conclusion would have done with this book but Pepper has given us the Indebted Epilogue as well to round it off nicely. What a story, what an author !!!! An absolute must read !!!!!!!!!!
Total total brilliance !!!!!!!!!!!!

*Whole series review*

Wow. Going into this series I had such high hopes because almost everyone that continued reading after book 1 was completely taken with this series. And those high hopes were proven right. This series was addicting and heart pounding. It was sexy and fast paced. It was dark, really really dark. But it was a romance for the ages. Seriously. A romance 600 years in the making. Book 1 had me a little wary but it really got my dark side all revved up and each book only got better. While there were parts that were most definitely hard to read. There were parts that made me want to scream with injustice. But all the parts out together made one of the best dark series I've ever read.

*I binge read this whole series in less than a week. Each book ends with a cliffy and even if they hadn't, I still wouldn't have been able to put it down.*

"Ready to die, Nila?"

Pepper Winters has created yet another richly woven story in Final Debt, along with even more backstory and fantastic insight into the series’ characters. It is difficult for me to adequately describe my feelings about this book and the characters, first because I’ve read early copies of almost every one of them and second because Jethro and Nila are two of my favorite main characters. It is hard to say the word “hero” in the same sentence as Jethro because of the dark nature of this series, but trust me, he truly becomes the man he is meant to be in Final Debt. And the Epilogue? Pure gold.

I was completely and utterly satisfied with the way the author concluded this series. My emotions were all over the place while reading this last book and the Epilogue. At times I was fearful that the worst would happen, and at other times I was hoping against hope that Nila and Jethro would overcome all of the dark forces that conspired against them. To say this book is an emotional roller coaster is an understatement. The historical-romance-themed tone of this series again shines through in this book and I am THRILLED at the announcement of a related book about William Hawk! The only thing that would make me happier is if these books were made into a movie or television series.

Expect LOTS of surprises in this incredibly satisfying conclusion to the Indebted Series. My heart is breaking a little at saying goodbye to Jethro and Nila.

Where to start with this book? First, this review will be super short and vague (no spoilers). The last book in an absolutely fantastic series, Final Debt finally gives us answers to the ten thousand questions we've had since reading Debt Inheritance. Pepper has always been able to weave a web with her words, her books always drag you in but this book, for me, was by far the best one. The characters are so in depth, the changes they've gone through since the first book are massive and it shows in their development throughout this series. I started the first book loving Jethro but not been too keen on Nila. With each book, it became more and more about Nila and i loved been able to see her transformation. She kicks a$$. With bucketfuls of emotions, twists, turns, surprises and finally answers this book has it all. An unbelievably addictive, unique series that cements Pepper Winters as my queen of dark.

What a fantastic ending to this series. All questions were answered, a HEA, redemption, everything. The imagery that Pepper can write is spectacular. This series is by far will forever be my favorite. I don't think anyone will ever come close to writing something so perfect. Once again thank you Pepper! Can not wait to indulge myself in all your new characters you write.

And I have to mention the poor reviews I read. I understand everyone has their own opinions. But to say editing was bad and Pepper over wrote, that's just ludicrous. One such review said that this whole series could have been done in 2 books. Really?? I love books with depth and detail. A book is supposed to transport you away from present time. So details are the only way to do that. I hope people do not listen to those poor reviews. Read all the 5 star reviews. We all say the same thing. We can't all be wrong.

The wait for this book was *almost* unbearable!
So excited to finally finish the series, although I hate saying goodbye to characters that I've grown to love.

This book totally made up for book 5!
Without giving anything away, I will say that this has everything: Action, adventure, love, and certainly sexy time - all ends are neatly tied, and characters [may or may not] have been redeemed.

I sincerely enjoyed this series, but I will say that I was expecting a bit more from the ending.

It took me a few days after Final Debt came out to actually pick up the book and start to read it. Even though I wanted to read it right at midnight when it came out I couldn't bring myself to start it because I was not ready to say goodbye to Nila and Jethro. This series is not like most series or trilogies there are seven book in the series and with all those words becomes an attachment that is undeniable. Pepper Winters has made me the hugest fan of hers with the Indebted Series and she did not disappoint with these last two books. Even though it was goodbye it was a happy goodbye.

There is not a whole lot I can say about the book without giving important parts away. What I will say is that a lot of the Hawks and History is revealed in this book, which made me understand the struggle of the two families even more. Beware there is lots of sad parts to the ending of the series but at the same time especially with the epilogue there is lots of happy parts that you will enjoy.

I only wish that this series will go on forever and even though it can not at least we have other works by Pepper Winters to enjoy. At the end of the book Pepper Winters talked about writing more about the person who started the whole debt and his story. So I guess it is not a complete goodbye. I hope you enjoy these last two books as much as I did and as always Happy Reading!

