Going home feels so good. That is what reading these Fool's Gold books feels like to me. All of these characters make you feel like you have known them your whole life. I wasn't initially as interested in Noelle's story but really wanted to know about Gabriel's from the first time he was mentioned. Was a little disappointed at first to see that they would be sharing a story. I LOVED their story. I don't know of anyone that can't relate to having someone in their life that sees life differently than they do. Reading about the struggles that both characters went through in the past and present to bring them together made for a very fast read. A Christmas feel good kind of book that brings 2 very different types of people together and brings love to them both.

I love Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series. If you love fun romances set in small towns you will love this series. Noelle has been in town less than a year and she has opened up a Christmas store, The Christmas Attic where you can find everything Christmas year round. Gabriel is in town to visit his twin brothers family and decide if he wants to stay in the army. Gabriel starts to work at Noelle's store to avoid his family (his parents are also in town). Gabriel and Noelle have great chemistry from the start. This was a great read any time of the year. I could not put it down. I cannot wait for the next Fool's Gold book!

Who can resist visiting Fool's Gold and at Christmas time at that? This sweet read brings us the romance between Noelle and Gabriel. Christmas festivities, weddings and more fun is included in their story. We learn a lot about the couple and what makes them tick. Watching their romance blossom was a nice read. I also loved seeing how the characters come together and support each other.

I enjoyed this book and returning to visit some of my favorite characters. This is a light and fun read. If you follow the series this is a must read.

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I'll be honest I have tried to review this book for almost two years. I enjoyed it. I have fond memories of it. For some reason I cannot find many words to talk about it. I've had a falling out of love with Fool's Gold a little bit over the past few months. They are starting to sound a bit tired. This one was of my first Fool's Gold reads and I really enjoyed it. There was a tortured hero and a nice girl running the local Christmas store. It was cute and fun and a great Christmas read. [3 Stars]

Another great book set in the small town we'd all like to live in....Fool's Gold. This was another winner and an easy 5 star review. A great story about a soldier, Gabriel and the woman, Noelle (great names for a Christmas book) who helps him heal. Top it off in the town we all love to visit and you have a winner. I love that we get to revisit characters from past books. I love that we watch the town grow and I like that we get a glimpse into future stories that will no doubt take place in this town. This was another lovely story without kidnapping or threat high drama -- so for me it was a great escape into a white Christmas in small town America.

While I have enjoyed the other Fool's Gold books, this was not my favorite. Part way through, I considered giving up. Some parts just didn't sit well with me....SPOILERS HERE (the tree search, the whole cabin scenario, learning about Noelle's illness so late in the book but only for a few pages, Gabriel's solution when learning about Noelle's illness). END SPOILERS

The story is predictable. Yes, romances tend to be. As another reader wrote: "...formulaic relationships in these books. Girl wants to get married and meets hot guy with committment issues. Hooks up anyway. Guy freaks out and leaves girl broken hearted. Que the friends coming over. Guy realizes he's an idiot and runs back to beg forgiveness."

Susan Mallery has done it again. I don't think I will ever be disappointed when visiting Fool's Gold. This story of Noelle and Gabriel was enchanting. I was touched by the sentimentality some of the customers showed as they shopped at the Christmas Attic, found humor in some of the encounters between Noelle and Gabriel and frustration with Gabriel when he wouldn't face the truth and run away from the best thing right before him. The ending was the most romantic moment I have read in a long time and brought tears to my eyes. I highly recommend this book as well as the previous books in the series.

When Noelle first meets Gabriel the circumstance are far from ideal. When he convinces her to hire him to work in her Christmas Shop a friendship of necessity is developed.

What grows between them is more than they want to admit, but it is a relationship that has no future. Gabriel will be leaving in a few weeks and giving your heart short term will definitely get it broken!

There are wonderfully developed, unique characters that come alive in your mind. The story is well written, will pull you along and has many surprises.

A wonderful holiday romance to warm your heart!

