YURI (Her Russian Protector #3)

This book was pretty captivating. Good story line, but I have had about enough of guys being super rich, blah, blah,blah. I was very happy with Lena being strong willed and she seemed so normal. I could identify with her being feisty.

Yuri and Lena
Yuri has been lusting after Lena for awhile he gets his chance to help her. Trouble occurs and she is at his house for safe keeping ( this has been done in books 1,2,3,4) They have oral sex but she insist on a condom, STD's can be transmitted through saliva DUH. I liked the interaction between Lena and Sasha the dog.

Basically you have 4 female friends and 4 childhood Russian friends they meet, danger ensues the Russians save the day the women instantly are in love and vise versa. The love story was boring except Dmitri and Benny now they were into raunchy sordid sex play. I did enjoy Nikolai's back story wish there was more of the mens stories. It was as if the author copied and pasted female and male characters into every book. The series was only a 2 star for me and that's because Nikolai back story was interesting. I honestly don't understand how anyone could rate this a 5 star read, my guess is the authors friends and family gave her a high rating.

Yuri and Lena were wonderful together. I loved the fact that she was tough and didn't put up with nonsense from anyone. She definitely had her girl's back and was down with Yuri. I so loved this series and wished that more was coming faster than this author can publish.

Third book in the Russian Protector series. This story is about Yuri Novakovsky and Lena Cruz. Yuri has been attracted to Lena for months but hasn't made a move to ask her out, there have been a few problems between him and Lena, she blames him for a couple of things that have impacted on her job as a PR representative.

But when the opportunity arises Yuri swoops into make Lena his. She's not a woman who is impressed by his billionaire status, if anything with Lena that's working against him. But he senses she's as attracted to him as he is her. But as problems crop up with her family, and his past dealings, and their lives come under threat.

I'm loving this series each book has a hot sexy Russian, Yuri is a billionaire, like his friends who feature in the other books, his early life was not easy, he has worked hard to get where is is. He has had plenty of women come and go but none had got under his skin like Lena. I liked Yuri he's not just hot and sexy but he's a loyal and passionate man. Lena is strong and feisty she was a delight. Together they were a great pairing. Added to the romance was plenty of drama and action. A recommended read.
Looking forward to the last book in the series featuring Nikolai and Vivian.

This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Yuri so far is my favorite book out of the three I have read / listened to.  Also the issues I had in the previous two books with Pinky Powell wasn't present in Yuri at all!

The ladies in this stories are just so real! Lena could be a girl I grew up with, along with the other three friends (minus the crime).  I found her so relatable and likeable it's easy to sink into the story.  Pinky did an excellent job bringing her to life.

Yuri, what can you say about Yuri. Billionaire Russian, gorgeous, well hung, generous lover and all around great guy.  What's not to love.  Only one question. Where can I get one?

This story had such a mix of mystery, romance, action and drama.  I loved every second! I'm moving on to Nikolai next, I can't wait!...Sara

Once again - I LOVE this series! :) Yuri and Lena continue the Her Russian Protector series and the same fashion as their predecessors did. Full of alpha male, strong females, angst, hot sex, dirty talking, danger and revenge. Coming from the backgrounds they do, Yuri and Lena fit together perfectly. Even though Yuri has mob connections and is friends with felons, he is the upstanding billionaire businessman of the group. Lena with her mind in business and her terrible background, melds into Yuri's world seamlessly. Too bad someone else has a different agenda for them.

Roxie Rivera certainly doesn't disappoint. Her stories are all easy to read and follow. The storylines are fantastic and you will fall in love with all of the characters. At times I felt I was in the story with them. Yuri is the third installment of this series but can be read as a stand alone and definitely has an HEA. But don't stop here. Go back and read the first two installments, if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.

