A very fast paced and energetically written novel. Not Eric's best but certainly entertaining and worth your time to read.
This should answer some questions about Jason Bourne and will certainly raise new ones.

Ludlam's Bourne series has been magnificantly captured and prolonged by Eric Van Lustbader, who writes as if he is challenging the master (and if truth be known, surpassing him) in action and imagination.

This is very well written, with lot of action & thrills for Ludlum fans. The story is well woven with love, emotions & tender feelings, apart from an action thriller which makes one read without break !
The Bourne Legacy (Jason Bourne Series Book 4) :: Dead Wrong (The Rho Agenda Inception Book 2) :: The Bourne Supremacy: Jason Bourne Book #2 :: Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Imperative (Jason Bourne series) :: The Bourne Ultimatum - The Bourne Supremacy

Writing was amateurish with no intrigue or surprises. Robert Ludlum would not have finished it or written it. Improbability of events and characters appearing like magic at the last second stretches ones imagination and the bond of author and reader is rendered too many times.

The latest Bourne thriller did not disappoint. Exciting, attention grabbing and well written, the latest Bourne thriller continued the excellence began by Robert Ludlum. A timely and provocative plot kept my attention and made it difficult to lay the book down. The timely plot built on a political as well as a drug cartel link between China and Mexico added to the lure of the story. And the ending was a bit of a surprise, welcome for the main character but not suspected until the end of the story. Great read, continues to build on a very popular character. Worth the time spent.

This was a fascinating book.It provided broad and interesting elements of intrigue, love, hatred, and an unusual discussion of Israeli Mossad activities as background to the plots and counterplots.Give this book an A plus for enjoyable and interesting reading.

I was looking forward to Bourne operating in foreign countries with more complicated plots. This book initially caught my attention because of his past adventures.. As the story continued, I found the characters uninteresting, poorly drawn and boring..

Book started off with a few too many descriptive details for me, but quickly got into the meat of the story. I am a fam of the Bourne series and wanted to see how Ludlums predisessor would do with the continuation of the series. I think I will continue to read his books.

The clever switch from parallel events in different countries and locations keeps your attention throughout. It also ensures continuous drama and forces you to read on being unable to resist the What happened next?

This is an excellent adventure story, replete with very good action scenes throughout the plot. The book has enough twists and turns to satisfy the most ardent spy/adventure enthusiast. One of the best is saved until the very end, and is a shocking surprise. The epilogue might have wrapped up a few of the characters a little more completely, however, this does not detract from the captivating readability of this book. It is one that shouldn't be missed.

I started reading these many years ago when Jason was part of Counselar (sp) Ops. I know in story time not many years have passed but in real time decades have passed since the readers were introduced to Jason Bourne. Still a good read.

Lustbader continues his seamless extension of the original Ludlum character. It's as if he has a psychic connection with the departed author. One would swear that Sir Robert is writing from the grave.