Noelle Perkins and her shop are in Fool's Gold for their first winter, too bad the snow seems to have it out for her, or maybe it is just giving her a helping had in way for Gabriel to be in her space. Noelle has overcome a lot in life and she is ready to see the goodness in everything around her(Fool's Gold was the best place for her to end up) and Gabriel needs to open his eyes to the goodness and happiness around him. Noelle and Gabriel seem to be opposite in so many ways but they make it work in the end. Look for dresses and happiness to shine through in Susan Mallery's new book 'Christmas on 4th Street'.

Christmas on 4th Street by Susan Mallery is a delightful, charming winter love story. Set in the Northern CA town of Fools Gold, we meet Noelle Perkins owner of a Christmas themed store and Gabriel Boylan an army doctor. Gabriel has avoided all forms of civilian connections the last few years, but is forced by medical leave to spend the holidays with his family for the first time in years. Noelle is starting over in Fools Gold and embraces everything that the holidays has to offer. Will the magic that is the holiday season help these two find each other and find love? This is a great read, if you are looking for love, Christmas and a great story.

I have read all of the Fool's Gold books to date and I always feel like I'm coming home when I read them. Love Noelle who is so strong and has overcome so much. Gabriel is such a great guy but doesn't think he deserves love. That he will never be what Noelle is looking for. She was strong enough to say what she deserved. Even if it broke her heart, she knew life was too short and that she wanted to be loved like she deserved to be loved. Always heartwarming to me that all the ladies in Fools Gold show up at the door of the person that most needs them to surround them with support (and alcohol)! We should all hope to have friends like that in our lives.

I won't summarize the story since that has been done countless times. What I will say is I found this to be a cute, light read although it was a bit predictable. This is part of a series and there are a lot of interconnected characters and references to characters from previous books. While I think you could start with this book and still enjoy it, you will understand more of what is going on if you read some of the others in the series.

Overall I would recommend, but don't expect it to be the best book in the series.

What could be better than falling in love a Christmastime? Falling in love at Christmastime in Fool's Gold! When Noelle meets Army doctor Gabriel Boylan, her hearts start to beat a little faster. Although Gabriel doesn't mind having fun, the long haul is not in game plan. Being a trauma doctor for soldiers brings home how quickly things can end. He doesn't want to go through that kind of pain. Noelle has been on the brink of the disaster but she sees it the other way. Life is short you must grab happiness when you can and never let go. Can they reach common ground before it is too late?
Like all the other Fool's Gold books, I felt like I was visiting friends and family. The characters are heartwarming and funny. I really enjoyed this book!

Christmas on 4th Street might be my favorite Fool's Gold installment of the year, starting with the Christmas names, Gabriel and Noelle which I found to be very creative! I love unique small town shops and would love to see Noelle's in real life so I found living vicariously through the story to be tremendous fun. It was great to be able to see new favorites (whom I'll leave for you to discover) and meet new characters. The dynamics of Gideon and Gabriel's family seemed real and relatable. I even enjoyed that while it is a quintessential romance that the rising action and resolution seemed fresh and new. Over all, I found this to be an excellent read!

This is great book for the holidays, anytime of year, it shows how love can change a person and bring happiness. One of the principals was a doctor at a MASH is Iraq and Afghanistan. He needs to move forward from seeing the horrors of soldiers hurt in war. The girl helps me move forward but not without great work and a little help from kittens. This book would be great to read while you are snow bound. The spirit is the important thing and enjoying the book. You will.

It's surprising how an author can get away with basically writing the same story over and over again. It's done in all genres. So I can't fault Susan Mallory for having a good audience while basically rewriting the story each time. Hey, I've been a #1 Edgar Rice Burroughs fan for much of my life although there's a marked sameness in his books. So there's nothing wrong with gals enjoying formulaic romances. Just be warned before hand.

I love Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold Series! Grab a cup of hot cocoa and read Christmas on 4th Street! This latest installment in the Fool's Gold series brings together two strong characters, Noelle and Gabriel, as well as visits from the familiar cast of folks from Fool's Gold. It was good to learn more about Noelle, I loved her strength, her attitude and her witty responses, and how Gabriel responded to her. I can never put down a Susan Mallery book. As usual, I finished this one within 24 hours! Love the happy endings. Wished for an epilogue at the end!

