I have loved all the Stone Barrington novels and this one did not let me down. Off and running from the very beginning and kept my interest until the end. I stayed up real late to finish it. Good read.

I thought that the book was poorly written. The dialogue was boring and the plot uninteresting. Unfortunately a lot of successful authors have been cranking out mediocre books after they have had success. I think it is a shame.

stone barrington is a wonderful character and the author makes him very believable and exciting. I enjoy going from book to book as this seems like an ongoing novel and I find it hard to wait for the next one.

Love all of Woods books. This one is especially good. Only negatives: Too short I read it in one day. The story takes up too much space explaining history which I guess is needed if this is the first book a new reader has.

Very good. It held my attention to the end. Light humor gets you over what would otherwise be a dry spot or two. I thought I had figured out whodunnit, but of course I was way off! I thoroughly enjoyed this.

I love, love, love Stone Barrington. Although he sleeps with anything that moves, I still love him. His friendship with Dino always amuses me. This was a great book, as are all of Stuart Woods books and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is one of Stuart Woods greatest books. The pace keeps you reading kind into the night. A must read by everyone who loves these types of books. I can't wait to read more of his work. He is an awesome story teller indeed.

This books does what it sets out to do - entertain. It's a light read with familiar characters. Stuart Woods readers know what to expect and this book continues down the Stone Barrington path as usual. It's formula writing but ok if what you want is more of the same. It's kind of like visiting an old friend - a bit long in the tooth but one you still love.

if you have been reading and enjoying stuart woods, like me, you'll like this part of the continuing saga of Stone & the Gang. One or two additional new characters appear to have come on board as a new repeating character with the other usual suspects A good read, but I dare say not for those who have not been acquainted with the genre.

Most of the Stone Barrington series are similar stories, there is a crime or problem, there are women, things go wrong, and it all works out in the end. I do not read these books, I use the audio versions, usually in the car, and I have enjoyed them all. Easy to follow, with great recurring charters.

How Woods continues to crank out one fun read after another is truly remarkable. It helps with Stone Barrington and Dino Bachetti as protagonists, but Woods has now moved his setting to Paris, making it even more fun.
