Still enjoying this series and although some parts are predictable, I really like the way Crais takes us there. We are given a little bit of background on the main characters with each new story and it keeps me coming back for more.

A friend recommended Robert Crais to me and I have read his first three books.. Elvis Cole is a great character! Crais interjects a bit of humor in all of his books. Highly recommend this great read

I have been buying every book by Robert Crais since I read the first one. They are all spellbinding and so interesting that it is hard to put down to sleep. You just want to read just a little more, until the clock says enough!

I've decided I wanted to read Robert Crais' books in order. "Stalking the Angel" follows Crais' initial work, "The Monkey's Raincoat." It did not disappoint. Crais takes great care in developing his characters. Elvis Cole is both deep and witty, and then there's the mysterious Joe Pike. Crais' writing is remeniscent of some of the better American mystery writers. I'm looking forward to more of Elvis Cole.