I love this time of year, because of all the great Christmas books coming out. Susan's Christmas on 4th Street was a perfect story. I loved Noelle's little shop and how she and Gabriel came together. Their chemistry was amazing! Susan always weaves the other characters into her books and I love how you can expect them to be there for the main characters. Mayor Marsha always pops up and "helps" things along. I love the dialogue between Noelle and Gabriel, and my favorite part was when they were snowed in and the cats! To cute! Fool's Gold is just one of those places you want to live! I highly recommend this perfectly, lovely Christmas story!

Christmas spirit is all throughout this book! I understand why some say the story was rushed... but it was still amazing! I have been suggesting that all my family and friends read this book! Noelle meet Gabriel in such a "fate" kind of way! I loved every moment of this book! Certainly made me get into the holiday spirit. Another thing I love about Susan Mallery's books is the fact she brings past characters back some how in her books! I am super excited to see what else she has in store for this town. It seems like Fool's Gold is the birthplace of true love!

Susan Mallery's Christmas on 4th Street is a wonderful addition to the Fool's Gold series. Noelle and Gabriel's story is in a word - Perfect. I laughed, I cried, I commiserated and absolutely loved the book. I got hooked on the first page and could not put it down. I have read the entire series so far and think that although each book can stand on its own, the series is wonderful, so full of life, with people I would like to know personally and set in a town that is nearly perfect. I can not wait for the next Fool's Gold book to come out.

Every season in Fool's Gold is special and this book conditions the tradition. I can enjoy meeting old friends and make new friends without leaving the house.

I had wondered who was waiting for Noelle but this was a total surprise. Who knew Gideon had a brother. Gabriel is perfect for Noellle, although it takes a while for him to realize it. Their trials and travails as they navigate the path of love is fun and heartwarming and at times sad. Of course, as in all good romance novels from Susan Mallery, love triumphs and it is indeed a Merry Christmas.

Who is up next?

Nobody does holiday romances quite like the authors from Harlequin. This was my first read from Susan Mallery and I loved it! I absolutely adored Noelle and Gabriel's story about taking a second chance on love. And I have to say that while Felicia was one of the secondary characters with brief appearances here and there, I loved her as well! This book was beautifully written with moments that were heartfelt and others that made me laugh out loud.

What a great way to lift your spirits and end a bad day on happy note. Noelle came to Fool's Gold recently as a new friend with a past she has kept private. Gideon's twin, Gabriel, was only briefly mentioned in a past book. The book details two wounded souls finding peace and passion together.
Although some other reviews mention disappointment with this latest addition to Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series, I disagree. The book is a story that contains all the elements for an enjoyable read- characters with some depth with whom you enjoy spending time, glimpses of old friends and their lives, and a happy ending.

Susan Mallery did it again! This was a great Christmas story full of love, laughter and family. There was the usual guy not sure of his feelings, but all in all a great read. It brought tears to my eyes at the end.
Also, just how does Mayor Marsha do it? She seems to know everything.
Ready for the next one.

Christmas on 4th street by Susan Mallery is the latest book in the fools's gold series. This book took me by surprise for I felt it was a step up from the last couple of fool's gold books. I had enjoyed the recent installments but this one, Christmas on 4th street had me hooked from the beginning and was hard to put down. I finished it in less than 2 days. The main characters have just enough going on in their lives to make it interesting but not bogged down with to many side stories. I definitely recommend this book to any Susan Mallery fan and for those who are not past readers of Mallery's , this is a good read to check her out.

I'm only at the 3% mark so far and already I feel bombarded with a sexist cliche that romance novels can't seem to live without. At this point it's the "incompetent heroine:" She can't walk , she can't drive, and she can't even maintain consciousness effectively. I'd like to read a romance novel that doesn't have completely incompetent females in it. I'll keep reading but I'm 100% sure the hero will be able to walk and drive and maintain consciousness effortlessly.

