I like the Lucia Davenport character. His actions, his thoughts, his money(lol), his detective skills; gosh what else could I say about him!
His looks, His funny way of looking at things, his sex life. I like the way the plot builds and then it peaks. Good detective!

I randomly picked up a Sandford novel a little over a year ago. Since that time I have read every book in his Virgil Flowers series. Now I'm hooked on the problem solving skills of Lucus Davenport. I highly recommend Sandford to readers who enjoy crime novels.
