a fun romp through the trial. i watched the trial every day, but never realized what went on behind the scenes. anyone who watched the trial MUST read this book. a real admiration for marcia clark .. she writes as if she's sitting in the room with you .. i highly recommend.

Clarks insights, strong articulating talent, and detailed narrative is absolutely fascinating. All lawyers should be required to read this along with passing a grueling ethics course before getting a license to practice. A must read!,

I enjoyed this book and the perspective from the attorneys point of view. Of course there were so many mistakes during this trial by everyone and it was such a blame game. But I was glad to read Marcia Clark's point of view from her seat. The book is very well written and she adds some very personal information from her own past that makes you understand her a little more. That being said, I think she was claiming her place as woman in the work force. A very intelligent, competent lady that had to continually prove herself and go up against the so called dream team. There is of course criticism for the mistakes made by others, but she also claimed her on and that says a lot. If you want to read another version of the trial, from the prosecution teams view then I would recommend this book.

Marcia doesn't pull any punches here. Great telling of a sad story for the American people... OJ brutally murdered those two WHITE people and a jury of his *peers*.. haha.. let him get away with it. That's ok, OJ will find his own justice in time..

This book is excellent. The way Ms. Clark described all the events of preparations that were done before and during the trial ,as well as the emotions, it made me feel those same feelings. I have told so many people to read this book.

It was interesting an informative. I previously read the run of his life, which was also good. Clarks book gives some insight into what happened to cause the prosecution to make some of the decisions they did.

This book is reasonably stated, carefully descriptive of the legal requirements placed on both the prosecution and the defense in the infamous trial. One of the most disciplined accounts of the trial that I have read, particularly given what must have been a horrible disappointment for the prosecutorial team. Clark is careful to delineate the strengths and weaknesses of both legal teams and is respectful of the judicial process; she is strong in her disappointment of the judge in the case and makes a good case for her response to him. Her story of her personal life is fascinating. Excellent book on a complex case and life.

Marcia as well as being an eloquent speaker was also a fantastic writer! I read this book within a week. What a trial of misjustice! I don't know how the defence team could sleep at night knowing he was guilty and defending a cold blooded malignant narcissist murderer!
Did they ever think about the victims at all or maybe they were narcissists too just wanting to succeed at all costs to humanity! What happened was an outrage. I still can't believe America let him get away with murder when they give the death sentence to other murderers and there is none more guilty than this! I don't know why a jury like that was allowed! I am in shock about it all that it really happened! there should be a retrial now and don't put him in jail, make him dig trenches in the hot sun!
Marcia is truly an incredible woman and I am amazed at how she got through it with small children and custody battles As well.! Marcia you are my heroine! And what a hard worker and Chris too. What a lovely man. Thank God there are some good people in the world when there are so many evil idiots who bow to celebrities and their shallow and fake world!