I love holiday stories and this one doesn't disappoint. It's a great little story that introduces a new character and keeps a lot of the old favorites going. That's one of the things I like most about this series. I could read it as a stand alone, but it is so much better knowing the history of things, such as the meaning behind the elephant in the Christmas parade. I appreciate how Susan is able to create a new dynamic that brings these characters together so you never feel like you are reading the same old story. Looking forward to rereading it again before Christmas!

I am a big fan of the Fools Gold Series that Susan Mallery writes. I really enjoyed this visit to Fools Gold and catching up with everyone there. The way Susan writes makes you feel like you are a part of this community and that the characters are your friends and neighbors.

I just love the story of Noelle and Gabriel. Noelle is a sweet person who has been thru a lot. She keeps it all hidden till Gabriel comes along. Gabriel has come home to heal and Noelle helps him work thru his past. They are perfect for each other. Add in the holiday fun and a cat with kittens and you have a really good story. It was so nice to see all the folks from Fools Gold again. This book will make you laugh, cry and even read faster because of some of the scenes. It is great how all the women in the town support each other thru their ups and down.

This is a great holiday story. When I got this book, I could not put it down. I was just going to read a little and the next thing I knew I was done. I am really looking forward to more stories from Fools Gold. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

First Thought when Finished: Christmas on 4th Street reminded me why there is no Christmas like a Fool’s Gold Christmas!

What I Loved about Christmas on 4th Street: I loved that we kind of got two romances (or at least the budding of another one), Christmas the way only Fool’s Gold can do it, and glimpses of most of the couples from the series up to this point. It really was lovely.

I Love Fools Gold & I love Christmas! The cover of this book is beautiful. I would have picked up this book even if I didn't already know & love Susan Mallery's books. Noelle & Gabriel have their ups and downs of course, but love wins in the end. (I want to go to one of the ladies support parties!) This is my kind of town. I love catching up with everybody. If you haven't read Susan Mallery, Fool's Gold is a great place to start. You don't have to read the entire series to enjoy one book (but why not read them all!)

First of all, the cover is absolutely beautiful with the sparkling snow. I loved looking at it! Noelle and Gabriel's story is another winner from Susan Mallery! I Really wish I could live in Fool's Gold. I just love the way the whole town rallies around when someone is hurt or needs help. I hate spoiling it for others but all I can say is that this is a wonderful story to put you in the mood for Christmas. Once I got started, I couldn't put it down. Thank you Susan for another great read. Please keep them coming!

Love going back to Fools Gold (It's like Home). Susan Mallery does a wonderful job of bringing back many of the old charters from previous books. We have met Noelle in previous stories and love how she developed, a very strong lady (she went through a lot) I love her outlook for life. I'm glad we finally got to meet Gideon's brother twin Gabriel. He has been through a lot, being an Army Trauma doctor and I can see why he chose the way he lives his life.
Great book and I'm looking forward to my next trip to Fools Gold.

I love reading Susan Mallery's books and Fools Gold is a heartwarming town full of great couples and interesting people. This book about Noelle and Gabriel was a warm entertaining story that kept me reading. It followed the theme of the other books this summer of a strong woman and a scared man on the run. I want to vote for more stories where the man knows his mind and goes after what he wants. We know Fools Gold is full of strong amazing women. I want more men that are looking for that in Mallery's books. This one doesn't match my desire for a man that comes looking for what he wants, but I stilled enjoyed it and would recommend it.

This is a book about second chances for Noelle & Gabriel. You find out why Noelle moves to Fool's Gold & what has
made her strong person she has become. Gabriel is an Army Doctor that is on leave & dealing with his own demons.
Noelle wants the love of her life & Gabriel isn't sure what he wants, especially not looking for love.
What i like about this series is how she keeps us in touch with the past characters. It is a shorter book than her other books but still worth reading.

