JD Robb never disappoints or ceases to amaze me with her awesome variety of drama, action and emotion in her books. She justs keep getting better and best! Wow! In this one I was crying, laughing and swearing along with Dallas, Rourke and Peabody as well as rooting for Nadine and Mavis. A definite 5 stars*****!

JD Robb scores another win. The characters are well developed, the story line is interesting, the scenes realistic and the love comes through. I don’t know how Nora Roberts continues to come up with believable, entertains stories, but she does and I am glad for it. Looking forward to the next one.

Leverage in death was a great read. I enjoyed the conferentation between Eve and her billionaire husband. The characters in the book are well developed and the interaction is exquisite. I highly recommend this book to everyone. The writing and my enjoyment of this book was better than most!! GMR

I have read every book in this series and enjoyed them all. I loved the comment made by August (the boy Eve saved) that “a ninja woman saved him”. It was so cool that Eve and Roarke watched the Oscars to support their friends, watch Mavis perform, and Nadine’s acceptance speech was amazing!

Had a great time trying to figure "who submit"' when I get my "in death" books I drag my feet starting them because once I start reading it I don`t want to quit and then I won`t see my friends again till the next one comes out......at my age 83 I don`t know if I`'ll still be here.....I have read ALL of the in death books, many of them twice.....thank you for this series.........I recommend them to everyone!!!!

Dallas catches a nasty bombing case right before the Oscars where Nadine is up for Best Screenplay. Great plot, terrific characters. I have no idea why this is not a TV series so I can watch Eve strut around in her magic coat and Peabody clomp around in her pink boots. Next one now!

These books get better and better. Perhaps it’s because of the characters who have formed a “family”. Each character grows more and more in your heart with each book. 47 BOOKS!
I am always amazed at the story lines and how original each one is...thank you JDROBB!(Nora)

She just keeps scenarios and plots rolling involving this wonderful family of characters!!
I read them all way too fast when they come out. Then the waiting begins for the next wonderful book.
J. D. Robin's In Death series is the only one that I buy both the e-book and hard back. In the little town of Homer Alaska
I have to wait til I drive the hour and a half to get to Kenai or Suldota to get the hardback. Yeah e-books for instant gratification on my kindle. Always worried each book will be the end of the series. Please keep them coming!! I just turned 65 so got at least another 30 years left to keep reading if I stay around as long as grandmother and mom!

Once again a thrilling and suspenseful story. I love the characters, and how we get to follow them. I really enjoyed the storyline. So many different aspects and paths to follow. It's fascinating how Dallas tracks her way thru the evidence, to create the trail to follow. As always, I can't wait for the next book.

Sometimes I can figure things out, but this time I had the plot but no way was I close on perpetrators. Loved weaving the Oscars throughout the book: Will Dallas make it or won't she? Great ending for all. As usual, it ended too soon. These books always seem to end before I'm ready. I get so caught up in the story that time just flies by. Happened this time as well. Thanks for another great read!!!

This series had me hooked from book 1 and continues to get better and better. The element of suspense, the twists and turns always has me on the edge of my seat. Dallas and Roarke are two of my favorite characters and I cannot wait till the next book comes out.

Dallas and the gang get together for another adventure. I love watching the love between Roarke and Eve grow stronger, the relationship become stronger. This story changed in that we had home grown terrorist inside of just murders. Thanks again for a great story.

Dallas back in action. Best part of this book is there was never a clue about who the baddies were. In many of the other Dallas books, by the second or third chapter the villain was obvious. Not in this one. A puzzling mystery from the start to the windup. Highly recommended!

This book was well written and a definite page turner. The characters are brought to life by the sheer intelligence of a great writer. Cannot wait for the next book to be published. Would highly recommend this book to everyone that enjoys a great murder mystery.

This book was and is fantastic. Took me a couple of days to finish it. But wow. I love how all characters came together. I was glued to eve solving this crime. Page after page I was locked on. I love that the ending was spaztactic. I absolutely recommend this book.

Another really good Eve Dallas book. I pre-ordered, as always, but waited till today to read it because I didn’t want any interruptions. Thank you for writing them and looking forward to the next Eve Dallas book in February which I have also pre-ordered.

As always, this book did not disappoint. I look forward to each new book in the series with great anticipation. The characters are alive, the dialogue is meaningful but not excessively wordy. The scenes are beautifully described. What's not to like.

Another hit! Perhaps a bit more complicated subject, but Robb makes you understand how it all works. Her characters continue to grow and show their strengths and quirks . She is a masterful storyteller, making us feel the emotions, love, anger and joy, of her characters. I'm going to anxiously await the next "in death".

Have every book once my daughter got me hooked. Know Ms. Robb may be wishing it was over but will always buy the next. Only wish we could move Dallas and Roark along in their life and see more of Mavis, Leonardo and Bella. Good job, Ms. Robb, thank you.

It was a well written mystery. Some of the subject matter was pretty intense and the book had a humorous back story. I enjoyed having most of the characters back. The end was a masterpiece! I struggled to put the book down, after all I do have to work. The only downside is that the book had to end.