I read the entire series. I cannot say enough how utterly emotional it is to be caught up in the lives of the characters. I don't like to give away details in reviews so I will just say what I feel. This is by far the darkest, most mentally challenging series I have ever read, and I have been reading for a very long time! The writing is so good that you feel the characters rather than read them. At times throughout the series I had to step away for a moment or two just to tell myself it is just a book, not real life. The final book is everything I could have hoped for and much, much more. Kudos to Pepper for this incredible series!

Have you ever had a book completely consume you? Have you ever had a book make you feel every single emotion there is? Now take that and times it times a million.

Pepper Winters will udderly bring you to your knees. The words that flow effortlessly across the pages of her books will literally make you feel as if your heart is being torn out and ripped to shreds. They will consume your soul and break your mind.

Final Debt is the last book in the six book series. We're left with so many unanswered questions in book five, you truly have no way of knowing what the future entails for not only Nila and Jet, but the other characters we not only love, but loathe.

Will love conquer all? Will there be revenge or sorrow? This series had me enthralled from beginning to end. When you think you know what will happen, there's another twist, another turn.

Absolutely, Positively Phenomenal.

"I closed my eyes. I said goodbye...I waited to die."

This was an epic conclusion to the Indebted series. This story has had me by the throat since I finished book one many months ago. With each book more secrets are revealed and more facets to this story are uncovered, so why should the final book be any different. In this book we get more insight into the workings and history of the Hawks and their legacy is completely unfolded through the pages. A truly twisted tale filled with brutality and vendettas. It was fascinating and held me captive with every detail learned.

The Final Debt is drawing nearer and it is a matter of time before the end is upon Nila. She has grown tremendously over the past six books. She is ready to fight for her life and her love. She did things in this book that I have been waiting many, many pages for her to do. She is fierce, even though she is broken down. She is loyal, even when it brings pain and suffering. She holds out hope, even when it is stripped away.

Then there is the star-crossed lover, the dark prince, Jethro. He will stop at nothing to save Nila but life, especially their life, does not always go as planned. He has to rise out of hell and that still isn't enough. Just like Nila has evolved, so has Jethro. He embraces his condition instead of fighting it but in doing that he may just lose himself. He sees what purity is and wants more of it. But to get it, he must do some pretty crazy things.

Always a race against time. A story of generations lost, of debts paid and of a love that transcends the pages; this series will forever be one that stays with me. There have been characters lost and found that others will be compared to. A story so rich and deep that I doubt we even found the bottom of it. And a hope for new tales to come from the few pieces that were left hanging.

I received an ARC for an honest review of Final Debt (Indebted #6) by Pepper Winters

Final Debt just might be the BEST book of the entire sequence! So many questions answered, so many debts repaid (so to speak) and the overwhelming love between Nila and Jethro. The ending of this story is so exciting and heart breaking that I read it cover to cover. Pepper Winters once again took this story and NAILED IT! You leave this story feeling whole and complete, and if you're interested in the future...might I suggest the Indebted Epilogue (Indebted #7) by Pepper Winters.

I didn't feel that this was as good as the other books. I felt that this book seemed to drag out and wasn't as flowing as the others, maybe that was because the author was trying to tie up all the loose ends of everyone's stories.

This isn't a stand alone. Must read the previous books first.
These are dark books, don't take that warning lightly.

I'm going to try my best to do this review where I can give this book all the justice it deserves without spoilers. That includes from the previous ones too.

This book picks up where Fourth Debt leaves off.

In the beginning it started out as a debt. The Weavers owing the Hawk's for all the injustice done to their family eons ago.
Over time it became a love story to rival that of Romeo and Juliet. Two lovers, that shouldn't be fighting to keep their lives and those of their loved ones safe up until The Final Debt!!

Ms. Winters took a modern tale of enemies to lovers, and entwined it with historical fiction to make it a classic tale that will forever live in your heart right along with Jet and Nila.

It's amazing how the author has wrapped up every plot, and character's story, with still so many twists and turns that the reader won't see coming.

Pepper takes us from the very beginning to where it all started, from the first diamond all the way back to the present. There are POV's that we've been dying to hear from, that still leave us wanting more.

There is so many emotions in this book. Bring your Kleenex, heart pills, and a punching bag. It's a crazy rollercoaster ride.
I'm still emotional and needing my tissues as I write this review. It's like saying goodbye to apart of your own soul as this series concludes.
Who will live and who will die, when it comes down to the Final Debt??

This series is a definite must read. If you want a love story, that will stick with you for ages to come, and character's that are unforgettable, this is for you.