"Christmas on 4th Street" is a delightful romance, perfect for holiday reading. Susan Mallery's characters, Noelle and Gabriel (can the names be any more Christmas-y?) are believable and ones with whom the reader can identify. A small word of caution: there are a couple of scenes, although well-written, were very suggestive. So if you are bothered by those type of scenes, consider skipping those couple of pages and keep reading. It's a sweet love story--one you will enjoy.

Fool's Gold Christmas on 4th Street brings the holidays home. Susan Mallery has once again brought the town of Fool's Gold to life.
Noelle is new to Fool's Gold and is opening a new store, The Christmas Attic. Her life becomes entwined with Gabriel an Army
doctor that worked on the front lines. Both Noelle and Gabriel have been through a lot in the past, but their present and future are still in the
works. Enjoy Fool's Gold for the feeling of family, warmth, festivals and love.

I love the tall dark and handsome twins, Gideon and Gabriel, and Noelle is such a great addition to Fool's Gold! Felicia's quirky , intellectual humor is always something I enjoy reading no matter the "star" of the book. Being a cat lover I was thoroughly enthralled with the snowbound cats. Susan always aims to please the animal lovers from elephants to felines! The book ended too quickly however and I kept turning the blank white pages at the end hoping I would find more!! Next book please!!!!!!

I love Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series. They all have a common theme, but it doesn't take away the pleasure you get reading each one. Christmas on 4th Street was great. It brought together two people who had had some very hard times in their lives and through the magic of Christmas healed their souls. I both laugh and cry when reading her books. Mayor Marsha seems to has a spiritual quality that enables her guide the residents of Fool's Gold to fine their true happiness.

Being Jewish, I generally don't purchase Christmas stories, however, I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a review. While I though it a little odd for a winter holiday book to be released in September, I found this story to be very enjoyable and in line with Susan Mallery's other Fool's Gold stories. While this book can be read by itself, you can read other books from the series to gain a better understanding of the other characters written about in the book. For those of you who do celebrate Christmas, this book could be a wonderful present for your friends.

Before coming to Fool's Gold, Noelle Perkins battled a serious health issue. She came out of it determined to live life to the fullest.

Dr. Gabriel Boylan's battle was more internal. After all he'd experienced as a trauma specialist in the Army, he's decided it's not worth it to love someone when they could be taken from you in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful story about how these two damaged people find each other during the holiday season in Fool's Gold.

Every time I visit Fool's Gold in a book, I enjoy my visit. Susan Mallery's newest novel Christmas on 4th Street is another wonderful story about the people in this magical town. Both Noelle and Gabriel are facing the world in a very different way and both have a back story that is interesting. I think it would be great to work for Noelle in her cute and wonderful shop. This gave me a new appreciation for doctors/soldiers. I think Susan Mallery has created a warm and wonderful book for the holiday! Can't wait for the next trip to Fool's Gold!

I loved Christmas on 4th Street. Although it started off kind of slow for me, it did pick up pretty quickly. The mystery of Noelle's background, hinted at in prior Fool's Gold stories, had me itching to read this one! Here is another cute and humorous Fool Gold read! I love this book, because its filled with romance, drama and shenanigans from those medding Fools Gold town people. Its about family relationships during the holdiay time and how Christmas spirit brings it together. Its Noelle's and Gabrielle's story and how their romance plays out. There is Mayor Marsha, who we meet often in the stories. I think she might be Fools Golds angel of match making. There is a snow storm when Noelle and Gabrielle are stranded in a cabin and they rescue two mama cats and a brood of kittens. There is drama with an avalance at a ski area. In the end they find what loving each other means with 2nd chances fullfilled.

