The story of a young woman who loses her job, her mother and everything she thought was real and finds out Magic is real and she is destined to be mated to the gorgeous Dragon King. Not too shabby. Oh evil wolves are trying to kidnap her for her powers.

I was given this book to review and give a honest opinion. I loved the story about Abigail and the dragon king finding each other. The story had an abrupt ending and was more about Abigail. The story kept you engaged with the characters.

My first time reading Miranda Bailey and I look forward to more from her. Action oriented, story plot driven and romantic, Wruin is the story of a dragon who is looking for his mate. Magic, mysteries and evil only add to the drama that unfolds.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book because I had never read a book about dragons, but I liked it a lot. I liked how it had other mythical creatures as well. This can be read as a standalone, but I can't wait to read the next book.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The storyline was interesting, though I (personally) would have liked it to hear a bit more about Wruin and Abigail's romance. I realize that would have lengthened the book, perhaps substantially, but they seemed like a cute couple.

In regards to grammar, there were several typos (for example, instead of 'be' it would say 'by'). Granted, those are small things, but when they happen often enough to be noticeable, it can get annoying.

I recieved this as an arc book.

If you love Dragons and a happy ever after this one is for you. It has danger a little mystery, love and a touch of magic.

It kind of reminds me of Anne McCaffrey Dragon Riders series.

The start of a new world. I can not wait for the rest of the series.

This was a really good read. The author did a great job of explaining what's going on and describing the characters and the setting of the story. A book where you can't put it down. Can't wait for more.

Wruin is the first book in the Brothers of the Dark Places series. It is also the first book by Miranda Bailey that I have read so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a different take on the typical shifter and Fae storyline. This is a standalone without a cliffhanger. Though the story continues in future books.

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all info here. The author did a good job of explaining what is going on and describing the characters and the setting of the story. I received a copy of this book from the author and chose to leave a review for other readers.

This is an ARC that I voluntary read to doi a review. This book is about Wruin that is a dragon. Abigail was a child at the beginning and could see him. She talked to him and said she was running away from the child's father that she was pregnant. Abigail was grown up and her Mother was during. She told her to find Wruin and he would help her and to stay away from her Father. She left with her friend and went to where her mother was raised. She found out her father was a werewolf and he was trying to get her away from Wruin so they went into the water where she opened the door to the otherworld
