I read Justin Halpern's first book and enjoyed his writing style and of course the interactions with his dad. I wanted to see how he would follow that hilarious first book. Was not disappointed! Great little book to read during a beach vacation.

I haven't read the 'S*** my father says' book but found this one very funny. He has such a honest way of writing. His father is certainly not the usual run of the mill dad for sure, but makes for extremely entertaining reading.

My wife has been feverishly trying to finish the Twilight series to reach some self-imposed "quota" for the year. This book made me laugh out loud enough to annoy her while she was reading. Double victory, in my book.

I enjoyed this book-not as much as the first one, "Shit my Dad Says," but it was still fun. I found I was again laughing out loud at the father-he is still my favorite (character?) person in the books. Great for a quick, fun read on the plane. Go for it!

The humor is consistent from Sh*t My Dad Says, presented in quick story format with the same funny writing style. Quickly read, but fans of the first book will enjoy the wisdom of Halpern's father, just as much as Justin Halpern's unfortunate life.

I loved this book. I haven't read his first one yet (S*** My Dad Says) but it's on my list to read next. Justin is a fantastic author and this book made my litterally, laugh out loud....in public, no less. Definitely worth the read.

I was drawn into the book right away. It tells the funny stories of his life and growing up with his family and friends. It makes for a good laugh and I could relate to him well. I would only ask that it was longer maybe, a sequel!

The sample was better than the book as a whole. While his writing is descriptive, and allows for the reader to het a good grasp on the people and situations he's writing about, I wasn't blown away. It was an o.k. book; I would t read it again, but I wouldn't persuade someone else not to read it either. It was ok for what it was, a quick book that brought some smiles.

I couldn't put this book down. I started reading it while waiting for a plane and I'm pretty sure my laughter alerted the fellow passengers, which also continued on the plane. I can't wait to read more from Justin. Well done!

I automatically connected with the author. His father is such a joy to read about and reading about the life of a boy growing into a man was nonetheless interesting and entertaining!! Definitely a must read!

I laughed so hard tears were streaming down my face! (The kind of laughter that makes everyone laugh at you and they don't even get the joke). Justin Halpern touches that part of you that has been anxious, tense, or embarrassed about a similar situation, then releases that tension with a witty observation that diffuses all the stress and makes you laugh out loud. My husband was sleeping, I wanted a light read, and I quickly realized I had to leave the room to finish the book because I was laughing so hard. Justin, thank you so much for another winner!