This book gives you everything you have hoped, waited and asked for.
Justice is made, closure concluded and love united.

I honestly cannot find another more talented writer that has the better plots and plans for their books.
Jethro and Nila became the reaper to terminate the curse that carried out for six hundred years. We are the witness to that and I am glad I am a part of it.
Even the not too small loss throughout the final victory was a part of this well planned love story that gave you peace and hope abt tough lives and hardship.

I fell in love with Pepper fm Q and now I am crazy madly in love with her talents and her beautiful heart.
I cannot wait for her next book to come so I can support her more !

Genre: Dark Erotic Romance
Type: Last book 6 of 6 on the Indebted Series
POV: First Person – Dual (shifting)

Final Debt is the last installment of this captivating series. I wasn’t sure what to except going into this but what I read defiantly exceeded my expectation. This book, just WOW was absolutely amazing packed with suspense, action, and love yes sweet love. All the secrets finally came out and so many things happened I was a complete anxious mess. My anxiety levels were high up in the sky with all the events and boy did we get an unforgettable finale?! Oh YES we do. It was completely worth the wait and heart break we endured during the series. I am so sad this series has come to an ending but also because there was one part on this book that completely utterly broke me for life. I don’t know that it had to happen but it made this book so much memorable defiantly something I would never forget and cry all my life over it.

This book picks up right where book five ended; the beginning was so depressing I desperately wanted, needed salvation a miracle or something. Nila Weaver was taken from London by Cut and Daniel to Africa; she was alone and had no hope in surviving this madness. However; she wasn’t giving up this fight so easily. No matter how much torture she endured she continue to fight because love and hope was much stronger than death. Nila was so much stronger on this book; she was a totally stronger from the previews books; I adore her for it. She had grown so much from the beginning and made this book an epic story with her amazing survivor actions.

“I was alive. I was dead. I was reborn.” Nila

Jethro Hawk was under a time bomb; he thought he had time to save his love ones. He had a plan but time was always against him. He was desperate trying to save the love of his life and his brother and sister from his evil family. The extend of what he went through to rescue Nila and saved his family gutted me. My man got hurt, injured, flew countries to try to save her and at omg the anxieties were so high I was biting my nails the entire time. My heart was in my throat I was a mess.

“I would breathe, but I would die….My heart would split open…I knew what hell was.” Jethro

He finally finds Nila and they had amazing heated moments I was trying to enjoy it but at the same time I was freaking out like watching a scary movie where the monster is coming right behind them and if they don’t run fast enough they will die?! Yeah I felt like that the entire time. It was a total roller coaster ride. However; in the midst of it all they managed to keep their hopes and love alive.

“I kissed her. The instant my lips touched hers, it was if a nuclear explosion mushroomed inside her.” Jethro

You do not want to miss out on this EPIC finale. The author manages to suck you into this book from beginning to end. This book is an endless roller coaster ride that will have you on the edge of your seat cheering for your favorite team Nila and Jethro. So many things happened I cannot tell you enough how much I loved this final book. It was the best; it had everything we have been wanting from the beginning of the series and you will not be disappointing the way the author managed to put this finally together. Final Debt was a complete stunning ending and it will forever stay in my heart, it sealed the ending of the Debt Inheritance series and it was the best.

“We each had our craters and defects from war. But we would wear them with pride.” Nila

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this final book to the Indebted Series. I remember since I read the first one feeling so drawn into this dark twisted world. I couldn’t comprehend completely why. I don’t usually read a series that follows the same characters, because sometimes it tends to get boring or everything the writer divided on certain books, could’ve had been told in just one book. So I was a bit reluctant to read this. But oh man, this has been one of the best emotional rides of my life. And my god, this book was looong, but I didn’t mind it.

And how I cried a river with this one…

Jethro Hawk, our dearest sexy Hawk was abso-freaking-lutely possessive man. Jethro is this big scary guy that you don’t want to mess with him, because I’ll assure you if you do you will be sleeping with an open. He still scary and possessive as we have seen, and still making Nila his territory, his world. I don’t think his condition make him less desirable, manly or strong. I think that makes him more powerful, because he leans on that to make every day better than the last one. Not wasting time, going for it. Risking it all for the love of his life. Literally. In Final Debt, I think Jehtro was the key piece to the story. I think without Jethro nothing could have been possible, but, at the same time, he alone, couldn’t have done it.

That’s why we should give props to Pepper and her little details. Every person that appeared in the book took an important task, since the Hawks, the Weavers, Jethro’s resources, to the workers and every other person. You may ignore this while reading, but when you sitting, (as I am right now processing this), you notice that each one of them gave us a different feeling. And I always have though this special characteristic of Pepper. She makes us feel what we are reading; not every feeling would be welcome and pleasant but it gives the story more credibility.