As always Dallas and Roarke are wonderful characters that you see when you read. The cast of characters are not always complete but often make the rounds and always missed when not mentioned but loved the same. I love reading this series, love waiting for the next.

Per usual Robb takes you on a splendid bumpy ride. She always keeps the characters true to form and smart all the way from page one to end. I love Dallas and Clarke so much have read every book. And I'm between New books I started to reread. The best.

There were some parts I cried, some parts I laughed and then cried a little more in sentiment. Relationships are the theme of this novel. What would one do for family? What would one do for freinds? It was a great installment in the death series.

Another great story 18 dead. The killers are victims. A lot of personal time with Eve and friends. They are up for an Oscar. Roarke and Eve loving fighting trusting and working together. Dreams return. A neighbor in trouble. A great end.

The IN DEATH series is my guilty pleasure. I drop everything to read as soon as a new one is released.
Leverage in Death is a great police procedural combined with sci-fi and a touch of romance. You won't be able to put it down.

Book after book.......the story lines never get old. Love the characters and wish the books could come as fast as I read them. If you have not read the series, you need to start at the beginning. As always, I can't put the book down!!!!!!!

I always enjoy how Eve Dallas breaks apart a case. Yes, she has a great support staff, and having her husband's help at home and work doesn't hurt either. But it is her intellect and street smarts that breaks the criminals everytime.

Another page turner. The bad guys are without a conscience. Eve gets to be a "ninja woman" I was hoping that at the last minute Roarke would sweep Eve off to the Oscars. I wanted Eve to want to be there for Nadine and Mavis.

JD Robb has come up with another unexpected way & reason to commit murder. But for me, it is the people who make me come back time & again, reading each book multiple times. In this book, look for the touching exchange between Summerset & Eve. Also a favorite was the scene with a juiced up Peabody, department sanctioned of course! I can only hope these characters continue to grow & change. Would also like to know more about Eve's squad & Roarke's people.

Loved it , loved it! The right amount of suspense and mystery with the happy ending of the Oscars for the “ The Icove Agenda”!
The imagination and storytelling skills of the author is amazing.
Waiting patiently for Book 48!

Always enjoy J D Robb’s In Death series books. She writes her characters so realistic you think they are real people. Really like the continuing characters in the books. Grabbed your attention from the first paragraph.

She did it again.! Love the whole story. It was so good. I'm always so anxious to read the next IS Robb book and then I'm so engrossed in the story and characters I can't put it down and then it's over once again. Then I have to wait months for the next book. Congratulations!

I love every Eve Dallas book; this is no exception. Fewer 'love' scenes between her and Rouke; thank you, Ms. Robb. It's Oscar time and The Icove Agenda has been nominated. Not surprisingly, Eve has no interest.

I liked how Peabody just naturally took more initiative in conversations and interviews and it wasn't turned into a big deal. We get to know Trueheart a little better and see some development there as well. And it was as exciting as always.

This book was a disappointment. It so did not read of J.D. Robb/Nora Roberts but more of a ghost writer. Felt the $14 plus change it cost me was a waste of money. The only reason I finished the book, because that is my nature. I would not recommend this book.

As always, J.D. Robb writes a thrilling, cliff hanger story with romance, suspense, and mystery mixed in. I enjoy the relationships intertwined within the mystery while working through the different characters.

Fabulous series. Love the continuing development of her characters and timeline. I would recommend this series to everyone who enjoys a good mystery with or without the added element of the sprinkling of "future" techniques. I would live to see another book that focuses on Eve and Roarke.

Generally after beginning to read about characters in a series of books, I find the author has usually grown bored and/or hired a ghost writer to continue with the storyline. J. D. Robb has kept my attention for 47 books and will keep holding it for another 47 if she continues to grow her characters as she has with Eve, Roarke, Peabody, McNab, etc.... I even love Somerset! Leverage in Death continues a great story line and I didn't put it down until it was finished. Eve shines in this story, Roarke is hotter than ever, Peabody and McNab glow and Nadine is finally coming into her own. Thank you J. D. Robb for continuing to capture and hold the reader's attention and making us anticipate the next book. Maybe a baby for the Roarke household?? Some of your readers are getting up there in age and want to see how Eve handles motherhood.

Usually I love these books but this one seemed thrown together, except for her description of Peabody when she had too much caffeine and the department approved wake ups. LOL that was really good. I missed seeing it from the perspective of the criminal element in this one.

I like all things “Eve Dallas and Roark.” I enjoy catching up on what’s going on with all of the secondary characters and Eve’s single minded determination to solve her case always with Roarks assistance.

No matter how many books I’ve read these characters are my favorites. Nora (J.D. Robb) has developed them to the point they are real. The story lines just get better. It’s about time for another complete re-read of the series.

I love this series. All the characters are amazing. Sometimes I get ready eyed reading certain parts in all the books. I love all of the characters, but, of course, Dallas and Roarke are my favorites.
