CROW (Boston Underworld Book 1)

Amazing book! I bought this book about 3 months ago and it has been hanging out on my kindle. I dont know why it took me so long to read it, but once i started i couldnt stop. I immediately purchased the rest of the books in the series and am currently on the last one. I wish the author would write more spin offs for other characters because i just want to keep living in this world she has created. Beautifully written, captivating story, and I loved it!

A friend of mine posted on Facebook that this book and book 2were free so I said why the hell not get them and try them out..this book was very good Macks story to find her friend that's been missing for a year has gotten her no where til she gets her self involved with the Irish mafia and the Russians to find answers and she meets Lashlan fro the Irish mafia them both not trusting one other at all but end up falling hard for each other in the end..

I LOVED this book. The writing, the characters, the storyline, the action and suspense and OH let's NOT forget the SEX.....HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!!!

I loved, lusted and adored every part of this beautiful couple's journey!!!!! Now, I cannot wait for Ronan's story and then I believe Talia's later on down the line, I think and gosh HOPE so!!!!!!

Great start to what should be a promising and terrific series!

I am literally panting in heat right now!! Lachlan Crow is one HOT mobster!

Ms. Zavarelli has captured my attention with this series, and would recommend to anyone looking for a well written mafia story.

FYI - It was suggested to me to pair the book with the Audible version. Although the narrator was female, her portrayal of Lachlan and his Irish accent was phenomenal, totally enhancing the reading experience.

A really good book, full of action, steamy, sensuous love scenes, great heroine, (I loved Mack's feistiness and spunky spirit) and Powerful, hunky alpha man hero. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is there are some parts of the ending that seemed a little far fetched, particularly the scenes involving crazy Mandy. But other than that, great book. Can't wait to read about Ronan and Sasha!

LOVE Crow! This book gripped my attention from the very first page and didn't want to let it go when the last one was turned.  Crow is jammed packed with action,  suspense, romance, betrayal and lies.  I was really impressed with the twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire read. The storyline was amazing,  the characters were very realistic,  and the ending left me hungry for more! 

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Characters are legit, writing is excellent, just enough dark link to test the boundaries wrapped in a big romance bow with a great ending. Could not put this down, read through it while munching on chocolate. It satisfies the romantic ideals and also pushes the boundaries of kink. Amazing. Will read the other novels from this author.

There was certain elements of the story where Mack was concerned that I thought was hard to believe. However, I loved the story and it flowed well. Loved Lachlan. It was a page turner for me! Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

So raw, but exceptionally written. I was completely drawn to every character. To be honest this was not I expected. I figured the complicated twists and turns of the Underworld would bury the story and end up losing my interest, but this was AMAZING! So yes, the next book in the series is added to by TBR pile.

Mack (female) is trying to find her fried Talia and from there the story takes off.interesting read about the mob underworld it's men,codes,and way of dealing with different scenarios in life. People getting killed ---you find yourself rooting for them to die.Lachlan is the mob hood,loyal to to mob ethic and yet all-around GOOD guy.Recommend reading, some STEAMY SEX but,all in all good read.

This was somewhat predictable, but that did not, for one second, make me love it any less. I burned thru it in an afternoon, and then proceeded to devour the second book. Lucky for me, the third was just released, and I've already torn thru it too. I have been completely sucked into this Boston Underworld Series and am literally, a whore, for every one of these male leads so far. Whatever people, they are fictional characters,,,,get over it.

She stands on her own and fights for herself. Lachlan is a rough around the edges, Irish bad-ass who has totally won Mack's heart (as well as mine).

This book was full of secrets, hot mobsters, a dash of sexy love. I loved Mackenzie (Mack)'s strength and loving heart despite her past. And I love seeing a hard, tough guy like Lachlan fall fast for the love of his life. There are ups and downs and you won't know what's around the corner in this book

The beginning of the book was a bit overwhelming trying to keep all of the characters sorted, but the author has a definite gift of sorting it all out for you and sucking you right in to the story. I wasn't able to put the book down! Just when you think you have everything figured out, surprise! Can't wait to read Reaper!

I stopped reading this book twice before I was really able to get into it. When I finally did, I read straight through. Of course everyone in the book had issues, these were not shallow characters. Crow and Mack had secrets and ulterior motives. It all made for a great plot and the expected HEA!

Fantastic book, beautifully written just couldnt put it down. The Characters are well developed and the plot is well worked. Every emotion has been throw into this book and you actually live them all as you read throught. You will fall in love with the main characters, with the "Irish Family" and even with the "the Russian Family". Not once did I get boared while reading or have to skip throught any section, its has just the right amount of everything.

Thank you for not making this a cliff hanger and I will certainly be reading more from this author.

Still in the process of reading but I just wanted to quickly put that i agree with another reviewer that the author all but forgot about the heroine's bada$$ery and ability to fight after the initial scene, which is kind of disheartening.

That's exactly what you get when reading this book! Mack is dead set on finding out what happened to her friend and is determined to infiltrate the Irish mafia, and to do that she has to get close to Lachlan Crow! What Mack doesn't expect is to fall for the hot Irish leader.. This is the first book I've read from this author and it definitely won't be the last..

Completely blew me away. I could not put it down. Mackenzie has to be one of the most alpha female characters, along with an unbelievably sexy Crow, his accent as it was written was just too hot. The book was crazy exciting, and made you hit all the emotions, I laughed, cried, got angry, and of course, butterflies. One of the best mob books I have read yet!

I never wanted to put it down. the suspense, lying and anguish everything all I one story.
It was brilliant! Though I did feel towards the end it became a tad over the top. But other wise I loved this story and everything that cam with it.

SOLID 4.5 Stars. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Interesting characters & good character development, intriguing plot line and satisfying ending. I did have some minor issues but these did not at take away from the story at all. It's a great start to what I hope to be a great series. I'm excited to read book 2!

I have seen this series recommended in different places a few times. I was not really sure what to expect when I started it. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed not only the storyline but also the characters and the "brotherhood". I am very excited to read the rest of the series.

I felt the book was well written. The storyline about human trafficking almost made me put the book down a few times but I was curious to see if it came out with a happy ending. I was happy that the girl was saved.

Great characters, good story. I read so many books that could use an editor. Thankfully only a few errors in this book. Lots of sex, and some violence , as to be expected in a book including mob characters. I've already purchased the next two books in the series. No cliffhangers.

Mackenzie is on a dangerous path in trying to find her missing friend. Lachlan is mafia down to his bones. They manage to build a relationship on lies, deceit and love. This book has betrayal, loyalty, hatred and love. Lachlan and Mackenzie have some steamy scenes too.
