I thoroughly enjoyed this book by Burt Reynolds and found it fascinating to learn more about him and his life. I thought it was well-written and that it covered a lot of Burt's life and it seemed to be honestly portrayed. I recommend it.

I loved this booked. Easy read and very interesting. Mr Reynolds is a gentle and kind man and this book supports it. Not boring by any means. I've always loved Burt, so I am thrilled he wrote this book. If you are a fan it is a must read. If not, still a good book.

Great read. Written by someone who you know was there, and not just dropping names to sell a book. Most interesting to me was the care and reverence he took to talk about older actors. You always think of Burt as being flip and a me person, not true. He is telling interesting
And heart felt memories. Often hilarious and just enough substance, without being boring. I hope there is another book in the works. I'll bet there are many more great stories.

Enjoyed this book. I liked the way it was broken into sections by person and the way each person was woven into Burt's life and career. It reads as though Burt was in your living room telling you stories. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed reading this book. Burt knew a lot of people you wouldn't think he would be acquainted with, like Betty Davis.
His remarks on Loni are rather funny - a little rude- but funny. I would recommend this book.

I thought the book was well written, honest, and very informative. It gave a good picture of the real Burt. I so enjoyed reading about his
interactions and career with his peers and other people that helped shape his life. Very interesting and humorous in parts.I would highly recommend this book.

Loved the book. The honesty was refreshing. It was comical in some places and touching in others. I've always been a fan of Burt Reynolds and it was nice to take a stroll through those great movies one more time.

Not a tell-all autobiography just Burt reminiscing about people and events in his life, with chapters devoted to his long-time friends such as Johnny Carson and Clint Eastwood. He does reveal surprising personal details about his famous relationships, such as Sally Field not defending him when he was rumored to have AIDS and his doubts about marrying Loni Anderson. All in all a pretty good book but not for anyone hoping for a shocking, detailed tell-all.

Interesting as far as known names from Hollywood, but I felt that there was an attempt by him to justify or downplay the famous (infamous) events in his life as well as to deflect blame or responsibility. He does admit to mistakes and wishes to make amends to numerous people but shouldn't that be a private, personal thing as opposed to playing them out in a very public memoir?

Not just another autobiographical exercise in self-grandisment. Truly an enjoyable read. And not just because I grew up In the same place that Burt did , and attended the same high school, and knew many of the people mentioned. Unlike many celebrities , Burt offers a series of honest and humorous remembrances of a life he has enjoyed and one which she will continue to enjoy as long as it lasts . I would recommend this book to anyone who ever enjoyed any one of the pictures in which Burt starred . Thoroughly enjoyable.
