Sweet, beautiful, uplifting. Not usually my favorite words when it comes to romance, but that's part of why I loved it so much. A little too close to the women's fiction side for it to be a perfect 5 for my own tastes, but that's really the only mark against it. Lovely in every way.

This was a good story. It shows that anyone can change under the right circumstances. The love between Luke and Maddie were full of challenges but she finally saw that Luke was the best thing that ever happened to her. Looking forward to reading the next book.

The narrative by the story teller made this an interesting read.
There were a number of missed opportunities to develop more about the other sisters. The gratuitous profanity added absolutely nothing to the characters or the narrative. If anything they were an unnecessary distraction.

There was some action and forward movement, but there was too much time spent revealing the inner thoughts of several characters, while we know almost nothing about anyone else. The read is almost "too easy" The reader is led through the plot as if a child that can't imagine or figure things out from the cues in the text. "dumbed down" is how I'd describe this. I didn't finish the book because it was too "formula" and over explained every action.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The characters were described so well, you'd think you knew them personally. Loved the fact that everything falls into place for these people as they should be. It leaves you feeling good about reading it. My only negative would be that there should be a follow up book!

Homecoming Ranch was soooo much more than I expected!!! It held my interest, and I felt like I had met each of the colorful characters personally. I would have liked to see Luke and Maddie get married and live happily ever after on the ranch, but I know life isn't usually tied up in neat little packages...maybe there will be a sequel, or TWO !!! I see so much potential in this storyline...Good writing!!!

I loved this book, I could not put it down. Madeline is told that her absent father has died and left her a ranch and 2 sisters in Colorado. On arriving there she meets Luke who's family used to own the ranch, and he would like to own it again, Sparks fly when they become attracted. I would highly recommend this book.

I will have to give this a 3 star review. I purchased this book based on the reviews but I didn't feel it was worth 4-5 stars. I liked the characters, especially Luke. I like a sensitive family man. I was hoping for a different ending regarding the ranch but it was kind of predictable. I will try another Julie London again.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a quick read when I finally got to it. Homecoming Ranch was your normal romance novel but the author still managed to draw you in to what was happening and made me what to see what was going to happen or rather how it would.

In this book Madeline discovers her father has died and she has inherited a ranch along with two sisters. When she arrives in Colorado her is ready to sell the ranch and go back to Florida. There are many interesting twists and turns to the plot which lead to a happy ending.

Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. I loved how it told the story from more than one characters perspective. Luke fit the shoes of all my dream men put together, but somehow still remained realistic. I really rooted for Madeline to pull herself together and with every free chance to read I would dive in, hoping for that day to come.

The most delightful read I have had in a long time. The characters are all so different than what I expected and I enjoyed them all. The twists and turns made me feel like I was in the story with them. I highly recommend this book for everyone to enjoy.

I just couldn't get into this story. The tone of the book just didn't appeal to me - it was just too seemingly flip for me. And I didn't like the characters. It started with the father who was unlikeable and, for me, unbelievable with how he set up the premise of the book.

Very insightful and thoughtful book. Yes, it is a great love story but heartrending to get there. Leaves you thankful for the many blessings in your life. Makes you aware how important family is. Really great book. Well worth reading.

The author does a really good job of showing the reader the strengths and weaknesses of the characters. Madeline and Luke have a lot of baggage, but they finally work it out. I give it four stars. SHEILA HUNTINGTON, author of JADE.

Is there a way to get a list of the books I have read? If there is I sure would like to know how I could get it? I cannot think of getting any other electronic items from the store, if they do not give more information with the product.

Sexy, leading man. Heroine with flaws to spare. Your typical dime store romance. There were just enough moments of really good writing to keep me interested. The story didn't live up to its' potential.

I had the opportunity to have the book narrated to me. This gave me a whole new perspective of the book. The story was clean and fresh and I rather enjoyed this tale. Looking forward to complete the trilogy.

I really enjoyed this book. The romance between Luke a d Madeline was developed well. I found myself rooting for Luke. And despite Madeleine's issues, her character is still likeable . The story has a nice flow. Very entertaining.

Although I really like this author, this book was an okay story, but too predictable as to what was going to happen next. Also a lot of repeating some things to many times in this book as well as the follow up book.

If you're looking for a romantic story to escape from the everyday, this is a good one. I like the third person narrative interjected in the story, who is also part of the story. Without giving away too much, it has all the components of a good love story. I'm definitely going to read the sequel next.

Very satisfying read. Madeline suddenly comes into an unexpected inheritance from a surprising source. She travels from Orlando to Denver. It is only her location that changes but her entire attitude about life.

This was a very good book. I loved how parts were written from the eyes of an outsider; like telling a story. The main characters were awesome, I loved Leo, his color commentary throughout the book was great.

Really enjoyable story, told by many different characters. Brings three sisters together, one of whom never knew she was not an only child, though when you learn about their father, she was an only child.

Very engaging book, doesn't get too deep, but touches on how messy people's lives can get and almost derail a wonderful future. Most of the book is set in the mountainous Colorado and I could picture the beautiful scenery.

A great contemporary romance by Julia London. The hero and heroine were great. Leo was quite comical. Any book that has its characters Denver Bronco fans is okay in my book. Can't wait to read about Libby and Emma.

I really enjoyed this book. Of course the end was predictable, but that's why we read romantic novels, to get that happy ending. I thought all the characters were believable and people you could rally care about.

This is a sweet, albeit predictable love story set in the beautiful Colorado mountains. The changing narrative styles was not to my liking but then again we're not talking about Pulitzer Prize calibre literature here. It's a cozy book for bedtime reading or for a rainy afternoon.

It was a good read. The sex was a bit more explicate and the moral value was a bit lacking. I believe it would have made a better story with further explanation of the events toward a wedding and life on the ranch for children. I grew up on a farm so know the value of special places for children like the fort for Luke and Leo.

I only gave it a 3 star rating because Madeline drove me crazy. I really wanted to jump in the book and yell at her to shut up and take a chance and stop hurting Luke.
It was a good story. I love Luke and Leo.
Easy read.

Not really that good of a story. It was obvious where it would go and I thought the dialog was a bit contrived. Some of the peripheral characters were interesting, but I never really got to know them as they weren't all that well developed.

It was fun, easy to read, containing just the right amount of romance, happiness, family feuding and predictable ending. Those of us who like to balance romance and psychological thrillers may want to read the sequel.

From the first page, the vivid details and scenery the author paints fir the reader is breath-taking. You truly feel like you're there in Colorado and it makes you want to go there. The author ties two-stories together that come crashing together with a magnificent ending

The 'down home' love of family traditions when searching for heart's true love to share it all with, is something most of us look for; especially when we are young n life's disappointments are only just beginning...here is another happy ending, to which we all wish is our own someday!

Not my usual read and it took awhile for me to warm up to it BUT that being said, warm up I did! I love Leo, love his tenacity, and his sense of humor. The more I read the less I could bring myself to put it down.. A fun, warm, story.

A lighthearted and entertaining romance. No unexpected plot turns, but well described, almost believable characters. The disabled brother is the most interesting character in the book and his sense of humor and optimism give the book its warm feeling.

I downloaded this book for free on Kindle, even at that price it was a rip off. The book uses all the romantic clichés in the book, and then some. Save yourself the money, and just keep reading the same Nora Roberts book over and over, at least she is a decent writer.
