I love Julie Garwood books especially anything with Highlanders in it :-). This book started out a little slow but then turned right into a great book. The relationship between the main characters just make you want to be loved by a Highlander.....LOL

Julie Garwood write great romance full of strong funny heroines and fierce loving , humorous heroes . Wish she would write more medieval romances again. You willlaugh and enjoy her novels. once you start you wont be able to put it down till finished.

Another great book by Julie Garwood. I really enjoyed the love story between Connor and Brennan. My only regret is the series is over. I would have loved to see what eventually happened between Quinlan and Faith.

I was a little reluctant to read this book because of the few negative reviews. I'm so glad I did. I love reading about Brenna and Conner. Conner had a tragic past and had to avenge his father. Brenna was promised to someone else who had a mean disposition and would most likely torture her. Conner forced marriage to Brenna just to make her suitor, his enemy, angry. Brenna settles in well as wife and makes friends with the villagers and staff. She overcomes some tragedy (don't want to ruin it for anyone by saying too much) and makes assumptions about her and Conner's relationship. Conner sorts her out and alleviates all her doubts.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was good to read about what Alec and Jamie were doing and how their life turned out. I would definitely recommend this book. It's best to read the first book, but not really necessary.

This is another great read from Julie Garwood. If you loved "The Bride" then I believe you will enjoy this as this book could be considered the 2nd in a series of 2. The heroine is portrayed as a little ditzy but other than that I enjoyed this book.

Julie Garwood's is not only always entertaining but she creates a believable storyline that one can enjoy and get lost in. Her writing style is excellent and her stories are absorbing. You do not want them to end.

The heroin wasn't as strong and interesting as Jamie in The Bride, and the hero clung to his brooding ferocity longer than I would have liked. However, it was still an enjoyable read set in the Highlands.

The follow up to The Bride doesn't disappoint. Conner and Brenna are quite the match. I enjoyed this one as much as the first. Even if the stories only cross a little, the characters are real. Very pleased.

I have read this book before and loved the story. This audio version was very enjoyable for the most part and i found it better then the other ones. Heather Wilds have done a credible job reading it with a believable Scottish accent.
