I really enjoyed the reanimation of these characters. Even though they were the same they were also different considering what they have gone through and grown with. The adventure was just as exciting as before. The end has left me wanting more.

I enjoy the stories of the companions and always have. It's wonderful to have such great heroes continue on to new quests. I look forward to the next book as I'm left curious to see how the war of goddesses plays out with our heroes and the lives they've touched.

Reminds me of the reason I liked the books written by Salvatore years ago. I hope the rest of this series is as good. If you want the continuing tales of the Companions of the Hall this is the book for you. Not too serious, not pure fluff.
Book I (The Legend of Drizzt 17) - The Orc King :: Siege of Darkness: The Legend of Drizzt, Book 9 :: Book III (The Legend of Drizzt 19) - The Ghost King :: Neverwinter Saga, Book I (The Legend of Drizzt 20) :: Book II (The Legend of Drizzt 15) - The Hunter's Blades Trilogy

Amazingly fluent storylines perfectly intertwined. Salvatore has done it again, capturing emotion on a grand scale. I'm never dissatisfied with his ability to maintain numerous plots while seamlessly staying true to the main story.
