This book failed to impress. Maybe something is lost in translation. Characters bored me. Plot was predictable. Overall snorefest. I only gave it a two because it did manage to keep me from having to talk to the guy next to me on the plane.

Very good book for teens with the exception of the author's use of the f word, which was unnecessary. Also one wonders why the main character was not also included in the witness protection program. However, I greatly appreciated the strength of her character and how beneficial it is for young ones to identify with her.

What disliked was the ending, even though it was explained later I would have wanted to hear it after her escape how she ended up, how she got completely away. But I really enjoyed it. I couldn't put it down.

I started this book and seriously could not put it down. In two days I had read the complete 256 pages. Cover to cover. This is something you will definitely never forget. Five stars. Very, very, extremely good book (:

Interesting and uncomplicated. I felt the story failed to pass the credibility test. The main character simply escaped most difficult situations by the author writing a sentence or two with little explanation as to how it could happen. I would not compare this to The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo.