Nila Weaver, our non stoppable fighter. I don’t know if other persons think this way, but, I think Nila slayed this book. She was fierce, she was strong, she was determined and she was stubborn. I don’t think I would be alive and fighting; with all of what Nila has been through, the way she portraits herself in this book, is just beautiful. Even when she is afraid and losing hope, she doesn’t let the other Hawks determine who she is as a person. Nila would always be one of my, or even my favorite female lead on books. The simple fact that, she accepts and loves Jethro, even though he wasn’t a charming prince and he hurt her, it’s wonderful. That’s what’s love about.

They suffered a lot; they endured a great amount of pain. Physically and mentally.
Final Debt was the perfect end to this series. I know not everything could be rose and good, because with the evil people we have come to know, Boonie, Daniel, Cut… so many people trying to interfere and control others people’s lives; perverted minds trying to justify their actions, on behalf of their ancestors. But no, you can’t. They are so sick I’m sure everyone wants them dead. But the ending was this hell of a rush through my mind. I was laughing and cheering inside, but I also got mad and even cried. You will discover secrets, you will find explanations to certain things, you will see how everything goes down… I specially love and hated a moment between Jethro and Cut. I swear it was so difficult to read and so sad I almost couldn’t handle it. I still in denial with one the lives that were lost on this bloody rampage of freedom vs. vengeance.

But overall it has become one of my favorite series. Their characters are so complex, that I can’t describe them in five sentences. To reach this final debt, they passed a lot of things, now they have a lot of history between them. But I’m sure that everybody who will read this would not want to finish it. I swear if someone would take this entire journey of Jehtro and Nila and took it to the next level on the big screen or in a series it would be freaking awesome; because while I was reading Final Debt I literally thought that I was watching some kind of expert action-dark-romance movie. You don't know the fate of Jethro and Nila until the very end. You don't expect that to happen. It's a book full of surprises, and a lot of tension, secrets, and unexpected things. It’s a bittersweet ending. But I loved every page of it.

The end is here. That's one of those things that I knew even though it was coming, I wasn't prepared for. Let me start by saying that I am a major fan of Pepper Winters. I have been since I first read Tears for Tess. I knew that when she first announced she was doing a multi book storyline about a woman named Nila and a man named Jethro that I was going to be in for a rollercoaster of emotions. Let me say she did not disappoint.

We are at the end and all I can say is that it's everything I wanted and possibly more. It is impossible for me to say what happens in this book without spoiling it for anyone and I refuse to spoil it. So let me do my best.

After Fourth Debt we saw that Jethro and Nila had made plans. Those plans were abrubly changed without Jehtro being able to put their plan into action. This book takes us on the rest of the journey. The journey that is Nila standing as tall and as strong as she possibly can. You watch this woman fight tooth and nail not just for a man that she loves with every fiber of her being, litteraly for her own life. One wrong step, one poorly timed decision and there will be no more Nila. To watch her know what her gate is and to try to change it. To try and save herself, Jethro, Vaughn and her father, it is astounding.

Then we have Jethro. Jethro is a man who has tried his hardest to be everything his father wanted in a son. He tried to be the perfect son, the perfect brother and the perfect business man. But he is not perfect. No one is. Jethro has flaws, and even a condition that makes him feel more. In this book we find him try his best to capture those emotions. Not to bottle them up, but to use them to his advantage. As Nila is fighting for her life, Jethro fights for his own. He's fighting to keep himself and Nila alive. He has finally found the love he never thought he was worthy of and he will fight to keep what he deserves.

By the end of this book you will find out the fates all the characters you love and hate.

This book will have you screaming at the pages in anger, in fear, in love, in pain and just because it's over. Never have I been so thoroughly exhausted from reading a book. It's not my eyes that were tired but my soul. Pepper has out done herself. This is by far one of the best books I will read this year.

If you want to have an experience read this series. Just be prepared for...well you can be prepared.

OMG what a dramatic ending to this amazing intense book series. Nila's time has come to pay the final debt. This book answers so many questions and keeps you on the edge of your seat right to the very end. I love that it is multiple POV pretty much everyone has one. Incredible ending to a fantastic series. I can't give anything away, just read it.

Family of this author must be leaving reviews for the series, because this book is a huge disappointment. It drags on and the writing and dialogue is terrible. Talk about morbid and disturbing. I had to skip pages when I couldn't bear it anymore, especially when the story became too confusing and didn't make any sense. This book made me look back at other books I've given one star and think about boosting them up to two or three. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. It's a let down compared to the other books out there. And excuse me for saying this, but charging extra for epilogue? Sounds greedy.
