NFAF is probably being marketed wrong. If Tony wants to help the most unfortunate in society, he should hand out self-help tapes rather
than this book. Do not get me wrong, this book is excellent. However, going through the table of contents today, I know this book would not
have helped me even five years ago.

Tony has distilled and summarized his ideas in this book, but it is for someone who is at a high spiritual plane, so they can act on these
ideas; and really savor what he is teaching.

What I think is excellent are the questions (which I don't remember were in this book or another), which I advise you to do, as they will rapidly shift your state. The changing your belief
systems part is not that great, as the metaphor of the legs of a table will not help much.

Buy this book if you want to take your game to a whole new level.

Including the Introduction this book has less than 100 pages but the people who read it know that in this book it has been said a lot...more than somebody could say in 10.000 pages.
This book is a quick, simple guide to eliminate most if not all of your phobias, fears etc that were keeping you in "psychosis"
for years perhaps.
Tony, explores the whole meaning of his life to us in the Introduction of this book by confessing what happened one Thanksgiving Day long time ago when he was just a child belonging to a rather poor family. A simple knock on the door changed Tony's life forever and "maybe" that simple knock spurred him to become what he has become Today.
In all his books, particularly on this one since this one is the simpliest - Tony finds the way, rather easily,to all our superpowers sleeping somewhere deep in ourselves and with his "Loud Knocks" (Reminders) wakes them up one by one so we could once again begin to own and live our ecstatic thoughts again, so we could forever have the supercourage to remind ourself that "No problem is Permanent...and that this too shall pass" as Tony likes to say it all the time.
In this book you'll find stories about numerous "Stars" such as Billy Joel, Michael Jordan and so many other very Succesful people (just like we all are). They all share short but very lasting succesful stories and strategies that are MORE THAN EASY TO FOLLOW and yet could get us even higher than the "STARS" I have just mentioned above.
So,as we all have not that perfect memory to remember everything about how to lead our lives without stress and fears of dissapointments in life - GIVE THIS BOOK A GO so you'll definitely find something between these lines that will Remind you how Special and how Powerful YOU (we) really are.ENJOY!

Notes From A Friend is a interesting book. If you want to know more about Tony Robbins thoughts and techniques Notes From A Friend gives many of his popular ideas in a very compact format. If you are one of those people that likes a book that challenges you, asks you to exercises and change they way you think this is the book for you.
I found the book quite useful from a couple of different perspectives. Some of the changes that Notes From A Friend suggests are really small distinctions, but taken together they can have significant impact. One of the examples from Notes From A Friend are the questions that you ask yourself. Notes From A Friend suggest asking questions that lead to the solution of a problem rather then victim questions such as why did this happen to me. Another distinction is how we view failures. Failures will occur if we try anything useful. It is really our reaction to these failures and what we learn from them that matters.
Not content to Notes From A Friend just be an intriguing read Robbins challenges the reader with a ten day program that is a powerful application of the essence of the book. If you want to know more about Tony Robbins, his techniques and are not afriad a book that gives homework assignments I recommend this book.
and Happiness (Most are Five Minutes or Less) - 127 Small Changes to Improve Your Health :: Living the Wisdom of the Tao - Change Your Thoughts :: A Powerful One-Step Plan to Live and Finish Rich - The Automatic Millionaire :: Clockwork Boys (Clocktaur War Book 1) :: and Confidence with Everyday Courage - Transform your Life

I've read almost every book on personal finance that was considered relevant in the last 10 years. This book pulls together all the important take aways from a lot of those books. If you were to read one book only on personal finance ever this would be it. One critique it is one long advertisement for the RIA firm that he has a financial interest in and his son runs. That being said the advice was still spot on.

Notes From A Friend provides great lessons for achieving one's goals and to seek continuous improvement as well as taking charge of one's life. While it may not be as good Anthony Robbins' other books like Unlimited Power and Awaken The Giant Within, one will enjoy reading it especially for people who have less time to read or don't enjoy reading books with many pages very much.

Mr. Robbins has impressed us once again with this little but powerful book. Don't look at the size or simplicity of the book to mislead you. It is a highly intellectual book to read and follow at the same time.
Of course to extend your knowledge the next natural book to follow up with is "Awaken the Giant Within". I highly recommend both. I still have to read "Unlimited Power", but I am sure I will gain from that as well.
Thank You, Steve.

You'll enjoy this small book of creative strategies for effective living using Neuro Associative Conditioning.
Notes to a Friends will enlighten you.
I've given a few of these to some friends. So Tony if you feel inspired to send me one, I'd love it.
I really enjoyed the simplicity of this book for people who want to learn what Tony Robbins is all about in the world of charity, and human potential.

who would have thought such a small book would pack so much PUNCH! "Notes" inspires you when you feel the worst. Mr. Robbins has done a great job in packing alot of inspirational material in such a small package. Not quite a How To book, but has lots of "notes" to uplift your spirits and motivation.

This is the book for the person who is interested in Anthony Robbin's work but does not feel like reading one of his bigger and more compelling books yet. You will "get you feet wet" and after that, most likely, you will want to "take a plunge" into one of his more complete and exhaustive works.

I HATE self-help books, except for their humor potential... as in, making fun of them. This book was recommended to me by my brand new "friend"... my therapist. God, it feels funny to even utter the words "my therapist." I borrowed the book from the library last night, and started reading it at about 11:00 p.m. I literally could not put it down... and finished at about 12:30. Today, I'm ordering my own copy from the store, and I'm going to let everyone in my office borrow it too. I think that EVERYONE should be REQUIRED to read this book once in their lives... you don't have to buy into it, but you should at least read it. Thank you, Anthony Robbins.

I've read my share of books about motivation, how to change your life, etc... Nothing made total sense until I read this book. With this book, Tony is able to share his overwhelming knowledge of human behavior and how to "really" change your life. The book is very easy reading and keeps you interested with lots of analogies. Because of this book, I recently purchased Tony's "Personal Power II" program, and with the same philosophy, it's changing my life. Also, I'm buying 12 more copies of this book today so I can personally give one to each of my employees.

Although he bases some of his work on the philosophies of others, Tony Robbins is the best of the best, and this book is another outstanding contribution. Using Tony's programs, I have lost weight, learned to exercise and gained financially. I'm happier and a whole lot healthier than I used to be. I'm suspect of anyone who doesn't appreciate Robbins' work. They are probably just too lazy or fearful to make the big changes that can turn your life around. Happy reading!

If you are familiar with Anthony's books you know, that just reading isn't enough. I usually read his books again from time to time. Just to raise my knowledge and attention. In this book you can find a "summary" and "fundamentals" and its size call's you to keep it in your briefcase all the time. Because of that, this book is "must have"!

This book is fascinating. Anthony Robbins gives you information on how you can make wonderfull decisions for your life. He explains that it is your decisions that decide your destiny and not the conditions of your life. He gives examples of famous people and how they dealt with every frustration to succed in their life. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their lives.