We finally get to see Yuri, the international jet setting billionaire playboy meet his match. One look at Lena and he's a goner. Too bad Lena won't give him the time of day. Now matter how much Yuri offers her by way of a job or by trying to impress her with his money and yachts, she isn't buying. Lena's life has been brutal and men like Yuri only want to leave her with a broken heart. I loved watching these two navigate the beginning of their relationship. Once Lena is willing to let down her guard even a little bit, Yuri steps in. His commitment is complete and he proves it to Lena in big ways. Lena is one tough girl on the outside but internally she's pretty fragile. Watching her trust in Yuri grow is beautiful. The story line is fantastic. Evil plots, revenge, intrigue, sabotage, kidnappings, steamy encounters and lots of sweet moments.

I really loved the romance between Yuri and Lena. There were a few things that were confusing to me about their pasts, but I was easily distracted by what was happening in their present.
I'm not easily surprised by endings, but the twists and turns that this book threw at me were awesome and mostly unpredictable. I guessed half of what was going on, but not the other.
Overall I definitely recommend this book, along with the series.

Oh, God! I love this series of Russian Protectors and their women. Yuri, so damn hot, so damn rich and Lena, beautiful, independent and loyal, these two make such a remarkable couple. Both with fake public personas, both who climbed out of the trenches, both with pasts that scarred for them life, they both just clicked after Yuri made a butt of himself. Hot, sexy, passionate, violent, bullets flying, kidnapping, stolen property and more makes for an intriguing, thrilling ride. We learn more about Nicolai with his past and with Vivian. So excited to read them and getting to know the man who is always there, always having the guys backs and watching Vivi.

Tummy, I really, really hated reading that word over and freaking over in this one. The first couple times it was cute but come on, all the explicit words used and every chance possible I have to read a read a two year old would say? Anyway, I enjoyed this one even if Yuri came off as kind of soft he still held it down. I still can't wait to read about Nikolai but it did leave me wondering if his bad boy act was just his way of getting over the trauma he went through as a child. I can't wait for the next one.

This is a marvelous series and I highly recommend it.

However, I did not click with this story and did not like the heroine or the hero. The hero never hit the Alpha scale for me and I never got a dangerous Russian vibe from him. The heroine was supposed to be 'all that' but spent a lot of time apologizing = oh, you cancelled our date via an assistant who didn't email me that update? I'm sorry, it is my fault ... that kind of heroine is not my style. But I am still buying the next in the series.

There are fun elements to this series. Its very operatic with guns, sad childhoods, grand love, and sexy leads.

I enjoy it. There was a good amount of couple time and I liked this one better than the first in the series. I figured out the mystery pretty early on but that didn't really bother me. Sasha the dog is great. The billionaire thing bothers me a bit but I can see the pleasure in limitless funds and just sink into the bubble bath of a book.

This is the third book in the Russian Protector series. Ivan (#1) and Dimitri (#2) were excellent ---Yuri and Lena's story did not disappoint! I love the alpha protectiveness of the heroes and the fiesty women they love. It does not hurt that they guys are hot, sexy and rich. I liked the addition of Sasha - Yuri's guard dog. I don't want to mention the bad guys in detail because I hate spoilers - but one of them - made me sad. Can't wait for the next book.

Finally, Ms. Rivera has done it. This time, not just good characters and well-paced plot, but...drum-roll please...pithy dialogue. On my Kindle Fire, pages 107 - 108. I laughed out loud!

Oh, and the comment Yuri makes about Brown-haired women named Katya in Russia was also priceless.

Here's hoping book four is even better, and that my friend was right, that reading all four of the books was worth it.

I downloaded Her Russian Protector Series books 1-3 bundle from the store. I enjoyed all three books. Good story lines, well developed characters. I have read other Roxie Rivera and really like her writing style and books. I will continue to read more from her.

Darn it, I knew it! This series are getting better and better and I don’t know witch one of the guys I love more now. :’( Oh well better go and read the next book and maybe figure which one is my favorite. ^_^

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I wasn't looking forward to Yuri' s story at all but I loved it!!! I enjoyed how there was so much dialogue between the characters. The addition of Sasha made the story so much fun to read.

Only negative, was the villain was an obvious give away.