We have gorgeous Noelle who is recovering from a monumental illness and a shallow ex-fiance. She finds a home in Fools Gold with a new business and new friends when along comes hunky Gabriel Boylan, Army MD , with a past of his own and a chip on his shoulder. This is such a sweet story and I loved every minute of reading it. I also loved the fact that we got to see some more of Felicia who is getting married to Gabriel's twin brother Gideon. I love Fool's Gold! I love to dive into each new book and visit my old "friends". I would love to have given this book 5 stars but I was a little disappointed in this book. Mostly because it was short and I felt like things were a little hurried.( especially the pivotal moment when he realizes he can't live without her). There wasn't that usual "something" that just grabbed me and made me "have" to read. Still, overall, a good read. Good characters that you feel like you could be friends with and quaint setting that makes you wish you really were there. Maybe I was just expecting more. Still a good read though. Just not my favorite.

Nothing brightens my day like reading a Fool's Gold Romance. Christmas on 4th Street tops my list of FG favorites. Noelle is an extremely likeable person who has overcome obstacles with her positive attitude and strength of character. Gabriel is Noelle's love interest and Gideon's brother. I got an early copy of this book in exchanged for a review.
While I liked Christmas on 4th Street, I didn't love it because I felt the love story was too rushed through in exchange for the background story of the town and the winding up of the first three books in the sub series of Fool Gold books. I wanted more about Noelle and Gabriel, if it has been a bit longer focusing on them, I may have liked it more.

Christmas on 4th Street was very enjoyable, I like the how this was set with two ordinary people, Noelle and Gabriel. Two different ways of life and love brings them together. If you are a Fool's Gold fan, you've been waiting awhile for Noelle's story. While, we finally learn her secrets in Christmas on 4th Street, they seem almost rushed. It was a good book and while I did enjoy reading it, the plot in general felt "fluffier" than the past Fool's Gold books. With any visit to Fool's Gold though, you will enjoy your time there and have fun catching up with all your favorite characters from past books.

This was a typical cute Fool's Gold story... Girl and guy meet, have a friendship/relationship, girl falls in love, guy gets scared. Guy leaves, girls friends arrive with drinks, guy realizes he screwed up, comes back and they all live happily ever after. I thought it was a nice follow up to the Fool's Gold cookbook. Personally, I can't wait for the full length novels to start up again next summer.

Love is in the air and the wounded hearts of Gabriel and Noelle are on the mend. This heartwarming story takes Gabriel, an Army doctor who has seen to much on the front lines, and Noelle, former lawyer whose illness caused her fiancé and her law firm to betray her. Noelle was a very strong character and I especially liked how stood her ground at the end of the story.

I loved Christmas on 4th Street. Although it started off kind of slow for me, it did pick up pretty quickly. The mystery of Noelle's background, hinted at in prior Fool's Gold stories, had me itching to read this one! I enjoyed the character chemistry and interaction and am always glad to see "old friends" and see how their stories/lives continue to take shape. It's an enjoyable read. Pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

Once again, Susan Mallery takes us away to a town we wish really existed! After finding out Gideon had a twin brother, we have waited for Gabriel's story. Who better to pair him up with than strong, independent but sweet Noelle. My only regret was that the story wasn't longer. I have enjoyed watching these four couples find love and would have liked more on the wedding. The book felt rushed. It's still a great read, I would highly recommend to all the Fool's Gold readers!

( I adore Felicia!) I was so happy to read Noelle's story. She has found a spot in my heart. Susan Mallery has a wonderful way of bringing warmth and humor and fun to her stories. You will love Christmas on 4th Street!Christmas on 4th Street (Fool's Gold Romance)

I love the Fool's Gold series! Every time I read one of these books, I want to pack my bags and move there! This latest book was no exception. I really liked the banter between Noelle and Gabriel. I liked seeing people from other books in the story. I liked that his parents were part of the story line. This was just another good book from a very talented author. I can't wait for the next book!

We get to meet the whole family and get updates on the lives of countless other Fool's Gold residents from earlier novels. This is a very nice story and one I would highly recommend.

If this book doesn't get you into the Christmas Spirit, then I don't know what will. There is nothing better than a holiday romance, especially one by Susan Mallery. I loved meeting and learning more about Noelle and Gabriel, and the situations that have brought them to Fool's Gold. As always, this town specializes in happy endings, and Noelle and Gabriel's story is no different!! Another winner in the Fool's Gold series!

Romance during the holiday season. What's not to love about that? Love Fool's Gold and love this next installment in the series. Noelle is a cute and sweet character and Gabriel is one hot guy with some issues of course. But with Noelle there to help him get through the holidays with his family and overcome his issues he learns to take a chance on love. Really sweet romance.

This Christmas story is heart warming and refreshing in todays world when not many things in life have a happy ending. Noelle gets more than anyone when she gets her love and a family. Love is the true meaning of Christmas! Wonderful book!

Opening this beautifully covered book is like opening a beautifully wrapped Christmas present. The unwrapped present is a lovely romance filled with humor, friendship, family, and, of course, the loveable buttinski towns folk. This is a story of healing, finding love and new beginnings. I have enjoyed every one of the Fools Gold series and I love Susan Mallery. She is fabulous.

This is the best Christmas book I have read in a long time. Noelle was strong and positive despite her troubles. Gabriel was struggling but still the Alpha male. I love that they figured it out stayed together. I love how it caught us up on so many fool's gold characters and ended this years books with everyone married. The reference to The a Blackberry island was fun.

I always enjoy my "trips" to Fool's Gold. That being said, I have to admit I had a hard time getting into this story at first (maybe it's because I was reading a Christmas romance in September). I plan to read it again in December when I'm more in the holiday spirit and would recommend that to others too. If you are a fan of the series, you will enjoy this book. Christmas in Fool's Gold, a sweet romance & a hardcover gift sized book? Um, yes please! In all honesty, I'm addicted to Fool's Gold. That being said, I had reservations about Gabriel. I love Gideon, but we've already got a super talented doctor (Simon) in F.G., did we really need another one? The short answer: we sure the heck did!

The big difference is that while Simon is a brilliant surgeon, Gabriel is the cool, under pressure Emergency doctor. I can't wait to see what else is going to happen in Fool's Gold next & you shouldn't either!

I love this series! I wish that I could live in a town like Fool's Gold. Noelle was smart and strong and she wasn't perfect so her story was a lot of fun to read, but what really drew me in was the town and all of the supporting characters. All of the characters in Ms. Mallery's books are well-developed and interesting and I look forward to reading about them in each book. This is another great addition to the Fool's Gold series. It's a sweet romance with an interesting hero & heroine. Being able to revist characters from previous books is also fun. A too-quick and convenient change in one character's attitude kept this from being a 5-star read for me, but that is the only real quibble I had. I am looking forward to Ms. Mallery's next book.

Another great book by Susan Mallery! I have been wanting to read Noelle's story. I have loved all of the Characters in the Fool's Gold books. Noelle and Gabrielle's story was no exception. Funny and charming book.

Another enjoyable read, couldn't put it down. Noelle has such a positive, optimistic outlook on life; she's the perfect match to Gabriel. Susan Mallery and Fool's Gold never disappoints. Too bad there isn't a "real" town like Fool's Gold, I'd move there in a hot minute.

Having read all the Fool's Gold books, I felt an instant connection to the town as well as the characters. I enjoyed the book but felt the ending was a bit rushed. Nevertheless, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

If you like a good romance mixed with the story of a small-town full of characters you would love to meet, then you've got to read this book. I loved the story of Noelle (yes, just a little play on Noel) and Gabriel. I also loved the story of Gabriel, his brother and his parents trying to reconnect - something that seems possible during the holidays.

Another cute story from Susan Mallery.Gabriel is a great guy but has a lot of family problems. Noelle is a sweet girl that we know and loved in the other books, but now get her own story with love and happiness.

Christmas has arrived in Fool's Gold. This is a good story. I love Noelle, took me a while to like Gabriel, he has a lot of issues he had to work through. Really good read. Can't wait for the next book to see who the character will be about.

I loved Christmas on 4th Street. It was nice to finally see Noelle find a good guy in Gabriel. I also liked that Noelle has made good friends and that through Gabriel she will get another family to love and Gabriel will finally be able to let go of his past and forgive his father for how he was treated.
